Shes good but hard. Take this class if you really want to learn, but be prepared to work and stay on her good side. Quizzes are tough matching 1 word to 1 word in readings, papers must be perfect. An A is a real accomplishment. Good luck!

shes okay for a teacher . her quizes are not hard at all and she lets her students grade them after the quiz!the essays aren't hard either just follow the format.

Her essays are really easy with the exception of the critique paper which is the last paper given required by the state. Take the web enhanced class which only meets on tuesdays, trust me, it's easy!! She's a bit intimidating at first but she'll cool off.

Took this class online . She was very clear and sent reminder e-mails often. The class was a bit of work but it wasn't very difficult. You have to follow her instructions very carefully and do every assignment in order to get a good grade. Both the midterm and final were straight from the book and not difficult at all. Not a bad class overall tho.

I'm currently taking the online class and writing my final assignment. OMG! you'll learn but I don't think its worth the time. Everyday she leaves HW and its time consuming and tedious. You'll regret taking it at the end when you have to write your final essay. I don't know why she makes it so complicated, you'll be burnt by the time you're done.

If you have nothing else to do with your time, take the class. I do admit that I learned but not as much as I should have with the amount of assignments given. Kept me very busy and stressed. Loads of homework and the final assignment made me regret taking the class with her.

Great Professor. She is very big on the "sandwich" style essay. Not a hard class at all. There are four essays during the semester and both exams are proctored. If you are not good at essays you might want to take another class.

From the beginning the requirements for an A in her class are made very clear. Your final grade is based on 4 Essays,Midterm, Final, and an average quiz grade. Very good-hearted woman, polite and fair. If you really hole-heartedly hate essays then take someone else, but if you wanna learn something and enjoy writing then by al means take her!

I completed the exercises, took her quizzes, read her book, got A's on the midterm and final and my final grade was a B (4 essays, midterm and final divided by 6). Follow the composition sandwich. Dont forget the transitions. Expand your paragraphs (Five its not enough even though she says thats minimun) and vocabulary.

If you are taking her for enc1102, you should have good previous knowledge of ENC1101, she expects you to know what you are doing and I repeat she doesn't explain much, but if you need help she will help you. Took her virtual class. She's a great teacher. At first it was a bit confusing, but she makes sure to keep her students constantly informed throughout the course. Just make sure you follow ALL of her instructions to the T and keep up with the due dates; and you'll be in good track to obtaining that A. She will answer all of your questions.

Nice lady but she can be a bit boring sometimes. Class is really easy if you are good at writing essays. You must complete an essay every two weeks but they are only 5 paragraphs. No tests or reading boring novels. Small quizzes but those are easy as well. I recommend easy A

This class is really easy. I took the blended course and the notes were exactly what was on the test. She doesn't care much about attendance so you really don't have to come to class most days if you don't want too. She is also very clear on her assignments and the books help you along the way.

I took professor Robinson for ENC1101 and it was not that hard. she does gives multiple quizzes and 4 essays, plus midterm and final. But if you study you will pass and do well. In my opinion she is a bit harsh when it comes to grading the essays, but if you follow her instructions you will not get less than a B.

Took the blended class. Everything you need to pass all the test is online. Tough grader on essays but its all reasonable corrections and marks. If you fail, its cause you didn't even put a minimum effort in this class . Would take again.

The classes isnt hard to pass because most of the content is stuff that you learned in grade school but the class does help remembering the techniques that you learned previously. I decided to take it because there was no other english left I wasn't too sure about blended but after this experience I'd gladly do it again. This class isn't hard the quizzes are mostly vocab and reading. It's matching so as long as you know what story is what and what word is what you'll pass. essays where simple too the last one was long though.

Before taking this class I never understood how to write an essay. I like the way Professor Robinson taught us the format because it worked for the way I learn. Now I'm not saying it was easy, this is one of the toughest classes I've taken. So if you're ready for a hard class that will at times frustrate you but ultimately teach you then take her.

Mrs. Robinson requires you to do 4 essays, various quizzes, the midterm and final. She tells you what you need to study and the online material really prepares you for all the tests. She is a great teacher and I'm taking her for ENC 1102. If you are considering not taking the class because it's a blended course, don't worry, it's awesome!

I thought her class was an easy A. She even sends reminders to let you know when assignments are due or coming up. The only negative comment I can say is that she doesn't really review for her midterms or finals. She pretty much tells you to review everything she has assigned to that point.

Each essay is explained in detail with examples in the book and in Blackboard.

Took Mrs. Robinson for ENC 1101 and ENC 1102 and overall it was a good experience. The blended course is nothing to be scared of. She can be funny and a bit rude at times and is a bit of a tough grader so just pay attention and attend class. The tests are easy, they are basically the sections she tells you to read. Total of 5 essays and 6 tests.

she tries to be funny, her classes go by quick. Don't worry about it being a blended course, all of the homework is online and the quizzes are exactly how the text books are. all quizzes are matching vocabulary, stories and root words. very easy class 4 essays + quizzes, midterm and final.

She's an amazing teacher & extremely understanding. Just do what she assigns and you'll pass

Professor Robinson is a passionate teacher. If you pay attention and read all that She assigns youll definitely pass this class. I took Hernandez for ENC 1101 and liked her so much that got I pickes her for ENC 1102.

Just do what she assigns. Dont be afraid of taking a blended course it was awesome. Overall great teacher and very clear to understand

She is very diffficult when it comes down to passing. YOU MUST PASS HER FINAL AND MIDTERM TO PASS THE CLASS. Theres no exceptions of getting a good grade in class if you dont pass her final or midterm. But shes a very good skilled teacher. So go for it. But you must actually put in work.

Very tough grading but very fair as well. Attending class is a must in order to pass. Keeps you informed on how youre doing and whats coming up. Id take her class again despite getting a C because she challenged me to be better. She does use the textbooks assigned, a whole lot.

Took ENC1101 online over the Summer 8 week course. 4 Essays, a midterm, and the final will determine your grade. You do need 2 of the books: Say it with Style and Collegiate Reader. Discussion board will require some homework and she has some self tests on them. She stated if you do not participate she will drop you. Overall easy class.

Overall good class but you just need to be checking your emails. Uses blackboard for everything and always make sure to be on top of your work. The class is kind of boring but doable. She's nice and super chill.

Took blended Blackboard class. When my work schedule changed Professor Robinson allowed me to attend her other section so I did not have to drop. Kind professor. Definitely recommend.

Teacher used a lot of AR and VR in this blended class. We took virtual field trips to Wynwood and elsewhere using Google Cardboard headsets. Made the class fun. Easy essays. Definitely recommend.

I expected the worst due to the reviews but I honestly loved this class. Since this was a remote class we never met in person. There are 4 essays, 1 exam and a final. They are all fairly easy. You don't necessarily meet with her, just make sure you do the assignments due on the assigned due dates. The essays are interesting topics that I enjoyed.

I mean, she makes you buy her books :/, but besides that, she's a chill, fun, and caring professor. The essays are borderline fun to do and won't require you more than 2h. However, I did learn a lot in that class, even if it was easy.

As long as you pay attention to her lectures and emails and can write a good paper this class will be an easy A. I would completely recommend buying her books as they are very cheap and help a lot. All the work I got was about 5 essays in the format and requirements she asks. Not lecture-heavy and very straight to the point. pay attention!
