Uses the calculator for a lot of work and answers all questions in class. Full of corny jokes, helps stay awake for the class I guess. Not too much homework and he is helpful and tries to make sure everyone knows what they are doing. Nice/fair person.

Statistics II is one of the hardest courses I have taken at Rowan. I got a C+ in the class, but I'm glad he taught it. He taught well, and graded with a really fair curve. If it wasn't for him, I would have failed this class.

One of the best math teachers I've ever had. His dedication to helping his students is nothing short of remarkable. Not an easy class but if you do the ALL the homework and ask lots of questions (he'll answer them in detail) you'll be more than ok. DON'T CHEAT!!

He is a great person and is always willing to help. The material is hard. I could not learn too well, but it was the subject. Also, he is a VERY understanding person. If you have a problem or need help, he will be there, but you have to want to be helped. Take him and if you find it is hard,Drop it.

He explains the subject really well - after you take him you'll understand stat. Test and quizes aren't hard and he's a fair grader. If you have to take a Stat course take Lacke.

Available for help more than any professor i have seen at Rowan. Class is not easy. Assigns too many take home tests and quizes and projects and have to turn in homework. What is with all the Professors making you turn in homework in college? Overall he is a good guy, just keep up with the work, or it gets overwelming. One of the Best at Rowan.

lakee is also really funny and wears some great shirts (like his approximately abnormal shirt). I think I'm in love.

He's great. He explains everything well, and he gives you help whenever you need it. You know exactly what to expect in his tests. There's a decent amount of homework, but he gives you plenty of time to get it done. He has a good sense of humor. As long as you pay attention, show up to class and do your work, you'll be fine.

He is very enthusiastic to teach all of his classes and has no problem addressing any issues that come up in class or from homework. He likes to try and make classes fun with a few jokes and takes a lot of real world examples into account. Grab him for anything you can!

You basically know who the dumb anti-math people are with their negative "he confuses me" comments. Don't listen to them. Great guy, great teacher. Jokes are cheesy but who cares. If you want help, just ask and he'll be happy to. Due to chronic family illnesses he does miss a handful of classes, which may or may not be good if ur a lazy student

some people don't like him cause you have to understand the material to pass his class, no exceptions. but he is wonderful, funny, and will go out of his way to make sure everyone understands. he is my favorite teacher on campus, and his tests follow from the homework, so stupid surprises on the test.

Good teacher,has the tendency to start assuming you know certain things like shortcut formulas that aren't in the book and you can get lost quick. write down what he puts on the board you'll never find it in the text book and his explanations are way clearer. Homework grade is easy 15 points

Lacke is a pretty cool guy, He give you homework for every chapter and its due the day of the test. But he will answer questions that you have on the homework and on any of the material. His tests are kinda hard but he is a pretty good teacher. He just doens't answer email right away so if you email him do it a few days before the test.

Lacke will always start a class either telling a story of how his life sucks, and then ask any questions and gives everyone a chance to ask whatever it is they want, he doesnt look down on you if you say something dumb like a wrong answer he goes along with it til you realize you messed up and then shows you where very good teacher take him

EXCELLENT teacher. Hilarious/understanding/helpful. He really cares about whether or not students understand. 4 tests with very fair questions. Homework every night that's due the day of the test. 1 sheet of printer paper allowed during test. You can write whatever you need on it front and back. Best professor I've ever had.

He's an okay teacher, it's just a very difficult class. Tests are very difficult he expects every possible detail and will still find ways to take off points. Showed up to class late everyday, very disorganized. Wasn't a huge fan of him but if you want to actually learn stat 2 which I doubt because its useless, he's not bad.

His is a good professor, maybe you need to do lots of homework in his class but if you pay attention for homework the test will be easy. Also if you have question you can go to his office hour, he can explain everything until you know. If you want to study STAT take his class.

Dr. Lacke is the best professor I've had at Rowan, I had him for Stochastic and Deterministic and I always feel like I'm learning something useful. I really enjoy the topics and it's very obvious he does too. The material is difficult but Dr. Lacke is so helpful in office hours and wants you to succeed. Definitely recommend him if you like math

Professor Lacke is a very good teacher in my opinion, he makes the lectures interesting through jokes and references. 3 tests 3 quizzes makes most of the grade percentage and a quarter is take home. He cares about his students, he will find out what you want to do with math and will make parts of the lecture relevant to you

Took 3 classes this semester with him. PRV, Stat2, and Deterministic. He really cared and avoided giving tests when other teachers did. As long as you did the HW before the test you were likely to get a 90+. Gonna get B, A and B+. Tests are long, but fair. Best test is worth most, worst is worth least. Funny too, will engage u with corny dad jokes.

Lacke is a highly qualified professor that sometimes forgets he is teaching an introductory course. He is slow to respond with emails, however he is always willing to meet with students in his office and answer questions. He is passionate about the topic. The course consists of homework, three exams, and a project. The textbook is necessary.

Would take him again in a heart beat. His classes are interesting and keep your attention. He is full of knowledge and willing to work with his students. For all of his exams you can use a computer sized piece of paper. 4 exams, 4 homework sets, and extra credit.

I love Dr. Lacke. During this semester he had a lot of internal issues that led to us having class remotely often, but he gave us so many resources and hours of his time outside of class. Do the homework and you'll ace the tests. He lets you have cheat sheets and gives you study guides. It helps a lot if you have a TI-89. Best teacher for Biometry!

Dr Lacke is an all around great guy and one who truly cares about his student's success. His lectures got boring some of the time but that was mainly due to the material. Online homework was the majority of the work done for the class and the exams were straightforward. Super nice guy who is very accessible, take him if you can.

While I was not particularly a fan of statistics, he made it bearable. Lacke really is accessible and makes office hours for when most students are available, and will always make time if you need it. He is kind of disorganized in my opinion, but he does a good job at preparing you for exams. He never gave anything too demanding. Would recommend.

If you ask anyone about him they'll all have the same answer, he is out a lot for either his own medical issues or his families medical issues. This makes the class a little disorganized sometimes, however he is very understanding of that and still tries to make the class make sense regardless of this. Recommend him for biostats.

CSDA - was out lots for medical, but still managed to get us lectures and provide us with an understanding of hypothesis testing and everything needed before it (SD, SE, Z, T, p, etc). Felt like an intro to formal stat which I think this class is supposed to be. Our project in the syllabus was never handed out. Lots of dad jokes (sometimes good)

Nicest professor I've had. Genuinely cares and wants you to learn, super knowlegable/passionate about the material. A lot of "dad" jokes, but thats part of what made his class enjoyable to go to. Problem examples always covered really interesting real world stuff so I feel like I learned as much about a bunch of other stuff as much as I did stats.

Dr. Lacke is a great prof. This was my first semester as a grad student at Rowan and this class was a good intro to grad level statistics. However, I feel like I did not get much out of the class due to the pace, but that may be due to the class itself, not him. He grades fairly and is always accommodating to his students. Also, lots of dad jokes!

Dr. Lacke teaches very well. The topics covered in the exams are discussed thoroughly. Would recommend him if you really want to learn statistics.

Honestly, I hate not rating Dr. Lacke a 5 because he is a great person/professor, however, his class is a bit disorganized. He cracks jokes during the lectures and offers lots of extra help. He cares a lot about his students and how well they do. It feels like lectures sometimes are a bit all over the place, however, I would definitely recommend.

Dr. Lacke taught statistics really well. He'd crack jokes and do his best to relate what we were learning to real life. I found him very easy to learn from, but if you miss a lecture then you better get notes off of someone else. He never tested us on something he didn't teach. Math is hard, but show up and he'll make it manageable.
