He's not always easy to understand so you have to ask a lot of questions. He starts out pretty easy in Fall term and steadily increased the difficulty of the work. A good professor, but you have to do your work if you want a good grade. Read the assignment sheets carefully! Make a checklist, it helps insure that you hit all the points.
Greatly oraganized and informative.
Always willing to help if you just ask! :]
The teacher is very helpful but the grading does not make sense. He grades assignment that are abstract in a logical sense. Sometimes the grading is according to his personal preference. This was his first year and he is willing to improve. This is a great class to help you obtain the skills of basic fundamentals you will need for college.
He is always avaiable to help you. I was always able to reach for help.
Awesome Teacher! Nothing to complain about.
Great teacher, great person and makes the class interesting.
He is such a awesome teacher!! Love his class and love his teaching style! Gotta pick this class, tones fo fun!
The professor needs to understand students more...
He's a good professor. Some have trouble understanding what is needed, but it is all detailed in the assignments and sylabus. No suprises. Work load gets a little heave towards the end of the term if you have more than this class, but overall great instructor with a lot of patience.
Good prof. Interested in his work, interested in helping yo learn. The makings of a great teacher!
One of the best professors I've had this year. He really knows what he's doing, I highly recommend him. If you show up, do your work (you don't even have to participate in class, you can make up participation points online)then you're set to pass!
He doesn't give you the answers but he will lead you in the right direction. Good teaching style. Gives weekly quizzes but they are easy if you go to class and read. Overall a very good teacher.
Great teacher, gives clear ideas and instructions to make the work easier. As long as you are in class early and do your work, your set for an A
He is a good teacher. Make sure you read the directions thoroughly. He will dock you off a lot of points if you leave something out.
Dr. Teuscher is awesome and immensly fair. I thought that Dr. Teuscher's class was the best UNST i'd ever taken. I highly recommend him for any incoming freshmen.
Teuscher is a very helpful professor who grades very fairly. He's great and offers a lot of extra credits! Always keeping the class active and fun. ^_^
This was one of my favorite classes this year!
cool guy
Make sure you read the homework assignments before doing them.
I know being on time is definitely something that is mandatory and I was unable to be there on time most of the time. That was my bad, but it is hard working three jobs and going to school full-time. I did the best that I could. I just wanted to let you know. I really did try my best. Thanks for all your help this term. Take care, Julie
great prof.! he rocks! he is awesome!
This professor is the best teacher I've had this year. He works hard to make sure the students understand. He is great, and very helpful! Highly recommended.
He's the best
He is ok. Wastes too much time in class sorting non-academic or specific grade related problems.
not far teacher . he doesnt know what is he talking about in this class..
Overall, good instructor.
Fun Class. Great Professor.
Great professor. Smart man. Make sure you follow the directions on his assignments very closely. Overall, awesome class, awesome professor.
He is a good teacher, you can tell he likes what he does and is always just an email away. He usually responds in less then an hour. Most of the time within 20 minutes. Work load is a bit tough at times. But I would recommend Teuscher.
Great professor, make sure follow directions well or will get marked down on assignments. Very organized and most of all, FUN!
Class was very enjoyable! Assignments & projects were interesting! Very strict policy on attendance, so be in class. Do the work and you'll get a good grade!
Great teacher, wish he could teach all of my classes!
Dr. Teuscher is an amazing instructor. He explains everything fairly clearly, and if you don't understand what is needed you can ask. He clearly knows about what he teaches, and it's clear he enjoys what he does. The only thing about this class I didn't like was the open project on homelessness we did, it was tough to find something he liked.
Very helpful and easy to understand. Teuscher is a great teacher I would recommand you to have him as a teacher. He made my experiences fun and i have also learn a lot from him. GREAT TEACHER!!! ^_^
awsome!
Awesome teacher!!! Great at involving students and getting to know them. Highly recommended.
Managed to make a class that I initially wasn't very interested in more interesting. Great professor!
i love his accent.
knows his****
nice accent
Dr. Teuscher is an awesome teacher. However his hand writing is ilegible and confusing.
really good and useful assignments, just some assignments were piled onto us during major projects as well. maybe different participation methods.
Christof is very open to comments or questions or discussions. He has strict rules but they are almost seamless. He knows what he's teaching and what he wants from you. YOU'd BETTER KNOW IT TOO :)
Christof's got a unique and amazing approach towards things and that surely reflects in this teaching! If you're ready to work hard while to get your imaginative juices flowing, Christof's the professor for you.
Should go little easy on deadlines!
Grading scale needs a change. Assignments will be stacked towards the end of the term. Keep up with his internet moodle and you should be ok. Pretty bias towards certain types of students I wont mention. Overall a fair teacher that tries to make things fun and interesting
Horrible Teacher. I am so happy that he didn't teach the second part of this class. He emphasized non-essential material instead of ensuring we had a general understanding of useful concepts. I would strongly recommend not to take any ECE relate coursed with this professor.
Excellent professor: gives fast paced and exciting lectures about cutting edge material, has a consistent emphasis on what's relevant and important, responds promptly to questions. High energy, with high expectations. I found this class very motivating and would recommend it to anyone with an interest in the future of computing.
Christof is overall a great teacher. He tends to load assignments at the end of the term and makes many things due at the same time. Make sure you follow the directions exactly or you will be marked down significantly. Also, make sure you participate a lot in the class or your grade will go down. Other than that, great professor.
Very understanding of athletic schedules!!! He's always willing to help and makes himself very accessible. Just participate more than you think you have too.
Christof tries to understand us as students and is very helpful. He sticks by his syllabus. If you show up to class and do the work, you'll be fine. Overall great professor to have.
Great teacher. He's fair & practical. He's very approachable; I've never felt intimidated or afraid to go to him for help if I had a problem. He uses a Moodle rather than BBoard :) & posts/receives assignments online, which is more efficient & practical than using paper. He doesn't seem constrained by some of the usual habits of professors.
Great teacher! He understands students and puts a lot of efforts into the class. He's very easy to talk to and always willing to help. You will learn many things that other classes won't teach. If you like hands on activities, take this class;)
AWESOME!
HOTTIE
Amazing teacher! He worked really well with all of us and his projects are fun and interesting. Easy to get a good grade. He used moodle and I really think it helped.
He is a very good teacher, and his accent is hot. makes things very interesting in class.
Mentor session 1 is the best!!
He is very nice. If you have a question he is more than willing to answer it. Just ask and he'll answer. That is easy. His class is really fun and enjoyable which makes the class easy.
Good class very hands on
Very enthusiastic, very engaged, extremely fair, great experience overall.
I definitely enjoy his teahing style.
the Professor mountain bikes!
This class was interesting, but fairly simple. Nothing new from what I learned in High School. Fun projects, though!
Teuscher made himself very available if a student had quetions. His Moodle site was very helpful, he is very organized and very clear about what is due, when it's due, and how to do the assignment/project.
Teuscher made himself very available if a student had quetions. His Moodle site was very helpful, he is very organized and very clear about what is due, when it's due, and how to do the assignment/project.
Great at teaching.
Teuscher was very helpful and replied to my emails very fast, i appreciated his availability very much.
Teuscher was very helpful and replied to my emails very fast, i appreciated his availability very much.
I have enjoyed learning about the design process and hope to continue expanding my knowledge next semester!
Your Awesome!
Very good
I think you are a great teacher. I'm very glad that you were my teacher because I learned so many things like how to be organized and responsible. I hope i do better next term.
Though the course taught was a short introductory course, I would like to thank you a lot for offering it.
My favorite thing about Teuscher is his shirtless Burning Man pictures! And his organization. Mostly the former.
Awesome teacher! He is up to date on all technology. Modern teaching techniques that is all about engaging all of the class. Very little lectures and lots of group projects. Highly recommend this teacher to anyone with a liberal outlook. Overall my Favorite teacher I have had at PSU.
Needs to be more clear on his intructions. students constantly marked down for things that were not known. Says we can always ask questions but it is hard to when we are never given the chance to. Otherwise fun and nice teacher. class is fun and not boring
Great guy, but course fails to reach potential.
Very nice and funny
good job
Very helpful.
Pretty good teacher, very responsive but the content isn't very difficult.
I like the class style...
Very Good!
SWEET
Very nice
go to class or else he will fail you... mentor too
Sometimes unclear with assignments. Interesting accent. Cool teacher.
Great guy. Funny. Average difficulty. Knows his stuff and can make cleR what he knows.
I got all A's except for the B+ that this dingus gave me! I misread one (minor) assignment which dropped my grade 5%. He's not the hardest prof in the world, but he's very legalistic, and that can be frustrating. I'd recommend that you take another Design prof (or talk to advising about getting FRINQ waived)
Christof is a great teacher! You can tell that he has a passion for teaching and a desire to help you learn. I enjoyed the assignments he gives. Although it may be difficult at times, he keeps it interesting and challenging. Another great thing about Dr. Teuscher is that he is easy to communicate with (in person, email, etc.)
The assignments were frequently very vague. Many of them did not seem to relate at ALL to the supposed subject of the course. And, even though it was a "Freshman Inquiry" class, there was too much hand-holding; who needs to spend a week learning how to write a bibliography in college?! All this topped with an unreasonably harsh attendance policy.
Not a bad professor, but I have had more preferable teachers in my high school days.
He has a funny accent.
Christof is a really good professor. It is easy to communicate with him by email or office hours. Also if you email him any assignments ahead of time with concerns or questions he quickly gets back to you with suggestions. Quizzes are open notes, books, and computers and are pretty easy. There is also bonus or extra credit offered.
I think Christof does a great job during the mentor session. Sometimes he is a little unclear about what is to be expected, and I get that it is for the purpose of figuring it out for yourself, however sometimes it can be just generally unclear and not have enough background on the steps to completion.
He's really nice and helpful. He replies to emails really fast and always welcome if you had any questions relate to the homework or projects!
Very respectful and also a fair grader!
He has a cool accent.
Christof is a very interesting and friendly teacher, a great person to learn from if you are interested in computers or engineering.
Christof is a friendly person, but his assignments are deliberately unclear, forcing students to seek him out for clarification. It's frustrating, but also establishes a familiarity with him.
It would help if there was more focus on providing a clear outline of what we are supposed to be learning. Additionally, teaching a class as opposed to making it feel like marketing research. The professor is great as a person but there seems to be a rather large disconnect somewhere along the line as far as communication goes.
Cool guy. His being new to this specific course is obvious though.
very helpfull professor yet vague in his instructions.over all a good professor.
Very nice. Sometimes not very clear, though.
The class did a good job setting the base for what looks to be an auspicious year in Life Unlimited?
He seems like a nice guy, and is interested on what he's teaching, which is always a plus. But his guidelines and instructions on what he wants from the assignments isn't always clear, which is frustrating. But luckily if you have a question he's very quick to respond. At least if you e-mail him.
Well rounded guy. Very nice
OVERALL A GOOD COURSE
I don't think it's important that the professor is hot or not.
This class is easy but boring. We also have quiz every Monday which is annoying. Hate the fishbowl discussion becase he make everyone participate to talk to get points. It is the most stressful thing I ever done in my life. And some of us hate it. It's also a waste of money if you doesn't like this class. Think before you choose.
The way the class is organized is very helpful. He seems interested in what he's showing us and has a desire to convey that interest which is refreshing.
Dr. Teuscher is a very organized professor. He has a very concrete syllabus and posts assignments well in advanced. He is passionate about student's learning and is there to assist you when it is needed.
Dr. Teuscher is a very good professor, however there are times when he doesn't explain the relevancy of some assignments.
Very nice but sometimes difficult to understand his instructions (he will clarify if you ask, though). Doesn't always stick to the subject matter though.
Well constructed course. Well organized.
Very prompt at answering questions. Sometimes vague at give clear instructions. Good public speaker, provides an interesting and well thought out presentation for every class. Very organized.
Great professor
Very fair. Clearly intelligent. Kind and patient. Professor Teuscher is a great person in general and cares about his students!
Christof is a really helpful professor. He is quick to respond to email if you are having trouble with an assignment. There are weekly quizzes that are pretty easy if you do all the readings. It is easy to get an A in this class if you always show up to class and pay attention. Assignments are not too bad, but larger ones require time to complete.
Show up to class. The information we are learning isn't too hard to digest, you just have to be present so you don't miss the busy-work assignments who's grades add up.
Professor is pretty okay with assignments and grading, his classes are a little deadbeat though.
It seems like he actually cares about how his students are doing and that they're learning.
Dr. Teuscher is a great professor. The assignments are really interesting and he does a great job at responding quickly via email during non-class times, for those who need further clarification on assignments and projects given in class.
I think that you're material is great.
It's an interesting class, but I feel that the assignments are more focused on the UNST goals rather than the actual theme of the class. But the class seems to be getting better about that.
Cristof did a good job of communicating his goals for this class and enabling me to succeed! I thoroughly enjoyed this class almost entirely because of the teacher.
Christof was a good professor
Class was more focused than last term, with more connections between each topic. Instructions were also clearer.
Thorough, dedicated, verbal and relatively easy. As long as you pay attention you will be just fine.
While the information presented is useful and sometimes engaging. The way we go about reinforcing it is not. Especially with reflections it seems more tacked on than actually helpful to learning about the subject matter. Although that may just be my personal experience, and it is a skill required to succeed in college (if absolutely nowhere else).
In lectures he is crystal clear, in assignment instructions its a little fuzzy
He's very organized and very prompt at responding to student E-mails and always explains assignments very well.
Fair, and helpful teacher
Great guy but I'm pretty sure he's new to this type of class.
When it comes to late assignments, Dr.Teuscher could be more lenient.
Quality teacher, but the assignments are often very trivial. Too much focus on assignments, not enough on course content.
Great technological focus on the class subject. Very Sci-fi in real life.
Easy class, but it is a waste of time! It is pretty boring. Quizzes are easy and you can use whatever you want. Not recommended if you value your time, effort, and money.
Good professor, confusing at times.
Christof is a fair teacher. As long as you attend class, complete assignments on time, and follow rubrics, you'll get a good grade.
Very interesting class. A lot of new information.
He was a good teacher and made stuff interesting.
He's annoying and I hated his class. He should probably stick to teaching engineering because hes super bland. Plain yogurt has more flavor than him.. sign.
Nice guy, real intelligent.
He's taught and interesting class but sometimes he can be a little vague on what he expects from an assignment.
God I wish this wasn't required. I don't have that much to say. This FRINQ is a class in its infancy and it showed across the board. If I had to do it all again, I would rather have taken this class when the lesson plan was mostly figured out to the point where we weren't surprised with new bits of info halfway through the term.
He is very strict in the things he says. He will not admit any fault of his own and creates assignments where it is hard to place any blame on him.
Dr. Teuscher is overall a very good professor. He is very clear with what he wants and is always quick to deliver feedback and comments.
Teuscher really makes you learn about yourself more than anything. The topics in this FRINQ were very interesting, but the independence that was given in the course was something that helped more than anything. If you push yourself and focus, you will do well no question.
Great job!
He is a very nice teacher. Although, his lectures are boring and he assigns a lot of busy work when you could be working on bigger projects. It also feels like he assumes that this class is the only one that you have when it comes to group projects and meeting up with others.
Not as difficult as I expected
Christof is very open and engaging and really appreciates and expects class participation.
He is cool, very helpful and gives enough time for preparation.
Fun class and super excited to continue with it next term.
Pretty easy class, pretty lenient professor. He pushed back due dates on assignments when students asked him to. Always wanted people to use his office hours if they needed help.
This class was really fun and I hope to be as captivated this term as I was this term.
It seemed that we spent a lot of time on busy work. However, he is a good teacher. Lectures can be kind of boring. But there is a good amount of visual projects.
Isn't easy to approach.
Good approach to difficult questions, however, the questions are very broad so the discussion follows a circular pattern often going back to the original question.
Umm... in regards to teaching i have no complaints whatsoever, heck i can't think of anything that needs changing, FRINQ was my favorite class this term!
Interesting teaching strategies. Attempts to prepare students for courses far ahead of their level.
Good teacher and very understanding.
Great teacher with a good personality. Class has been very fun and interesting so far.
This professor was easy to get along with and very helpful if you ask him any questions. He will respond to emails very quickly and is super easy to talk to one-on-one.
He's easy to listen to and understand the lectures. If he wants to get a point across, he will railroad the discussion a bit by responding to the student's words a bit harshly, giving it as a mean interpretation. All of his assignments are pretty relaxed, and they are due at a consistent time, and easy to complete within the given time.
Dr. T is an intelligent and awesome teacher! Love the way he has his class Life Unlimited structured.
I don't think he explains his assignments well.
He shows lots of powerpoints.
Good guy!
Some of the group projects were difficult and he has a float together sink together mindset. You better hope you get paired with good partners.
He did not explain his assignments well, and there was far too many group projects for my liking. But for the most part, he meant well and was understanding of most problems and does try to help when actually asked.
He is the worst and I hate myself for sticking with the class. I wanted to get hit my a car everyday on the way to class.
Prof. Teuscher is a hard and tough teacher, with that toughness, overall he is an excellent teacher. He helped me realize that education in college is very important, he taught me how to be a successful student, and he helped me during my rough times when I wrote my research papers.
Clear about instructions. Was consistent and was helpful. Many topics covered, was clear about that it's not an easy class, made you think. Wonderful
not very clear on what he wants you to do. still have no clue as to what I'm supposed to be learning in this class
The class is very interesting and all assignments are interrelated which is very helpful for larger assignments. Teuscher is very intelligent and his feedback is great!
He is very passionate about his field and tries to reflect that on his students.
Overall Tuescher is a give/receive type of professor. You receive the grade that you turned in. The class he teaches is very in depth and knowledgeable. If you plan to succeed, do as he says, not as you have done in high school, take it from me. Also, if a person rates Teuscher lowly, it's probably because they failed on their own terms.
Christof sets up his class very wee, the online section the lectures and the mentor session all work very well together and the expectations and assignments are very clear. He is incredibly knowledgeable and he is very respectful of different opinions. Overall I would recommend this teacher!
Overall the class was average, he had one unclear assignment which kind ruined the experience for me.
Very tech-oriented approach to the subject matter, overall a very good teacher
Sometimes is difficult to understand his instructions for assignments (especially with the Game of Life)
Christof is a very smart man but the way he teacher makes it seem like he is over qualified to be teaching a freshman class. He is not very understanding and is difficult to communicate with.
His class is harder than others, in my opinion. So if a person wants a challenge then this is a good professor to have. If you are not a great student then it might be better to look for a different professor and class.
Going to class is only mandatory on Mondays, because those are the days quizzes are on. Most assignments are done online on D2L.
So boring. Only reason i show up are for the quizzes and discussions in class that are counted as points. Hes doesn't make it clear enough on what he wants on the assignments, its just a pain.
He is straight forward and sets his class out clearly but you don't spend class time learning whats relevant to the homework and there are a lot of online submissions that are easy to forget. The class is called 'Life Unlimited' but I couldn't have felt more limited...I don't have a deeper understanding or insight on life.
As a biology major, I enjoyed the content of this course. There is A LOT of science involved (cells, evolution). We spent most of the class time trying to define and figure out the meaning of life from a scientific approach. This was not your typical "english" class. It is more like a science based philosophy class.
Class is a little bit boring, but I think in a way he has helped me here and there with the projects but I think he needs to explains things better
Confusing at times, but no too hard.
He is straightforward but not at all clear about what he wants an assignment to look like until after the assignment has been turned in. He is very hard to speak to and is NOT understanding in any way.
It seemed like we spent 3 weeks clarifying the syllabus and course expectations rather than actual course content.
The expectations of assignments are sometimes confusing and hard to follow.
Very down to business in class, often times humerus however. Is willing to further clarify, help, and improve students learning if they took the initiative to ask for help.
he is a great teacher to take for a frinq class!
He's pretty unsympathetic in grades.
This is a very interesting class. The course load is pretty heavy, so make sure you know how to manage your time. Be prepared to discuss major topics frequently.
Christof fails when it comes to helping students and understanding expectations of projects. It is clear he needs to perform better and have a more professional attitude as an advisor.
I had Christof for Life Unlimited and I think that most people would say he isn't a good teacher but I have to completely disagree. He is well overqualified and has done AMAZING things in his professional career. Most didn't like him because he actually challenged them intellectually. His class changed my life and I would recommend him to anyone.
really moody
Lots of homework and the criteria is unclear. Try to start the assignment way ahead of time so you can ask him to give feedback on it beforehand.
Moody, unpredictable. Changes coursework in the middle of the night via email, just hours before due. Do the reading on your own before lecture. Lectures are dry, and he mumbles. Don't bother with office hours, he will tell you to leave. Keep your head down and don't ask for help.
Took ECE585, but really liked ECE586. Challenging final project, yet a great learning experience. Teuscher helped me a lot with feedback on the final project report. He also set up Slack for quick questions. Compare to many faculty, he does reply to e-mail quickly. Ask for help and you'll get it. Tough tests and grader, yet treats everyone equally.
The courses I took under Teuscher were really challenging and hard . He is really strict when it comes to his code of conduct and a tough grader but he treats everyone equally. His projects, though vague at start eventually helped to clear many of my concepts which also helped in final exams.
The classes are interactive and be ready to learn and read a lot. The journey will be amazing!!
The class assignments helped me in doing comprehensive research on novel topics related to subject. The regular class quizzes enabled me to study regularly and stay on top of the subject preparation. The final class project was challenging and I got an opportunity to implement my theoretical knowledge to a real world problem.
Projects are challenging and at the same time they are not crystal clear.
I wouldn't recommend him for any class. He is moody and unpredictable. If you cannot avoid him, don't bother with office hours or lecture. Read any books or watch anything on-line if you can.
This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. This class is hell and this man will do anything he can to not take responsibility for his awful set up. He is rude and a tough grader, you take pointless quizzes, and have to work hard for a C. Being stuck in this class all year has made me STRONGLY consider transferring schools.
This freshmen course is ridiculously hard. His expectation is not clear and he would tell you do what you want (but then takes points off because that's not what he wants). Many group projects, and they suck because if your partners screw up, you will receive the penalty too. A writing class with both final exams and final essays.
Though I do agree that he's a tough grader and his class is very assignment heavy, if you're participating in class he'll do what he can to see you succeed. Beware of his attendance policy though, he marks you down for being late so try not to have his class be your first of the day. (Especially if you're commuting) Enjoyed his class though!
Coursework: Presentations, group projects, group discussions, papers All work has an assignment sheet with all requirements for full credit. Just have to read, must be hard for people here. If there is any confusion it is very easy to email or set up an appointment to seek help. Attendance Don't go to college if you don't want to show up for class.
Hes a great professor. Doesn't coddle students like many other professors. Treats you like an adult and expects you to act like one. Hes very passionate in seeing his students succeed if you put in the work. He is easily accessible outside class. Be ready for a heavy/rewarding workload. Don't take his morning class if you cant be on early/on time!
I don't appreciate the way Prof. Teuscher interacts with the students sometimes. I also disliked the mentor sessions, they were not helpful. However the course content is interesting. It's not the hardest class in the world but it is very work heavy.
Had him for the full covid year, he was great and super understanding of student problems, even if sometimes it took the mentor helping to get that across. Lots of group work after the first term. Treats his class like a team that he cares for. Always willing to help even a year later.
Couldn't have had a worse professor. He will change the curriculum last minute and will not provide adequate support. Even his TA was always confused by his teaching style and assignment changes. The actual in-person class never correlates with the assignments he posts. 10/10 would not recommend.
Very harsh on attendance, if you miss one class, your whole grade goes down 2 letter grades. Don't take this class, very boring and talks way too much.
The worst professor that I have worked with. Does not love his students, and does not care for them. prevents Students from getting an A from the class even if they work hard.
This professor says he treats his students like adults but it's more like he thinks he runs a business and we're trash that he can push his crap on,he's not very considerate for those that has to pay to stay in college literally couldn't care less. Expects us to treat his class serious when he doesn't teach anything as a so called college professor
You won't learning anything important for the amount of stress this professor puts you through.
This class is easy but boring if you can show up every day for class and get your assignments in. However, don't bother trying to get any leeway if you are having issues that are getting in the way of the class or generally are having a rough time. He does not care and he will speak down to you if you try and talk to him. Equality, not equity.
Tricky class, but Unstuck study ai and staying on top of assignments can help. The prof is hit-or-miss - engage in class for best results. Avoid expecting much flexibility if you're struggling.
Literally the worst experience of my life. Ruined my entire first year of college.
Work is manageable with clear expectations. Won't budge on deadlines, but his timeline for the term is very fair. Docks points for late work, but also gives extra for early work. Go to office hours if you're struggling, he isn't keeping any secrets about how to succeed in his class. Please go to class! UNST157 is a breeze if you actually show up.
This course is really helpful for any grad students and all the course materials are really organized and resourceful. The Professor was really helpful and provided clear feedback on every assignment. I felt encouraged to communicate any issue I was facing regarding assignments and the feedback helped me a lot to understand the material perfectly.
All the material that is been covered in this course is essential to help the graduate students learn how to formally write a thesis or a research paper. The professor is eager to help and provides clear instructions and expectations if you ask for help.
Easy class but incredibly rude, unprofessional and defensive professor. Class felt like a waste of time and even in his responses below you can see his unwillingness to deal with criticism which is even more prevalent in the classroom. Avoid this class if you actually want to learn anything useful.
Great preparation for doing serious academic work. The feedback he gives is very clear, helpful, and honest. Overall good experience!
Professor is very focused to make sure the student gets clear idea about lecture topic and always gives positive feedback
Run. Don't do it.
