This professor is very knowledgeable and very interesting. Her tests are very, very difficult. It is sometimes hard to understand what her interpretation of the English language is, which might be different from yours. I think this was the majority of the class' problem in this class. However, I'd recommend her and take her again.

Professor is extremely nice and very helpful. She makes you work hard for the grade, but his is a summer class and everything is abreviated. Quizes and papers are frequent but not very hard to accomplish. Take Christine if you want to learn, if you want to coast, go to another professer to take social psych.

A great professor, helpful, answers questions & I recommend her. Her accent was no problem w/ me. The book was no use to me. Her powerpoints helped much. The site linked from the powerpoints are helpful: there are multiple choice, true/false, & notecards to help you study. She posts reviews on WebCT & are consistent w/ the test(multiple choice.)

She can be quite rude to her students. She does not like ideas different from her own. I did all the work, read the text, and spoke in class when she expected student interaction. Her instructions are VERY unclear so ask a lot of questions. Don't aruge and do the work and the class will be fine.

You will be stupid not to make an A+ in her class. It is the easiest class I've ever taken.We worked on Vista spring semester and we had online assignmnets...take her if you need an easy A.

Didn't hear good things about her in the beginning. Lots of writing journals, research paper was easy, dicussions easy , gave lots of extra credit, hard not pass the class. used lots of notes from powerpoint, mind you this is a hybrid class. so if you think you can just pass w/out doing some of the work. you should take another class.

required:journals, dicussions, tests, and research paper.All are easy if you give it your all. Leave your opinion in the disc. and not the journals, she has very strong views about certain things just nod and agree, it's better that way. You must try and do every assignment b/c every point counts. This was also a hybrid class, its more convienent

I don't think she's difficult at all. There is a lot of work in her class but it is not difficult (discussions, journals, research paper, and tests). She gives easy assignment; every now and then she's a bit unclear, but she responds to questions well. I have her for a hybrid class and will take her again. I recommend her.

She is very nice lady, just read the chapters and you will do fine. This was a hybrid class and assigments were online.

Dr. Bachman is a wonderful professor. She is very clear in what she wants. If you follow the syllabus and read you will do fine. However, she does require you to write alot. All assignments are easy and test require to understand the read materials. I would recommend for all classes.

Great Teacher! Very clear what she wants. Awsome grading scale. I literally made 2 F's and 2 C's on the 4 tests and still made a A. Gives a lot of Extra credit. Attendence is mandatory, but for only 20 classdays. Grading scale is based on points earned. Ex: 20 days attended is 100 pts, every journal is upto 12 pts, tests are upto 30 pts, etc.

Fun professor, you just have to keep up with the reading, all quizes are online.

Good teacher... Great feed back... Class was not hard, but you have to keep up with the readings.

Very firm and no room for error. I learned a lot in her class. I enjoyed the subject. Lot of work and make sure you do not miss a deadline because she will not let you make it up. Overall, good class, but I would not take her again.

I took her for intro to psy and she was pretty easy. You don't need to study too much. She cares about her students.

I would say it is a great professor. The only thing is that this class has been easy for me, and could get an easy A on the tests.

Im currently sophomore at UHD, so far she has been the best professor for the entire time I was in this school. She is clear and knows what she is going. Don't miss class you will do just fine. I recommend her and I will take her again.

She is a great professor that makes psychology easy to understand. She does ask a lot but she motives you to want to do your best. Highly recommended to attend class to get the most out of her lectures. She enjoys teaching and loves the subject of psychology.

I really enjoyed her class. Her online class was thought-provoking and I enjoyed her discussion "Learning Options." If your posts meet her requirements and you utilize "Spellcheck" (you'd be surprised...) you'll do great. She's very easy to talk to to and seems levelheaded. I def recommend her online classes.

I skimed the chapter reviews. Made an A . The exams are a little tough but use the index and take it the second time and print it out the first bc it will have some of the same questions. Shes easy ... do the work and it will be even easier!!

Easy A!! Read the book and spend 1-2 hours writing and researching your discussion... would recommend and will be taking for the 3rd time in the spring.

Dr. Bachman's Psych of Women's class is a great course and I am learning SO much. With that said, the course is demanding and the tests are very difficult. I have all A's this semester with the exception of her class. If you need an A this is not the instructor for you. If you just want to learn a lot, I would recommend her class.

Great Professor. 3310 was a very challenging class with this instructor; her test were based on application; you will not be able to find answers in the book; reading and comprehending is a must! I made an A but it was not easy.

Dr. Bachman is not the kind of professor that you can make an easy A with. She makes you work for it & you learn a lot along the way. She has weekly discussion posts, five multiple choice exams, and two short papers. She will answer any question you have and gives good feedback.

One of my first online classes and she made everything VERY clear which was greatly appreciated. READ your book and you'll pass. Not too difficult of a book, she responds and grades timely and always has good feedback.

I would highly recommend this professor to anyone interested in women's studies. Her online class is very well organized and it takes a lot of self-discipline, commitment and critical thinking. The textbook is very interesting! That said, the exams are based on your understanding of the material. Take this professor if you want to learn something!

She was very upfront on course work. Not really hard but you have to work for your grade. Test are not easy but all the info is there you have to read and study to make an A. Two papers not that easy but gives you plenty of time to complete. I would take her class again.

It's simple, read and you will pass. Don't read and you will be lost. I hate reading but the material was interesting. Homework and tests every week but it is manageable as long as you dedicate some weekly time. She is clear about what is expected and doesn't make any changes.

Amazing Professor whose feedback will motivate you to your best! Only two papers that were easy, 1 book review (short book) and the material learned is priceless! The weekly discussions were a bit monotonous and the test questions are all applied knowledge so be prepared! Not the easiest A but the textbook is an easy read!

I really enjoyed taking this class! (Psychology of Women) Everything about this class was super interesting! I took her during Summer III! 4 Discussion post & 4 test! She responds to emails and she is super sweet! Take Professor Bachman, she is amazing! You will also need the book because we used it alot

One of the sweetest teachers at the campus. My first interaction with her she helped me plan out the next moves after receiving my bachelors. Her class was easy the assignments are straight forward plus her assignments are aimed to help you prepare for life after completing college. I would recommend her to anyone!!

I really enjoyed taking Health Psychology with Dr. Bachman. The class consisted of : 13 test, 1 intro discussion board, 13 discussion boards and a research paper. A lot of reading but is manageable if you plan accordingly.

Professor Bachman is very well organized. This class consisted of 14 DB, 5 tests, and 1 paper. There is a lot of reading, as expected from an online class, but the material is very interesting. Tests are straight from the textbook.

I have taken 3 classes instructed by Dr. Bachman. She is kind and makes her expectations clear at the beginning of the semester. I love that she is organized and relatable. She responds quickly to emails and is a fair grader. I will continue to take her classes.

I took professor Bachman for a min-mester in May. The instructions were clear and to the point. There was a lot of reading and writing that was expected but she gave is a sufficient amount of time to get it done. Overall it requires a lot of reading, the answers will come from your book. The question reviews in the book were helpful for the test.

This was an upper level class. If you plan to attend graduate school, this class will prepare you. If you turn in your assignments and follow the syllabus, the class is not difficult. If you don't enjoy reading and don't want to study this class is not for you. I had a full load , took 15 hours and worked full time and managed to keep up.

I've taken Dr. Bachman at least 3 times (women, child, elderly psych) she conducts all her courses the same way. She does give very detailed instructions on how to complete the assignments, so if you get a low grade it's because ONE instruction wasn't followed. So be sure to be on top of your work. She is a fair grader and I would recommend.

Weekly Discussions post, YOU MUST FOLLOW what she wants. She gave specific instructions. The major thing is to buy that book she recommends. It's literally the key, have what you need. Don't need to actually read all 500 pages in there. Paper, you just talk about ANY chronic disease & how it affects the individual's wellbeing. Read the rubric

Honestly, I was a little worried because of all the negative rates that she has on here. However, the class was easy. Just make sure to have a detailed discussion post. She was nice I would definitely take her again.

Weekly discussion posts that are EXTENSIVE, but she drops the lowest 2. Essay instead of final (2500 words), but very easy grader. Usually has grades in within 3 days. The key is writing beyond the word count. 4 tests, but she drops the lowest one. No lockdown browser. Definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't mind writing too much.
