Great class, I have always been inseure about my writing, my confidence is much better now. Great Professor.

She is the best. She is very smart, funny, and really teaches you a lot! Unlike all of the other professors who teach you boring, blah blah crap... she teaches you stuff with passion. I love her. She has been VERY good to me! She is the BEST!

She's a very nice and cool teacher. For Comp + Lit 2, there are very easy assignments, and you must have access to the computer every week. As long as you are open and nice to her, it's an easy A.

She is a very good teacher...definately one of my favorites. She is very easy going, allows you to re-do assignments as many times as you want to get the grade you want...I really enjoyed her class. I would take another one of her classes again.

Very good teacher. Made Distance Learning class interesting. Would recommend. Gave students chances to improve grades.

One of the best professors I ever had, really top notch. Her classes are really interesting and Prof Timm creates a really open feeling in the classroom. We used the computer a lot, posting our responses and responding to our peers. She is highly motivated and really wants her students to succeed.

Prof Timm is one of the BEST professors I've ever had. I have taken her in the past and only took this class because she was teaching it. She is very easy going, sweet, clear in what she wants and expects and as long as you do the work you'll get a good grade. She obviously cares about her students and wants them to do well. I highly recommend her!

i took her online and did great, and there wasnt a lot of work.. if u think there was maybe you should drop out of college and learn a trade

at first I thought professor Timm was very weird but time will pass by and you'll see that she is really awesome. Just do the work and you'll get an A.

Prof. Timm is the greatest. She is a little weird but is very clear and she wants to se her students do well. I had a lot of fun.If I had to take another english class I would defiently take her. I highly recomments that u take her she is really easy.

Professor Timm is a great professor she knows her stuff, is down to earth and loves what she does. I am sorry to hear how hard she is online. In class as long as you do and have her assighnments on time you will do well. She is a proffesor I will never forget.

She is a really interesting teacher. Do your text critiques, ALL OF THEM!!, show up for class, participate, and hand in the final paper early so she has time to go over it with u so u have a chance to fix it up.She makes you work hard, but its helpful trust me. I got a B+ and I really liked her a lot. Take her class. That was one of my fav classes

Her classes are so easy if you do all your critiques and her classes are just so much fun. She always gives extra credit. I had her for 3 semesters and if i could i would take another one of her classes. *she loves Poetry!

SHES THE BEST. text critiques are a breeze, never more than 300 words a week. class work is so simple and most of it is just participating. greatest professor on campus and easiest course to get a good grade. if you happen to get a D or C on any paper, you have until the end of the semester to fix it. shes is so helpful and down to earth

She is so interesting! I love her and she is such a intelligent person. I also like how she is honest with her corrections and makes you think differently. And I think it's pretty cool how she knew Allen Ginsberg!

Awesome Professor! Helpful, clear in her instructions and gives great writing guidance. Had her for ENG101 and then Creative Writing. A lot of assignments but if writing is your thing you won't mind. DEFINITELY recommend her!

I admit, *a lot* of work for her online course. An amazing amount of reading, writing, and reviewing other students' work. After I got the hang of it had no problems. She answers emails in a timely manner and makes her expectations clear early. I knew I was going to get an A because I (gasp) actually did the work! You will actually learn from her.

She is a good prof and will grade your paper to help your writing improve. I would highly recommed her

She is a very hearted and friendly professor who gives you a lot of encouragements. You will not have pressure when taking her classes as she is such a interesting poet. You can easily earn the credits from her classes if you finish all the homework.

I have taken three of Timm's classes and I am taking another one this fall. She is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Her class is simple do your homework,show up to class participate and do your final paper and you can walk out with an A. She's so funny and inspiring. I am so happy WCC has someone like her on there staff.

Do the work, get a good grade. She takes a long time to reply to email. No textbook just readings which are all free. Get ready to participate because she makes you reply to classmates postings. Would definitely take again though. Spent maybe an hour a week on this class.

Put in the time and effort and you'll get a good grade. You can resubmit essays and do extra credit. She's very enthusiastic about teaching and loves participation and input. Even if you say something really dumb, she'll encourage you to have your own opinions and try. Definitely would recommend.

Great professor. Gives extra credit, and allows revisions on work to receive a better grade. You need to participate in weekly discussion which has you involved with other classmates and you actually learn from the assignments that are given. I would def. recommend to take her classes and take her again.

Timm is a great prof. she gave readings every week that she provided the link for so no need for a textbook. Responses had to be 300 words . She is big on poetry so for extra credit you can go to a poetry slam in the city up to 3 times. It's actually kind of fun and totally worth the extra credit A on any assignment.

I took her ENG101 course (online) in the Fall 2016. She was very helpful, my only regret was not taking her course on campus. If you are looking to take a course to learn and be able to apply the content, then her ENG101 course is for you. In contrast, if you are looking for a professor to give you an easy A, this professor may not be for you

The online course was a great class that will help you to develop into a better writer. Very manageable and the professor provides great feedback on assignments.

Prof. Timm is so far the best professor I have ever had. She's so caring, inspirational and actually cares about you as a student. I have taken 3 of her courses one in person and two online. I recommend taking her classes online because in class all of her work is in the online course anyway.

Professor Timm will give you everything you need to do the work. Your job is to do the work. This class is an easy A if you put the time and effort into it.

I think she is a great professor! I'm willing to bet all of the negative reviews are slackers who never did the work, came to a close, or were on their phones during the whole lecture. You'll have 12 text critiques and most of them are easy, just look at the rubric, learn from your former mistakes, and it's an easy A. You need to show up to pass!

I had prof Timm the first semester for my ESL class and picked her again this semester for Eng 101. Shes great gives extra credits, gives the chance to revise assignments for a better grade and you can take quizzes multiple times. If you put effort and send homework on time it will be easy to get an A. She even makes you save money: no book !

She is a really nice professor, but definitely not an easy or hard class, it's in between. She wants you to try your best, but be aware she will tell if you read the passages or not so if you're lazy and expecting an Easy A, this class is not for you.

Professor Timm is amazing! You have to do small assignments that are do every Sunday but she is supper helpful. She gives amazing feedbacks and if your not happy with your grade you can redo the assignment (with her feedbacks its easy to get a better grade) She also gives extra credit all you have to do is show up I would defiantly take her again

Professor Timm is a very good professor, who gives very good feedback per each assignment. She allows you to re-do an assignment up to two times to get a better grade (except the final, of course). You have to put in the effort and do the work to want to pass. Be prepared to read and write!

Professor timm gives you a chance to redo your assignments if you got a bad grade and gives you good feedback to make sure you get a better grade. Very organized. You can get a 100% if you do all assignments and listen to her! She assigns her assignments due every Sunday and there is no midterm for this class. I am taking her again for English 102

I loved professor Timm. I personally love writing and she gave us a lot of papers which was a nice break from my STEM work. I got a 100 on all but 2 assignments. she allowed us to be creative and she was so caring. Absolutely loved her class and I wish i could take more english classes with her.

She helps the students to become better students. What the professor did that I consider professional ability is that she could show me my flaws and help me overcome them. She would not be able to do that without conveying materials clearly.

I had a great experience in Professor Timm's class. I learned everything I need to know about writing papers at the college level, especially research papers. Professor Timm has a great personality and made the class very interesting. Would definitely take one of her classes again.

Excellent professor, took her time to explain questions from students, all ways explained the subjects well. Very respectful and gives you the chance to re submit any low grade or missing assignment at the end of the year. If you have any questions make sure to ask sure she mentioned some politics but few words and once a blue moon. Recommend Her
