ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS I EVER HAD

Took this class online and found it extremely easy. Professor Balmori helps you out tons! You can take the tests twice and you also have make up sessions. I loved her!

This is the most qualified professor there is at MDC to teach accounting. She really is that good, no lie. Prof Balmori is not out to get you. She will work with you in whatever you need help on. She grades in a way that gives students the advantage and as long as she sees that you try, passing the class shouldn't be a challenge.

Okay, well if your looking for an easy slack class...this isnt the way to go. The class is not easy but its doable. Shes cool, you just have to work at it. You have 3 assignments due every week a quiz, accounting problems and a ethics case. Trust me, if you do your work..you will get an A. I slacked so I gotta B.

What can I say? I LOVE HER! She is definitely one of the best professors at MDC. This is not an "easy" class, but as long as you pay attention in class, take notes, do the online quizzes, and the extra credit, you'll be fine. The lowest test grade gets dropped. She is super nice, a really sweet lady. I will definitely be taking managerial with her!

Took this class online. As long as you know how to read you can pass this class. Gives you two weeks to turn one assigment, quiz( you get two chances) and an ethics case. I have four kids and no time to really do school and this class is easy!

My first on-line class and the experience was extraordinary. She is an excellent Professor, very helpful and fair. Weekly quizzes are easy and can be retaken if needed. Final is comprehensive, technical and a lot of computations.

this is my first online course and it wasn't easy at all but Prof. Balmori was very fair and willing to help. I got an A. Try to buy the book before the course starts.

Great teacher of Accounting. I took both Financial courses and the Managerial with her. She used the same book for all 3 classes. Easy to understand but pretty laid back. I recommend all of her classes.

Get teacher she is very helpful and always willing to her. You can got to her office and ahe will help you on whatever you need. She is very understanding and if you just ask her she tries her very best to help. Two thumbs op if your reading this take hyer you won't be disappointed. Very good with answering emails. She is super nice, loves teaching, is there for any help that u may need. Explains everything with clarity nd u really LEARN _BUT_its alot of work. u have HW nd QUIZZES which u HAVE to do Nd u have 3 exams of which the lowest grade is dropped nd the final is accumulative. If u dont have time DONT TAKE HER. Other than that definatly RECOMMEND.

I took both accounting classes with her she's great. She loves teaching and trys to do everything she can to help you. I had no interest in accounting and I thought it would be hard but with her its manageable. Overall great teacher.

I didn't hate her as a teacher but she wasn't my favorite. I was okay in the first exam but got totally lost in the 2nd exam. She goes over the material and makes sure you understand it, but I felt like she tried to squeeze in as much info in a short period of time.

Accounting is her love, She explains it in a manner that makes it seem as a How To for Dummies. Very understandable and is willing to assist you with any problems. The best teacher for responding to emails and communication. 2 semesters with her and I enjoyed every minute of it. Another great professor at Miami Dade College

Professor Christine is everything you expect from a professor. Her classes are very enjoyable. She is helpful, dedicated, and inspiring. She is very fair when it comes to grading. There are plenty of extra credit opportunities in her classes. I have taken two classes with her so far and I scheduled another one.

Prof Balmori is very good. Accounting is hard, but she knows how to explain very well the material. You just have to do your part, for example, my final grade wasn't that great because i didn't do all the HW. I'm taking another class with her this summer.

I took this course online and she helped me out a lot. She does respond emails efficiently. You can take the quizzes twice. There is I believe 3 or 4 exams and a final. Do the online homework. It will help boost your grade. I would prefer to take this type of class in person but overall it wasn't too bad if you are the dedicated person.

Professor Balmori is a great teacher in the aspect that she teaches clearly, is willing to help whenever (especially during office hours), and is very nice. Her tests are moderately hard, nothing too bad.. you must read from the book for homework and tests. Attendance is also mandatory. So do ALL of her homework, study, and show up to class.

She is a great accounting professor. There is a lot of material and she tries to cover all of it quickly, so you might need to try to keep up with her but it will be worth it, you'll learn. Her tests are mostly multiple choice, they are somewhat hard if you don't study or learn the material. She also gives multiple extra credit opportunities.

Came here just to say this is the best professor I've ever had at FIU or Miami dade. Clear lectures, doesn't just read from a power point, makes it easy to learn. Fair graded tests and overall good class, took both accountings with her. Best ever

Professor Balmori is one of the nicest professor's I've had at MDC! She is always there for you if you approach her and is willing to help you if she sees your putting in effort. Very straight forward. Her test are not so difficult if you study and pay attention. She knows her stuff very well and can explain good. Definitely recommend her!!!

Professor Balmori is one of the best professors at Miami Dade. If your major is Accounting, then definitely register for her classes ( fin and man). I am so glad that I took her accounting classes. As long as you pay attention in class and do her homework, you should be fine. Her tests are not that hard and gives lot of extra credit opportunities.

Amazing Professor that is willing to help her students in any way she can. Loves to give us references about her life and real life scenarios in order to teach her lesson. Besides that when you speak one on one she truly cares for you as a student and a person. Really inspirational, might even switch my major over to accounting.

She provides excessive extra credit opportunities and if you attend everyday the students that are present will only receive it. She is delightful, she is able to help you and explains the material somewhat coherently. 3 tests: multiple choice + work problems and a cumulative final: multiple choice only. You will learn with her, I recommend her.

Amazing and caring professor. You must go to class and pay attention in order to pass! She provides many opportunities for extra credit. Take advantage of all of them if possible, because they can easily make the difference between a B and an A. Seeking help early on will ensure you do well as the class progresses! Be respectful, it will pay off.

Prof Balmori is a great! I took her for managerial accounting, I regret not taking her for financial. She gives plenty of extra credit opportunities, nothing unexpected on exams only what she covered, but you definitely have to put work in. She is very nice

Professor Balmori was an good teacher, however the class itself requires effort and time. If you go to class and take all the notes and examples, you will most likely pass the tests. Study off of her test outlines and tests do become WAY easier! Take advantage of all extra credit as it can make a difference in grade, I would take her again.

Amazing Professor! Accounting is not an easy subject for most. She is a very careing teacher who wants you to pass. She goes the extra mile for you. Also, don't be lazy, do everything you can, she will pick up on all the effort you do. All in one, read the chapters, do all the homework and extra credit, see the tutor and you will pass!!

Prof. Balmori teaches you in detail the material that will be covered on the tests. There are five HW's online and two excel problems which are easy and boost your grade up. Just get ready to study outside of class. Whatever she teaches, that will be the main things in the test. Other than that you should be fine. (p.s she also offers extra credit)

If you're an accounting major and you plan to transfer to FIU, she is your professor. Everything that she covers in ACG2021 will be in FIU Accounting Entrance Exam. I took both ACG2021 & ACG2071 with her, and I passed the FIU Exam with ease. ACG 2021 and the Cashflow chapter from CGG2071 is enough for FIU exam. Take her, and you won't regret it.

Fantastic Professor. Get ready to work, to read and to train your memory! One of my favorite teacher in MDC. Don't take this class if you don't want to study. Accounting is not so hard, it is just a way of thinking...

All assignments were due towards the end of the semester so there were no pressure because you were running out of time to complete a certain assignment.

I took her class online and she would send out reminder and graded everything on time. If you do all the connect assignments, quizzes and 4 discussions and you pass them all then you can pass the class even if you fail the proctored final that is worth 20% of your grade.

Loved her class her lectures were very easy to understand even though they were short. She can be strict about grading but will help out with any questions needed. Definitely recommend very good teacher for Accounting!

Currently taking her again for 2071. Her coursework is amazingly organized on blackboard. Shes very charismatic and caring. Very reachable whenever you need help in anything.

Extra Credit available, few things are graded. She is a true gem, so caring and knowledgable. Pay attention and take notes and you will pass. She moves fast but will clarify any questions even via email or office hours. Long exams but doable if you study. You will definitely learn, amazing professor to have. I definitely recommend taking her.

Fair enough. A lot of homework but an easy class.

This course consists of a weekly quiz, homework assignments, and a final exam. Prof. Balmori's lectures are interactive and instructional. Rather than reading from PowerPoints, she reviews specific details and problems from within the book. Her modules also have additional resources if you find yourself struggling in her course. Great professor!

TAKE HER CLASS! She did give out a lot of assignments and quizzes but it was due at a reasonable date and were easy. The final exam did require with the camera on but overall I would take her class again! I ended this class with a 90%.

Took this class as an online course, I don't know what I was thinking. NEVER TAKE A TAX COURSE ONLINE IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT. I found it so complicated going through a detailed course without anyone teaching you the steps etc. Nothing wrong with professor, just don't take this online if you're not familiar with the topic.
