Good instructor! Dry humor. Always willing to help. Do lab exercises and keep up and you should have no problem. Highly recommend.

He teaches A&P. Very nice and explains things clearly. All lectured test answers from power point notes. Lab class test are all fill in the blank answers. No final exam, so once he tested you on certain Chapters, you wont be tested on them again.

He substituted a few times for my lab and I wished I had him as a teacher.He took the time to make sure that everyone understand what we needed to identify on all the human models.He also has a funny sense of humor.

I wish I had taken him for my lecture too. Very easy class if you studied lab book and handouts. The handouts were great study guides that made the class so much easier. Labs aren't hard if you study- very interesting class.

Lab... He was a great teacher... Little corny at times. but none the less he understood his subject and is always willing to answer questions. AP Lab not an easy course lots of memorization, but he helps you understand, and in learning techniques.

I took him for both 1085 and 1086 Labs. Great professor, extremely knowledgable, and presents the material needed to get through the class. He made a very complicated subject somewhat humorous at times with his sense of humor and teaching style.

I found him a pretty hard teacher. What I did study wasnt in the tests, some was most wasnt. More of a focal point needs to be given on what to study. Easy to get along with and will work with students having difficulty. Nice guy.

I was not impressed with his presentation,nervous cough, mumbling, & at-times off color jokes,& the way he jumped all over the book.Once you learn to study his notes,and get past the wordiness of the test,he's not too bad.He does have a sense of humor,and gives plenty of redeeming extra credit pts.

I thought he was a very good teacher once you got used to his style of teaching. He is somewhat dry. He likes to make silly jokes that amuse no one but himself most of the time but he is a very nice man. He is not easy but he gives lots of extra credit and is very supportive of his students. I took him for I and II and would take him again too.

Dr. Klotz is the best!!! He looks just like a younger Hal Holbrook for all of you who still know who that is! He recognizes each student and gives plenty of individual attention. He loves his profession and it shows each and every class! I DEFINATE MUST TAKE!

He's probably the best human anatomy teacher at SPC and I wouldn't suggest anyone else. His test are straight from his notes so if you study the notes you'll get an A. I studied his notes about 3 to 4 times before the test and I did fairly well. Offers tremendous amount of help and he really knows his stuff.

He is a good teacher He sometimes has difficulty answering questions but if he doesnt know the answer he will find it and answer your question the next class For lab I found him pretty hard He sometimes would ask questions about items NOT on the objectives sheet Over all I would recommend him to anyone looking to learn something and do good

i LOVED KLOTZ!! MELLOW AND DOWN TO EARTH. HE MADE HIS TEST AS EASY AS POSSIBLE AND GAVE A LOT OF EXTRA CREDIT. I LEARNED A LOT FROM HIS CLASS.

Definitely take for lecture. Read his notes and you will pass all the tests. Easy A for me. Do NOT take him for lab. Definitely not his strong point. Very, very hard and not clear at all about what he wants from you.

I heard Klotz was a hard teacher, but that was proved wrong. He was so helpful in everything. I got 100's on all my practicals. He gives ample extra credit, he stays later to help you out. I reccommend taking him for lab over Nicotera. Both are great teachers but Klotz comes from a different level.

Very good instructor. This is a hard class but if you study his notes you will do well. Sometimes unclear in lab but his lectures are straight forword. His tests are somewhat tricky but if you study his notes you will do good.

50/50 with Klotz. If I ever asked a question he was very helpful but going over the stuff for lab he was very broad and general, he left it mostly up to us. In any a&p class is going to be hard and require A LOT of studying on your part. Class was always let out early (i suggest using ure time wisely and stay to study the models)

Study the notes and you will do well. His tests are straight from the notes. Lecture with him is a little easier than lab but both aren't too bad. there is a lot of memorization, but of course thats because its anatomy. he cracks alot of dumb jokes but hes not too bad of a teacher, pretty easy going guy. i would recommend him.

I took him for A&P 1 and 2. I think the class is challenging, so you do have to know your stuff. He is very helpful if you have a question. If you study his notes thoroughly, you'll do well.

Dr. Klotz is an extremely good a&p teacher. He keeps the atmosphere fun with corny jokes and his tests are right from the notes. He gives extra credit questions and curves his tests. Definitely the best A&P teacher here.

He is a really great teacher. Best a&p teacher by far. His test come strait from his notes you only use the book to look at the pictures and do the quizes. Lab was great. I loved going to lab. I would take pictures to better help myself for the practicles. If your taking a&p take Klotz. You won't be bored.

i had him for class(bsc 1086) and lab bsc(1086L)... he is straight to the point, pay attention to his demonstrations, there will be q's on practicle. gives quizes to help improve grade and extra credit that will help also. this class is hard on its own if your not going to be serious then you shouldnt take it in the first place.

This class isn't easy because you have to memorize so much, but as long as you study his notes and pay attention in class it's not that bad. He cracks a lot of jokes which is nice sometimes because he's not boring.

Dr. Klotz is Hilarious. You can tell he really loves what he does but doesn't have patience for people who aren't going to give him the time. He will make fun of you after you walk out of class if you leave class early. He is very animated and has great descriptions!! Will take him again!!

Had him for Lab. A very knowledgable prof if you can look past his VERY cheezy jokes. Expects indepth coverage of material from the student and asks a broad selection of questions on his practicals. He is understanding if you have to miss a practical and allows you to make it up in another section no questions asked.

A&P covers a lot of material, but Dr. Klotz gives you copies of his lecture notes. I never use my book. His test questions come straight from the notes, and there are always about 7 extra credit questions on every test. The class isn't hard, you just have to be willing to take the time and memorize the material on his notes.

He is a good teacher. He is funny. The class is hard, but that is the material, he does not really make it that hard. I took micro lab with him too. Overall, I would recommend him. He gives about 6 tests in lecture straight from notes. In lab, there are 2 tests, a practical and an unknown lab report.

It's a lot of hard material to process and Dr. Klotz is trying everything he can to prepare you for what is to come. If your thinking of pursuing a career in medical field you need to know your anatomy. Practice quizzes from the books website are very helpful, read your notes before the lecture and give yourself plenty of time to study.

The previous comments make no sense to me, he is an awesome teacher and did teach from powerpoint. However he can answer any question you throw at him. The tests are hard but not really, just study the handouts and online quizzes he assigns, and there you go it's an A. Don't expect good grades with out a little effort.

His personality is zany, and he has a very dry sense of humor. On the first day of class he moonwalked for the class. His teaching style is average otherwise.

I'd recommend him. Good teacher,funny,nice,helpful. Study the lesson BEFORE you come to class,(he tells you to)this way,you understand what he's talking about cuz this is not basketweaving :) so be sure to prepare.He DOES NOT make it harder than it needs to be. Do this & you'll get an "A"

Dr Klotz is dry, but I find his humor quite funny. He has an eye blonds and is overall a nice guy that hates stupid questions, pen tapping and other distractions.

Dr. Klotz is a great professor. People who have trouble in his class just aren't trying hard enough: He spells out exactly what you need to know for the exams in his notes. Yes, it's a lot of memorization. But if you want to go to medical, nursing, etc. school and have trouble with THIS class, you might want to rethink your priorities.

Had him for Microbiology lecture and lab. Very clear and helpful in lab. Lectures not so good, kind of dry, but provides notes which are the basis for 6 tests, so it's very clear what you need to know. He likes teaching and likes the subjects he teaches, and it shows. Fair and generous (extra points to everyone).

If you are willing to learn this is the best teacher you could ask for. He is not easy but neither is medical school. So if you are looking for easy dont take this teacher or become a nurse it will also be to hard for you.

i took klotz for a&p 1 and 2. everyone's reviews are wrong. he's a great professor...he gives out ALL NOTES online, and thats where he gets his test questions. you have to study A LOT to get an A, and that is just what i got. you get out what you put in. i think his jokes are hilarious as well

People that say he is a bad teacher are obviously lazy. He is an amazing teacher, and I loved his class. He is helpful and funny. As long as you are not a moron you will do great!

I took him for A&P 1,2 and Micro lab. He takes the test right out of his powerpoints. And if you can prove that your answers could be right he will give you credit for it. He grades on a curve so you get free points and if your almost at the next grade he will normally help you out. He does have a odd sense of humor but its funny Great teacher

Klotz is a very layed back and easy going teacher. His study guides are what will be on the test! It's cut and Dry. He is very humerous and amazing!

He's a fair and easy going guy with very dry humor. Lab is definitely an independent study class, with some hands on stuff. It's a tough subject with a lot to memorize, so of course it takes A LOT of studying and isn't expected to be easy. If you don't do well in his lab, it isn't his fault for his teaching, it's yours for your studying process.

Klotz is great! He gives you these handy print outs with EVERYTHING that you need to know for the quizzes and labs. It's cut and dry! Everything that you need to know are on these sheets so you don't sit there studying everything. He really narrows it down. I received a A in his class and I am taking him next semester for lecture and lab!

Klotz is great. Don't really use the lab manual, just use his handouts--STUDY THEM FRONT TO BACK. Take notes during his "opening lecture" at the beginning of lab, he tests you on that material. Overall--pretty straight forward and very fair grading. (did not take his lecture, only lab)

Dr klotz is a very fair teacher. Although my grade was a d, it was earned. I took this class online and really should have been in the classroom. You just need to study his material at least 6 hrs and listen to instructional videos often. The tools are there, you just have to apply them.

Prof. Klotz is a great guy and he's very passionate about anatomy. Labs are really short, but all of the practicals are based on the study guide he gives out on day 1 of class. Also be prepared, he jokes around...a LOT.

If you read the book, make notecards, and study then you will pass. The tests he gives are based right on the notes he gives you, and as long as you READ THE TEXTBOOK then it is an easy class. You can skip lectures like 1/3 of the time and you'll be fine as long as you understand the material yourself. Honestly most of it is just teaching yourself.

He's a fair grader. Gives extra credit. Test are tough if you don't study. Overall he's a good teacher.

Klotz is amazing! Tests are tough (it's AP for god sake) but if you print out the notes/power points before you take the weekly test, WAY easier. He curved both the midterm and the final for us, which completely saved my grade and I got just over a 90% for the semester. Jus selected him for fall 2016, you won't regret selecting him. Study!!!

I was REALLY skeptical being put in Professor Klotz A&P1 online(because of the ratings on here) when my original class i signed up for didn't fill up. Professor Klotz is great, he is organized, you know exactly what is expected each week. 2 study modules, 1 homework, 1 quiz a week. 4 test, 2 are proct. An A is easy if you do the work and study.

Professor Klotz is an outstanding professor. I would definitely recommend him for MCB2010, MCB2010L , as well as anatomy 2 lab and lecture. I had him for all of the classes listed. He makes the course fun and is really passionate about his students and his studies. All of the questions on his test are directly from his notes!

Honestly, MCB is never a easy class to begin with so of course you have to study a lot. I truly think that he was helpful throughout the lab and he told us what to study for for each test. I would take him again.

I was a little weary after reading some reviews, but Dr. Klotz has turned out to be one of my favorite teachers at St. Pete College. He's a good lecturer, not stale or boring, and gives a ton of extra credit. His exams were not difficult and everything on it was in the notes/powerpoint.

Took online. His exams were the hardest I've ever taken, but Anatomy is a hard class in general and he curves the exams when everyone does bad. 2 proctored 2 online. Midterm he curved by 24 points, so I went from a 65 to a 89. Study your socks off or you won't pass. 1 con is he does not provide study guides or indication what will be on exams.

He is a hilarious old man with the maturity level of a new college student. He seriously knows his anatomy facts, but he makes learning fun and he has very organized notes to help you along the semester. He is fair to every student and there's never a dull moment in his class. I wish I could take another anatomy class just so I could take him again
