Professor Morales is one of the most interesting and passionate professors I have had the pleasure of learning from. His lectures were engaging, and his enthusiasm for biology was contagious. He was always available to answer questions, discuss course material, or just chat about life in general. If you have the chance to take him, do it!

You know when you get a prof. and you get frustrated because they don't care about you or if you learn? Prof Morales is NOT like that. He cares so much about his students, makes you do a lot of homework but provides you with the right content for you to be able to do it, he's amazing. Give him a chance and you'll enjoy biology too!

Professor Morales is one of the best professors I have ever had! He's extremely knowledgable on the material that he was teaching and broke everything down in a way that made sense. He told great stories that actually related to the material unlike those professors that go on tangents that have nothing to do with the topic. I would take him again!

Professor Morales is definitely one of my favorite professors. You can tell he loves to teach and to be here, he is extremely fun to be around and he is not one of those professors where you dread walking into class. He's a very easy grader and there is not much to be graded on either. I highly recommend taking him for bio and bio lab :)!

Professor Morales was a pleasure to have for this course. He was funny, smart, and really broke the subject in student friendly language. He really tries to engage his students through classroom activities and genuinely wants us to learn. Quizzes at the end of class could be tricky, but there not bad if you pay attention. Definitely take him!

Great teacher, took him for both lecture and lab. He uses language which makes the information very easy to understand as well makes sure to have the class prepared prior to any tests. Attendance is mandatory as there are in classes quizzes after each lecture however just show up and pay some what attention and you should have no problem.

Professor Morales is a very kind and thoughtful person. His lectures are interesting and engaging, and he explains concepts in a way that is easy to comprehend. There will be quizzes at the end of each class, so pay attention. Another thing is that he always provides exam reviews that make taking the test very easy as long you study the material.

Definitely a prof that respects you & your time. Don't think we ever stayed the full 3 hours lecture, if you are on campus you can take exams early and go home. Tests are essentially just the Powerpoint. Didnt expect Bio to be memorable but he was very engaging & I enjoyed the banter and shenanigans for sure. Im sure your career will take you far

Overall great teacher, just be prepared for an easy laid-back semester when taking his course. Friendly environment with new friends to acquire, theres no pressure when submiting your homework.

The professor created a friendly atmosphere in class and encouraged group work, which brought the students closer together. I would be very happy to take a course with this professor again :)

He is amazing and overall a very cool professor. Very easy to reach out to and knows his stuff. Gives you study guides and does care about how well you do in his class. You should pay attention to lectures and do online assignments for a good grade.

Professor Morales is literally one of the best professors I've had. Taking online courses can be a struggle with a busy schedule and being dual enrollment, but he was extremely understanding of this allowing us to take the class at our own pace. He replies fast to emails and questions too. If you balance your time you will do good in this course.

He was funny, interesting, and caring. Answered any questions and easy assignments. I had him for a lab and as the semester went on, it got even easier. I would take him again.

Would definitely take a class with this professor again! It was fully online and you are able to go at your own pace. Everything you could need is in included in the course. From practice quizlets for tests, to presentations embedded in the course.

Professor Morales is the BEST science professor I've ever had, he really does care and helps answer any questions you may have outside of the classroom plus he's so easy to talk to. If you don't get an A+ in his class it's because you didn't show up to class or utilize the study guides for the exams. 10/10 would take again

Prof. Morales was an amazing professor. I took him for the Lab over the summer. He was super fast to reply whenever I had questions. He was also an easy grader and made what he was looking for clear when grading. The final was worth 25% of the overall grade but he allowed two attempts. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to take biology.

professor made understanding the concepts easy, tests were tricky because even though he gave a study guide, it was pretty broad and didnt really help. short quiz given after each lecture, which was helpful for retention. he wants to see you succeed 100%. hands down best professor Ive had, just wish he was going to be teaching bio 2 next semester.

I had him for the Bio Lab and he was very nice and always able to explain the lab very well. Quizzes were easy too.

He is the best biology professor that I have had so far during college. This is my second year and he has made biology such a fun topic to learn about. He is super funny and really chill. I have always loved science so that may be why it was easier for me, but even if you are falling back a little, he is very caring and considerate.

Professor Morales is an excellent instructor who genuinely cares about his students' success in biology. He explains topics clearly and provides resources to support learning. While his class isn't easy, he's approachable and always willing to help. If you put in the effort, his expectations and supportive approach make it possible to succeed.

Mr.Morales overall is an extraordinary teacher that truly loves what he does. He also gives study guides before each exam, but don't rely on them directly. They cover the main points, but you still need to read over the PowerPoints/textbooks to fully understand the material. I take him again if he taught Bio II without a doubt.

Professor Morales is honestly great. He makes the lab enjoyable and understandable. He makes the labs informative and if you do not understand anything from your lecture he will break it down easily. The midterm is manageable and he allows you to use your written notes. You will not regret taking his course.

Professor M is a chill professor that knows his stuff. He's the type to say something funny without even trying. I'm taking him for lecture and lab & currently have an A, hopefully it ends that way. He goes over his powerpoints and we take a 5-question graded quiz which is open note. FSW please let this man teach Bio ll and Microbiology as well.

Professor Morales is a very good professor who's super nice and funny. He understands the struggle of a college student, so he's very lenient on many things. After every lecture, a mini quiz is given and make sure you do well on them. Don't rely heavily on the study guides for tests he gives and study the ENTIRE powerpoints. Impossible to not pass.

His lectures are well thought through and make are put in terms to help you easily understand. It is not difficult to make conversation with him and he is pretty laid back. Also he is very understanding if you ever need to miss class.

I would 100% recommend this professor, the class is simple you just have to show up.

Bio1 was a simple you're given the lecture, you take a quiz on the material right after. Tests have a study guide. I cram before class and get an A or B every time. Not the best way to retain information but this class had nothing to do with my major. He understands that if you're going into a science field the classes will only get more difficult.

Professor Morales is one of the best professors at the college if not the best professor. His class was amazing, you could use one page of notes for every major exam, he's a really fair grader, and he drops your lowest score at the end of the year, it is almost impossible not to pass his class.

Professor morales is hands down one of my favorite professors!!! Biology is not really my thing but his lab and lecture quickly became something I looked forward to! Your grade is dependent on 4 tests and the final but don't worry, as long as you study the materials he gives you, you'll be fine! The labs are super fun and I would recommend him!

He was easy-going and understanding of any situation. His lectures were simple and easy to understand. I was in his lab class and wish I were also in his main class. He gave out minimal work, and it was not difficult whatsoever. A 10/10 prof

This professor is a great guy. I think he was going to take some other classes, but I'm not sure what he was going to do, so look for this professor's name. He's really nice, and I would recommend anybody take him. He'll save your bacon if you don't go to class by accident.

Really chill as well as very funny professor. Class was pretty straightforward in the grading sense. Show up and you'll find its alot easier to pass, dont show and you know you'll get a zero for that assignment. He's also super willing to explain and help students during class. This class offers assignments, study guides, and test reviews to help improve grades. Lectures include slideshows with some test notes he adds during. Staying on top of work will make you pass; sometimes, skipping the final is possible if you finish the class with an A.

Take him take him take him. He is the best teacher I have ever had. He lectures and class and then gives a 3 question open-book quiz at the end which counts as your attendance. Posts study guides and exams correlate to them well. As long as you listen and pay attention you are guaranteed to do well. His labs were very straightforward.

I have about two weeks until I finish this course, but his course has really enhanced my understanding of biology. I take a different professor for lab, but his lectures and the extensive note taking helped me maintain an A in both classes. Definitely to study, he does drop one exam grade but I would recommend to get higher than an 85%. Good luck!

Professor Morales' class will push you, but you'll learn something for sure. As a person who hates biology, he made me actually enjoy the class. Exams can be tough, but he does everything to make sure you understand the material. He's organized and willing to meet you halfway so you pass. If you come to class and participate, you'll be fine!

He's one of the best professors I've had in my life. He's really relax and funny. Everybody participates as a group, we have fun in the lab while we learn new things every week. As long as you submit the lab reports and go to class every week, you will get an A for sure. The lab sections are really enjoyable and easy to understand. He's the best!

Unc really understands the material and is a very relatable down to earth guy. The connections he makes with other ideas in bio really set the path for my other courses in science. Just take notes in the lecture and do the study guides.

Professor Morales is great teacher, and really wants his students to do well. The workload is manageable, and as long as you pay attention during lecture and take notes, you should be fine. He gives a quiz at the end of class based on what he says, and the lecture coincides with the exams as well.

This is a very good professor to have. He is lenient with when you have to turn things in and will let you turn them in later. He is funny and very down to earth compared to other professors. He teaches in a way that is easy to understand and will teach you about things that can help you more than just the base curriculum.

Not sure why professor M got a bad rating-he is straightforward with labs and went over the directions thoroughly. He went out of his way to explain unfamiliar concepts students had not learned yet since we have different lecture professors. If you show up on time and complete your labs carefully, you should have no issues. Wish he taught BIOII!

Being how this is the first Bio lab I've taken outside of HS, I appreciated how me broke down basic concepts to us. He reviewed every lab we went over, and demonstrated how to complete it and assisted with drafting our labs as well. He really is passionate about science and it shows. I def would take him again and wish he taught Bio 2.

Great professor. I should've gotten an A but ended up with a B—NOT his fault. He's strict with deadlines and won't accept late work. Midterm and final are challenging but fair if you study the review guide. Don't fall behind or miss labs since points add up fast. Good time management is key.

Without a doubt one of my favorite professors in my academic history. Somehow makes a tedious subject actually engaging and fun, and has an exceptional sense of humor (unexpected coming into college). Might be the only professor I'd ever do chemistry with. Every student needs to take this course, and a lot of it is busy work - but Professor M made the information easy to digest, and accessible. He is very clear about the assignments and deadlines. This class was dreadful but that was not Prof M's fault. There are a lot of assignments but he did his best to make everything clear. He updated us weekly on whats required, and the deadlines. I honestly was not looking forward to this class since its required for everyone to take, but he made it pretty simple to understand. The material isnt difficult, but the assignments can pile up pretty quick which is the most annoying part of the class. To do well you need good time management but he provides weekly reminders to keep us on track

For a general requirement, the department makes this course annoying. Mostly random life skill/wellness things that pile up - discussion boards, project, etc.Professor tried to make it digestible by explaining directions and providing templates

Best professor at FSW! This course is annoying, but he makes it as simple as possible. He also helps guide you for the MGP project which could be annoying - but having him is so much better than any other professor.

He was very understanding - his goal was to always make sure we left the room knowing what we were doing and why we were doing it. While is typically teaches biology, he made this course simple, and straight forward which isn't always the case as people I know who took this course with other professor struggled. TAKE HIS CLASS - you wont regret it!

He's a very good professor and answers any questions delivered to him. Really tries his hardest for us to understand the material, not just memorize it. With that being said, exams can be a bit tough but not impossible given he has a study guide for each one.
