Dr. Gnanakan is my favorite professor. He is the most knowledgeable man I have ever met! So much wisdom and he has a lot of funny stories to tell. Okay. His notes make no sense. At all. If you weren't in class or didn't pay attention, you pretty much fail the class. It's brutal the amount of work for a GENED class. His GSA's are distracting by always walking around and they WILL count you absent if you have your phone out. It's terribly distracting and just an awful way to have class.

This is supposed to be a lower level course. He acted like he was still at Cambridge by assigning two reading quizzes a week, a podcast quiz once a week, and two papers bi-weekly. Great professor!! He's always willing to help or give advice, and clarify if need him to. Something cool that he does is allow students to have dinner with him (if you bring others - other students), in which you can ask him all you want about whatever in the class, and he'll clarify. (He pays for the dinner too). Hilarious guy! Very knowlegable!

Dr. G is extremely knowledgable and his lectures can be enjoyable. I learned a lot from the class but the class itself is not easy. There are 4 exams and each exam has 100 questions and these exams are NOT easy at all. Make sure you pay attention because he will call you out if you're not. I have a lot respect for Dr. G, he cares about his students

With three doctorates, Dr. G is such a knowledgeable professor. He remembers everyone in the class and seeks to have a relationship with each of his students. However, his tests are pretty rough. He gives "study guides" for his exams, but if you don't remember specific phrases during his lectures, you're gonna have a tough time passing.

No matter the effort, the A will never be achieved in this class. It seems to be one punch after another; once you finish one huge assignment, another is due the next week! He doesn't teach the course as he makes his students present rather than himself. He doesn't give any guides for his exams either! Awful! I wish this class were online.
