The BEST TEACHER EVER! She is extremely knowledgeable and so down to earth. Dr. Gayda inspired me so much that I'm following in her footsteps to become a neuropsychologist.

This professor is wonderful. I suggest her health psych class. I learned a great deal in that class and it also helped me find what I wanted to do in psychology. I belive she helps students acieve their goals if you just open your ears and listen to her advice.

I had Professor Gayda for Health Psychology and she is probably one of the best teachers I have had at Stockton. She teaches at a great pace and for virtually every topic we covered she gave real life experiences to show that we did not just have to learn things for an exam. I wish she had more classes that I could take : )

You learn a lot, get an A, and she is fun! If you go every Wednesday you are fine, because she brings Mondays notes. I would advise going Mon and Weds bc you learn a lot. No text book. A few easy quizzes and a final. She gives you the answers ahead of time! Take her! Best class ever!!

This is her 1st time teaching this course. She doesn't require a textbook but her definitions of the vocab are very confusing. She needs to clarify & prepare better on that. Otherwise....it's Gayda! She rocks!

Gayda is a great teacher. She doesn't use a book so she does her best to explain the definitions she gives in class. She often gives test questions during class so you just have to show up basically. For the difficulty of the course she was great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Her class in Lifespan Development is a nice break from stressful, tough classes. She is very lively and caring. Her discussions in class are always fun to listen and participate in. Two tests, light reading assignments, and a one page paper on your opinion. You even get to have a "Fun Day" where you play like a kid again. No textbook needed.

Dr. Gayda-Chelder is amazing! I absolutely loved Clinical Neuropsyc. Although the tests can be pretty tough as there is a lot of material, she really helps make sure all her students understand and are prepared. She is great to talk to even outside of class. Dr. Gayda-Chelder is a fair, kind, energetic, and caring professor! One of the best!

This was my 3rd class with her and she is by far my favorite Professor at Stockton. She truly cares about her students and provides lectures that are hands on instead of powerpoint slides. She loves interaction which allows students to actually retain and gain knowledge. She is also HILARIOUS. She makes class something I look forward to attending.

Best professor at Stockton. Tests are very easy and final paper is a breeze. Easy A. Sweetest lady and very open about everything. Just text her if you can't make it to class and it's all good. She opened my eyes about gerontology and everyone loves her.

Best professor at Stockton. She is very sweet and very funny while giving you valuable knowledge about the elderly. Tests, readings, paper, and presentations are very easy. Just show up and don't text in class (she hates that). No textbook because she doesn't want us to waste money on textbooks. All handouts. Take this gem, you won't regret it.

So funny and such an easy class. No textbook needed. She basically gives you the answers for all the tests because "study guides" are used as the way to take notes. Very understanding if missing class.

literally no work all semester. just show up and get an A. 2 tests that she gives all the answers the day before. 1 mini paper thats opinion based. mini project that everyone gets an A on and if you show up the last day of class you get an A on the final. so easy and she really cares about making the class easy and not stressful

The course material itself is not what makes this class an easy A. It is how well Dr. Gayda teaches the class that makes this class seem easy. Being a neuropsychologist, she understand how the brain works and how to teach in a way to make her students as comfortable and unstressed as possible.

You won't regret taking her class. There is literally no reason to fail her class. She provides opportunities to do well on exams by providing the test questions/answers a day before the exam. Pay attention and participate and you will pass the tests. She has wonderful knowledge and wants to see everyone succeed. Listen to her stories! She is insightful.

Ive overall been impressed by the faculty of Stocktons Psychology department but Dr. Gayda stands out. Her passion for her work in clinical neuropsychology is obvious and contagious, and she clearly cares for and invests in her students. She doesnt use a textbook (badass) and youll do well if you pay attention - her lectures are engaging.

Professor Gayda is one of the best professors I have ever had at Stockton! She really cares about her students both in regards to the course work and personally. She made it very easy to understand and did not rush through any topics if the class was not understanding. She gives many extensions when needed and helps through every assignment!

Oh my gosh, where do I begin. Dr. Gayda is amazing! I had her during the pandemic for two courses and she is one of the nicest, most understanding professors! Professor Gayda is the best professor Stockton has to offer. The semester's class average was 95%. The course isn't easy; it's what you'd expect from a General Studies course, but she presents it in a way that appeals to and is understandable to all students. The course included one exam (online), two papers (2pgs), and a group project.

Professor Gayda is always energetic and funny. Only 4 exams with barely any other assignments. Skipping class will lose you points but just email her and she'll be understanding/excuse you. She really cares about her job, students, and clients.

I took Gayda for Exper. Psych last semester, and again for Clinical Neuropsychology this semester. She is honestly one of the best psych professors at Stockton. Sweet, caring, and passionate about her work. I recommend doing the readings because she loves when people participate in class discussions and it adds to the class significantly.

I took Dr. Gayda for PSYC 3616, which was Aging and Mental Health. Dr. Gayda is so helpful in and out of the classroom. She responds quickly to emails, provides resources for conferences and internships, and is a respected member of the Stockton psych program. If you have the chance to take her, especially for experimental PSYC, do it. She's great!

Prof is truly a caring & intelligent person. The tests are super easy if you pay attention to class, the lessons are entertaining and easy to follow. There are some in-class group discussions/activities but nothing intensive. One short easy reflection essay at the end of the semester. Take her class you wont regret it!

Professor Gayda is hands down one of the best at Stockton. She makes tough material super engaging and easy to understand. The grading is pretty chill, just four exams (which are manageable if you show up), a group presentation, and a reflection paper. Definitely recommend!

We only had 4 exams, no proctoring, which is amazing since it flags for everything & a reflection paper

She was very nice and really cares about her students. She did make comments a couple times that are a little ignorant, especially in her profession, like saying "they're so OCD" about someone who's just organized. But that's my only complaint. I would still take her again & her class was very easy and she made it fun!

Gayda is so dope, I had her for my first-year seminar this semester and I can already tell she is one of the most caring and impactful professors at this school.
