She's a great teacher! She will bend over backwards for you! The book is a REQUIREMENT to pass! Read and highlight before class! Participation is mandatory(60% of your grade) and there is a super easy online quiz for each chapter! If you miss class or a quiz you can write a two page paper on the chapter to make it up! You only have to do 1 paper!

Easy A just do the work

She was a good teacher with a lot of extra credit. I'm majoring in nursing but needed an art class. She played nice movies. We took online open book quizzes after every chapter only like 10-15 questions each. You have to have the book for participation points and you do one presentation and write one paper.

Prof. Wright is the kind of professor that help you when you ask for it. However, its a give and take kind of relationship, you need to show her you care if want help with the class at all. Put in the effort and so will she. Besides that, this class is interactive and really fun to be in. I loved every second of it and I would take it again.

She is fair and will work with you.

Mrs. Wright is an example of an EXCELLENT professor! She comes to class very prepared with power point presentations and always following the well-explained syllabus. Professor Wright isn't the teachers you'll forget or dislike all the way from the start to the end. Professor Wright maintains a lively class no matter the time. She likes have class participation so most of her grades revolve around that other then the quizzes you do at home. There has rarely been a time you have to go home and do 2 assignments.

Class is very easy to get an A in as long as you care. The worst part about the class is the participation grades; she gives them every day and it's hard to gauge what is 100 and what is lower than that. Study guide prepares you for the final well. She offers PLENTY of extra credit and you can make up bad participation grades with 2 -page papers.

A fair teacher that gives you the opportunity to get a better grade if you are falling behind. Test each week, along with projects/presentations, mandatory class participation and an excessive amount of homework. If you are taking this class you will not have time for other classes, a social life, work or your family.

Shes such a lovely teacher! Participation is really important in this class so be ready to participate. Participation makes up the most percentage of your grade. Quizzes are all at home. Best thing, if you have an A in the class by the time of the final, you dont have to take the final! She was so funny and she gave many life lessons as well.

My class was about 30 students but we were all really close because ofthe small space. Read the book, watch the plays, do your flip class ppt, do your review on time & youll be fine. She can get sarcastic but I love her though. easy A, miss her class already. The class is long(I had 3-6pm) but it didnt feel like it ever.

Professor Wright, has been by far my favorite professor. She made every class enjoyable and completely made me fall in love with theater! She is such a genuine, funny and kind person with a great heart. She actually wants you to pass and does her best to help you/guide you. I was sad when the class ended. Professor Wright is in a league all of her own. She's very knowledgeable and friendly. She makes sure you understand the concepts behind the material that is being taught. Attendance is mandatory and she will penalize if you are late enough times. So, be ON TIME! This goes for any assignments you are given as well. The syllabus is your friend.

Make sure to participate in discussions because that's about 35% of your grade. The Theatre Review wasn't worth doing it's only about 1% of your grade unless you need extra work ! Overall I enjoyed this class.

Professor Wright's enthusiasm, care, and love made this class a lot easier, coming from a non-theatre major. Textbook is required to read the Chapters. She lectures and has a Powerpoint available. Flip classes (students teach) are the only presentations we had. Plays/ films are played after each lesson. Quizzes can be taken online (12 questions).

I really enjoyed this class. Theres a participation grade for the lectures which a 100 is a very easy attained, but for some reason you dont get the 100 you can write a summary on the chapter to receive credit or write it anyway and receive extra credit. Theres play reviews you can write for extra credit. Very interactive class and learned a lot

I would consider Professor Wright to be one of my favorite teachers throughout this semester. She is very caring and she tries her best to ensure that everyone pass by giving every student a second chance if they happened to miss an assignment. Lots of participation but it's better to learn to participate now than later. (Great Lectures)

Show up to class and participate. Everything is on the syllabus from day one including final dates, etc, so plan accordingly. She gives many opportunities to receive an A. Caring and funny. She's amazing. Highly recommend.

The homework is easy as long as you pay decent attention in class, and the quizzes including the final are online. The quizzes are open-notes/-book, but pay very close attention to how the question and their answer choices are worded before answering. The professor makes a point about that at the beginning of the course. Lectures are entertaining!

God this class is easy, tests are taken at home based on the book and a movie and you have unlimited time to take it. AND she gives like 3 extra credit opportunities in EACH chapter its insane. Literally an easy A.

Professor Wright was a very nice and caring professor. She gives an extreme amount of extra credit opps, but she does sometimes play sensitive topics in her movies without warning, just keep that in mind. She says you need the textbook but you can really get by without it. The only assignment I used mine for was a project at the end.

She is very passionate about acting and may seem tuff but its because she wants to help you be the best that you can be. Just know that if you don't put in the work your grade is probably going to be not the best but if you do your best, do the work and show up every day and on time you'll be fine. The best professor I have had in BC, due to covid the class was held online which made me sad because I would have loved to take it in class. This is an easy class. If you want to get a good grade just go to class and do good on the quizzes which, follow the lesson exactly. There is one analysis paper that is mandatory. Extra credit papers for every lesson. If you miss a class you are required to do the paper for a participation grade.

She is a great professor and the reason she pushes you is because she has a passion for theatre. I came out learning alot about theatre!

She is on top of her stuff, knows her due dates, knows where to direct you within our college's website, is knowledgeable, funny, and a dog lover too! I am glad I took this class and especially with her. You are expected to always attend class on time, and participate. She also offers many extra credit opportunities. Love her and would def recomend

This class was very straightforward and extremely fair, theres extra credit for every single chapter and the quizzes were short and easy. Participation is the biggest grade of all but she tries her hardest to make sure everyone gets an A in that portion. honestly the hardest part was the one paper we did but if you use the book you should be fine.

Professor Wright was such an amazing professor for this class! She was clear, concise, and worked to help her students understand how to pass her class. All you need to do is participate, do her work, and you got an easy A!

In all actuality, I was supposed to take another class, but it got cancelled so I was forced to take this one. Thank God, because I got to take an easy class from an amazing professor. She is very straight forward and easy to talk to. Very caring! Very fair grading! If you participate... then this is an EASY A! Plus extra credit for every chapter!

Awesome teacher. Super kind and understanding and provides lots of extra credit opportunities along the way. The only way to fail her class is if you really don't give a crap. A little effort will go a long way with this professor and I had a great time in her class.

I really enjoyed this class. You can see the dedication Professor Wright has, and her love for theatre and teaching theatre. Participation is very important, but not difficult. I already knew a lot of the content, but still learned a lot. If you need to take theatre appreciation, I totally recommend taking it with her.

Professor Wright is one of the best professors. SHE CARES. She has so much passion when she teaches, and her assignments are structured around pushing you to learn and appreciate the material. It's impossible to not get an A unless you don't try. A bit of work, but SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT. Put in the time and you will get an A. Thankyou Prof. <3

Teacher is really nice. Participation is a big part of grade, 11 chapters, 11 tests (tests open book and you have a LONG time to do them). One paper is assigned for the semester. Overall easy and enjoyable class.

Mrs. Wright is very thorough with the assignments and keeps the class up to date whenever she makes changes to the schedules.

She was great! You must show up to class and get a textbook if you want a good grade. The class is very easy if youre willing to do the work. The answers to the quizzes are in the book and movies that we have to watch. She is extremely organized! The major assignments we had to do was a presentation on a section in the book, a paper, &a final exam

The teaching style of the professional is spot-on awesome. The concepts are taught and explained very well. Also, all the students are given an equal chance of getting the best grade they could through participation.

Professor Wright is a great teacher. Attendance and participation are required... so as long are you attend every class, speak up during lectures, and complete every quiz on time, you should pass with an easy A. She is a fairly easy grader and makes everything easy to understand with an extremely detailed syllabus.

Amazing class!!! Professor Wright is awesome! I took the Friday morning class from 9:30am-1pm. I was thinking I would dread sitting in class for 3 and a half hours but boy was I wrong! She kept us alert with her bubbly personality and warm, caring spirit. The plays that she showed were very enjoyable. I'm so glad my advisor recommended this class!

Professor Wright an absolutely amazing teacher! She has very high energy, if you can't handle that, don't take her class. She provides the answers you need to participate in her lecture notes and power points, participation is a huge part of your grade but is so easy to get an A in. Get the book, do your work, and you will have no problem.

Professor Wright is hands down the best i've had so far. Not only is she inspirational, she's got a good sense of humor too! I wish she taught other classes besides theatre just so I can be in here presence again.

Professor is very energetic and keeps the lectures interesting. Her style of teaching is unmatched. She has a passion for theatre and it shows through her curriculum. The key to her class is keeping up with the work and taking advantage of the many opportunities for extra credit throughout her course :)

Ms. Christina is highly qualified and competent in her work. She gives her students many opportunities to succeed with a high grade. She enjoys asking questions of their students so they can participate and share their ideas or perspectives for extra credit. He is a motivated and understanding person. She has a good ability to explain very well.

While this is a lecture heavy course, it is an incredibly fun class and I really will miss this teacher. Despite class being more on the longer side, the teacher tried her hardest to ensure we were engaged the entire time. The work is easy if you just pay attention to the lectures and read the assigned chapters. You won't regret picking her!

Professor Wright is knowlegeable and fun. She wants you to succeed and she will help you to recieve a good grade and pass the class but you must show up on time, do the work, and participate.
