She is so much fun! We didn't have tests, but did activities and stuff to ensure that we were learning. Classroom atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. She is a great prof! take her!

One of THE easiest teachers in America. For the MWF class, she gives you every Friday off. She said in the begining of the semester, "You have to work hard not to get an A" No brainer, if shes still available, dont even hesitate.

Dr. Black is an amazing woman. Full of engery- you never know what to expect in her class!!! She is very easy but you actually learn something too!! If she is availible for any class DO NOT HESITATE. You will NOT regret it!!!

Wonderful teacher! So easy! We took one test the whole time, and I got a 100, even though I left 2 blank! You do learn a lot though! She tries hard to teach on a level the students can relate to, and does a great job!

Dr. Black is an amazing women that can teach at a college level and still making learning fun and easy. I had her my first semester here and by far she is still the best i have had at IUP. She is funny and so intelligent. Take her for any class you can.

She is an amazing Prof. She gives you lab assignments. which are so easy to complete. If the weather is nice she will cancel class. You learn a lot from her, she makes the class fun, and I think shes one of the best teachers here at IUP.

Great profs. very compromising- doesn't push info on you lets you be the adult and accept the info. if you want- she gives alot of info as references and in my opinion it works because references are what people use today, example internet

Very interesting class...she used a lot of different methods in her teaching which kept it interesting. She is a lot of fun, but does tend to let class out early on a regular basis...which I don't really think is a bad thing :)

She is the best teacher i've ever had my entire life. Not only is she a good teach but she also makes learning about health issues fun. Her quizzes are a no brainer and class never goes pass 7:30pm (if you take the 6pm-9pm class). If you plan on taking on her you want be disappointed. Easy "A"

i LOVED this class...dr. black is awesome. she showed videos, gave us 'teacher resources' and gave a good overview of so many different topics in sexuality including some ways to teach them. the peer teaching we did was fun and interesting, and she didn't grade very hard. go to class and do the couple in/out of class assignments, easy A

I can't beleive this is a graduate class. It's a definate break from all other classes; you get to talk and share personal experiences and debate on current issues out there today. Most fun class I ever had; it's nice to have positive motivated professors. easy A

Easy, easy, easy class...wonderful woman with terrific stories, she'll make you laugh pretty much every day..in class assignments are common along with getting out early..she gives real life examples with her lectures and you actually learn from her...take her for your second half of foundations if you can.

Dr. Black is awesome, plain and simple. If you don't like this woman, you have something wrong with you.

Black is the easiest teacher ever. Get out of class early all the time and most of the time you just listen to her lecture which is usually not boring. Minimal homework and so far she hasnt mentioned a single test.

Easy A class but very interesting. She is a crack up!! We watched South Park episodes about HIV/AIDs! I teach now and I still talk about the things I learned in her class. Gotta love the dancing Caddyshack groundhog!

Since HPED 143 is a requirement at IUP, you should definitely take this class with Dr. Black. She is very sweet, and the class is a breeze. Half of your grade is attedance, and the other half is handing in homework. You really have to try NOT to get an A! No quizzes, tests, textbook, final, one physical activty... Dr. Black is the best!!

Dr. Black is AWESOME! She understands college students really well and knows that her class is a Liberal Studies class, so she doesn't expect as much as other professors do. You will learn a lot form her lectures if you pay attention. I would definitely take her again!

If you want an easy A but want to walk away with 0 new knowledge, take her! She doesn't seem to care about the class at all, and has made rude and unnecessary comments to students more times than I can count. Awful teacher, but you would have to try to not get an A in the class.

All you have to do is go to class (you almost always get out early) and do the easy online assignments and you will get an A. She's the nicest lady ever, very caring and willing to help you out if you need extra time. Just be respectful and don't take advantage of her kindness.

Professor Black is one of my favorite professors that I have ever taken at IUP. This class is a very easy A. She gives bonus points at times just for showing up. No tests, minimal work, every couple of classes will be online with online assignments

Professor Black has been the best professor I have gotten the privilege of taking at IUP. While the class in general is easy she has so much passion of the topics discussed in class. She keeps lectures upbeat and personable so youre less likely to get bored. She also has mental health days where you do not need to attend class.

By far one of the best teacher's I've ever had. She is very caring and outgoing and understands everyone. Class was very easy, usually just powerpoint slides or a movie. No tests.

This was a nice class to take to get the wellness requirement out of the way. Easiest class I have ever taken. No tests, almost always lets out early. Actually learned some useful stuff just listening. No note taking, just some modules that'll take a couple hours about once a week, "online classes" just a module that'll take 2 hrs sunday. Take her!

Show up to lectures, do the online modules, and you'll pass. Class rarely went the full time. Just stay off your phones and pretend like you're paying attention to her. She hates when students are on their phones.

I absolutely loved her for Contemporary Women's Wellness. One of my favorite classes that semester and I enjoyed attending. Interesting and up to date topics and discussions. No book, not a single test or quiz, and one easy assignment on D2L ever week. Highly recommend this class, but respect her and don't use your cellphone during class.
