The weekly homework was nearly almost all the same throughout the quarter. One homework assignment, one group assignment, one pre-quiz, and one quiz. Mr. Hendrixson gave well-detailed feedback and is overall an amazing professor. The content of the class can be difficult to understand, but reading through the textbook helps a ton.

Same each week, tues have online HW, reading, videos, due, Wed group assignment (make zoom or let him know why can't), thur low point pre quiz, and fri quiz. Very easy, straightforward, some weeks heavier than others, very heavy on cengage online book. Gave good feedback, easy to reach. Interesting class, maybe could've had more real world examples

The professor is a tough grader. He doesn't give lectures what so ever so you will have to rely on yourself reading from the textbook that you will have to purchase. Highly don't recommend.

Strict pointing system could easily make you lose points and drop grades. Really got to be very careful about everything, quizzes homework exams. Be careful and you will easily get an A. Things aren't that difficult but you need to be very clear about the concepts. Professor is very accessible and willing to explain patiently. A good professor!

Don't take this class online. He posts lecture notes every week that are not very helpful and don't have enough examples. From an online class perspective, this is not your guy. It's sold as asynchronous, but has a very rigid schedule. Assignments are only available from 4a-11p on the day they are due, even if the school is closed for holiday. However, the biggest thing is that there are only 100 points available in the class. Missing a question on a quiz is .5% lost.

Professor Hendrixson is overall a good professor. I was in a hybrid class, his lectures were all in person. There is SO much info so if you miss a day or two in person you can be well behind. There's a lot of homework and quizzes every week. The exams are difficult but he can curve them. Lots of group stuff. But it's a hard class for sure.

Has a tricky grading system so you have to be careful on losing points on quizzes and midterms, but there are practice quizzes on his canvas (that are optional) that are exactly like the quizzes he gives out in class. He also gives out extremely detailed reasons on how he gets the answers on the practice quizzes. Midterms+Final are all curved.

The online course is supposed to be asynchronous but it's on a tight daily schedule and requires homework to be done over the weekends. Practice quizzes follow the textbook and videos, and then the actual quizzes contained questions that we had never seen or learned how to do before. No teaching done by instructor, all on your own.

Grade is based off of 100 points, so difficult to get a good grade, as each point lost is pretty significant. He randomly checks attendance (says he likes to do it the days after exams/on Fridays) so important to be there. Lots of material, but do the practice quizzes (and read the answer key reasoning) to help you do well. Nice guy though!

I took an asynch class, Chris was nice but unhelpful. There are 5 total assignments in the week and a required zoom meeting weekly (not fully asynch). Super condescending when asked for help. Quizzes were pretty different from the HW and prequiz which was confusing. Hw not bad, on mindtap with 3 attempts per question.

Made you feel very stupid if you ask any questions and does not help ever. Quizzes don't reflect any of the assignments. He doesn't teach the class, only the textbook and random YouTube videos do

This professor was hard to get along with. Being an online class, often times you don't know if the professor will be present or not. In this case, the professor was very out of reach, and I did not feel like he participated in the class. Everything was self-graded and test heavy, did not set students up for success.
