fun class you will learn alot

You can tell she likes teaching because she will always take time out to see you if you have problems. She works on helping you find your problems to help you pass the class.

I had her for on-line class and this was good. She will comment back on your work and tell you where you are going wrong

Good! Had her on-line this past year and got to see one of the poets we read and meet her at school when the poet came to the school

Yes, do please be ready to read, because she's someone who loves to bring in articles for us to do our papers on. It's worth it all in the end. Discussion in class is amazing! Professor Redman was a great English Comp teacher. The lectures in class are amazing and I always looked forward to attending every Tuesday and Thursday! You will love her as your professor!

Had her for Comp I. I love this professor. Her lectures and topics are current and fun. Her feedbacks are great. Get ready to read. Writing assignment due every week, but her instructions make the assignments easy to follow. My writing has definitely improved because of her. Her love for writing is inspiring. Would definitely take her again!

Christine Redman-Waldeyer is one of the best professor you can take, if your in need for EN103 he's the teacher to take. i found his online class very organized, to the point, and interesting. his topics are actually things we apply in real life. i would recommend him to anyone.

great training in writing stories and ethics

Class is very straightforward, and even though tests are on the hard side, Redman has no problem taking the extra time to help get you through. Homework and portfolio are easy but essential to passing. Definitely recommend taking for composition.

Professor Redman-Waldeyer is a superb teacher especially if you're new to the campus and need to know your way around. She does rely on attendance, but exemptions can be made. Be prepared to write a few papers and listen to lectures. Only negative about her is she does carry on about politics in nearly every class which is really annoying.

Dr. Waldeyer is a little dry but once you get past that she is an excellent professor. She tries her hardest to make you a great writer. If you do not mind being a little bored sometimes in class, then choose her because the work is not that hard.

I love Prof. Waldeyer. She is an exceptional teacher who will help you every step of the way. She allows you to do revisions that really help your grade. She is very sweet too. Take her!! She is a good grader, accessible, she responds to emails, and she really wants you to succeed. I thought her class was boring but once a conversation starts, its a great class. Workload is normal.

She loooooves poems, so if you plan on taking her for EN102, get ready for analysis papers. Her lectures are rather boring, don't expect to learn anything from her class. She talks during the whole lecture. I am the worst at writing and someone I got a decent grade, so I guess she's pretty lenient with grading.

I never enjoyed writing until I took her class. She's very helpful with papers; she has a one-on-one meeting with you to edit your paper with you before handing it in. She is a sweet professor who respects her students and knows her field. Definitely take a class with her. Shes awesome.

Dr. Waldeyer is one the best professors I have ever had. I genuinely hated missing her class. Even on sick days, I would drag myself to her class just have the engaging conversations on the topics we learned. I had her for both English 1 and 2. Both experiences were amazing. A real fun class to have her in is Journalism (which I also took).

My second time with prof waldeyer. She is very nice and helpful. English is my second language and she helps me get through the harder assignments. I would recommend her if you have a hard time with writing.

I love Dr. Waldeyer. I took her for many of my classes such as composition, critical thinking, journalism. SHe is super helpful and won't steer you wrong. If your an English major there are many opportunities to get involved. I'm at my first semester at a 4 year school and am happy I did.

My favorite professor by far this semester. One of the only classes I didn't mind going to. She's fair and will review your writing to help you editing. A good choice if your not a strong writer. She understands not everyone is an English major but still helps prepare you for writing.

Professor Redman is a published writer but don't let that intimidate you. She's very helpful and has already really helped me with my writing. There is a lot of great discussions in class even if we get a little side tracked at times. I would recommend her.

I had a thougsand questions when I heard we were going online probably for the rest of the semester. She was great. She called me back right away. It's hard to believe we all have to move online now.

Well this wasn't an online class but is now. She's doing Zoom once a week to go over everything for the week which is really helpful. We are also using discussion board so the zoom is very helpful. I wish more teachers were using it even if it's not the perfect. we are lucky she knows technology. Overall a nice professor.

Prof CRW has really helped me feel like I can write. She offers extra credit but you have to be able to get out of your comfort zone and try poetry or stories. Very encouraging professor.

She's great. stays after class and talks with students continueing discussion topics from class. she's nice and has you try out creative writing too but as an exercise, not graded on ability

Smart lady. Five papers for the semester and reflection on the time periods. American history as it relates to literature are the main topics. Pretty straight forward. She also gives time in class to review writing before you submit final drafts.

Professor Waldeyer is amazing! She is really passionate about her job and she really cares for her students! For someone who was not a fan of reading and writing, she is an inspiration and helped me improve my writing tremendously! I would take her class again.

My favorite professor so far! 1. Make sure you participate in the lecture since you are graded on it. 2. Criteria for what she likes are clear. 3. She is approachable to talk to and genuinely wants her students to grow. Pay attention, be respectful, do the work, and you should be set. She gave us free pens during finals. So wholesome :-)

Very helpful if you ask for help. Most work is drafting for ideas and she is fair with grading if you try. I will miss the class.

I recommend this class. If you have to take this class I would suggest taking it with this professor I promise it will be a easier way to get those credits. I will be honest though the professor has long lectures and it will get boring most of the time. She is nice, approachable and very helpful.

I just finished taking her this summer. Very helpful in terms of helping you if you aren't sure about an assignment. She offered optional zoom sessions at the beginning of the semester. I attended one. I really liked the free writing assignments.

Professor Redman's passion came through even online. Her feedback and freewriting exercises helped me find my voice and build confidence. Annotating taught me how to read more deeply. I left the class a stronger, more thoughtful writer and reader—truly grateful for her guidance!

Six week courses are hard but she made the criteria clear so it was easy to get through.

She's very patient. I've watched her explain something over and over again in many different ways until everyone understands. If you want extra credit, participate. She uses notetaking to prewrite papers which I like. I don't usually like reading but her pick of short stories were interesting. Would take again if I could!

Definitely taking her again. Many opportunities to raise your grade by participating and with keeping a good notebook.
