Probably the best teacher you'll ever have! I took this class because it was a requirement, but she made it clear, easy to understand, and related it all to the real world. At the end of the course she gave out a survey and asked if there was anything she could do to improve her teaching. Nothing! Except teach ALL the classes at Middlesex.

This class is an easy A. Only about four homework assignments. She gives bonus quizzes which give you extra points for your tests, which are easy anyway as long as look over all the definitions. Oh yeah and she's pretty hot too.

Professor Wathen is a well-known professor who makes Economics fun and understandable. She is very nice and the way that she teaches Eco is much better that other professors. I strongly suggest you to take her class. If you study, u defenitly will finish with an A.

By far the best teacher i have ever had at middlesex. I took her for business 101, she made everything so simple & easy to understand. Gives you a lot of chances to get extra points & Her projects require a little writing but are pretty easy, i hated morning classes but didn't mind going to hers. Great professor. Is always willing to help if u need it, but u shouldnt because the material is very easy to understand because of the way she teaches it. Tests are easy, and there are many other ways to do well besides the tests, If ur taking ECO make sure u take her, u wont regret it.

She one of the BEST professor you would find in MCC. Her assignment are easy to do and she gives plenty of time to finish them. She is always helpful and makes every notes easy to understand. She just wants us to think like a well matured college student.

She was a very good professor, very generous in grading students, helping her students. But you cannot review your exam test for enough time in the class to know your mistakes. Overall, if you want to have a high grade, take her class (Bus 101, Eco 201, and Eco202).

She makes sure all her students are doing well, and if you bother to visit her during office hours she will definitely help you pass the course. She gives good amount of homework. Took her for ECO 201 & 202. By far the best professor ive ever had. She literally gives you every possible oppurtunity to attend class. she is very neat with her material. Very sweet and caring. Her classes ALWAYS fill up the first day, so be ontop of registering for her class. I fought til the death to get in her class and it was worth it!!

Ok, she is great optimistic professor. You have to come to class because that is part of your grade,4 test(lowest one dropped), have to do online work(part of grade).The only thing I did not like about her was the way she formatted her test. She would make the test answers very similar to one another,WHICH SUCKED AND DIFFIDENTLY IMPACTED MY GRADE.

I dont know what the big deal is with her. People make her out to be like she just hands you the grade. Her class=Tough. Problem is I dont know how much easier anyone else is. Out of my two years at MCC I must say she's one of my 2 favorite professors of all time! She's a caring professor who pushes her students to do their best. She also has a sense of humor!

She's very nice and helpful, but she goes quite fast, and her tests are hard to study for but she gives out extra credits. She makes you work for it but her personality makes up for it. Drop the final if you have 97.5 average plus one index card for every exam. HW for every chapter but it helps.

It may seem like she gives a lot of work, but really it doesn't take that long to complete all of it & you'll be really glad you did. If you show up, pay attention/take notes, and do the homework, it's not hard to pass. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities and her tests are exactly what you learn in class, no tricks.

Economics is a very tough subject to learn. Professor Wathen is one of a kind, she offers bonus quizzes per chapter and knows her material very well. She will not hesitate to stay after class with you and is extremely nice. The extra credit quizzes are open note, so write down your chapter quizzes in a notebook and keep track of your answers. )

Dr. Wathen is one of the best professors I've had. She's extremely clear about her expectations and she teaches the material well. There are no surprises on the test, the questions are very similar to the examples done in lecture. Would definitely take her again.

Dr Wathen is amazing and was very helpful. Responds to email quickly. Class itself was not hard as long as you do everything and follow the syllabus for deadlines. Final exam is in person despite class being online. Would recommend you take the class with her if you want to take ECO201

Dr. Wathen was one of my best teachers yet. Very clear in her instruction and lays out everything upfront in the syllabus. With each chapter, she literally tells you what to study and which areas to pay close attention to. As long as you pay attention and stay up with her emails and assignments you will easily pass.

One of the best professor I've taken in MCC. She gives you 3 assignment per week. Drops the lowest grade and gives you enough extra credit to help your grades. It cant get any better then this!

Professor Wathen gave reading assignments that explained the concepts and she provided video's of her teaching the topics. That was very helpful since the course was online.

I took this online summer class and it was very hard. It was demanding, but prof. made it feasible for us to have all the materials for each quizzes and tests. She always responded to my emails and was very understanding. She was firm but helpful with any questions you may have. Her online courses were well prepared and provided extra credit work.

Took over winter 25. Class was more of an independent study, mainly reading, powerpoints, smartbooks, HW assignments, no tests only course project that took about 1-2 hours. Must stay on top of work bc this class is fast-paced (4 chapters/week), dedicate about 4-6 hours/chapter so 20 hours a week. Didn't get to interact w/her much but seems nice.

Took ECO-201 with this professor — she was the best! Her lectures were super clear, interesting, and made economics easy to understand. She truly cares about her students' success. I got an easy A while enjoying the class. Highly recommend!
