His class was incredibly agonizing. The material is very dry and he has a tendency to rush through the lectures, which made it difficult for me to grasp the concepts. Dr. Bishop is easily one of the best Psychology/Neuroscience professors at Binghamton. He has a uphill battle in that Learning is quite frankly one of the most dense dry topics one could teach, but I still recommend taking this course he makes it interesting somehow. Additionally, take a course with Dr. Ralph Miller if you get the chance.

The class itself has a lot of concepts and material that you should know, but everything you need to know comes straight from his lecture slides. I recommend coming up with examples on your own for the concepts discussed during lecture and you'll be fine. The key to doing well is thinking about the concepts abstractly until you can explain it.
