It is my second day and I dont like him at all, he assigns so much hw and you have to keep up with postings and he has strict deadlines. And very serious and boring and not helpful.
He's easy, and you do have to keep up with discussion boards which we have to post twice every week.
This was a pretty easy class. There is quite a bit of busy work though. Discussion board topics, reading, group project, and the employment portfolio. I started the semester feeling frantic but it all came together in the end. It's just an intimidating class at first.
pretty chill class. lots of busy work but not bad.
Class is freakin easy.. What else can you ask for. EASY A.. Axtell is great, he doesnt really care, and he admits half the stuff is pointless but is required by the department. Almost everyone in the class got an A. Great teacher
The class isn't that hard but there is a lot of work that needs to be done. There are quizzes about every week but they aren't bad as long as you know the format. Axtell will help if asked and in general is a good teacher. Sometimes he can be a bit snooty on some issues.
he is chill not hard, comes off intimidating...but hes cool..at first I thought I'd fail the class but got an A and didn't really put much effort, and I'm not just saying this cuz I got an A but he really isn't that bad, just keep up with the work and review b4 class and you should be ok! Take him!!
Don't recommend! Lots of work (in and out of class but mostly out of class), won't know your grades till very end of semester (so it's hard to know how to improve), weird personality, and overall dreaded going to class. Take someone more organized & less busy work.
the material was kind of boring and there was a lot of writing but he was pretty cool. he seemed scary at first but turned to be very helpful.
I thought the class was cool. Would of liked less writing but the teacher was chill.
This teacher is okay. Just stay on his good side. He has a lot of assignments, and one semester long project which sucksssss (group project too). Has multiple tests, not too bad. Just do what he wants even if you don't write that way, you'll get better grades. But, you cant pass the class if you dont pass the final!!!
He isn't half bad. He is straightforward with what he wants. If you do what he says, it's easy to pass the class. He is nit-picky about grammar, but in the business world, you have to be. There is a lot of in-class group work, which is nice. Assignments are super easy, there are just a lot of them. Read the book and you're set.
He is very helpful and fair. Just do exactly as he says you and you will get a grade you deserved!
Go to EVERY CLASS! you earn points in every class meeting so don't skip out. He lets you out early sometimes too. Lots of group writing assignments. He cares for format mostly, but not very much content until the end of the course. There a semester long report that is fairly hard but its not that bad. Ten homeworks are easy.
This class entails alot of work. It's probably the class that I worked the hardest in. There's always quizzes, assignments, reports, tests every week. His class is enjoyable and he makes himself very clear, and he's a pretty funny guy. But he does not curve at all. I got an 89.785 in his class and he left me with the B+ instead of the A-. :(
There is way too much work for this class. It should be a 4 unit course. I liked that we used current events for memos and class discussion. Tough grader. Doesn't really lecture much. Lots of "hands on" work. Very fast paced course.
An easy class if you are a good writer. If English is your second language, or if still have problems with writing, he is not teacher for you. You will have to get a writing tutor if you struggle with his tests and papers. Workload: 2 group projects, 1 report, 4 tests, and weekly misc assignments. He does not curve grades & you must pass the final.
The workload is a bit much, but you eventually understand that he assigns several hw assignments and quizzes to prepare you for the exams. He's mono-toned and sounds boring at first, but he can be quite funny and cracks jokes at times. Don't slack off and attend class. With effort, you can get a B. I would take him again.
Very confusing at first, but starts to make sense as you go. His jokes are kind of funny and make everyone laugh. Assignments are not so hard but his prompts (both verbal and written) are confusing, so you will have to put a little more effort to understand that what needs to be done. Overall a good teacher. You can take him without getting hurt=)
The teacher is amusing and keeps the class and material entertaining. However, he isn't entirely clear on homework assignments and expectations. Ask a lot of questions and apply his feedback to all future work. The class is not easy and will be especially challenging for ESL students and those who are not strong writers to begin with.
He is funny and helpfull. Don't need to read book. Have 2 presentations. Almost my classmates passed this class.lol
May seem a little intimidating at first but he is actually quite nice. Willing to help and has a good sense of humour. May be a little strict but as long as you do as instructed and ask when you are unclear, you will be fine. Wouldn't mind taking him again.
Harsh grader. I feel like this class was a waste of my time. I really did not learn anything. I never got a C in writing before. His assignments/feedbacks are not clear. He never follows the syllabus. If you love writing, take his class. If English is your second language, go take some other professor who actually lets you re-do your work.
Class was not terribly difficult, just a lot of work and time. He was a tough grader, but as long as you do as he says and correct your writing style to his liking then you will be fine. I worked hard all semester and walked away with a B.
Awesome teacher. I was wait-listed as # 5 and he said that he hasn't really seen anyone who is # 5 and higher getting into his class. I talked to him and he understood my situation right away and took me. He has a great sense of humor and makes everyone laugh all the time. He is cool but also asks for professionalism - just like in the real world.
Probably one of the most inconsistent, unclear, unorganized, and confusing teachers I have yet to have. He assigns multiple writing assignments at once and fails to explain them. There are multiple writing assignments due every class. Everyone I talk to in this class says the same thing: CONFUSING. Do not take this professor.
for this class the tough part is that its consistent work the whole semester. I still dont have him figured out, but he hates stupid people who dont follow directions.I love it when he talks shiit on the groups after they present when they leave the room.I'd take him again, its not like accting or cacl where you can feel helpless, follow directions
Very unclear. Took half the semester to hand out all the assignments from the first part of the semester. If you have a question about your paper, he wants you to be specific as to what you need help with. So in other words, you have to know what is wrong with you paper so you can ask him what is wrong with your paper... Make sense?
he grew on me throughout the semester. if you dont understand what he wants, email him and he will explain it to you clearly. there is a lot of work, 2 group projects, and 3 tests and a final. i did pretty well and he appreciates that you recognize your mistakes and dont make them on future assignments. id take him again.
Hard teacher. This was the only class available so it left me with no choice. I regret taking this professor as well as my fellow classmates who dropped this class because of his hard grading. If you are looking to get a good grade, good luck because he is a difficult grader. Tries to be funny, but his jokes are lame. Take someone else to pass.
Adhere to the structure given and you will do well. Your opinion(critical thinking) and how well you can write is what it come down to. It is a required class so don't mess around. Understand that the professor is in fact smarter than you yet he definitely appreciates wit. Good Luck
He's alright, but his grading is very confusing. It's not consistent. With all the exams, presentation, and corporate report we did, it seemed unfair that if you don't pass the final, you don't pass the class. Kind of pointless to do everything else.
Not Clear about what he wants. Never seen a 100% or even 95% given for anything. very stingy at giving points. need to work 3 times as hard than you might in an actual bus writing class. take it to pass and move on BUT don't expect to get the grade think you should recieve. (on anything)
His class was not as bad as people say, I did fine and I am not an A student. Most people around me that complained about him and their grades waited until the last minute to work on their paper or didn't read the prompt correctly on the exams. Try that in any class and you'll have problems.
Read case studies and follow directions and you will do fine. Start the project early to save yourself a headache. First exam tricky, the rest are same format and much easier. Getting an A on them is possible. Being able to write well will save you in this class. Attendance not mandatory but extremely helpful. Get out early most days.
Since English is my second language I was intimidated by this class and his expectations. However, he is approachable and answers his emails quickly. I had a C+ but it was my fault for being absent. Even if assistance is optional don't miss any classes. Memorize the format, be on top of your group project and you will be fine.
He is very intimidating, and when I asked him questions, he made me feel stupid for asking. Group project is tedious, but aren't they all? What I do like about him is that he cares about the quality of the material you write over amount of pages you turn in.
Professor will let other students influence your grade. Not approachable and intimidating and always irritable. Do not recommend if you like a nice learning environment.
This class consists of homework weekly, and two presentations. Tons of work, but in the end it'll come together. Professor is clear on the assignments and what he wants.
Dry Humor, Rambles, but pretty funny. Weekly homework, easy tests, group project. Pretty average class.
I really liked this teacher. His humor is an acquired taste, but very funny. You have to put work into the projects, but as for the tests, you just have to be a good writer. There is no "template" to follow, you just have to analyze situations and write about them articulately. It was pretty easy.
Professor Axtell confused me. Here I am a month after the semester and I'm still unclear on how to write an "A" grade case analysis. In addition, he's impatient when it comes to answering questions and doesn't seem genuinely interested in us students. Teaching is clearly not his passion.
I took this teacher for both of my business writing classes. He is not an easy teacher, but he is very good. I received an A- in both classes and worked very hard for both of them. I learned so much that I feel it was worth it. There is a ton of work and you need every point if you want an A. He is hard, but not impossible.
Good teacher IMO. Class was easier than expected. Exams are easy if you know how to write and use critical analysis. Project is a lot of work, start early. If you are ESL student, make sure to review your grammar. Overall, I recommend taking his class for BUAD 301.
typical assignment load from what i heard from others. had fun, group stuff in class, paper for teams. light homework, get a good group. projects long and needs good team or fail. exams on case redings, need to know the format suff but some. ig ot better at fast writing with making the points. stays back a little but helps good on project
Overall alright, just completely unmotivated to teach. Harsh grader. Seems like a laid back person but is completely different when it comes to grading. Unclear of what he really expects from you. Would be a great teacher if he showed more passion for his job and tried to motivate others more. Would not recommend unless you want to work hard for it
One long group project assignment with a presentation. Make sure to chose your group members wisely. Very tough grader. Getting an A is extremely hard.
Professor Axtell is very helpful. However, he feels that the material is self explanatory, so you need to use his office hours. He will let you practice the exams over and over so you will get an A if you do the work. Make sure you read take notes and follow the instructions.
Overall a really good professor. He was very clear about what to expect for exams and how to do homework. Gives a lot of feedback on your exams and homework so you can improve. He is a tough grader, so be prepared to work hard for your grade. I would definitely take him again.
3 Exams and a final, online weekly knowledge checks, Long 20 page Group Report, and one final team presentation on the report. Not a lot of work in this class besides the group project, but you complete it in parts throughout the semester. Professor Axtell is a tough grader, but gives good feedback. Fix your mistakes and you will earn a good grade
terrible teacher. avoid as best you can!! very hard grader and is very unclear in what he wants. the group project is a pain since you start it the first day of class. He is very unapproachable and is very rude to students. Makes fun of you for asking questions
It took me a while to figure out what he was looking for. He despises wordiness. The key to success in his class is to BE CONCISE. I feel like I learned a lot. Pay close attention to the syllabus and directions for each assignment. If you don't follow directions, he dings you for it. If you do what he asks, you will do well. He's very funny.
Laid back guy with a good sense of humor, but don't be fooled, its not an easy class. From day one you start on a massive group project, so pick members carefully. His "feedback" seems more condescending than constructive and he's a hard grader. In my experience asking for directions left me more confused than before. Teaching is not his passion.
Avoid this teacher. Hard grader and gives little feedback on how to improve your grade. He's not approachable at all so good luck asking for help
Stop trying to read between the lines of his instructions and start writing clearly and CONCISELY. CONCISE is a major key. Start early on the group project. Take the HW assignments seriously because the points add up. He can be mistaken for a bad teacher but there's a method to his madness and I actually learned how to write more effectively.
Don't take him, you've been warned.
Professor is hard but fair and clear on what he wants when it comes to the papers that are written in class. There is a group project that you work on from the first day of class so choice of seating matters as does showing up to the first day.
He's a tough grader. Most of my assisgnments got C or C-. Expect a lot of reading. The good thing is that he's fair to everyone. I was almost fail the class but the group project and presentation gave me a chance to pass the class.
Axtell is a great professor.. He gives clear instructions on how to complete an assignment and prepares you ahead of time for all exams. Aplia homework is a bit time-consuming, but the reading and homework is easy and it helps you understand the chapter. Group project is very fun! I recommend this class to all students.
I cannot stress how strict he is at docking points off every single little detail! Even one little grammar mistake on an essay is a big no-no! It shouldn't be a big deal! Plus, he only allots very little partial credit! Do yourself a favor. Avoid and go find a better professor!
Overall, he is a great professor with lear grading criteria. His class is kinda boring and sometimes short. Homework on Aplia, and many letter exams which are kinda easy.
Your team can bring your grade down significantly - double check everyone's work, or just do everything yourself if you want good grades in those areas. Very harsh grading on tests. Add specifics to your analyses and you get marked down for being too wordy; minimize specifics and you get marked down for not having enough.
If you have a medical condition and need accommodations DO NOT TAKE him. He is an alright teacher, but he is very difficult to work with. He teaches a decent class, but needs to learn that he is not ABOVE EVERYONE and that calling students out for whatever he feels like is unethical. I hope he learns to be more compassionate.
If you don't get his sense of humor you're not going to like his class but loosen up and he's not so bad. He is a tough grader but if you know what he likes its easier to get the points. Group project is annoying but aren't they all. Mildy annoyed I got an 89.69 and it counts as a B probably bc of some mindless deductions on a test for no reason
It's not a tough class it's just that he grades very hard. There is usually 2 homework/reading assignments a week, but attendance is not mandatory so as long as you read you can get by without going to class, sometimes. He's a very monotone dry guy, overall he is an ok professor.
Professor Axtell kind of seemed like he would rather be anywhere but in class. If you can get over that & just focus on the content, he's incredibly informative. His class was difficult & required work + time, but this is college, get over it. Work hard on the group project. I took his night class & he let us out early often, which was nice.
Theres only 5-6 in class writings (memos/letters) that are easy if you just follow the guideline in the cengage book and the rest your grade depends on the career assignment (2 paragraphs about a workshop, upload a resume, do a fake interview) and hw on the chp on cengage. 1 LONG group writing choose your team wisely since you have to research ALOT
He's a tough grader. For the in class exams, he only gives you one hour to do two pages. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HIM!!
Tough grader. Makes poor jokes that he thinks is funny when its actually rude.
Professor Axtell is a tough grader. Make sure you choose your group wisely from the start because the group project is worth a lot. If anything, AVOID AT ALL COST!
Make sure you have a good group for the group project and make sure to hold everyone accountable. Also, for his exams just be straightforward and leave out jargon. As other people said, be DIRECT AND CONCISE and make sure you write the way he wants you to.
Be CLEAR and CONCISE and you should be ok. If you're looking for an easy A do not take him. If you're looking to improve your writing then this is the professor to take.
Professor Axtell is a tough grader, but gives really good feedback during office hours. Choose good group partners because your grade relies heavily on how you do on that paper. He comes off as really boring, but he has a dry sense of humor.
He's a funny guy and gives excellent feedback after exams. Pay close attention to the formatting and the writing strategies that he goes over in class. You must use those on the exams. The book is really useful. I'd recommend buying it and keeping it after the class.
Choose your teammates wisely. Your grade heavily depends on the team paper! You will spend 30+ hours/per week outside of class on the paper as well as preparing for the exams. All exams have the same structure, so stick to the professor's instruction and you will do fine. The course textbook and Business Writing Handbook are very useful.
pay attention , make to read the reading assignments , and if you actually try it should be an Easy A . He is straightforward about what will be expected on each exam, even gives practice exams before each one. He is also clear about how he will be grading your assignments and projects. Group Project is fairly easy if you follow instructions.
I regret taking his class, the toughest grader I have ever had. I consider myself a really good writer, but this guy takes it to an extreme level. Has a really dry personality as well.
I regret taking him. I had 79.4% in the class and still got a C+. Do not expect any curving in your favor. He is one hell of a tough grader. Expect a lot of readings and homework. Choose group member wisely. In exam, write exactly how he wants you to write (he will provide a sample), or you won't pass. He will stress you out. Avoid at all cost.
I liked him because he made lecture interesting. However, there was a lot of outside homework and projects AND in class papers. You have one big research paper and one group project/presentation you're working on throughout the semester. While taking weekly quizzes and studying for the in class papers.
I'm genuinely good at writing and never had a hard time w English courses, but this guy made it unnecessarily difficult. He literally drilled students during presentations as if it brought him joy. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY DREADED GOING TO HIS CLASS. I dropped the course due to anxiety and I work in sales, so I could handle anxiety and rudeness.
Professor's documentations are detailed but will miss very important points. I advise to be careful with that and confirm everything (even if you're sure what you heard he said) in the end of the class or email. Because if not, he will give you 0 credits and try blame you for that. Marketing dep. is already harsh. This guy makes it even worst.
He's a good teacher and he's funny. I thought he was fair and gave constructive feedback on all of our writing assignments and tests. There is a lot a reading, we have essay style tests on cases, a project, and a presentation. Talking with him about essays and assignments will have a positive impact on your you grade because it shows you care!
Axtell has a strange sense of humor, but funny as long as you don't take him too seriously. Provided the nature of this class, the workload was to be expected. He provides really informative/clear feedback on papers and essays, because he does truly care about you succeeding. Make sure to implement his feedback in future assignments!
Professor Axtell is a bit of a difficult person to have teaching you, due only to his impersonal attitude. He's smart, without a doubt, and knows how to teach Business Communication well, but if you ask questions he can be pretty condescending, especially if any info you asked for was written somewhere. He just doesn't communicate terribly well.
Axtell is far from liberating. 4 exams (just writing). Monotone. Proctorio enthusiast. He does not teach what youre tested on, you must study the book and teach yourself. Mind-tap required so be ready to spend a pretty penny $117. he actually grades fairly well, but Id expect that for not even teaching the criteria. You will pass, just study.
He is quite monotone and has a weird sense of humor but he's really chill and nice enough. 3 exams with proctorio. One individual report and one group report/presentation. Been understanding/lenient due to fires and covid. Def pay attention in class since his instructions aren't super clear but still able to get an A if you follow his directions.
Dont expect him to be a professor you can communicate with. Never answered back to emails which made it frustrating bc I never tended towards emailing my professors for feedback or questions. Attend class, rewatch lectures (especially before an exam)bc if you stick to his guidelines youll pass the course. Overall worst professor Ive ever had.
Mixed emotions on him. He was very engaging, especially for a zoom class. He was very harsh with his feedback though. If you don't do an assignment exactly the way it's supposed to be done he's not lenient at all, you will flat out get a bad grade. I don't think I did too well because he was harsh with grading, but I actually learned a lot.
Axtell wasn't the best nor worst prof I've ever taken, but his feedback wasn't helpful and at times his prompts were unclear. He is very particular so definitely follow his instructions exactly and you should be fine. His class wasn't hard, and the material wasn't difficult, but I can't say I learned much.
I won't say much, just be prepared to write a paper in 11 illegible font, single-spaced, 3 to 6 pages, took me over 19 hours to do one paper. I think there were 3 papers for the whole semester. There are plenty of better professors to take, get fooked if you take him though.
Normally professors are able to explain and consolidate instructions but Prof Axtell extends and spends WAY too much time going over instructions. Lectures are more going over instructions and less learning practical information. Wouldn't take this prof ever again because of the soul-sucking energy he exerts.
Before taking Professor Axtell's course, I was aware of his past reviews and was worried about what to expect. I was impressed with his organization of the course, and how easy-going Professor Axtell is. I would recommend taking his course if you are looking to get a challenge and be able to learn at the same time. I am excited to take him in fall
professor Axtell has been one of my favorite teachers at CSUF so far! he has an interesting dry sense of humor and is extremely laid back! all of his assignments are through cengage and the test are based off the reading material and his lectures. class was super easy compared to BUAD 301 and he graded more lenient then most professors.
Usually, I don't rate professors but Axtell was a very good teacher his lecture was simple and easy. each class we have group work supper easy. 3 easy tests and final if you know the concepts.
This class was meh. Not difficult but not easy. Syllabus was pretty clear on what was due and when it was due. If you ever try to reach him outside of class, good luck. Didn't respond to a single email I sent.
His lectures provide all the information needed to do well in this class. 3 Midterms, 1 final, Cengage hmwk, and 1 group project. His exams are clear and grammar and writing skill is critical on the exams. Over all was a decent professor.
Tests make up most of your grade. VERY HARD GRADER! You may think you do good on your test, but then he makes comments saying "bragging and "rude". For his tests he writes negative comments but DOES NOT SHOW ANY EXAMPLES of how to properly do it. I've never struggled so much in a class then this one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I'm here to give insight, not review. -negative demeanor from day one, but nicer guy 1on1 -seems to not want to be there -not a slack-giver, so just be ready and pay attention to instructions -3 business form exams, final is same as 3rd (negative letter) -be familiar with APA -group report (mingle early!) -2 online hws ev week
Didnt hate the class but didnt love it either. Hes pretty clear on instructions and grading. The class isnt really hard its just 3 exams, a final , and a group project. He is very monotone so the class can be boring at times, but its not that bad.
He's really chill. Just listen to what he says and you'll be fine. B grade because I messed around a bit too much near the end of the semester lol.
he sometimes wasnt clear on what he was looking for in our tests but after a couple of assignments you can tell how he grades. actually learned some valuable things in this class though.
Overall he was ok, not much to say. He grades his exams pretty harshly so you gotta be perfect with the format and answering the prompt.
He's very monotone and a little hard to listen to but he's usually very clear with his instructions. There's a lot of little group assignments, but you can miss like 4 of them with no penalty. The tests aren't that hard if you follow the stuff you learn in the textbook. At least one homework assignment online every week.
Pretty funny guy. He does have a monotone voice so lectures can be boring at times, but it is pretty easy to follow. He grades pretty generously during in-person exams. However, if it is online it is harsher. It's not that hard to pass the class, I feel his grading criteria is really clear. I recommend taking him.
Besides his monotone voice, he's a great professor and very blunt when it comes to lectures or giving instructions. There is weekly homework, but it's really easy to manage. He is a harsh grader when it comes to exams or projects though. He usually assigns group tasks every class. If you put in the bare minimum, you're guaranteed a B or higher.
Has very strict grading for assignments, but easy to do. 2 point collabs every class. You leave early if you finish. About 3 mind tap videos/assignments every week, easy but annoying. Big APA report you need to research with 2 others, gives you 4 weeks to finish. He tells you what he wants in the exams and lets you practice in class, very easy.
Professor Axtells class requires you to participate - although, most of the tasks are not daunting. If you attend class and put in the work, you should do perfectly well. Professor Axtell explains what he is looking for on each exam and gives very clear input on the work you are doing and have turned in. Listen to him very carefully.
My writing has improved a lot thanks to his great lectures. I would highly recommend his class to everyone!
Solid professor. Tough grader but if you follow the format carefully you'll do just fine. He assigns assignments weeks in advance so you have more than enough time to do them. Make sure you actually participate in group collab assignments
I don't understand everyone's rating towards him, I'm currently finishing up my semester with him in person and I have to say that this is my favorite professor so far. He gives great feedback when writing in class and he's really helpful. Weekly homework assignments online but not difficult at all. Just do the work and you'll do fine. 10/10 class.
A lot of group work with small collaborations in class and one big team project. Usually, class ends early whenever you finish your work. There are weekly Mindtap assignments that are simple. He's very specific with his instructions and the format of different writing types; he can come off as blunt. Other than that, the class is worth taking.
this professor is EXTREMELY extremely rude. do not expect him to help you whatsoever. he does not care about you or your feelings.
Professor Axtell runs a clear, if sometimes monotonous, class. Assignments are manageable if you stay on top of them. Using Unstuckstudy alongside the textbook can help keep you organized and prepared.
He isn't too bad in my opinion. I took him over fall 2024 and his assignments can be challenging but it's not too difficult. You would work into groups all the time for in class work. His homework isn't too bad either thankfully. His exam can be hard and easy at the same time. You do what the prompt says but you do need to have a good format.
really liked this class, he seems mean and all but he makes the class easy. You have to go to class for the collabs which are super easy and the hw isnt too hard if you like writing. for the exams he literally goes over a practice exam the class before so you shouldnt do bad on them.
This professor thrives off of giving useless criticism. He gives vague feedback and provides little support to his students. Super tough grader for a 200-level course. Do NOT take him. He picks and chooses his criteria unfairly. You can complete something exactly according to his instructions, and he still takes points bc he feels like it.
Professor Axtell is a somewhat hard grader when it comes to work and will notice everything (will give you 0.1 point off for minor details) but I feel like he does it to make the student take ALL details into consideration. He is very sassy but is fairly nice when talked to about assignments/questions. Super easy homework and in class work.
This ma'am goes on and on all lecture, tries to be funny but is so hard to watch. Tough grader, gets annoyed at cellphone usage and will point it out.
Had to drop the course due to unforeseen medical reasons 1.5 months before the course ending, he refused to assist which led to the (F) grade. Please be advised that this instructor will go out of his way to fail students!
It was so bad, even when GODCINE cast a summoning and said "Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky" my mood was so grey, the rainbows did NOT adorn the sky. Little Ica continuously comforted me, but his attitude, homework, and lectures had drained me good. I'm GOIN BELOBOG MARCH YEW CHRISTOPHER. LITTLE ICA TOLD ME TO GUARD AND DEFEND!! HUH HAH GALEAMMMM!!
This teacher is a giant man child never had a teacher who just makes stuff up to give u points off I'm taking 6 classes and working with multiple classes more difficult then this the content isn't hard, and studying isn't either but he will make stuff up to his liking to mark you off on it's genuinely the stupidest sh I've ever seen ,
Just an absolute jack @$$ thrives off critiquing your work takes points off for anything but doesn't teach it honestly dude is just a chud lowkey reminds me of Christopher hitchens LOL
Some of the work is simple however for some assignments the feedback is not clear and instructions are wordy in a bad way. On top of that many of the jokes made in class just give an off-putting effect rather than it being funny.
Just avoid this class when you ask questions he will use his own class teachings instead of helping you, always has very specific instructions but also vague at the same time because if you meet them there will be other random finite things found to take points off. Just save yourself the time and stress from this G.E class that's utterly useless.
The class itself is pretty easy, but hes a tough grader and lacks actual feedback on tests. He is super sarcastic and can be rude sometimes. Theres one group project towards the end of the semester. A bunch of small group work during throughout the semester. 3 exams one final but it isn't cumulative.
Honestly not a bad professor. Just pay attention and be aware of what he puts on his slides. They are simple and straight to the point but the information covered is what will help you pass your three exams and final. Class is mostly working with others doing a small class assignment. Lastly, there is a group project in which is important.
