Christopher is amazing. I've never had a teacher that cares so much about their subject and students. SUPER energetic. Hes not bad to look at either. ;)

He is only 24, and that immaturity often comes out in his lectures. Overall, EASY; take home tests, no homework, and non mandatory lectures. He's the prof you want if you have an 18 credit class load with more difficult classes that abosrb your study time. His spunkiness is a plus and does make the lectures entertaining.

Easy class. You just have to print out the power points, skim through the required reading, and you have all the materials you need to take the exams at home. He also drops your lowest exam score, which means I didn't have to take the final! I would definitely have him as my professor again.

Breezy class, and we only had to be there half the time. He gave us so many days off for studying and doing our exams that we weren't actually in class very much. To top it all off, Christopher is such a cutie! So enthusiastic and adorable.

Great teacher who keeps the class interesting. He is easy to understand and is always willing to help. There was no homework, just three take home test and a paper. If you do well enough you don't have to take the final because he drops your lowest test grade. He also gives you class days off to work on the test and paper. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Chris is an awesome teacher. He is 24, very enthusiastic, & I've never see him act "immature" like another article said. This is my 2nd term with him. For 201 all the tests were take home & he dropped the lowest score. For 202 all the tests are online with unlimited time. He offers extra credit & all the tests are open book&open note TAKE HIS CLA

Best class I've ever taken. It's fast paced, and not for someone who wants an easy A, however, he's entirely entertaining and a really great teacher. Keep in mind the schedule is really structured: (Mon=journal, wed=journal, fri=quiz)

This guy is one of the BEST teachers I have ever had! He is crystal clear and is so energetic! I have never seen a teacher move around the room so much but in a good way! He is soo funny so watch out when it comes time for penius envy haha! He rocked my shorts off he was soo good colleges need more profesors like him. If you can take him JUST DO IT

He looks like he should be sitting in the class hah. Young guy, energetic, smart, and the homework isn't too bad. You'll have too earn your grade, but he's definatly one of the better teachers here (pretty funny too).

Young instructor that has way to much energy. He is very nice and likeable but just a bit out there. He has all the info on powerpoint and in lecture so it helps being in class. It's always fun to learn from Chris because he's always so excited to teach what he knows! When I walked into his class, I couldn't help but smile because he was genuinely happy to be there. I don't want to say he's an easy teacher, but it would be pretty difficult to fail if you show up and at least skim the book.

Christopher MacLean seems to be an overall inspiring and motivated individual. though he looks like a 15 year old kid he brings his enthusiasm to the classroom. I found that he provided more than a fair shot accepting some late work when he did not have to do so.

Chris is a good teahcer. Very willing to help if you need it. NOT an easy A, you have to study in order to pass!Test cover a lot of material and you CANT use any notes.Final is open notes and book though, so thats a plus! You really will learn!

Took the class online, very easy only four tests and mostly questions and answers out of the book. No writing assignments and no final. I enjoyed this class.

Prof. MacLean is very passionate about his profession and I loved going to class. He always was entertaining and actually made the topic interesting. I would recommend him to anyone. Very slow with emails, though. Tests were pretty hard, but if you go to class and study you should do fine.

Great class, great teacher! Had plenty of time to do homework, which was all online. Homework helped a lot with tests, and tests were ALL multiple choice and given plenty of time to do them. Gives extra credit after every exam, and extra credit if you never miss a day. Optional final. Easy A for me as long as you just do your work!

Christopher MacLean...what a treat. Super smart, energetic, interactive and patient. Very easy to understand. Tons of activities/demos/discussion. Very active class which is how I learn. If you work hard he will work very, very hard for you. Tough material but he is there to help 24/7. He actually wants you to do well! I recommend to anyone.

Chris is awesome! He cares about your education! You will work for your A, but learn so much! 9 chapters are divided into 3 tests. Final is optional and can only improve your grade. Online homework is not difficult and can be done at your leisure but does have a due date. He has 2 very easy discussion posts. He gives extra credit opportunities.

I am the type of person who enjoys my teachers. Christopher as one of my first college courses and he really helped me. I have disabilities & he worked with me and accommodated me. He really loves his job and wants you to do well. He gave extra credit and helped us all and gave real world examples that really helped you remember the content.

He is a super awesome instructor! He is happy to help each student and he gives generous points. Reading the whole book can be challenging but at the end of the term, you will feel it was worth it! He also emails back very quickly and gives extra points. He is really enthusiastic and casual and always happy! What a great instructor!

At first his work load may seem overwhelming, but he makes class fun, grades easy, and the course load get's easier throughout the term. The exams are long but fairly easy. Trick for the reading: take notes on key terms (bolded with definition in margins) and chapter summaries if you don't have time to read the whole thing, saves a ton of time!

Great teacher, very nice and interesting. But tests are a bit hard and lengthy. A LOT of reading weekly at home. I Attended class and did all the work and received a 'B'. Great teacher if you don't need an 'A' for nursing students.

I took 201 with him as well and received an A. He gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit which is awesome! He also usually has 3 tests and an optional final as well.

I loved this teacher by far in my top three, if you have a chance to take his class do it you will not regret it the class consists of participation response papers two tests PowerPoint presentation and paper that goes along with the PowerPoint no final. I received an F in a test and I received a 85% B as my final grade. Best class I have ever had

Chris is not an easy A professor, but if you love psyc, want to learn and be tested at a collegiate level, he's your guy. He loves teaching and it shows!

He knew a lot about what he was teaching. He had reading quizzes over the chapters we read. 3 tests over the term, he told jokes before each test to make us feel less scared. It wasn't an easy class, had to study a lot.

He has 3 big homework assignments, 7 questions, 1 page for each question and a test to correspond those homework assignments. You usually have 2-3 weeks to complete these. I would highly recommend him if you want to learn Psych he makes it fun and interesting.

Christopher is such a funny teacher! He is always making us laugh every class no joke. He really does a great job of teaching and you can tell he really enjoys it and his students. He is very energetic and positive every class which is great because it makes his class more fun and exciting and not boring.

The ONLY bad things about his class are the pop quizzes- not difficult, just surprising when you skip class and miss one. Participation is easy, but matters! He tells fun stories. Christopher was a great professor and cared about his students success in the class. The only thing I would say held me back from an A was that we could not use notes on the exams and so you had to know your topics very well. What helps with this is doing your homework. Overall this was a fun class.

While Christopher is an incredibly caring and entertaining prof who builds activities into his lectures, the level of homework, test prep, and reading required for this class are twice what they were the first time I took a class with him. The tole the workload has taken on my health and social life is not worth his amazing teaching skills.

My man Christopher MaClean should be described as nothing less than a legend. I learned more in this class than any other and it was super interesting. He lectures a lot but gives breaks and keeps you excited and interested in the material. Homework makes you think but prepares you very well for the tests. So much so that I never studied for one

Chris is an incredible instructor. We're given a break every session and there are extra credit opportunities. It's overall an interesting and fun class. Homework is summarizing the chapters so make sure to work on it little by little everyday. I didn't have to study much before tests to feel confident since the homework is so thorough.

Hands down one of the best profs I have ever had. He truly cares about your well being as a student and will make sure you know, there is a lot of reading involved but it helps prepare for the tests. There are also 3 big homeworks throughout the term which take some time but you get them so far in advance they are very doable, don't procrastinate!

Very funny and kind. Lectures are like 50% discussion. Three tests over the course of the term and an optional final. The tests are difficult so beware. The homework is usually 20 questions but each is about a half a page of writing and depend on the textbook for the answers. Gotta be in class for points-- both quizzes and participation.

This was a great intro to psych class! He clearly has a great understanding of psychology and uses it to inform his teaching style. He incorporates various styles of teaching that actually help you retain the information. Definitely recommend keeping up with the reading because you'll end up doing it anyway for the two short answer papers.

I've taken several classes led by Christopher, and you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not signing up for at least 1. He's genuinely passionate about the subject and cares so much about his students. He's very funny and treats everyone w/ unconditional positive regard (as recommended by the practice). Not enough good can be said about this one.

This was a really interesting class! Christopher's lectures are mandatory because there are breakout rooms you need to participate in and then write reflections on. There are 3 papers in total (20 question in each). You get the answers from the textbook. This class is set up to be clear and easy to get the work done! Easy A

Mr. MacLean is amazing I've taken him for 3 courses PSY 101, 201 and am finishing 237. I sadly need to take other classes for my major but always joke and wish he thought them all. He makes class fun and cares deeply about his students. He is very flexible and knows that we all have lives outside of his class. I highly suggest you take his class!

THE best instructor at CCC. His zoom lectures are not re-used content he makes sure to record everything fresh weekly citing the time and day. The term papers are tedious but he allows a lots of time to complete them. 10/10 recommend

This professor records his lectures at the beginning of every week making even an online class personable. His lectures are fun, he speaks freely as if he was talking to you face to face, and always manages to make up a joke to throw in there. Lots of writing. Grades exceptionally quick and always gives great feedback!

Great lecturer. Funny, energetic & clearly passionate about the subjects presented. Homework was rather easy but did take a bit of time to complete each week. You'll want to chip away at the Term Papers assigned each week while you're listening to the lectures because if you do it all at once it would be a lot of work.

Christopher has been one of the most caring professors I've had. The work was pretty easy, but very time consuming. There was weekly reflection papers, 3 term papers, and a final. He loved to go in depth in his lectures about the material. If you put effort into your assignments you'll get a good grade. Would recommend taking his class!

His lectures are interesting and leave you thinking and wanting to learn more, the exams are also very easy if you remember to take notes and pay attention in his lectures!
