Doesn't exactly teach from the text but if you don't read it you're screwed; hard to tie his lectures to the text too. Open book and note exams but you basically need to have your essay written out beforehand in order to finish in a timely manner (he tells you this). Received midterm grades three weeks late. Not good with email communication.
