Professor Killian is a great teacher overall, she loves for her students to interact with the lecture and is straight forward. Im in a hybrid class meaning we have plenty of online discussions which aren't bad. 10/10 recommend

I'm taking her hybrid class. The lectures are really good. We have experimented with different art media.

You have to do the work but it is interesting so that you want to do the work. A combination of short readings, videos, and discussions. Really liked the class and the Professor Killian gave me a lot of feedback. She was encouraging!

Took her hybrid class and loved it. She has so much knowledge packed in to her lectures. Made it very interesting to listen to. She also had hands on projects which was a blast.

Online class. Everything was easy, just do the assignments. You get plenty of time to do the work. I am taking several online classes and this was, by far, the best organized and had the best feedback from the Professor.

Professor Killian gives feedback on a lot of my submissions. She is encouraging, thoughtful, and understanding. I had some issues during the semester and she replied with care and concern. Wish I could find more like her for my other classes.

I had a great time in this class. I honestly looked forward to going to class every Saturday and enjoyed the art projects very much. I learned to appreciate art in a different way I hadn't before and I'm glad to have had a great teacher like Mrs. Killian who has a real passion for what she does.

This was an online class but there were enough responses from her that it felt like a real class. Do the work and the A is yours.

I really enjoy watching different artist and learning about their passion. As long as you do your work there is no reason why you should fail.

I noticed Professor Killian really cared about how I did in her class after I forgot to take an online test. She noticed I didn't take it, reached out to me, and made sure I got it done before the deadline. She definitely makes you work for your grade, but the coursework is insightful and really helps you understand art and all that goes into it!

Professor Killian is a very good instructor and makes us really pay attention to art and look at the detail and makes us question artist and their artwork. I really learned a lot about different art and artist that I did not know about before.

This class is a very informative and nice class to take. You learn a lot about art and about the different types of art, the elements of art, the principles of art and so much more.

Professor Killian is a wonderful instructor, every time i had a question she would always help. To me this class was the easiest i learned so much about art, artist, and styles of art. My favorite assignment was the movie Wasteland. It was powerful and moving how they all came together as a community. Great class!

This was my favorite class. I have not been in school for quite some time, so I did not know what to expect. I took some required courses, that I needed to move into my Junior year at UT, and I did not anticipate this being my favorite class at all. IT was my favorite because of YOU, your encouragement and feedback and attentiveness to the class

This was a great class. I was a little unsure about it in the beginning because everyone knows that I can't draw even stick figures. I actually learned a lot in this class and saw some really great art. I would recommend this class to anyone. It was a little time-consuming but for the most part very easy. I really enjoyed this class.

I enjoyed the PowerPoint and discussion format of this course! It allowed me to research more about the artists and explore a large number of works by them! Now it's a habit when I walk by paintings or statues ill point out what I notice to them and my interpretation of the artist's expression. I never had much trouble with the links.

Loved Professor Killian. The class had a good pace. Assignments were grouped and it made it easier to complete them. There was alot of time between the assignments so I never felt rushed. She always commented on several of my assignments. Ive never had an online professor who left comments. Plus, she even sent reminders a couple of times.

I enjoyed the modern feel of it, and it wasn't always about renaissance art or "old art" like I thought it was going to be about, the only thing I wished was different, was some of the links didn't work. I am starting a new semester after a very bad one last semester. I don't even have Professor Killian and she sent me a message to whish me well this semester. How impressive is that? Profs rarely contact students and she reached out a semester later. Makes me ready to take on this semester!!!

Although the was required for my fine arts credit I found myself loving art. There was a lot of variety of art and different kinds of art. A lot of interesting facts. I especially liked that the professor made comments often letting me know I was doing well or had made an interesting comment.

After taking this class, I feel like I look at the world a little differently. I learned a lot about art and its true meaning. Everyone has their way of expressing their art. No matter what it is, It is unique and well thought out. This course was a learning experience that I am grateful for.

The professor has artist profiles all semester and you read about them or watch videos on them then write about them. It is easy and I like learning about all the different artist and their work. The professor is nice and makes comments on your work.

It was like being in class but working whenever you want. She is also great at explaining exactly what she is looking for when she is grading. Would take more art history from her.

She had assignments that allowed us to work ahead, discuss with other students, and she engaged with us a lot. She commented on our work, asked questions, and allowed students to discuss what we truly thought about art. As a nonart major I will always remember what I have learned and have the ability to discuss art knowledgeably.

Prof. Killian's online class is interesting, manageable, and relevant. I didn't have to like everything that was presented and it was ok to say so. I now have a newfound appreciation for numerous styles of art and a general knowledge of art history.

I am finished. The course is open all semester and I was able to work ahead and complete the course and now can focus on other classes for finals. I learned so much from art history, artists, & styles of art. Great instructor with alot of feedback.

I think this course was very straight forward and informative. Feed back was greats from professor. If you didn't pass this class you completely just didn't apply yourself.

It was pretty easy and laid back and it was nice to have my own pace and everything unlocked in case I did want to work ahead which helped with my life schedule.

I truly learned more than I thought I would in this class and how you can help us understand more in depth with art. The meaning behind some pieces opened my eyes in a certain way with the detailing of the artist. I've always loved glass work but I've learned to grow more fond of other ways of artwork.
