Do not take this lady!! She is very monotone and she insults everyones intelligence by reading straight from her power point notes in class. She does not put them on Blkb so you are forced to go to class and be read to like a child. She does not interact with the class she just reads like a robot while you take notes! Don't take her!

I really like her. Class is not the most fun ive ever had but its ok. Her test are very straight forward. Her notes are also very straight forward and easy to understand. I would recomend her to any there is no reason that anyone should make less than an A in her class.

She was a really good teacher. She gives you the notes and all you have to do is go to class and fill in the blanks. She also gives quizzes so that you can bring up your grade (they are open book). If you go to class, you'll make an A. She is very clear about what is on the tests.

She was the class I looked forward to. She posted your notes with certain sections blank for you to fill in during her lectures. Her test were easy and concise. I loved her and her life related examples. If you can, take her. She knows her stuff and she loves class participation. Ignore the bad critiques, they just didn't study or attend class.

She is a very good teacher. I learned a lot from her. Do not take her if you are not up to studying a lot of tests though. She gives powerpoints to print out for the tests but they cover a lot of information.

I took her during the spring semester in 2009 and she was pretty cool. I liked her and I thought this class was going to be easy but I was wrong. In the end, I came out with a B which wasn't bad. I learned alot about Sigmund Freud and others in psychology and also I can identify what bi-polar is now.

Very sweet. She does a great job for being a relatively new professor, AND for having another job. She's slow to warm up, but in class, she's warm, loud and crystal clear. She has lengthy notes, but that's to be expected in a good college course. My only criticism is her low experience, but she should make up for that in time. Take her!

mk u don't have 2 go if u don't mind reading through the book to fill in the blanks from the notes off of BB. um... her tests r kinda hard but if u study like a day or 2 ahead of the test u'll be ok. i never went and i studied the night b4 and made an A. the research paper was fairly simple 2 bs as well. so i'd recommend her.

I like Ms. Parker very much. Her lectures are easy to understand and she is very nice and helpful. I would recommend taking her to anyone who needs to take psychology.

Mrs. Parker is awesome. I took her for 102 and it was fairly simple. She presents the information in an organized and clear way. The assignments were nice becuase they helped your grade in the end, and the drug project was informative. I thought it was a great class. I am taking her again in the future!!

I loved her, she was very nice and understanding. She responds to emails well. Ms. Parker has bonus opportunities and bonus questions on all her exams. I had her for 102 and am taking again for 204! Video lectures are good and assignments are easy and fun.

She was an awesome professor. Filling the blank notes, and multiple choice tests with a few short answers/bonus. Only thing kind of annoying is she keeps you till the very last second of class, even later sometimes.

She is very knowledgeable about the criteria. She most likely will lecture the whole class, but if you are an attentive person it should not be a problem. She repeats things that you definitely need to know. Group work is assigned often. There is a proposal due at the end of semester. Beware stay on top of research. Overall a great teacher.

She is very helpful. She has note outlines you print and fill in the blank in class. Gives lots of examples in class, some of which will be on the test. if you go to class everyday, you will pass. Very few people got below a C on her tests, and those people never showed up or did their work. She drops your lowest assignment grade.

She is SUPER nice and makes this class REALLY interesting. She gives a lot of examples and simplifies all the material. She gives you fill-in-the-blank notes to fill in as she lectures. This class was really easy, just don't take it early in the morning.

She is an amazing professor! Super caring and she makes it very easy for you to get an A. Had her for 101. I am currently taking her for the Tv lecture class, and she is beyond helpful. Great lectures along with fill in the blank notes. Offered 15 point bonus, and 5 assignments, where one is dropped. There are 3 test total and one research paper. All very easy. She also offers small bonus assignments throughout the semester. Her material for tests and homework was always super easy. She provided notes on moodle with blanks that you would fill in during lecture. Hardest part of the course was the research paper you write throughout the semester but if you meet your guidelines and don't put it off, it's very easy to get an A, considering you're average at writing papers.

Not a class I would take a 8am if I had another choice but I'm glad I did. She's extremely helpful & provides examples for everything. Take her for 220 & 335, if you can.

Mrs. Parker is by far my favorite Psych professor I have taken. She really knows her material and is well prepared for class. She posts the notes online for you to print out and bring to class and follow along with her lectures. She is super easy as long as you study the notes. I would definitely take her again!

Took this class online with recorded lectures. You have to watch lectures to do well, but they are interesting (although long). 3 tests and 5 assignments (1 is optional). She offers a lot of bonus, like 15 points or something. Never met her but she seems very nice and approachable. Would take again.

over the course of the class you are working towards completing the proposal, each thing that is learned in the class builds upon each other. dont wait until the last minute to start your proposal!! overall she is extremely caring and always willing to help.

She is very lecture heavy and puts a lot of info on one test but if you start studying a few days in advance youll do great, her tests are very straight forward and directly from the notes

SHE IS THE BEST! She is by far the most organized professor at SLU. All of her lectures are posted on Moodle (they're fill in the blank so you have to go to class). She breaks down the research paper into smaller assignments due throughout the semester to make it easier for you at the end. She really cares about her students and her tests are easy

Mrs. Parker is one of the best options for PSYC 204! She truly cares about her students success even if you are taking her online course. She responds quickly to emails & her tests come straight from our notes/assignments. The lectures are lengthy, but definitely better than taking this course in class! Take her if you have the option! I loved having her as my professor for Psych 117H! She made the class so fun and I feel like I learned so much! She lectures in class and posts notes to go along with it. Her exams for honors are half multi choice half short answer. They were really not bad! Make sure you watch the vids she posts, they are on exams! Take her she's great!

Class is fairly simple. 1 test + midterm + cumulative final. there are video lectures about 75+ minutes each. they are kinda boring but very informative and helpful for the tests. 8 assignments worth 20 points. the lowest assignment grade is dropped. need 6 enrichment credits. they are easy surveys just dont forget to do them. do the extra credit

I took this class over the summer and it was super easy. There were 3 exams and 5 assignments which were 1-2 page papers and she dropped the lowest grade. She also offered bonus points.

There's 25 video lectures. You need to watch them to get a good grade. There's notes she gives you to fill in as you watch. 2 tests & cum. final. Watch 2 videos/week to stay on track. 5 assignments where you write a 1-2 page paper using the questions she gives. All are super easy. She drops the lowest assignment grade. Up to 3 points extra credit

Very caring teacher with lots of grade opportunities. Tests are pretty easy if you study. Lectures for most of class but also has opportunity for you to participate. Very open to communicating and helping you out with anything. I've taken her for 2 classes and would definitely take her again.

I had her class online by mistake, but honestly, I wish I had her in person. She sounds like a really nice lady. I wish I could have met her. Overall, her tests were pretty easy, but I had to print A LOT of notes.

Honestly good teach and even provides lecture guided notes for the class, she is literally the only prof that does that. I have had her twice now for lower and upper psych and she is pretty solid, her test are a little hard so try to study better than I did and you will be fine! Offers bonus outside of class and on exams and does have assignments.

Mrs. Parker is one of the few professors that provides study guides that are actually helpful in getting a god grade. She spends a lot of time explaining the concepts and provides many examples. Be on the look out for textbook readings because those will be on the test. There were a few bonus opportunities to help cushion your grade.

3 tests (45 mc + 5 short answers). Easy quizzes & sometimes assignments every week. Exams come mostly from online lecture videos, but the final included some from additional videos from canvas or achieve as well. Lots of online lectures that feel long (30 min) but she provides notes for you to fill in! Taking her online was the best decision I made

I loved Mrs. Parker so much! Research really scares me because I don't feel like I have a fantastic background but she made it so clear and accessible. Her feedback was always clear and helpful. If you take it into account, you will have no problem getting a near perfect grade on that final paper. Expectations are clear and it's really interesting.

Study the materials and you would be perfectly fine.

I took Parker for psyc 440, and I really liked her 3350 setting over the 440. She makes it more personal and really tries to get to know her students. If you turn something in early enough, she will sometimes give it back to you to get a better grade on the assignment. I overall enjoyed taking Parker for 3350!
