TAKE THIS CLASS!!! VERY NICE LADY (i think shes hot for 40+) 3 test not cumulative. easy as hell AS LONG AS YOU STUDY at least 10+ hours for test. big notecard. full page 8.5x11 double sided. just put in the time by taking text book notes and you'll be fine. our class had 5% extra credit. Got an A with that, B otherwise. IDS 302 is hard, but doable

the easiest class in life she lets you use open notes and open book just print notes and go to class right down everything that she says out of the book or just highlight it youll do fine .... quiz and a super quiz as the final and a group project

She is very approachable and nice. Ex-president of Goodrich.. went to SDSU herself. Offers 5% extra credit 2-page easy paper...3 tests, no final. 10% attendance. I got a C- on every test & came out with a B- in the class; she lets you bring in a sheet of notes front & back for each test! ...easiest IDS teacher there is. She's really cool. take her!

She is so wonderful! 3 tests that you really have to study for to get a good grade, but she is totally helpful if you need her. I spent an hour in her office going over homework and came out with a much better understanding of it. Take her! She is fair and curves if need be. She offered extra credit for those who were there after the break

Class is not difficult so long as you READ THE BOOK and ATTEND CLASS. There are 6 quizzes and lowest is dropped. Group project and comprehensive final exam. Christine a cool lady and very approachable. She is a straight-shooter with upper-management written all over her!

Probett is one of my favorite teachers EVER!! i had her for both mgt 350 and ids 302. mgt 350-6 quizzes all open book (easy A's), group prject not hard at all, one final thats still open book. ids 302-she teaches it well, get to use whole page of notes on tests. TAKE HER!! she really cares for her students...cant say enough how great she is!

Over all, she is a nice lady. sadly, her explanations are not as clear as u may want them to be. she goes thru the material fast, so u have to pay attention. be sure to practice a lot before each test, coz she tests pretty mcuh everything. her tests are not easy, so study as much as u can..

Even though the class material was very boring, Ms. Probett did an excellent job presenting. She does go through the material fast because there's so much to cover but we didn't cover a bunch at the end so she didn't make us do a few assignments which was great. Overall, very helpful. Tests were pretty easy.

She is a very nice teacher and organized well. Quizes are easy, and you can drop the lowest score. The exams are ok but not so easy. She is not hard on presentation. I just felt little too much work to do because I needed to write papers about every cases that were presented.

I'm still in Professor Probett's class, and its a hard subject. She acts rough on the first day to filter out the punks, but after that, she is very kind and helpful. (She is also very hot for an older lady) The class is hard, but she wants to help you if you need it. She is clear, but moves fast. She is super accomplished. Work load is reasonable

prof probett is a pretty nice professor and cares about her students. BUT there's alot of materials in this class and she goes very fast. She is not as clear as she should be on some materials. 3 exams, you get to drop 1, 1 cumulative final, several quizzes, some hw's and she does take attendance.

This class is very straight forward and easy. 3 Exams, lowest one dropped, 1 final, and 1 group paper. So long as you pay attention in class and read the book, you will do fine.

WORST teacher I've taken at state. She is completely boring and unsympathetic that her class average on tests were low D's. I took six classes this semester,, got five A's and a B in this class. She expects you to know EVERY WORD of the book and the lecture slides (which she ripped off from the book website). The final is cumulative. Don't do it!

a hint to pass this class easily: simply copy paste her powerpoints to a cheat sheet. don't modify any of the words and you'll do fine. she's experienced with the material since she herself was a president of BF Goodrich. retired early and dedicated herself to SDSU. i had a pleasant semester with her!

She's extremely helpful & will extend office hrs. 3 exams & 1 final, few easy homeworks, 4 easy T/F Pop quizzes so attendance is mandatory, only IDS instructor I know of to have Cumulative final though! Talks a mile a minute rushing through the material so you need to go to her office hrs for a more in depth explanation Allows 1pg of notes on exams

She is overall a good professor. This class isn't hard by any means, but she uses powerpoint slides given to her from the book she uses. Her tests are all out of a test bank, so some of them are tricky. Attendance mandatory, 10 "pop" quizzes, 3 tests, 1 final. she drops your lowest test and quiz. One of the better teachers for this topic.

The best professor I have had at SDSU. Even though I was not too interested in the subject, she made it easy to do well. She is extremely clear in her expectations, helpful, & friendly and makes it a point to learn names and know students as individuals.

Christine is a relief to SDSU College of Business! Material is NOT easy, but she teaches and tests in a manner that makes it easy. Unlike other profs at SDSU, shes not out to trick you on tests and everything is straightforward. Pay attention, take notes, and study a lil beforehand and youll get an A/B.

Very nice woman. Always willing to help. Her tests are pretty straight forward. Know how to do all the problems for the assigned homework and u'll be fine. Copy and paste pp info on one side of cheat sheet and calculation info on otherside. A+ not really worth it unless your completely desperate. Look @ old tests for final, lots of repeat ?'s.

Excellent Teacher! You have to be familiar with the material to pass the class. Do all the homework problems. After each test go to office hours and check your mistakes because similar problems will appear on the Final.

Does not teach! All she does is read a powerpoint. Going to class is necessary to fill in the powerpoint blanks. Also has ten true or false quizes. Tests are a little difficult especially the comprehension. I feel like she tried to trick people on them. DONT BUY THE BOOK. Never used it and could't sell it back!

Great teacher. First half of the semester is powerpoint lectures with 2 exams, second half is group work and presentations. Don't need the book, but attendance is mandatory. She provides useful knowledge and doesn't bore the hell out of you.

Easy class, take her. She drops your lowest exam (besides final). Final is comprehensive but not too hard. She gives many pop quizzes so attendance is mandatory plus there is a sign in sheet. She's a fair teacher. I got a B without really studying.

Really helpful. Tries to make interesting. Definitely read the book if you want anything above a C. Two group projects (presentation and a paper). Quiz every class when meet once a week. Drops lowest exam (excluding final). Cumulative final but gives a study guide.

Christine is a very good teacher and has an impressive career background which makes her interesting, and worthwhile to listen to. DON'T BUY THE BOOK, you absolutely do not need it at all. Her powerpoint slides are practically word for word out of the book. I didn't buy one, and did well above the class average on all tests.

Took her summer class. Christine has an impressive resume of her management experience. Her PowerPoint slides cover all the material, but I still read the book to get more details and examples. 3 scantron tests (posts the results on blackboard on the same day). 1 team PowerPoint presentation on an ethical dilemma & 1 group paper on a case study.

i actually took Probett for 350 and 352...she is an AWESOME prof; super chill and relaxed. Keeps even the most dry subjects interesting and is pretty funny. Very straightforward and impressive in her knowledge. I aspire to be as successful as her.

One of the best teachers in the MBA program: her class is very interesting and grading is fair, and - maybe most importantly - she truly cares about her students and is always willing to help - she even helped me find a scarf I left in class, and wrote me a recommendation letter when I needed it. She is the kind of teacher that makes a difference.

I love her! She's really nice and funny. Attendance required because of quizzes. Group paper and presentation were easy. Tests are CHALLENGING and she takes small things from the book so reading is essential. Really grasp the subject matter to do well on tests. She drops your lowest test grade. My favorite teacher this semester definitely.

She definitely wants to know everything before the test. She is extremely accomplished and I loved her class, but I had to work really hard to get an A. She drops a test and her final is cumulative. She narrows down the information you need to know for the final which is really helpful. Everyone I knew got a B or A

Not super hard but I definitely underestimated the final. Had A's, A-'s on everything before the final but she didn't give enough time on the final so I did pretty bad and got a B in the class :( I think it's cuz most teachers are suppose to have a certain avg in their classes. Lets you use notesheet, drops lowest quiz and test. Really nice teacher

Don't buy the book I never used it & got A's on the tests. 3 tests & a final but you drop your lowest score. Final is cumulative but only has problems no comprehension. you have to sign in for attendance & can have 1 unexcused absence. she is helpful and clear and gives you examples. Do the practice problems they help on tests

If you dont like powerpoint presentations, dont take the class. You go over powerpoints all class, but the test comes straight off those powerpoints. Tests are not hard, you get 1 full page cheat sheet for the tests. Do the connect homework and practice problems and you will get an A in the class.

It doesn't get any easier than this. Tests are straight out of the text. You have to understand and memorize, but for an upper division course, what do you expect? Exams are challenging, but very doable. Lectures from PP, so you don't need to go. She is very friendly and helpful and actually changes questions/grades if there is an error on an exam.

Probett has an awesome personality and is very openly approachable if you need help. 3 exams and 1 final (1 exam dropped). The pop quizzes are mostly easy so you will have to attend class. My fav professor so far at SDSU.

Probett is a great professor. She's crystal clear in her expectations and grading is fair. Be warned if you are taking BA 662; there's two big group projects and presentations. It's tough scheduling if you're working full time and so are the other MBA students. Say goodbye to your little bit of free time.

Caring and understanding professor. Her class is moderately difficult. Attend class and most importantly PAY ATTENTION to lectures. Quizzes are easy, attendance in mandatory, let you use a cheat sheet on tests. (be careful not to rely on cheat sheet because you WILL NOT pass the exams). Homework is not difficult and either is the research paper.

She is a genuine teacher at heart which makes for a strong Professor at the University level. Really dedicated to SDSU =). Lectures are interesting and I tried not to miss class but unfortunately couldn't attend every1 of them. Really straight forward expectations and challenges you to see the bigger picture of how businesses function and operate.

Her powerpoints were straight from the textbook. So just understanding the PowerPoint slides and you'll be good for her test. But her tests are HARD. Luckily she has a great curve. I asked for help a couple times and she attitude so I just worked with a study buddy. A plus review wasn't too helpful for this class either.

Avoid. HW, practice problems, and exam problems all different. First exam class average was D. Gives a good speech but rushes through the hardest material. Comprehensive final that is 99% formulas from every chapter. Reading quizzes every class. No curves, no extra credit. HW, quizzes, essay are worthless. Exam grades determine overall grade.

Very helpful. She teaches exactly what will be tested on. Allows you to have a sheet of notes for the tests, which is extremely helpful. Do the practice problems on blackboard and put examples of those on your note sheet & you should be good for the test. Professor Probett is really helpful. Her lectures are interesting and she is very exciting about them. I learned a lot. There are 3 midterms and she drops the lowest; there are quizzes after a lecture and she also drops the lowest one. The final is cumulative but she gives study guide for this one. Her tests are not very difficult nor very easy.

Professor Probett is one of the most professional/ inspirational teachers at SDSU. She is a brilliant professional with an impressive background, which she incorporates to her lectures. This is a great professor. Yes her class is difficult, but if you put in the effort and stick with it you can pass this course. It may not be pretty and it may not be the grade you hope for, but she does care about her students. I honestly did not touch the book much because she made more sense then it did. She will help if you ask. Great class!

She is a great professor. The class itself is hard, but she tries to make it as simple as she can for students to understand the material. Easiest class ever! Seriously, there's no tricks here, What she teaches you in powerpoint/HW/practice problems is what will be on the test. Not hard at all, this is the one class where the objectives are extremely clear. Class is straight forward and not very demanding. Probett sets you up for success and the rest is up to you.

First off, this is a very difficult class. Not due to the teacher, but the curriculum. Professor Probett is a fantastic teacher and an amazing individual. Now the serious stuff.. (1) Lectures are very fast pace (Tons of material). (2) Homework is easy and does not reflect the test difficulty. (3) Random in class Quizzes (Easy) (4) Extra credit

Good Professor. Never read the book. Do the practice problems she uploads on Blackboard to prepare for exams. They can be tedious but are the best way to prepare. Not a lot of other opportunities to practice examples. Offers opportunity for Extra Credit so take advantage of that. Lectures can sometimes put you to sleep. Don't miss quiz days.

Good professor. The class really isn't THAT hard, there is extra credit, she posts lectures online. She gives you SO many tools for success so as long as you try a bit, you're fine. You get a "cheat sheet" for each test. Be aware that the final was like 30% (or 35%?) of your total grade. She cares about her classes and is inspirational.

Good class! Would reccomend. Challenging but if you work hard at it you can do it. 3 "midterms" drop one. Cumulative final that is easier than midterms. I got 106% on the final and failed one of my midterms.

Christine Probett is hands down one of the best professors within the honors college. You have busy work due weekly, but if you complete it, you get a 100%. She intends to make this class a GPA booster, but also prepare you professionally by providing several speakers and clinics in class. You won't regret taking her.

Professor Probett is one of the best professors at SDSU. While the class itself isn't easy, she does a great job explaining the material in an exciting way. There are 3 midterm exams (the lowest score is dropped) and one cumulative final exam. Make sure to show up to class to take quizzes for easy points and do the extra credit for an extra 2%.

Among the best professors I've ever had! VERY organized and clear about expectations. Don't need the textbook, never did A+ review-- lectures and powerpoints she provides include all material she tests, and got A's on all exams. One easy company research paper, submit early for extra credit. Go to class for clicker points!

Probett is an amazing professor. If you want to take her for honors113 make sure to sign up early because her class is the most popular. She is crazy intelligent, caring, and even made us a class t-shirt. The guest speakers she brings in once a week are actually very motivating and give lots of useful information. Definitely take her class!!

She is so sweet and nice. She really does care about her students. Her lectures are really long and can get really information heavy though. Her tests are not too bad. She lets you have a cheat sheet front and back for the test so it really is not hard to get a good grade on them if you put everything that you need on there.

Took this professor because it was recommended if I wanted to pass this class. Barely passed. She allows a cheat sheet on tests which is nice and she appears to be a nice professor, but when I went to her office hours, she didn't want to explain the material to me again because "it took so long during class." Would only take again if I was forced.

She's very professional, lively, not monotone. You get a double sided cheat sheet for every exam and the final. If you turn in your (only) paper during the first month of the semester, you get 2% added to your grade

You are not going to find a better professor on this campus than Professor Probett. This course is as straight forward as it gets, but you will need to rehash some of your mathematical fundamentals to complete homework and exams. The final exam is 99% math problems, but it is completely passable. Take advantage of the office hours. She is awesome.

I was in her 2 hour 40 min class. Lectures were long but still interesting. She has a course reader you can buy that makes note taking easy and she posts videos of her lectures after the class. There was a quiz at the end of each class. Never read the book. HW was on online textbook and pretty easy. You can have a 2 sided info sheet on all exams.

Don't buy the book, I promise you will not need it to get an A. I did not study enough for the exams and that's what really kept me from doing better. Practice the problems as you study and be wise about what you put on your cheat sheet. Also, you can easily get 2% EC by submitting a short paper early. I received 80.78% with the EC so do it!

If you are trying to choose an honors 113 class to take, take Probett!! She is by far the nicest and most caring professor I've ever had. Her class is easy and fun and she intends for every person to get a high A.

This class is hard, she rushes through her lectures and you honestly can't comprehend anything because its so much information. She knows what she is talking about though, so my advice is to watch the lectures at home instead its MUCH easier to learn the material that way, also A+ review will save your life. she gives extra credit!

Probett is EXTREMELY well versed in her course. She is VERY straight forward and not ambiguous at all. Unlike most of the profs at SDSU, she lays everything out to make things simple and understandable. This material is boring and not relevant to me, however, and I wish I tried harder on exams. Do the extra credit paper, it's not hard. Take her!

If you buy the course reader and the code for the HW you DO NOT need the book, mine just collected dust. Probett's class is highly organized and structured so students can succeed. Do the 1 page paper right away for 2% extra credit on your overall grade. SDSU should have Probett & Eaton teach the other professors how to properly teach classes.

Professor does a good job at explaining material. Free tutors are available the entire semester. Do the term paper early for 2% bump in gpa. To do well on exams do practice exercises. If you prep well for exams and do your hw you should have no problem with this class.

There are 3 exams, homework due each week(easy because you can answer the same questions over again), and a final exam. There is extra credit(additional 2% to your total grade if you turn it in early!) You do get to create a info sheet, so be mindful on what to put. I just wish professor can slow down with the calculations.

She is very thorough in her lectures. She gives you a study guide for the exams. Be sure to study her practice problems on blackboard for the exams. They are more helpful than the online homework. There's quizzes at the end of each lecture. She is very nice, knowledgable, & makes the material interesting by giving real-life examples of it.

the best for 360 tbh. she is extremely fair. very clear on tests. goes out of her way to help students calc grades ahead of time, etc. not an easy topic but makes it easy to get. everyone respects her. clickers every class. didnt use textbook but you need it for online hw code.

TAKE HER!! Probett is an amazing professor who makes a hard subject simple. She is very clear in lecture and what she expects from her students. She is also helpful in OH and fun to talk to! A Friday class for 2.5 hours is not appealing but her class is worth it (most of the time she doesn't take up the whole lecture).

Probett is a solid choice for BA360. I took the class once a week and attended every lecture as there are quizzes every class that make up a portion of your grade. Tests arent that hard as long as you study the lecture recordings . The book isnt necessary but it is an immediate access that you have to buy in order to do the homework.

Professor Probett is a super kind woman and has had such an inspiring life. She cares about all her students and wants everyone to be successful. This class focuses a lot on character and career building, and the book is an easy read. Take her for any class.

you dont need to buy the book, just the hw code. You can use chegg for hw probs. Study the practice probs on BB for tests, not the hw for calc Qs. She says not to attend A+ but My friend did and he got better grades. No curve, one test drop,1 extra credit opportunity. Hw is easy and unlimited tries. get course reader. quizzes weekly. cheat sheets

The best professor! I did poorly on the first exam (but it got dropped). I learned how to study (use the practice probs on BB), made use of my info sheet (2 sided), and ended up killing the rest of the exams. She really cares about her students and that is apparent when you go to office hours. 2% extra credit is nice too...

Probett is a phenomenal professor. She is one of the most respected faculty members at SDSU, and she has lived and is continuing to live a very successful life by almost anyone's standards. This makes what she has to say even more meaningful. She is not teaching for the paycheck; she does not need it. She is teaching for her passion and it shows.

Professor Probett is one of the best professors I have ever had. She is extremely caring and strives to ensure that you understand the topic of SC Management. Her lectures are well organized and she gives practice problems to prep for the exams. She also provides plenty of tutoring with her graduate assistants. Definitely take BA 360 with her.

One of my favorite professors at SDSU. She is one of the realest professors I've ever had. She truly wants you to do well and gives you every opportunity to succeed. There's no surprises with her tests, she gives you a detailed study guide. You do not need to go to A+ review to do well, they pay people to post all these comments saying it's hard.

Nice person, very passionate about the subject, but she's overrated. PPs only give easiest ver. of test questions, NITPICKS like hell on tests knowing we have 8.5x11 2 sided cheat sheet. so u HAVE to know everything to the bone if u want to get A. Go to A+ if u want to BUY the A, she said it will not work to but it's pretty obvious she's lying.

Probett is a good professor. Go class to earn clicker question attendance. Do your project (WBR) early for 2% EC. I went to A+ Review for all the exams and did decent on the exams. Enough to learn the content and get a B overall in the class. I bought the course reader but don't really need it with the PP she posts. Textbook is at your discretion.

Professor Probett is awesome. She wants you to learn and is always willing to help you with whatever questions or problems you have. Get together with other students and study her lecture notes, chapter practice problems and you will be fine. She only offers one chance at extra credit if you turn in a research paper early so don't procrastinate!

Very knowledgeable, she'll share her broad experience in supply chain mgmnt, very interesting. She gives real world examples. Don't mess w/ her about cheating, takes it SUPER seriously. Tests are kinda hard. Study, go to tutoring. Know and understand the material. Hw length depends on chapter, could take 15 mins-2hrs / week

I feel like if we didn't switch online (cause the pandemic) I could have gotten a higher grade. She takes things really seriously so don't mess around. For next semester she was thinking about doing 4 exams, dropping the lowest exam, and no final but that isn't finalized. For sure will be different than what others have taken.

This is a go learn yourself class. The class lectures are pre-recorded & what you learn during the video, is not going to be on the test. I also read the textbook and it wasn't helpful. What is helpful is doing the practice hw problems (btw ungraded) from the word document, but she doesn't teach us how to do them. Test questions are tricky.

Quizzes right after class, her lectures are pre-recorded and pretty long so you teach yourself. Exams and quizzes are on lockdown browser and she's super strict about it. You can use a cheat sheet on exams but still hard af. Theres 1-2% extra credit for turning in a paper early and Pearson homework due every week.

Her lectures are pre-recorded. This has actually been my favorite class that I've taken because they're pre-recorded. It makes it feel like you're actually in class. Quizzes are right after the scheduled lecture time. It forced me to watch the lectures which made the exams easier so I liked it. She is strict about times to start but will work w you

Professor Probett is a really good teacher and really cares about her students. She will help you if you ask her and make time to meet with you if needed. The class is very hard and requires a lot of studying and being on top of things. Unfortunately, I found that out too late and didn't finish very well. My advice is to ask a lot of questions!!

Extremely disappointed in this professor during COVID classes online. She was by far the most impossible instructor to reach out to and honestly does not care about her students during these times. Assigned hours worth of lectures each week from 2017 not relevant material. More considered w cheating than why her class had a D average on Exam1.

I honestly don't know how her rating is so high. She didn't teach at all, her TA did everything. She has us watch 5 year old videos and you have to teach yourself everything. she's gonna warn you not to Go to A+ review but don't listen to her she's a terrible professor and A+ is the only way you'll pass.

I dont understand how her ratings are so high you can do the extra credit, get 100 on the Wbr, do all the hw, and still fail her class. Her class and tests are set up to make you fail. Go to A+ review or you will fail.

She is a nice person, but the class setup was not as nice to us. All the lectures were pre-recorded, no backtracking on tests/Q's. 4 tests/lowest one dropped, but they're 25% each, HW 7.5%, Q's 10%/ lowest dropped, WBR 7.5%... Students who got A's went to A+ review. The only extra credit is if you turn in your WBR on time 2-0%: added to the end %

I prefer asynchronous because I'm lazy and it's easier to watch it on my own time. However, it's a waste of money for her to be a teacher. Everything is pre-recorded from 2017 and even the papers are graded by TAs. kinda annoying we're paying for a class that doesn't even have a current teacher. Test questions are also a lot harder than lecture.

Probett is a fantastic professor! She had an incredible career working with business operations, which translates into her mastery of everything supply chain and operations! There's a paper you can turn in early for 2% extra credit! 7.5% quizzes & homework, 10% paper, 75% tests. She nitpicks on her test, so take advantage of the 2-sided cheat sheat

Professor Probett is a must take! She has real-world experience as an aeronautic engineer that makes the class awesome! 7.5% HW, 7.5% Quizzes, 10% web-based paper (with 2% extra credit possible), and 75% exams (4 + low dropped). The average on her exams are Ds and Cs. Make sure to do all the practice problems and the 2-sided cheat sheet! Good luck!

Overall ok experience. Exams we're ridiculously hard even with 2 sided cheat sheet. While quizzes, assignments, and WBR were grade boosters. Can turn WBR in early for the extra credit which helps as well. Lectures were alright mostly for notes on cheat sheet. This class has potential to be great however her teaching style is simply boring.

The class is difficult. If you are not good at exams, you will struggle. Her exams are hard and very weighted. You have to study hard and stay on top of the material. Take Aplus it helps.

Your whole grade is relied upon 3 hard tests. She says to not go to aplus review, but if you dont then you fail. Shes a very nice lady and has an incredible backstory. That being said, you have to do well on her tests or you will fail. She also drops the lowest test grade. If you do good on the WBR paper and pass at least 2 of the tests, youll pass
