Good and funny teacher, easy class. He made it an interesting class and it's pretty easy to get good grades in as long as you print out the notes.
He explains the material very well. Although there is a lot of writing involved, you don't really need the book to pass this class. He is very funny and knows that the material is boring but he tries to make it as interesting as possible by making quirky jokes. I would recommend that you take this class with him.
Really great and funny professor! makes class interesting. For exams, use the practice exams he puts on UB Learns because 1/2 of the questions are exactly the same. Didn't really use the book.
The funniest professor ever! Tests are easy if you do some reading and the lectures are actually enjoyable. One of the best professors!Made the material so entertaining!! His TA on the other hand, not so good and a little arrogant.
Mele is a great professor. Optional attendance but you will not get an A if you miss it. Mele is funny and makes class interesting. The material he goes over in class is pretty much short-hand of the book and he adds a few things. Read the book chapters and what he highlights in lecture to get get an A. He grades A, B, C, D, F. No +/-, so be aware.
This class was so interesting and Mele just made it that much better. You don't have to go to class if you dont want to but he is histarical and makes you want to be in lectures because he makes everything relatable
Bad class....... he goes off on unnecessary tangents and when his TA teaches... oh boy get outta there. Tests are hard, and he doesn't grade with + or -.... ABCDF is all you will get. 1/4 stars
This class is terrible. It is so incredibly boring that you will have to physically force yourself to go. I was really looking forward to this class and now i wish i would have taken it with a different professor. i am so disappointed.
Dr. Mele is a great professor!! He does go off on tangents, but you will laugh so hard. Exams are fairly easy, he doesn't show up for the them, his TA does. You watch YouTube videos, and interesting documentaries. I enjoy the class but I know there are others that don't. If you want to learn AND get an A take him! You won't regret it.
Before i stopped going to class, he was my favorite professor, his jokes were frequent and hilarious, and the material was well taught... Everything he does is online, and before the tests if you go over the notes you could pull an easy 95. I strongly recommend him if you have to take soc 101
The class is boring since he just basically reads off the noted that you already have. easy exams and you can print the notes out so you dont have to really go to class. if you're looking for an easy gen ed this is it
Great professor. He knows his stuff and gives good notes. Does a very good job breaking down and explaining the material. If you need to take classical theory, he's the guy to take it with.
cool/nice teacher. totally recommend!
He's funny..and hot
Teaching right out of lecture. Miss the lecture? View it online. $99 for textbook, notes, and access to online quizzes. Attendance is mandatory, though offers some bonus if you're there on the right day. Very fair. Miss a test? He'll give you a make up. Miss a question on the online quizzes for a good reason, show him effort and he'll give it to u.
Goes off on tangents too much. Skims the notes so you can hardly read them. Cancels class frequently and even has the TA run it sometimes which is horrible. she sucks. and you can't get a "+" or "-" so if you screw up one test youre done.
veryyyy funny!!!!!!!! very easy class if you go to the lectures, if not, just print the lecture notes online & go to the last class before exams. the review is enough to prepare you for the exams.... overall a VERY EASY COURSE - A MUCH BETTER ALTERNATIVE TO TAKING PSYCHOLOGY AS A GEN ED.
Great teacher. My schedule didn't allow me to make it to the class, except on exam days. Being able to print the notes out, and watch the lectures online and the practice tests help a lot! I would def. recommend this professor and his class. He make it interesting, it's not as drole as psych would be
He is a great professor, a good class if you are willing to embrace small humors. Attendance Mandatory, but you can get most info from notes and the online lecture recordings. The only downside is when he lets the TA teach. Easy A if you pay attention and read notes, everything you could possibly need is online, skim ovr notes and u will b fine.
easiest class i have ever taken. i didn't go to one single lecture and i still got an a in the course. the tests aren't completely reading based, but enough that if you do the reading and understand it you still get good grades. everything is online, including tests to help you study, which the actual tests are very similar to. would recommend
You cannot get an easier class. Watch the lectures online if you don't want to attend. Do the practice quizes which majority of the exams comes from and I guarantee you will get an A.
Dr. Mele is a really good professor. He explains very well and makes sociology very interesting to learn. He has the lectures recordings posted online, so you can catch any missed materials later on. His exams are extremely easy. Just memorize the LECTURE NOTES and it should be an EASY A. You really dont need to read from the text. No +/- grades.
Mele is the man. His lectures are somewhat entertaining (for a lecture), but makes makes soc interesting. Funny, EASY EXAMS, note outlines online, really nice guy, EASY CLASS. Make crystal meth lab refernces in class. Hilarious.
really easy class. just get the notes from online. never need text book, i wouldn't recommend even buying it. go to class, dont really need to but he makes it fun and interesting so you should. sometimes watch videos and stuff. always a funny guy.
Mele is a really funny and down to earth guy. The class is sooo easy. You can watch the lectures online if you don't go to class and there are only 3 exams (no final) the whole semester.
He's extremely easy. Never went to class, instead watched lecture online. No +/- grade
If you need to take soc101 just stop reading and take his class trust me
He's Really funny. And a very good proffessor
Should be called "Common Sense 101". Very easy class. Mele is a funny, nice guy, and even though you don't need to go to lectures I'd say go because he'll make you laugh. He posts his lectures and notes online, the textbook is online too. All you really need to do is read the book and check out the notes before a test, you'll do fine.
Lack of plus/minus grades should make you reconsider whether to take this class, everyone I know got a B when they deserved an A-/B+.
Prof Mele is fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable and keeps a 3 hour lecture interesting to the end. Be prepared to work and write essays.
Class was very straight forward with most exam questions coming from the lectures. No papers, just 3 exams and 2 quizzes. Dr. Mele was an entertaining lecturer.
Class was fun and easy! 3 Exams, 2 Quizzes, No cumulative final and no essays. Study the review sheet and you'll pass the exam with an A. Very common sense.
I took SOC 101 with Dr.Mele last year. Not only did he have a firm grasp on the subject, but his lectures were entertaining and he would always crack jokes. I would recommend him to everyone!
Mele is a fine lecturer, but he's rather impersonal. On a good day, he's a hilarious, but don't go in expecting that. You don't have to read the book; you don't have to go to class. Easy A.
Great Intro Soc class. It's pretty much everything you'd expect in a perfect 101 class. Def take it with Mele if you have the choice.
Professor Mele is really funny, and he is extremely knowledgeable. His quizzes are very easy and straightforward, definitely take this class!!
Looooved Prof Mele! Great lecturer, woke us up every Monday bangin on that podium "Happy Monday Everyone!" ... Indeed it was
Professor Mele is in the top three of best professors I have ever had. Anyone who has an interest in Sociology should take his course. And if you are doubtful about whether you like Sociology or not, take this course anyway. He is that interesting and just a very funny nice guy. A must take.
Very dedicated professor. Will spend an hour explaining the same concept if you can't get it. Went overtime into office hours to finish the material for class if need be. Adaptive to the settings. No textbook. Engaging and friendly...the jolly professor you'd love to have a beer with after class.
One of the best professors you can get for Sociology, dont doubt! take his classes and you will know why! No one teaches like him! Legendary!
Take a class taught by him at all costs! You won't regret it, one of the best professors I've ever had, great personality and extremely engaging. Would never get tired hearing him lecture. Wicked sense of humor and manages to keep the class interested even when lecturing about boring policies.
Although we are this level of edu, Prof Mele still makes sure we have progression in our proj, sincerely wanting us to learn something out of it. He goes OT to make sure we understand. Awesome, Crazy & Fun! Best prof in my UB life!
Made SOC 101 bearable, super interesting, super funny. Would definitely take as many classes with him as I can
Great teacher. He is very engaging, and teaches clearly. Good sense of humor too. You can probably pick up the vast majority of what is on the tests just by attending lectures and paying attention. The material is all available online in a variety of formats, and if you go over it a bit outside of class you will probably do well.
Mele is a great teacher. He is hilarious and wants the best for each one of his students. Although his class was interesting it wasnt the easiest but if you read the book and go to lecture an A is definitely possible.
Taking this class for FALL'13..He's nice, BUT..the topics he discusses are BORING. It's history based topics. Also, he makes you copy A LOT of notes in class. If you hate history & writing, Dont take this class. SOC is supposed to be fun, he doesnt seem to get that.
BORING. A LOT OF NOTES. LOTS OF WRITING (only half covered on the test) RABBLES ON ABOUT THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN HISTORY...THIS GUY SHOULD JUST BE A HISTORY TEACHER! FALL'13 TAKE MY ADVICE, I'M TAKING THIS CLASS RIGHT NOW...dont do it. *drake voice*
Great teacher and easy class. Just take notes and read them before the exams and you'll be fine. The textbook was useless for me.
Don't take this class. It's overrated. The way he explains thing are too hard to understand. He uses a really high level of terminology that you won't understand. He gives really bad examples too. He ALWAYS say "Things to those nature like".
Professor Mele is an guy that wants you to good in class and is nice but to be honest his way of teaching style is very boring and cant give good examples. The class overall bores you out. To do good in his class just copy his notes and study from them the work on computer is useless and those questions hardly come on the exam
Mele was a good professor. Not too hard to get an A in the class if you try. Go to class, read the book, do the extra credit assignment which you can get 5 points extra credit which equates to 10 percent on the exam. Classes are even recorded and put online.
SOC 101 is very boring, exams can be tricky ESPECIALLY w/ T/F questions. Class can be very boring. Copy the notes from lec and study those, don't depend 100% on study guide. Nice guy but boring subject as a whole. Easy A. Don't underestimate the exams though!!!! Grade is dependent upon 4 exam grades, thats it.
He is such a cool professor. He’s hilarious. If you’re interested and engaged you’ll do fine grades-wise. He brought sociology to life outside the classroom. He’s inspirational.
He is nice and fun, BUT he is NOT the best soc lecturer. It's a good thing that he brings soc out into the physical world by assigning assignments, but the assignments are REALLY heavy and it requires you to travel to places quite a lot of times, therefore requires alot of time just on the assignments. His lectures can be boring and dry.
I thought soc 101 was going to be easy. But the test are very tricky and he is a very dry teacher. Retaking this class this semester.
Professor Mele is absolutely amazing. Very straightforward man with a great passion of his work. Lectures are hilarious and available online for you to go back. Four test format, tests could be tricky but not impossible. Randomly give out extra point for participation. But DONT count on that. Take this class, you will fall in love with it.
Says the weirdest stuff sometimes but he's absolutely fantastic and keeps the class engaged. Pay attention in class and you'll do fine. He's always willing to answer your questions.
Professor Mele is a really funny guy who makes boring lectures fun and interesting. Really doesn't assign any homework and will sometimes give surprise extra credit if you show up to class. Highly recommend.
Professor Mele is hilarious and his lectures are somewhat entertaining. The book is completely unnecessary-the only textbook/online program I definitely wasted money on this semester. If you study his lectures verbatim, the test questions tend to be based off of exactly that. The material is incredibly easy.
Lectures were clear and recorded for viewing again and studying. Attendance wasn't mandatory and there were only 4 tests which added up to your final grade. Overall enjoyable and easy.
Topics are explained very clearly. Mele really cares how his students do and keeps the class entertained with his dark humor. Grade is based entirely on 4 multiple choice tests that are very aligned with lecture and book material. Some students may not like that he makes you copy a lot of notes. I would highly recommend him.
He is a funny, very inspirational professor. He does make corny jokes, but hey, it is better than nothing. He does put up all his lecture notes on UBlearns, as well as his lecture recordings. It should be easy for you to get credit for this course.
Not a great lecturer as far as teaching, but has a great dry sense of humor that keeps class interesting. Sometimes gives out extra credit for showing up to class. Will turn off mike and give away test answers to people who come to class. Basically show up, and you don't need to do any other work. Tells you exactly what will be on the exam.
Mele is the man. He is always cracking jokes during lecture which can help cheer you up! Only four tests so you need to do well on those. However it is quite easy to do well if you show up to class. He will tell you exactly what is going to be on the test, if you go to lecture you can ace the course without studying at home. Take notes on a laptop!
Grade is based on 4 test grades, lowest one was dropped. Lectures are all posted online and tells you exactly what's on the tests. Textbook is needed! He is a pretty funny dude, made a drinking game out of his lecture for every time he says "in essence." Definitely take!
Intelligent, straightforward and engaging professor who grades using a few tests (with extra credit opportunities included). What more could you ask for?
Go to class! He gives random extra credit for those who show up. He is a great professor and a funny guy. If i was a sociology major i would definitely keep taking his classes. Stick with the class even if you mess up a test, he has a nice surprise at the end of the semester.
Yes. I do not regret taking this class. Though at first I thought about sociology having a lot of readings, this class DOES NOT. You can just read off his slides and pass exams. Funny guy loves making jokes in the middle of lectures. Def would take his class again if I could.
The only grade in the class is your four test grades, there is no homework or quizzes. Lectures are recorded but his powerpoints aren't and he goes way to fast for you to write everything down. He's extremely dry and boring and you probably won't learn anything. Isn't clear about what information is actually put on the tests.
Mele is a very nice guy and attempts to make jokes and relates to his students. His lectures are recorded and have clear information, but the tests sometimes get too specific with questions. He drops 1 of 4 exams so make sure you do well on them because those are the only grades you'll get.
He is dry but can be very funny. His lectures do drag, but make sure you copy down the slides. He tells you exactly what will be on the exam, and the readings basically overlap. Test questions are very specific, but if you study your lecture notes, you will be ok. Also, DO WELL ON THE FIRST 3 EXAMS! If you do, you're in for a treat:)
the thing is he takes his class way too seriously, than he should be taking. Putting 92.5 as an A with no curve--- I think that's why too STRINGENT for a 2 level Sociology class. I took it as a gen-ed and got an A-. Plus, he is very rigid (no extra credits), I was 0.5% away from an A. But he couldn't care less. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Great proffesor, you can really tell he loves the material he teaches. If you show up to the lectures, take notes, and study just a little, you should have no trouble getting A's on all the tests. The lectures can get a bit dry at times, but he does his best to keep interesting, and usually succeeds. He's also hilarious.
His tests are easy if you study all his lectures. You dont need a textbook for this class. Attendance is not mandatory and theres lecture recordings. I will take this professor again.
Professor Mele makes lectures more bearable through his sense of humor. He is a great guy and he also has lectures recorded and posted online. As long as you take notes and spend time reviewing them before tests, you'll do fine! (Tests are the only grades in this class)
I hate lecture based classes but Mele made his lectures actually interesting and he has a good sense of humor to keep you tuned in.
Super easy class. Just make sure you either go to class or watch the lectures and it's an easy A. Only graded on 2 quizzes from Mind tap and 4 tests. All easy and has a great review session before. Hints on things to know for the tests. Overall nice professor.
Overall, a great professor. He makes the lectures easy to understand and the tests are incredibly easy as long as you show up or watch the lectures. A good amount of questions are straight from mind tap, so it's an easy few points. Very easy class, just lecture heavy and grades are based on exam scores.
I would definitely take Mele again - I had him for SOC 101 and SOC 206 and got an A in both courses no problem. His lectures are clear, they are recorded and posted on UBLearns, but he says a lot of exam questions in class and messes with the mic so people who don't go to class and watch it online can't hear. He also drops the lowest test score!!
He is a good guy but his lectures are very boring.
This man loves popping jokes and will have the entire class laughing. I realized that I could just skip class and take notes on the textbook to get the grades I needed. Super easy pathway and highly recommend whether or not you want to go to class. 4 exams make up the grade, and he drops the lowest one. They are all multiple choice.
His lecture is very boring. Underlining for the whole hour. If you can't focus very well don't take this class. I need to force myself to the lecture. You can also watch at home. just make sure you really watch it or you won't pass.
His lecture is the most boring class I have ever taken. He doesn't even show up at the exams. He uses paper reading materials instead of powerpoint. I don't even think he makes his own exams because all the questions are from Mindtap.
He explains the topics well, and is a very well spoken man. This year he did 4 tests, 50 questions worth 25% each. They were pretty easy if you re-watched the lectures and just studied the notes he gave in his class. He even dropped the lowest test, so I didn't have to take the last test. Just do well on the first three its an easy class.
He is super interesting to listen too. I believe his videos & links related to society are effective to highlight social problems in society. Getting an A in is easy, all you have to do is watch his lectures a she generously tells you everything on the test. He cares more about you learning than memorizing. Show up for extra credit & skip the final
He reads the text, explains in detail, and underlines. He tells you (for the most part) what is definitely going to be on the test, and what most likely will not be on the test. If you study the notes, take the online practice tests, you should be okay. If you want to get a deeper understanding, read the online text, it helps. Worst test dropped.
Hes notes are all given in lectures and are projected via a paper camera. The problem with this is he moves the notes at the rate it takes for him to read them, not the rate it takes to write or type them, let alone interpret and annotate. He does film his lectures if you miss something, which you will. He is also unapproachable.
101 is an easy pathway with Mele if that's what you're looking for. Class is graded on 4 exams (lowest one is dropped.) Lectures are boring but he tries to make them more interesting. The class before the exam, he highlights everything in the notes that is a test question, he makes it very easy. The exams were true/false and multiple choice. No HW!
This was your typical introduction class. Only graded on four exams throughout the semester. Attendance is not mandatory, the class size will most likely be big. Lectures are recorded and posted online after class. Gives exam reviews (also recorded and posted), majority of the exam can be taken from only studying the reviews, not all. Easy grade.
Grade is based only off 4 exams - 1 of which he drops. Lecture notes are so extremely boring and long.. my hand was about to fall off by the end of lecture. He records his lectures, but sometimes gives extra credit if you go to class. Tests are easy, he tells you exactly what's on them. Don't waste money on the textbook. He's funny and easy going.
Kinda dry, and lectures can drag, but overall interesting and funny. Show up to class, take good notes, and study what he tells you to study and you're smooth sailing. He got me to fall in love with Sociology!
Tests are so similar to the notes he gives in lectures. His lectures are pretty dry and boring, but he occasionally slips in a sarcastic comment or joke. He doesn't use powerpoints, he projects typed out paper notes.
No homework, weekly lectures which are recorded and 4, 50 questions test that are straight out of what he says in lecture. I already signed up for his 206 course and cannot wait.
Your grade is only determined by 4 tests and they are not easy at all. Also, some questions on the tests are not learned and mentioned during the class.
Cool Guy, but can be very boring at times. Never went to class and only studied the day before exams. He didn't tell us until after Exam 4 he was going to drop an exam. 50 multiple choice questions each 4 Exams. Light Work
Professor Mele is such an easy going, laid back guy. His course is interesting and is an easy A. He gives four exams, all worth 25%. Before each test he goes through all our notes and highlights EXACTLY what is on the test. Best professor! Highly recommend for any class!
His lectures are boring. 100% will fall asleep every class. I just dont go to class and when the test comes, I study his study guide because its literally everything on the test. Easy A if you study the study guide. Only graded by 4 tests.
Def an easy pass, class is based on four tests just study and you'll be fine. Not the most fun lectures but def not the worst, he makes a lot of jokes. I would re-take.
Prepare to read the textbook for your grade. Just listening to his lecture will not help. Youtube and textbooks helped if you're lost in class. He gives good review before the test but the review will be totally different from the test. DON'T RELY ON THE REVIEW AS THE ONLY PART OF STUDYING. It will be a bad mistake.
This teacher explain very clearly and follow the textbook and let you know exactly what on the test however class is graded by 4 test that it. Hes great for online class as he dont give any homework or take any attendance
Given the fact that we are in a pandemic and many college kids are struggling, he doesn't seem to care. Lectures are long, and the test questions he gives are confusing from the notes. Nice, but not caring about your grades, I wouldn't take him again. Asked for help or to round the grade but wasn't changing it no matter what.
Take this class! It is graded by 4 exams and he posts a review lecture before every exam that tells you exactly what you have to know. The text book is not necessary. 2 lectures a week that are interesting and about 50 minutes each.
SOC 101 was tough. Prof Mele was a fine professor. You have 4 tests and that's the only way to pull your grade. Read, and attend lecture. Would not take again.
Professor Mele is a really cool teacher and person in general. He obviously is knowledgeable about his work, and inputs such in an easily understood way within his lectures. He makes learning about the difficulties people face in the world fascinating. Textbook chapters are lengthy, but the class is worth it.
You have to read to do good and he doesn't drop a test as i was told. But yea he gives reviews which tells you whats supposed to be on the exam but thats not enough to do well. Only 4 exams which is bad or good. If you're willing to read take him hes a good teacher
Do NOT take this class with Mele as a pathway if you are a bad testtaker, or you are not in Sociology major. He grades you solely by 4 test with no curve/ or drop. One test can badly ruin your grades.
Professor Mele is a great professor, his lectures are so interesting and you can tell he really cares about what he is teaching. He only grades based on four exams which are open note and the questions are usually verbatim form the lectures. I will pass this class with an A and havent opened the book all semester. Love this guy.
mele is fantastic!! i absolutely love him. you can tell that he cares about his class and puts up the lectures on time instead of reposting lectures from months ago. his tests are simple. straight from the lectures. i did not read the textbook in this class and managed to get 100s on his exams. study in a way that works for you. highly recommended!
Professor Mele is a very good Sociologist and his class is very easy to get an A in; your final grade comes from only 4 exams so even if you you bomb one of them, that will cost you your A, DONT LET THAT HAPPEN !! . lectures are unfortunately long and boring mostly w/ a lot of writing so try to plan ahead... review before exam and you'll be fine...
He was AIIGh. He doesnt give homework or extra credit ( so dont bother asking). He only gives out 4 tests for the whole semester and they are of course based on the lectures which are long and boring.
The teacher is great, the lectures are easy to follow cause it's his own notes. The exams are open note, so just study your notes but there's only 4 of them so don't mess it up. Really easy class, you don't even need the textbook. It's a breeze just follow the material and you should be fine.
Great professor. He uses his own notes that are extremely easy to follow. Students are graded by 4 exams which are very easy to get an A on. They are open note.
I really enjoyed taking his SOC101 course! His classes were quite easy to follow along with, and I really liked how the only work we did was take 4 exams throughout the semester. I appreciated the light work load and interesting lectures! Definitely take SOC101 with him if it's a req for you :)
The recorded lectures are long and boring but his exams are open book. This class is solely based on exams though since he gave no homework.
Easy class to take online. You can watch all the lectures on your own time before the exam and the exams weren't too bad. It was 50 questions based on the review he gives before the test. He is also quick at emailing students back.
As long as you watch his lectures, easy 100 on all the exams. Grade is determined by four tests and that's all. Very simple and an easy A, in my opinion.
He's ok. Very very strict on grading, wouldnt even round a 92.5 to 93 (A) as stated in the syllabus. Lectures are a good length. Only graded on 4 exams so one exam can cost you your mark. Be sure not to mess up on any of the exams. Exams are relatively simple.
This course was remote. It was not hard at all, just watch the lectures for the test and your average should be fine. Keep in mind he does NOT curve or drop your test grades. You have 4 exams in total.
This class was super easy. Only 4 exams total and that is the only assignments for the entire class. The exams are not hard if you watch the lectures online, they are about 45 minutes each.
Online course, at least for me. Lectures were boring, sure, but they're no longer than any other lectures. Grade is based on 4 exams that are open note. Take good notes and stay caught up, and you'll ace this class.
Loved this class, it was asynchronous (no zoom) & lectures were posted every morning on the days class was scheduled. Lecture vids would be anywhere from 30-50 mins. Tests were mainly based on the lectures, it helps to copy word for word since some questions are taken right from slides. Got textbook but never read it. Graded on 4 tests & no hw.
Overall really good course.
Easy class pretty much! No hw just graded on 4 tests but it's like common sense. I wouldn't buy the textbook tbh. He provides notes and you just fill in blanks where needed. He talks kinda slow so you might want to speed up the videos. But he's honestly really nice and clear on the topics. And he provides a review before every test on what to know!
This class is a very easy class to do well in. The class was online and the lecture videos were available to watch at all times so you could do them when you had time. The videos may be boring but have note docs and he goes over the same doc for you to fill in. The class is graded by 4 online exams and are easy if you study and watch his review.
Not hard at all. Only graded by 4 tests but the tests are pretty easy. All open notes not lockdown browser. I wish his notes were better presented though they are all in paragraphs and too many words. Sometimes I wish he would teach simpler. Makes an easy topic sound harder. Still take him though! Easy class and ending with an A! Nice guy:)
Possibly the easiest class I've taken in my entire life. Never went to a lecture (online), only graded on 4 exams throughout the semester which are all open note and common sense questions.
He was a little boring, but he explained everything very thoroughly and his exams were fair.
This was a very easy class. Grades were based on four exams and the questions were pulled straight from the lecture videos (I didn't even purchase the textbook). The only downside is that the lecture videos can be extremely long and boring, and the lecture notes he gives are paragraph heavy. Overall though, it was an easy A.
Super easy class. Only posts recorded lectures online and was asynchronous for me even though his class had a time slot on my schedule. Doesn't use lockdown browser. Highly recommend
