All he talked about was Disney, there was a lot of assignments and so much reading. Do not take him, most of the people in my class dropped and it was too late for me to drop so I just stopped showing up and took an L.

Whoever is giving this man a 5 must be smoking crack I'm not even kidding. I have been at Mt. Sac for 2 years and have never had a professor as bad as this guy. By the time the semester was over, there were 4 kids left in the class, INCLUDING ME. For the love of god take anyone else.

The professor is strict when it comes to what he expects from your writing and can be harsh in the feedback, but he is doing so to improve your writing skills through constructive criticism. If you're thinking of taking his class then drop it now if you don't feel prepared, otherwise you'll have wasted your time like my classmates who dropped late.

Take this professor at your own risk. Most of the class dropped out by midterm. The workload is insane, with tons of reading and assignments based on Disney - not what I expected in an English course. I used unstuck study and some tutoring to barely scrape by with a C, but I wouldn't recommend this class.

He is very hard I mean come on when it comes to sentence writing hw get all 0 scores. Feedback on paragraphs are harsh. It's hard to see harsh comments when submissions are done. At least he should give you some type of credit for trying but no. This class is like an advanced level English class where literally You feel trapped to pass. DONT TAKE!

Probably one of the worst proffesors you could take, very harsh with everything he thinks this is some advanced level English. Does not really explain workload a whole lot but just dumps it on canvas and if you pass you pass if you fail you fail. When it come to rating very harsh on marking so gooodluck.

The worst teacher I've every had. Don't take his class unless you want a challenge or are an AP student and even then I wouldn't recommend it. In my opinion it was way to advanced for a freshman English class and he graded way to hard.I wouldn't even take this teacher as a last resort.

Honestly a VERY hard class, but I feel much more confident in my writing and can actually see improvement & growth. Lots of reading quizzes and writing deadlines, but he's not strict with deadlines at all. Was also very funny during lectures. It's worth sticking it out til the end, you'll really improve if you put in the work.

He gives really long class lectures that are a little boring at times. There are in class assignments that you CAN NOT miss because he won't let you make them up unless you have an extreme reason. His essay grading is harsh but it has developed me into a better writing. If you aren't an English major do not take this class is you want to do gen ed

He's a very critical grader when it comes to the writing portion of the paper but he can be funny in class as well as giving resources. But as long as you do all the work at the end, you'll manage to get an A.

The class was ok, it's not that impossible to get an A if you really put in the effort. Analyzing Disneyland the whole time wasn't my favorite, unless you're a Disney adult, but I learned a lot about writing better academic papers, and he's very passionate about teaching it. There's a lot of work, but it's college, what can you expect.

We had about thirty people in the class, and by the end of the semester, we averaged around 3. He randomly started giving everyone 0s. As I have reported him, he probably won't stay at Mt. Sac very long. I wouldn't recommend him if you have a full classload. If you love Disney, rest assured, he'll make sure you don't.

Most of the class time is spent watching docs about disney/disney movies. He hardly teaches, lets us out early constantly, and expects us to understand his ridiculously specific assignments. His grading is inconsistent and incredibly harsh. over half of this class has dropped already, and the other half has no higher than a C letter grade. AVOID!!

Be prepared to read 13, 20+ pg articles about Disneyland, a 120 pg book, watch a 2 hour movie and HOURS of Disney ride-throughs -- and then compile all of that info into a 20 page (6000+ word) essay that is highly specific in grading criteria. For an entry level class, It's completely ridiculous and brain numbing. AVOID.

The worst professor I've ever had. He doesn't give much feedback on your assignments, he's a tough grader, and if he detects even the slightest use of AI-like language, it's an automatic zero. His classes revolve entirely around Disneyland, which becomes exhausting. DEFINITELY DON'T RECOMMEND!!

I learned a lot about proper research and formatting, things that will help me not only in college but in life. Also, the class isn't really about Disney; it's about utopianism Disney is the vessel. He gives good feedback, and if you show up/attend office hours, you can get an A. Show up every day and put in some care, and he will meet you halfway.

It takes work. That's all it takes to get through this class. The subject is entertaining. The writing is easy if you pay attention. He grades very well and knows the work you put into it. If you want to learn take him. He has office hours and he will help you. He will tell you straight forward what he wants.
