VERYYYY HARDD! if you are not interested in writting and you're just taking it becasue it is mandantory i would NOT take her. she tells you upfront that her calss is going to be difficult. she has the highest expectaions from you and grade really hard! not all that interesting and she is not that easy to talk to for help.

She's not THAT bad, though her teaching style is very structured and quite difficult. I'll get away with a C/D, but there are students with As and Bs. As a person, she's one of the most intelligent and emotionally receptive individuals I've ever met. She can come off as rude, but doesn't mean it.I would pick a diff. class only because of structure.

Professor Frasier is very structured and knows what she wants you to do from the beginning of the semester till the end. Very helpful, always gave me constructive criticism about my papers. Deadlines are a little tight on some assignments but this is college not highschool people. Attendance is mandatory but with good reason. Great Teacher!

What I found incredibly helpful in this class was to go and talk to her during office hours. She will help you with your entire paper and put you on the write track. Get on her good side! The class might be a tad overwhelming on first but you will soon get in the groove of what needs to happen. Wonderful professor, take her.

Near impossible to get an A. She had us write a paper at the beginning of the semester and nobody got over a 9/10, including some with only one grammar mistake in a two page paper. DO NOT TAKE. Also, requires attendance every day.

I'm not sure why this professor has been rated so poorly. Her expectations are high, but she does everything to help students reach them. She is funny and approachable. Go to her office with a rough draft of your paper in hand, and she will tell you how to improve your grade before the paper is due.

Definitely not a blow-off class. The load is fairly light (three 1500-word essays, five 2-page reader responses, light homework, and an in-class final). She was definitely one of the most helpful teachers I have had. While her class may be difficult, you'll leave a better writer if you put the effort into it. She's funny, too, which is a huge plus.

Very satisfied with the prof. She is very fair in how she grades papers, in relation to whether she taught something in class or not, as well as if she graded your previous ones so you learn from your mistakes. Available for help after class/office hour/email. Brings personality. Very clear with her guidelines that many ignored due to laziness.

She is a great person, but not as a teacher. She is such a tough grader. She will help you though but this class is not an easy class to pass. Shes nice and everything but shes not a good professor.

STAY AWAY!! DON'T TAKE HER! She is extremely rude, insulting, and sarcastic. You MUST attend EVERY class, no exceptions. She grades participation on it. If you do take her she expects FULL dedication to her class. Email her, go to her office all the time. If you take her good luck. only good thing is she answers emails pretty efficiently.

She is not the worst professor, however, she is a bit tough at the beginning of the semester. She is brutally honest and it gets confused with rudeness. She will always offer help. There are requirements for the papers: 1500 words, printed and highlighted sources. It's not a tough course if you apply yourself. Overall, she is only brutally honest.

The professor makes the course quite hard. She is a bit unforgiving when it comes to assignments. You MUST be prepared for every day of class unless you are willing to take 0's for daily grades. She can be seen as outright honestrude, its a matter of perspective. She is not a boring teacher, as my class liked her despite her "harsh" grading.

She may be intimidating at first but as the semester progressed she warmed up and was very kind. She truly cares about her students and wants to help them succeed, she responds to emails promptly, and is always encouraging students to meet attend her office hours. She gives great feedback on essays and gives very clear instructions.

Prof. Frasier was the best writing professor I have ever taken. She will make you work for your grade, so if you are looking for an easy a, this is not your class. HOWEVER, if you want to learn how to write, and prepare yourself for the rest of your college career, TAKE HER!

A book is required, but we used it for 2 months, so just rent it. Participation is essential so attend class & take part in discussions. We worked on a proposal all semester, but we broke it down & did a lot of drafts for each section. I recommend taking her if you want to become a better writer. My writing has improved immensely because of her.

If you go to class, you will pass. Picking your topic is a 100 Quiz grade. Doing your outline is a 100 Quiz grade. Doing your 1st and 2nd drafts are a 100 Quiz grade. She is so goofy! The people who rate her badly just never went to class so they never knew when anything was do or didn't get any feedback because they were absent. Easy A all the way

I love Professor Frasier. She's very honest about her expectations for class. You get a lot of easy 100's during the semester, as long as you do your homework. She's got a dry sense of humor that I don't think a lot of people get, but she's hysterical.

Second Chances are abundant.

A professor who I have a personal strong connection with. She is quirky and demands alot from her students, but it is all do-able. While she may seem excessive at first, her intention is to make you the best writer. I kid you not, if you go to her office hours with your paper/essay/drafts, then you will ACE this class. She makes you a better writer

I really recommend her. She is one of the greatest English teachers I have ever had and is very straight forward with what she wants. The only cons is that sometimes she forgets what is due but whenever that happens she just gives you an extra work day which isn't a con. Whenever she proofreads she actually gives constructive feedback.

She does NOT want to fail anyone. You get 3 drafts on the same paper. You can talk to her for feedback on your paper. Miss more than 4 or 5 classes & it's an automatic fail. Read her ratings the week before the class started and thought about dropping her class. LOL! she is a really good professor and taking her class will definitely improve your writing. Very straightforward which some people may think is rude? idk lol. NO I AM NOT BEING PAID TO WRITE THIS HAHAHA, read it on a different rating & thought that was funny

I only have good things to say about Prof Frasier. She has very clear grading criteria and if you put in effort into your essays, and it is noticeable, you will reap the benefits of it. She gives you 1-2 rough drafts per essay, which are your chances to improve. Go to her office hours, ensure you take all feedback into account, and you'll do well.

Honestly I feel so bad for how misunderstood this professor is. If you go to office hours she will tell you exactly what to change for all of your papers. Due dates are extremely flexible and you can turn things in as many times as you want. If you put in effort to meet with her there is absolutely no way to do poorly. Those complaining are lazy

Professor Frasier is an instructor made for those who can take criticism and not be afraid to improve their writing skills. She's blunt with her words though compassionate in her nature; if you ask her for help she wouldn't hesitate to guide you through errors. Attendance wasn't required online, but it is if you wanted an A (get the help!!) :)

Although the course was somewhat difficult I did enjoy having Professor Frasier as a teacher. I feel like Professor Frasier is misunderstood. As long as you participate frequently and attend office hours you will do fine in the course.

Professor Frasier takes writing seriously. She wants you to become a better writer, and if you put in the effort you will be. Go to her office hours, its awkward at first, but your grade will reflect the time you put in to learn what you need to work on. She prepares you for college standard writing, and you will excel in comp 2 because of it

Professor Frasier is a very caring teacher. If you can take criticism, take her. She made attendance mandatory, as well as participation. Office hours are strongly recommended. I went several times, and each time you attend she gives you participation points. Each meeting was roughly 5 min. Easy A if you show up to office hours.

Professor Frasier is an amazing professor. She truly cares about her students' lives as well as their learning. As long as you go to class and stay in contact with her, an A is definitely in reach. She is a tough grader, but she gives you more than enough feedback to get an A. She's a great professor, but get ready to EARN your grade!!!

I can tell she cares a lot about her students, always on time, does her best to help you do better. She takes deadlines very seriously but gives many opportunities to correct already graded assignments. Gives great feedback and has good office hours. Participation and attendance is mandatory.

There was 3 essays in total (1 group project as well), she was always available outside of class and extended deadlines a few times due to her unavailability. She's caring and if you participate in class (like ask a question) you'll be liked by her. ATTEND HER OFFICE HOURS, you'll get extra credit even if you just want clarification on something

Prof. Frasier is great! She is very lenient with homework, but she is a tough grader with the essays. You must participate and go to office hours if you want an A. It's not an easy course, but she doesn't make it horrible or unmanageable. The people who are saying otherwise probably weren't prepared to actually write in writing class...

She was a good instructor. She is a very tough grader. Attendance is very important and so is participation, you will get a participation grade and it will be docked if you do not speak up enough in class. She is readily available for feedback and help if needed. Overall she wants everyone to succeed in class but will not just give you the grade.

She wasn't my first choice but I'm so glad I chose her. Gives a very specific rubric and as long as you follow it, it's almost impossible to fail. she has office hours almost every day so if you go to her she will help you. She gives extra credit if you go to the writing center. Office hours will boost your grade.

I believe Professor Frasier was fair but was a tough grader, the class consisted of one paragraph paper and 3 (4-5 papers) and one group project towards the end. Attendance and participation matter, but she does help during her office hours so it's worth it. Overall great professor, she is a fair college professor, but just be ready to work.

Professor Fraiser was a tough grader, although you kind of get used to her introducing a new writing assignment. I would say she can be funny and understanding at times, however you cannot skip a class.

Professor Frasier was a great professor, but assigned plenty of homework. A lot of my time my freshmen year had been spent working on papers, and ensuring I followed the rubrics to a tee. This class was great for learning personal responsibility, but overall felt like a lot of work compared to other professors WRC 1013 classes.

She's very understanding, just turn your work in on time and show up to class. She's a little unorganized but overall a good professor. She offers multiple extra credit opportunity's and communicates constantly.
