Dr. M is a great, compassionate funny guy. He gave me a love for Science and an understanding for Human Anatomy. He was ALWAYS there to explain the materials whenerver I needed him (which was always). He makes the class fun and exciting. I would totally take him again. He's teaching 20A & 20B apparently in the Fall 2008. He's also "Eye~Candy"

I LOVE this professor. He:s funny, smart, organized and obviously cares about his students and the human body.I have learned so much from this class.I can only hope that he teaches the next section. He records all of his lectures and puts them and lots of helpful info on the web to help you teach yourself outside of the lecture. It totally helps!

He's the best instructor I've had to date! He makes the material fun and easy to understand. He always makes time to answer all his students questions. Exams are quite easy and he's very lenient with HW assignments. My advice: definitely take him if you need any Bio classes.

Dr. M was my first college instructor and my favorite one, he always tries to explain everything and makes it easier for you to understand in many different ways just in case you didn't understand it at first. Professor 'Doc' Muehlinghaus provides a good first experience with Biology. During his lectures he provides good tips on remembering the content and homework is reasonable. He brings real life and A&P together, creating a less intimidating learning environment. You will LOVE the sections on Muscles!

Dr. M truly cares about his students; he is clear in his grading criteria and his expectations. The preview questions, due before each lecture, are beneficial. Most of all, he lectures directly from his lecture slides and everything that is on the exams can be found in the material provided to you. There are no "surprises" with this professor.

DOCMULI is THE BEST! you dont need the boring text book he makes his own books less reading more pics. he records his lectures so you can view them any homework is EASY,tests are EASY does an EXCELLENT job in preparing you for ALL the tests. he is outgoing, hes funny and is overall a GREAT teacher! Muehlinghaus is wonderful, he explains everything in multiple ways making it easy to digest. He introduced a new way of teaching his class on canvas with quizzes, the incredible textbooks that he created himself (super visual), understanding concepts, in-person lectures and lots of hands-on lab work! You will have to study for this course, but he lays out all the material for students success. He posts videos prior to tests that tell you exactly what to study. Prof Muehli is the best! He is friendly, available for whenever you need support and very knowledgeable on this topic. He is also a chiropractor so he really does practice what he preaches. He created booklets instead of the usual text book that really breaks down the functions of our bodies systems. He is very funny! Super understanding!

After taking his class I wish my calling was nursing/physical therapy or nutrition. He makes things make sense. He is the best professor hands down out of all of my junior college experience. It was very adaptable to now being online, as he has all lectures recorded in multiple different formats. i appreciate that he had different types of resources/entry points for learning the material. fun way to learn!

Taking this course during COVID was refreshing because Dr. M provides pre-recorded videos of the material well in advance and is always accessible. There are no required textbooks because he has created easily digestible booklets for each lecture and quiz. I would definitely recommend! Taking another course with him in the Fall!

Physiology (BIOL23) w/ Dr. Muehlinghaus benefited my medical career! He created the content/texts which include diagrams and videos he made that you can scan and pull up with your phone. He presents in a clear, concise, illustrated manner! This class helped me prepare for the MCAT! Dr. Muehlinghaus makes it so digestible/fun to learn at your pace!

He is one of my favorite teachers. He helped me through so much and even did extra credit. We need more teachers like him that helps students especially with people who need accommodations. I would take his class over and over !

There is a lot of work but professor gives more than ample deadlines. If you keep up with most of the modules/homework/labs & attend optional lectures then the exams are not that stressful. Professor makes a note to remember students names and is good at remote learning and very accessible if you need help.

Mr. M is hands down the BEST biology teacher out there. His handbooks and materials are million times better than textbooks. He is very cooperative, helpful and straightforward. The material isnt difficult if you dont let it pile up. He holds zoom sessions and makes himself available for students. Recommend him over any other Professor!

Professor M. has done what many other professors have overlooked. He condensed the class material into his personal booklets. The made the class far more enjoyable and engaging. The section are divided by booklets, and you dont have to start and skip through a text book. Lectures are very helpful. He is a overall understanding and caring person.

I took this professor at Merced College for anatomy. His booklets are short right to the point with visuals. Materials consist of quizzes, labeling wkshts, activities and tests (not cumulative). He believes in visual learning rather than looking through a big textbook. You can contact him through text. He is very flexible on deadlines.

Professor offers booklets instead of a textbook to help with the course. The booklets were a bit difficult to take notes from since it's already paraphrased, but they are useful to read along with YouTube vids. Tests are open notes and unlimited tries on quizzes! Overall a very fun teacher!

I loved Professor M. He cares about his students + is very accessible outside of class. Always responds to texts quickly + is there to help if you have any questions. He provides booklets with pretty much all of the information you will need. There are unlimited attempts for the quizzes + no time limits. I would def take a class from him again.

Dr. M is one of the best professors I've ever had!!!!! Not only is he really considerate of his students learning the material, but also of their well-being. I took his PHYS class which was 6 weeks long (usually it's whole semester long), but he made it so organized & accessible. Yes it's a lot of work, but it's also VERY easy if you keep up! :)

Dr. M is an amazing teacher and he helped take a vary large topic and complied it into understandable chucks. It was a lot to cram into a 6 week summer course but he made it happen. What I enjoyed most was that he told us to focus on understanding the concepts and from that, the terms would come. He was absolutely right!

OMG, this guy!? Love this class soo much. attendance wasn't required but I showed up anyways. This professor is amazing, talented and caring to his students. HE IS THE BEST PROF I HAVE EVER HAD. Instead of textbooks, he made little note booklets that you buy. I took this class last year and I still use those booklets today they're so helpful! You can tell he put SO much work into them. He is funny too. I am not kidding when I tell you he is the best prof I have had throughout my whole college career.

Professor M teaches with enthusiasm and really tries to set students up for success. You can expect a lot of reading and memorization, but it is doable and he responds promptly to questions via email or thru Pronto chat. Dr. M sets up this course and material for different learning styles. He makes himself accessible for any questions or help. He does his best to simplify the course work which consists of a lot of terminology, making easier to retain and digest. Definitely recommend Dr. M and hope I'm able to take another of his courses in the future.

Dr. M was a great teacher for my Anatomy and Physiology class. It was completely asynchronous, but I learned a lot from the lectures. He puts in a lot of thought for his students and it is really easy to contact him for questions. Accessible material spans from videos to notes of the lecture itself. Dr M is a passionate and fully engage teacher. His desire to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for learning was clear in everything he did. There are a lot of assignments, but there is intention in what he is doing: making the subject matter relevant to our daily lives. Dr M ignited my curiosity every step.

In person labs were optional but very educational to visual learners. Zoom meetings were held but not mandatory and are recorded for later viewing. Lots of homework each week but very doable and not difficult.

He is so kind, approachable, with sense of humor and respectful. He is working so hard to help us to understand the material. He makes his class so appealing.

Prof. M is an amazing, he is truly passionate about anatomy & physiology and he truly care about his students. This class was online and with optional labs every week.The class does have a lot of assignments so be prepared to watch lecture videos and read the text book but prof.M make his class accessible for everyone I highly recommend his class

Best professor ever! The workload was manageable & I learned a lot through my interactions w my peers. His booklets illustrate complex concepts in a way that is useful for everyday life. The term lists for the label/coloring assignments were not too extensive- they covered the main body parts that are essential for understanding how bodies function

This class was well organized with all the lessons, assignments, etc. This is one of the best classes I have taken and planned out well enough for me to understand what I am learning. I learned more than I expected; identifying the body parts, their purpose, placement, etc. Dr.M did an excellent job putting this course together. Go him!!!

Accolades for the organization and presentation of this class. Coloring was my least favorite. BUT, I remember that Dr. M said it slows the mind down and true, it was kind of relaxing coloring my pages during Sunday Football. Various learning modalities employed engage different learning styles: visual, auditory, reading/writing and kinesthetic! :)

I have learned a lot from this course. I felt like it was pretty fast paced, maybe because I haven't been in school for so long. I have to be honest; I didn't like all the extra things we needed to do on top of our main subject. But when I did it, I end up liking it because of what I gain from it. Overall, it was a great class.

This journey has been a rollercoaster, a lots of topic to cover. However, Dr. M's booklet and videos were extremely helpful! Professor M's BIO24 class was engaging and informative. Lectures were well-structured, and the assignments, though challenging, reinforced the material. unstuck study proved a helpful study tool alongside the textbook. Overall, a worthwhile course.
