I thought she was very helpful and she was really great about giving partial credit for answers that were right up to a certain point.

Very good teacher... I would reccommend her for sure. She can break down information well. She is also very fair with grading (partial credit for work shown).

She is very good. She breaks down the statistical concepts of this class very well and is very fair on all her tests. She will give extra credit if you go to the math lab for help which is a good incentive to benefit you greatly

This is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She is great at clarifying a subject that I have always had a hard time with. Willing to work with you if there issues. Just never miss a class and do your homework. She helped me earn my first A in a math class. GREAT teacher!!!

If you miss a problem, she'll give you some credit if you showed work that says you knew how to do the problem but just didn't get the right answer bc 1/2 way through you might have messed up. Excellent prof, explains concepts well. Tells you right away that this class has a high drop/failure rate and tells you exactly how to avoid becoming a statistic. She's got a good personality, always smiling & friendly. Her tests mirror the homework. The only thing I didn't like was having to work in small goups and pairs--big waste of time.

I had her for Pre-Algebra. And I loved her. She explains everything, doesn't mind if you ask questions or if she has to go over something again. I really liked her and wouldn't mind having for another class.

She keeps you interested in Mathematics and she is willing to answer questions over and over again until students get it.

If you want someone who cares this is the teacher to take. I couldn't ask for a better math teacher. Let's put it this way I live in boynton and am willing to drive all the way to gardens just to take her!

I'm not gifted with a talent for math, but it doesn't matter. I'm taking Bush's class this semester and I'm enjoying it! She's pleasant, calm, never raises her voice, patient, clear+careful, listens attentively+guides one through a math thought process placing all these technical math terms in their true context. She has a real gift for teaching.

Took her MAT 1033 and MAC 1105 combo class in the spring semester and absolutely loved it. She makes really hard content seem easy and she motivates and supports all of her students. Gives extra credit for going to the math lab and drops the lowest test grade, including the final exam. Got A's in both classes, Would reccommend her to anyone.

Professor Bush sets the bar quite high for her fellow professors. I truly enjoyed her classes and typically I fear math. She is much clearer than the 'whiz' kid because she sets aside her ego and thinks of her students and their success. Take her if you truly want to have a good experience. This lady taught me years ago and I've always been good in math but she made me love it and love her lol she's a good teacher. If you do your HW and come to class you should get at least a "B". I wish she taught pre cal or trig.

Prof. Bush has a well deserved reputation for being a good, and friendly, math teacher. She likes her students and they like her. The grading system is very nice with 5 point quizzes, 1 dropped ch. test and another replaced by the final (if the final is higher). If you are organized you can easily come away from this class better off from it.

Im in her honors Statistics class right now, and she is by far the best!! She takes an old school approach to stats, which I really like because I get a better understanding of the material, rather than relying on the calculator to do the work. A+ TAKE HER!

I don't get the hype. She wasn't as great as she was said to be. She's big on going to the math lab. That's for extra credit (5hr=5pts). She won't help w/calculators. She will help you if she has time but prefers you to use the SI/ML. She hates cheaters & had a horrible attitude at the end of summer bc 2 students cheated. She is ok but not great

She is a very clear and a good teacher but it is truly hard to remember three weeks of material that is on each test. If you want to pass, you need to attend class (its a quiz grade every class)and you will probably need to attend the S.I. sessions. Her S.I. is so helpful! Its alot of work but its easy if you do whats asked of you.

Great, great, great Professor:) Attend the math lab with SI Carlotta and you will ace the class!!! Test were multiple choice, 5pt quizzes, and 5hrs for attending the math lab. If you failed the class you didnt try1!!! She does everything to help you pass the class. Summer term was very fast with lots of information so it was overwhelming.

Great Professor. She teaches the subject pretty well. Gives you extra credit on your test if you go to the lab. Doesn't grade homework, BUT gives you quizzes in class that sometimes are on previous homework. Only 5 test plus the final and she drops your lowest test score and quiz score. I was a bit apprehensive to take Trig (as I haven't taken a math course in over 3 years), but professor Bush is very clear and straight to the point. She gives 5pt quizzes which are IMPOSSIBLE to fail (some are attendance quizzes), up to 5pt ext cred for going to math lab, and up to 10 pts on tests for memorizing the unit circle. Take her for trig!

I have taken Mrs Bush for both College Algebra, and I am taking her now for Statistics. She assigns homework (but does not check it). It is up to you to do it. The homework will benefit you, because for College Algebra, the tests come form the homework. Go to the lab for 5 points extra credit. Take her if you can!! You wont regret it!!

Mrs. Bush is an excellent professor. She assigns homework; however, it is not graded, only reviewed in class. Many of her quizzes are group quizzes and she occasionally has an attendance quiz. Her tests are fairly short and usually straight from the homework. I honestly thought this class was very easy since I took Trigonometry in high school.

The best college algebra class on campus! You have to try and fail this class. Professor is very clear when teaching material and concepts. There are many opportunities for E.C. and boosting your grade (math lab and quizzes). If you do the assigned hw, tests will be very easy. I studied very little and passed with an A just from doing the hw.

If i could take prof. Bush for my entire college experience, I would. There's about 10 quizzes but there all group quizzes(max 2 questions per quiz!) Most test questions come from homework problems so do the homework!

Sweetest teacher I have ever met. She has a sense of humor. Pop quizzes are given. You do need your textbook and graphing calculator. Tests aren't hard unless you don't study. You have to put in work. She has a tutor Lulu that is only for her class so take advantage!
