She goes fast but the class goes by quick too
shes a great teacher very helpful, do all the work most likely you will pass
Class goes very fast. Unless you excell in math, you will need to attend office hours and the math place to complete assignments. Class is very simliar to a high school math class. Takes cutting very personal. Many oppts to pass and make a decent grade.
she's a great teacher and she's humorous too! i hate math and she made it easier! take her if you have a chance!
Great teacher, she really makes her lessons easy to understand, and is always available to help.
she is a really great teacher. she makes the hard stuff easy to remember and learn. and shes always there to help.
Awesome teacher... Teaches in a way you can clearly understand and can make a long class seem short. If you do all the work and attend class you will do great in the class. Highly recommend Mrs. Hayter
Awesome teacher. Always clear, answeres everyquestion and ready to help when it's needed. Energetic and friendly. She goes fast but the homework helps you stay on track if you do it. From a person who's failed math since 5th grade take her class. I got a B!
This professor is the best professor I have ever had. She's easy to understand and as long as you go to each class and get the notes and do the work you will do amazing. Her quizzes are easy and she helps people a lot at office hours. Take her if you need to take this class! I got an A!!
teaches very fast..but gives GREAT examples..she's always willing to help...and her office hours are VERY helpful...but she's a good teacher..i recommend her

shes very clear, although she gives a lot of work, it helps in the long run. if you have trouble in math i would highly reccommend her
She really pushes you, but she makes it interesting. Take her class!!
I got an A- in her class and this is coming from someone who needed a tutor all throughout high school. If you go to class, take notes and attempt the hw you should be fine. Her final is optional; meaning if you screw up then you take it. Office hours are great, she practically gives you the answers. I highly recommend her!
Great teacher. very fast but will help you understand math. highly recommended. office hours help alot. must go to class. if you struggle with math take hayter she'll help you pass
Very good teacher! If you struggle she makes everything very clear. Office hours help alot. and if have a question don't be afraid to ask shes very nice. You have to go to class thou or ull mis alot. Highly recommended!!!
This class was great...Mrs. Hayter was really helpful, i missed alot of classes due to sickness throughout the semester and she helped me get back on track and get a 90 on the last test. I struggled with math all through high school and i pulled a B+ in her class. Definately take this.
You have to take Math to graduate...might as well be with a teacher that just wants you to pass the class. If your terrible in Math and just want to pass the class and get out she's the teacher to take. If you put in the effort you will pass, go to the office hours and seek help that shes more than willing to provide. You might even be surprised an
Amazing teacher. She talks loud but it makes you listen and she really cares about teaching. She goes a little fast but has office hours every week and always has time to help. This is the teacher to take trust me.
she is just amazing. i had her when i was a freshman and i am horrible in math but she made everything so simple and easy to understand that i ended up getting an A in the class and i never get As in math classes. she's also very accessible if you need extra help she is there
Best math teacher I have ever had. Keeps math fun.
She is an alright teacher. She teaches very fast, which would be the reason why its 148 but still... she is clear though... she is very nice and helpful but strict about her work... just be prepared to do a crap load of work...

Had her as a freshman. Did not take math my senior year and needed a refresher, she retaught everything I learned in HS but I actually understood it this time. She has quirkey tricks to help you remember equations. May seem corney at times but it really helps you learn. Great teacher and prepared me for MTH 131.
By far the best math teacher I have ever had. I understand math better now than I have ever, and she is always willing to help. If you can try to get her at all costs!!
By far the best math teacher I have ever had. I understand math better now than I have ever, and she is always willing to help. If you can try to get her at all costs!!
Great teacher, alot of work, but she helps you through it, unless your too lazy to care, there's no way you shouldn't get an A
she is the best, very organize and know exactly what she is talking about. all the other reviews about loads of work and teaching really fast is not true. her work is only a lot if you wait till the last minute. its really not that hard. she teaches at a pace in which you can follow through, as long as you have good notes, a A shouldn't be hard.
BEST MATH TEACHER EVER. TAKE HER CLASS. Her assignments are so easy & if you don't know what you're doing she is so willing to help. Very organized and kind.
Very good teacher, helped me alot with my math skills.
She is one of the best professors!! She's really nice and knows her stuff. Gives clear lectures with useful notes to do you homework. Exams are easier than homework. Although there s alot of homework, it really helps you learn. Must take her class!
She's is one of the best math teacher's I've ever had. She's really clear about everything she says and makes time for those who need extra help. She is a very intelligent woman and knows her stuff like the back of her hand. If you need to fulfill a math requirement or are moving up to ULC 148 you should definately consider taking her class.
AWESOME TEACHER. Really to the point and clear about everything. Checks homework every once in a while but overall really nice and helpful. Take the class, easy A
More homework than my other 3 classes combined, but she does leave you with a thorough working knowledge of the material. Definitely prepared me for Calculus.
Very good teacher. But be warned that there is a TON of homework. More than pretty much all of your other classes. She is super helpful and ACTUALLY wants you to succeed. Good for business majors if you are going onto MTH131. Be aware that she is very LOUD!!! But overall a really good teacher
I love her! Amazing professor; highly recommended!
My best professor this semester. I wish she taught other classes, I'd take them in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her, I got an A too!!
Great teacher. She gives homework every night all out of the book. She gives homework sets. They are huge homework packets that she grades like a test. Her office hours are really helpful. She does the homework sets there and take home sets. Really nice teacher. I definately reccomend her
great professor! must attend class, and do ALL work she gives you. go to her office hours it'll be a huge help. very nice, exams are fair. highly recommend.
If you struggled with high school math, you're going to love her. She really caters to those who don't understand the material and you can tell she truly loves doing what she does. Highly Recommended. Phenomenal instructor.
She is the BEST math teacher. LOTS of homework, but really worth it in the exams. She uses easiest method..... I love her. EVEN you are not good in math you will get an A if you spend time for it.. I easily got an A.
Attendance are very important... She is the BEST math teacher. LOTS of homework, but really worth it in the exams. She uses easiest method..... I love her. EVEN you are not good in math you will get an A if you spend time for it.. I easily got an A.
Can someone explain to me how i can have a 94 test average and wind up with a C+?? This woman gives homework every day and walks around the room like a 2nd grade teacher, checking it. And then the homework sets she gives which apparantly count as a huge portion of the grade, are just dumb...if you want to have a life besides math dont pick her.
Definitely take her class. Gives awesome examples and easy ways to remember things. Topics i didn't understand in high school I finally comprehend. She really cares about her students and their well being. Go to class and you will pass.
Very good teacher, if you pay attention and go for extra help (if needed) you will get a good grade in the class. She does assign a lot of homework but you can go to office hours and she'll walk you through it.
If math is hard for you, don't take her. She teaches the class hard expecting everyone to be mathematicans. She is not clear, whips numbers on the board and doesn't really explain what she doing. The textbook we used was worthless. On a personal note, she comes off very snobby. Don't get me wrong she knows her stuff, but she's unclear and hard.
I like how she teach, but she's not easy. She goes through the material quickly so you have to copy her notes, and study it later that night if you want an A. Attendance matter. Do your homework every night. **AND GO TO OFFICE HOURS, SHE HELPS YOU WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH!! **
I've never been a math person, and I never will be; however, this class was required for my major. Mrs.Hayter is an awesome person, she is very intelligent and whips through the math, making it very difficult for someone like me to understand. She does have office hours where she literally does the entire hw sets worth going to.
She made it impossible to fail. There is so much work outside of class that if you can get 100s on those it wont matter if you get low test scores. Then at office hours she goes over every problem on everything outside of class. Therefore impossible to fail. Take her class!
Mrs. Hayter is awesome!!! The class itself isn't the easiest but she makes everything so clear! She gives tons of extra credit and chances to receive extra help. This math wasn't my strong suit but she helped me master it! I definitely recommend her because she rocks!
best teacher ever pick her easy A
All around good teacher, lots of homework to do outside of class, but it will really help you when it comes to the tests. She tends to go too fast through the notes though and can be hard to follow, but if you go to office hours she will help you with anything.pretty hard to fail.
HAYER IS AMAZING. She honestly cares about your success in the course. THere is a lot of work, but it will help with not only preparing for tests, but ALSO your overall grade. She gives lots of office hours. I HIGHLY recommend her. Just wish she taught Calculus!!!
Bottom line: take her class. She tries to make students understand math her weird way but it works. She doesn't call on you in class. She gives take home quizes and is lenient on grading tests. She also has very good office hours. If you attend class and go to her office hours, you will definitely pass with at least a B.
Not a lot of homework and she is a wicked good teacher. Just show up and you're golden.
Amazing professor, makes math fun and easy. MUST TAKE
Absolutely the most helpful professor. She teaches her class like a high school course, intimate, structured and thorough. Offers plenty of take-home assignments that allow for a low test grade or two. Hayter teaches math the way she wants you to complete the problems and eradicates the fluff (unneeded theorems and useless info)
She helps you through the whole semester with the best office hours ever. A good amount of work to keep you busy but if you go to class and try you will be fine. She is a fantastic teacher and I highly recommend her.
Mrs. Hayter is probably one of the best professors I've ever had. She is a wonderful professor who really has every student's best interest in mind. She gives three tests, homework sets, and does a few homework checks throughout the semester. The sets are graded & are very extensive but she helps you with them in OH. Overall, is great. Easy A
Ms Hayter is the best teacher at the University. Her main goal is for her students to succeed and she will do anything to help you get the grade you work for. DO YOUR HOMEWORK SETS!! Yes , they are annoying but she hates them just as you. Go to office hours and you are guaranteed a passing grade. Hayter is everything you could ask for and then some
Hayter will probably wind up being one of my favorite professors when I've graduated. She was extremely helpful and truly cares for the student, giving you all the resources for you to succeed. Office hours are a must and homework sets are a must do. If you complete the work and show up for extra help, you will do well in the course.
She gives student homework(S) every lecture, atho she won't check every time. Yet, HW help you a lot to understanding the materials.(specially for those who not dealing well with the math).I recommended you to read the textbook while doing your homework, it definitely can help you get a good grade on the exam or quiz.
Great professor, I'm an athlete so I missed classes occasionally and she was always helping me. There is a decent amount of work but if you do it you should get an A. So far one of my favorite teachers.
The first two days of class, I was ready to panic and drop--I assumed there'd be no way I could ever pass. I stuck with it since I have to and I'm glad I did. Hayter teaches you the bare bones for success--no theory behind the math, just how to do it. She gives A TON of homework but trust me, if you do it you will do well. Take her if you can.
Best math teacher I have ever had! I wish I could have her for every math class I'll ever have to take! Go to her office hours, they are so helpful and she helps you with anything! She is also very personable! I have always been terrible at math and with Mrs. Hayter I actually know what I am doing and its fantastic!! Best teacher ever!!!!
She is amazing!! She teaches fast paced but its really easy to understand and you can stop her at any point and she would help you without hesitation. She is a semi-tough grader. She gives a lot of Homework except after tests. If I have to take another math class, I would try to find her before anyone else! I highly recommend her!
Christine is a very nice woman but you'll be working for your grade. She teaches fast paced and if you ask her to slow down she will not. She moves fast and talks just the same. Rough around the edges and I wish I chose a different teacher for ULC 148
GO TO OFFICE HOURS SHE GIVES YOU THE ANSWERS BASICALLY
She's such a great math professor, she's clear when teaches, has a sence of humor. Always holds office hours and is willing to help you if you put the effort, amazing person!
At first she comes off mean but once you sit through her class you'll realize she has 5 sons and she still has time for your a$s you'd love her. She is so funny and teaches so clearly. Go to her office hours because that is where you will get all the graded hw answers with the work included. Her office hours are worth skipping another class.
very very difficult. forget about the other people. she will kill you with homework. i tried my best to do it.
Best professor I've had this entire semester! Very easy to understand and is very nice. Work load isn't too bad but if you don't keep up with assignments then your grades can slip. Overall a great professor.
Professor Hayter was by far the best math teacher i have ever had. She claearly loves teaching, and cares a lot about her students. Would recommend.
She teaches well and she cares a lot about her students. Although she speaks fast (no kidding) you will eventually get the materials. She often gives what to study on the tests. She's also hilarious and easy to get along with.
Best math teacher ever!! Wouldn't have gotten the A if she wasn't my professor. She is truly there to help you succeed. She does extra credit and always has office hours where you do the upcoming work together. Would take again with her if I had to. Teaches you lots of tricks to remember things which really helps. Also has a sense of humor
Great professor. Hayter makes math actually easy to understand for once. Graded mostly by homework sets but she goes over it all in office hours so make sure you go to them if you are able to or go to the math center! Tests are actually easier than the homework sets. Final is optional.
Great teacher no exam as long as you do all the homework sets no matter how much they suck when you decide to do them the night right before because theyre long
Math definitely isn't my strong suit, and I only needed one math class for my major. She truly cares about her students and wants you to succeed.
One of the most caring professors I have ever had. Makes me sad that she doesn't have a 5.0 rating because she deserves it. Lectures are heavy but that is how it is for ALL college math courses! Goes through homework in office hours. Explains things very well. Keeps the class engaged. I 100% recommend taking her class, you won't regret it!
She's a very thorough teacher, the only mild issue is she tends to go fast. Math is a strong suit for me, so it wasn't an issue, but if you need her to explain something definitely ask, she is more than happy to. She makes time for office hours almost every week. Tests are very easy, lots of homework, but it's good practice.
Great teacher! She does tend to go very fast in class but the way she teaches makes it really easy to catch on. She uses a lot of tips and tricks she likes to call "hayterisms" and they really do help. Lots of work to be done for the class but that's what makes you successful in the course. She checks homework a few times. Attendance is a must.
Best math professor I've ever had. I'm not a math person but she makes it as easy as it can be. Final is optional, tells you exactly whats on tests, extra credit opportunities, very organized, wants you to do well. Take her!!
Mrs. Hayter is BY FAR the best math teacher I've had. After struggling with math in high school I decided to take precalc first and trust me it was so worth it. She things well and has plenty of office hours to help you with homework, quizzes, and test material. She truly inspired me and made me love math again. I'd recommend her to anybody!
Hayter was the greatest math prof I've had. She knows people hate math, gives opportunities to raise grade and makes it SO easy to understand. She is very organized and that helps a lot. I highly recommend going to class, its not boring its VERY helpful if you go. Hands you test info. Very funny and passionate about what she does HIGHLY recommend.
Very hard class. 70% of your grades are centered with just 3 exams. Not fair. Teaches too fast and sometimes hard to understand her.
She wants you to pass, and is willing to take the time to go over material if time permits. Go to the after hour sessions with her, she gives the answers (the points add real nice). Know the concepts within the notes, there are extra credit days, multiple ways to raise the grade but attendance is necessary. Don't always check homework but good prac
One of the best teachers/profs I've EVER had. Math is not my strong suit and I only needed one math course towards my major. Prof Hayter is the reason I passed! She genuinely wants each and every one of her students to do well. Easy A if you're already good at math. If not, there's a lot of wiggle room if you do bad on exams. GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!!
Hayter is a fantastic math professor, but she's a busy woman! I'm sure it'll depend on how each semester goes, but she has no TA's and a short block of time for office hours. If I leave class not completely understanding a concept, I have to struggle in the math place with others until we have a grasp on it. her "hayterisms" work wonders
She is very good at her job as a professor and knows what she is doing. Her lectures are packed with a lot of information so skipping class is not a good idea, she also takes attendance. The final exam was optional if you were okay with your grade after the final test. Be prepared for a lot of homework but it does help if you put in the effort.
Overall really good and funny, sometimes she moves a little too fast to keep up with and will have to talk to her or go seek help from others to understand material. Grading criteria is clear and she is funny. Show up to office hours, she does all the homework sets there and you can just copy the work. Do the hw to learn the material
Hayter: She does not give us any range of our grade besides the midterm grade (it's not definite, she only tells us if we are passing). Even during the pandemic she said "if it is given in at 12:03, it is late & will be graded as a 0". I asked her for an extension on an assignment bc my mental illness impaired my work, she told me no & gave me a 0.
Honestly the best pre-calc professor you can get. She's amazing in many ways, she cares about her students and would email you if you're missing anything or something is not right. Her office hours help you do the HWs (Sets and take home quiz), and she's very clear in her explanations. She gives a lot of opportunities for you to get a good grade.
I cannot say enough good things about Professor Hayter. She gives many opportunities for her students to succeed & genuinely cares. She is extremely knowledgable & will always help if you ask. She is by FAR the best prof I have had this semester, you just have to pay attention in class & take notes or else the tests/quizzes/HW will be difficult
I love Ms. Hayter so much she made math so fun. I will definitely recommend you to take her !
good prof and makes math understanding, she does need to chill
I have Professor Hayter this semester and she's amazing! Math has always been my worse subject but the way she teaches makes sense to me. Her office hours are SO helpful and her tests and quizzes are very fair. 100% recommend her to anyone who wants to take ULC 148, you won't regret it!
AMAZING PROFESSOR. Mrs. Hayter is one of the best professors I've had at UB. She truly cares about her students and teaches in a way that anyone can understand, even if you are not so good at math. Her tests and quizzes are pretty fair if you study and she gives you the topics in advance. Completely recommend!
Prof Hayter is one of the best professors I have had at UB. She gives a good amount of extra credit, but exam scores drive the course grade. Practice problems are right out of the text book, so exams are very fair. DO THE HOMEWORK, even though it is a lot it will help tremendously. Pretty sure I ended with over a 100.
If you want to build an amazing foundation in algebra and trig for the rest of uni take this class. She has great teaching methods and really cares about the class. Probably one of the best professors in the entire uni
It seems overwhelming at first, but you get the hang of it. MML due on Sundays (20 online questions), textbook questions given every class and due the next (do them!), and a homework set with about 20 questions due every week or so. Everything is laid out clearly. Mrs. Hayter is very fun and laid back, and the class is easy to follow.
If you have the option to select this Professor, select her. Her teaching methods are amazing, and she offers a good amount of extra credit opportunities. While there is a lot of homework, as long as you do them and pay attention in class you will get a good grade.
Best precalc prof. Offers TONS of extra credit for simple things and super helpful to anyone who has struggled with math in the past and has to take calculus. You can tell that she knows what she's doing and knows how to get ideas/concepts to stick in your brain.
Mrs Hayer was probably the best math teacher I have ever had. If you want to do good in her class DON'T FORGET the Pearson homework. The HW is an easy 100. Also she checks homework randomly and it counts as a grade so make sure you do that. Overall she explains all the topics in detail and always makes the class enjoyable!
she really is a good professor she gives lots of options for tutoring and goes over mostly all homework assignments during office hours, there are a lot of quizzes so be prepared to study and do a lot of homework the homework assignments on pearson are easy hundreds and she randomly checks homework 4 times throughout the semester
She knows her stuff. if you want an easy A take her class
I found Ms. Hayter to be one of the best professors I've had! I came to this class fearful as I wasn't sure what to expect in a college level math class. I enjoyed her enthusiasm and partial credit given on tests. The main key to this class is effort so if you put effort in you will succeed. Don't take anyone else for ULC 148, TRUST!
Hayter was amazing she helps you understand and learn the material and actually wants her students to succeed. she seems a bit intimidating at first but if you attend lectures/ OH she will be more than willing to help you get the grade you want. She also creates a group just for students so they are able to connect with their peers for help.
Not tech-savvy at all, there's no reason to not upload what assignments are due if we are absent due to sickness. Especially when it's a freshman class, not dropping our lowest quiz that you gave us the first WEEK OF school? I'd rather experience any other math teacher for my first semester of college. + the absurd amount of work due every week...
Office hrs are rlly early on Monday, but she does EVERY question on sets/quizzes (TONS of pts). Teaching style is ~90% offline (chalkboard, paper gradebook) but knows what she's doing + is easy to understand. u can use ur tablet/laptop for notes/hw tho! Big EASY xtra credit given 1st week. Tons of HW, but all optional- beware: 4 random hw checks
She teaches incredibly fast. It's tough to process what she teaches you because you write down notes but can't understand the material you're jotting down. Get outside help, because if you don't you're practice problems become Googles problems to solve. At that point you learn nothing, so if you have her, get a tutor because it may be ur only hope.
she goes fast over the lessons but she teaches well. it's true you can easily lose points on the test but be careful of your answer. I would recommend her for MTH 113, not sure about 114 but she is prefect at teaching.
As someone who has had a lot of bad math teachers, I'm so glad I got Hayter. Her office hours are basically a time where she goes over these things called homework sets that are graded like tests. If you go to office hours, you will literally know every answer on the HW set set along with how to do the problem. Take her class if you can!
Amazing! I loved her teaching style and really helped her students out. Best professor ever!
Hayter is honestly such a great professor, I was really sad to find out she doesn't teach Calc. As long as you pay attention you should do extremely well. You have to put in a bit of effort, but it's not bad at all. If you go to her office hours she gives you answers to some of the graded stuff and that added up.
I have always struggled with math as a subject but the way Hayter taught and created phrases to better understand/material was amazing! I have never gotten such high grades before! She genuinely cares about her students; 100% go to her office hours. They are SO helpful and a huge key to success in her class.
I LOVE AND MISS HER! Absolutely an amazing professor and her silly phrases helped me remember things for Calc 1. I'd take it with her and she gives good extra credit. She's always trying to help out so definitiely take her!!
Awful proffesor
She had a very unique teaching style that's interactive and fun. She's very good at explaining the material and teaching students.
Mrs. Hayter is awesome. I am not a good math student at all, and I did fantastic in this course. Lots of homework, but you'll be fine if you attend class, pay attention, and take good notes. Also, GO TO OFFICE HOURS. She gives you free answers to important assignments worth A LOT of points. Take this course!
she teaches at super sonic speed so get ready to lock in. As long as u do the hw you will easily pass any of her classes, office hours are basically just giving you the answers as well and as long as you do the required work you will easily get > C+, one of the better teachers here, very caring abt her students issues outside of class
Professor Hayter is one of the best math teachers I've had. Her engaging lectures, helpful office hours, and consistent grading made this course manageable. Using Unstuck study alongside the textbook was a lifesaver for study prep. Definitely take this class if you can!
Unless you dont know math well, you will fail her class. Very fast and super heavy homework assignments (all paper) that she wont even give you a grade for most of the time.
Professor Hayter is the best math teacher I have ever had, going into the semester I thought I would be falling asleep during the 8am lectures but thanks to her teaching style I stayed on task and locked in the entire time. The amount of homework given was ideal for learning the material as well.
She's very helpful and willing to help if you don't understand something.
I have no idea how she has such a high rating since EVERYONE I've talked to who has her has a professor hates her teaching. Heavy amounts of homework is due the next class you have her, not always credited, she randomly checks hw and publicly announces individual grades. Quizzes frequently given with its material for the quiz taught a class before.
She was the worst teacher I've ever had. I wish before every class that I got hit by a car. she is very fast paced and has little to no office hours. No wiggle room for her to help you out. She has a 50 mins scheduled office hours plus like 20 mins twice a week between classes. I would recommend not taking her. She's on her phone a lot during class
Lots of homework. Loved the little memory rules. Really helps with memorizing the trig stuff. She told us on first day she had a son new in the military and she had to be available by phone because his time was unpredictable.
Loved the Hayterisms! Helped with memorizing math rules. Homework sets were a lot of work but helped with learning and studying for tests.
Ms. Hayter is the best math teacher I've had at UB. She's kind, organized, and truly helps students understand math. Her lessons and feedback made me enjoy the subject more, and the skills I learned in her class have helped me succeed in higher-level math courses. In conclusion, she's the best teacher in MTH 114. Highly recommended.
You'll be annoyed with her rules the first week of class because there is a LOT of work to do. But trust me it's worth it like her homework forced me to keep solving multiple problems everyday. The only thing I would say I disliked about her is the attendance part. You are expected to only bunk 3 days in the whole semester.
All you have to do to pass class is show up, listen to lecture, and do the homework. Multiple take home quizzes rather than in class. Office hours in the morning where she'll do the homework set and quizzes for you. Tells you the topics to study for tests and quizzes the class before. Again, if you go to class and pay attention you'll pass.
Having this class at 8 in the morning twice a week, I wasn't expecting to retain so much information. But Mrs. Hayter is very good at teaching, she'll explain something again if you don't understand it and overall, she is very helpful. Even though the homework's are rarely graded and tedious. DO THEM, they help a lot. Would recommend if taking 114
Professor Hayter was a great teacher. She made it very easy to understand the material and was always willing to explain it if you don't understand. Office hours are important! She went over all homework sets and test material making it extremely easy. Do the homework, It may seem like a lot but its really not that bad. Offers extra credit.
Classes were easy to understand and straightforward. Lots of homework assignments but she only actually grades a couple of them. I would say if you can't make it to her office hours do not take this class. In office hours she gives you answers to homework sets and take-home quizzes. You will not do as well if you cannot make the office hours.
Professor Hayter is an amazing and attentive professor. She truly cares about her students and has great teaching methods. It's a small classroom so there are expectations to stay on top of your work, and Professor Hayter gives many opportunities to pass. Just make sure you do what you should do in a college class. Be prepared, study, and do work
This professor was really good. She is very passionate about what she teaches and truly cares about her students. I found that this class was very easy to follow. She teaches very well and makes the material easy to learn. Would 100% take again and I highly recommend taking her for any courses that she teaches.
Ms. Hayter is that type of teacher that motivates you to do well, she is funny, kind and understanding. She does give a lot of homework but it's nothing you can't handle if you are on top of your work. Lastly, there is extra credit opportunities at the end of the course and please go to office hours it is VERY helpful.
