Ugh. Smart professor, really knows his stuff. Goes into immense detail, I had to hold my eye lids open towards the end of class sometimes. Detail oriented, spelling of deities names counts on tests. Lots of slide IDs. Go to class every day and DO NOT FALL BEHIND. You have 2 exams and 1 paper.

Brilliant professor, explains everything in detail. Tests require a good bit of studying, but if you stay on top of your notes, you will be fine. The book does not need to be read if you attend the lectures. Great professor, hard class, but if you have any remote interest and are willing to study, it is well worth it.

Art history is definitely more his thing than history, but he's great in both. Hard exams if you don't attend class, take notes, and study, but easy if you're willing to do those things. He's also really nice and helpful, and generally a big nerd for his subject matter. Make friends with him early and you'll have no problems in the class.

Class should be extremely busy if you take good notes, pay attention, study well with good memory, and have interest in the class. This professor has a very good attitude, but is unclear in his expectations and makes exams difficult to prepare for. He always threw something in that was not on the study guide and made many errors in his grading (so re-check everything). The textbook was pretty useless, as the exams are based on the notes, so make sure they are very detailed!

Professor Gregg's class, although he posts 5 lecture videos each week, was the class I looked forward to the most. Make sure you don't make any spelling errors for any names on exams because he will take off points, and as long as you fill out the study guide after watching the lectures the class should be a relatively easy A. Great storyteller!
