Mr. Dunn is a cool guy, but you need to listen in class. Don't leave all the readings to the end because they will come back. Ask for help in your essays because he is very percise on what he is looking for. Good class if you like watching movies and relating them to texts.

took Dr. Dunn Engl 1301. Easy class does grade a little hard but you have to ask what he is looking for. Overall enjoyed the class.

SOOOO easy!!! Took him for english one, we didn't do anything for the first couple of weeks, we did 3 easy essays, make sure to do the readings b/c he will have pop quizzes.

Took him for english 1 and did good.Just show up to class do the reading before class easy essays very nice and understanding will stay later to help you out.

Prof. Dunn is extremely nice and very educated. His resume is impressive, but he doesn't tell you about that and is somewhat awkward in relaying his knowledge to students. Go to class, participate in lectures, read the readings he assigns; they're not hard. No text book, everything is online. Midterm was easy, final was take home. I got an A in this class.

Prof Dunn is a very good teacher, makes class relatable and interesting-if you fail the class is due to ignorance b/c he gives you lots of chances to boost up grades and extra credit.

This class is super easy, relaxed, fun, and no text book needed. The catch? Most of the quizes and test come from the lectures in class! does not stress on attendence but gives extra credit on a whim.. really cool, sexy, teacher. loved his class :)

Prof. Dunn was easily the most engaging instructor I had this semester. His class time is mostly spent in discussion over the required reading and examination of what we uncovered. Prof. Dunn directs you to a lot of writing which is online, and in fact the vast majority of reading were taken from online sources. Awesome, awesome class.

Dunn does not take attendance.He is the first professor I have encountered at HCC that conducts his classroom similar to that of a university.Lectures are insightful.He is a great writer and has an extensive vocabulary.You will not spend a great deal of time in this class,unless you remain behind(seeking further assistance)after class is dismissed

Professor Dunn is extremely knowledgable, proffessional and nice. His class is very relaxed and he encourages particapation. I enjoyed the class.Take him if you have a chance you won't be dissapointed.

When it rains, class is cancelled! No textbook required, he provides handouts. Class was extremely easy. Sometimes too easy and boring. If writing poems is a passion, take this professor.

Amazing teacher. Not too demanding on assignment dates. 10 page paper for final on any subject of your choosing. Likes focusing on poems. No textbook needed. Extremely laid back and understanding. I received an A for the spring semester :)

I loved his class! Not only because he is easy on the eyes, but because he is super nice and super smart! He is willing to help you and he does not grade hard! Be prepared to watch films and have short classes! Really recommend this class!

took him for summer 1 and his class is extremely easy, 2 papers, analytical and research and 2 exams. Watches movies in class and makes class shorter. He sometimes leaves on days and also no cancels when it rains! no textbook! hes a cool dude and attend classes to get easy grades even tho he doesnt take attendance! EASY!

He is a hot teacher!! Very blunt on his teachings though, I took him during summer. I definetly recommend him for summer courses; don't expect elaborate explanations on assignments, your going to have to ask him specific questions. Easy A.

Professor Dunn is awesome. He puts all your assignments on his HCC page and you turn them in at the end of the semester. No final exam butu have to write a 8 page letter (anything you want). If you don't take this class your not very smart!!! He cancels class a lot so check your emails.

His class is by far the easiest I've taken.

He's easy grader. I didn't do any homeworks, just did good on my mid-term and final. He gave us chances to fix mid-term paper and accept late turning in. Great teacher.

Great lecturer ! Get ready to read a LOT of articles. He's lectures are pretty straight forward. make sure you read EVERYTHING and watch all videos he gives to you in class an online. This will definitely help you in the midterms and finals.

Honestly when it comes to teaching is pretty boring cause he pretty monotone, but other than that his class is fairly easy make sure you do all the hw bc similar q's on Mid-term & final! I got an A in his class even after I got a 78 on mid-term just by doing good on the 2 essays all the hw and final. If he sees many struggle he tries to help out

Professor Dunn makes you read and write A LOT, but the assignments are truly simple. Average of 4 questions per article/video you read and gives you about a week to do the assignment(s). Then will talk about the assignment(s) and wants to hear your point of view in the article/video. Very simple and easy to work with.

I have taken professor Dunn three times now . Once for English Comp 1 and once for Creative writing. I am currently enrolled in his English Comp two! He can be home work heavy at times but none of it is hard just can be time consuming ! Would 100% reccomned to everyone ! Have received an A twice now hoping to receive my third this semester !!!

Professor Dunn's class was honestly a good class that was not hard to pass. He leaves a sufficient amount of homework that is reasonable for a COLLEGE class. There was a lot of reading, but they were articles that were not hard to comprehend. The reviews on here make him seem bad when he actually isn't. He is a good professor.

I took his class two years ago, I come back because I realize how special his class was. His main theme was to explore how people seek and define their identity and how marketers intertwine sales with people's desire for identity. Yes, it's important to get straight A's for all calculus and physics. but I find his class really meaningful.

He is a good teacher just be prepared to read his online material oh and write a few essays. He is very straight forward be prepared for him to just give you instructions and then leave cause he does not play. If you need him to answer a few questions he will. He is reasonable. I would take him again.

I took a 6 week online class with him. Easy & unique course material. Average of 1-2 assignments every week (I surprisingly got all 100s) 2 major essays (1000-2000 words). If youre a fairly good writer & make minimal grammar errors, this class is an easy A. Only negative is he doesnt post assignments until week of and posts grades late.

Dr. Christopher Dunn was an amazing teacher. I took his course for spring, and I actually passed his class with ease. It consisted of responses to articles, two major essays, and a final essay. It was the easiest English class you can ever sign up for. Highly recommend!

Prof. Dunn's grading revolves around analyzing texts and answering questions about them, he's not strict on attendance and overall his class is a breeze if you read his assignments.

Very laid back professor. He isn't strict about attendance, and is a pretty easy grader outside of the midterm/final. The classes are just discussions about the content he provides, so you often get out early or he doesn't hold class. Just be prepared for a lot of homework, 2 - 3 short essays a week.

This was a summer course for me. I also had him for spring 2023 for English 1301. He focus is advertising and the effect on culture, and ethos, lagos, and pathos. There re downloads and videos. The word count for his papers ranged from a minimum of 600 to a max of 2,000. He responds quickly to email.

He was pretty laid back. He gives lots of assignments but it's helpful because you can makeup anything. He's a picky grader about essays but the smaller assignments are an easy A. Most of my papers were flagges as AI even though I wrote them, i'd reccomend keeping a braindstorming sheet of each essay just in case. Other than that he's pretty chill.

For the entire class he lectures. Usually the assignments are 1-2 every week & are short/easy. The essays are the hardest part, but he gives you around +2 weeks to do them. The midterm and final are in person and are open-ended handwritten responses.Theres a final paper at the end too. This class is pretty easy if you just do the assignments.

Easiest class you will take! He will help you if you need help and will check your papers before due date to make sure you are on track. He goes over homeworks and explaisn them after the due date. Only hard thing will be his essays.

Chill professor. He will not allow redos or late work, but he will try to help you with your grade. Very understanding, and assignments are super easy.

I had this professor for a hybrid class for English 1301 and he made it a very easy course. The only homework we had was a weekly response to an article, and two >1800 word essays. His final and midterm were a breeze too as they were just questions about the articles you read. As long as you did your assignments you would most likely have an A.

This professor is one of the best. His work is really easy as long as you read the articles for each assignment. This was a hybrid class but attendance I would say wasn't mandatory. I would only go to class for in person assignments and exams. I would recommend taking him to anybody. Very easy.

I took his hybrid course, and I must say it was one of my more enjoyable classes. The professor grades fairly and provides great feedback on the work you turn in. There are 2 essays, 1 midterm, and 1 final, which are both free responses. The class layout was enjoyable and allowed you to work ahead. Would definitely recommend! Great professor!

This professor with not respond so dont waste your time. He will not respond to you at all. He doesn't care about if you fail or pass. Theres no make-up or redo work so your grade is what it is.

I have taken his hybrid ENGL 1301 class, and overall if you just lock-in and do your papers on time, avoiding AI, he'll give you a good grade. But to be honest the reason i wont take ENGL 1302 with him is because his lectures are boring AF! He is more monotone than an alarm going off in the morning for minutes on end.
