Prof. Nichols is the coolest professor I've ever had. He has a very current teaching style & will keep you involved in class with the witty things he says. Very up-to-date with the times. Will talk to you about anything and everything. Very good at giving feedback on papers in a timely manner. Overall: Great professor, great class. 5 Stars.

I loved this professor, he is one of the funniest teachers I've had. At the same time however, he is a great teacher that gives amazing feedback.

Never had the chance to fall asleep in this class because he kept everything so interesting. Will make you laugh the whole class. Papers are hard but he grades your papers very easily as long as you follow all of the guidelines. Overall the best professor I have had and I would definitely take his classes again.

In my opinion it's a boring subject, but Nichol's is a great teacher and that eases the pain. He's one you are likely to remember fondly for years to come.

He's cool. He's kinda weird. Like the first day his hand was twitching and we watched it for like 2 minutes. But like he's cool. I liked him.

Really great! Really funny! Best teacher I've had. He's really chill. It's a pretty easy class, as long as you just follow the directions. He even gives you chances to revise your essays. It's really not that hard.

Gosh, he is funny and engaging. His lectures are great and he includes lots of examples and stories so I really get it. He lets you know what he wants in the assignments, and he will let you revise essays up to full credit. Awesome professor, I learned a lot.

Really awesome teacher! I'm definitely taking him for english 2. If you try on the papers you'll pass just fine. He gives you a second chance to redo the essays. That right there is priceless.

Nichols is so funny and never fails to keep the class entertained. His assignments are too difficult, and if you don't receive the grade you want he tells you how to improve. Would definitely recommend Nichols to anyone.

Nichols does a very good job at explaining things and what he wants you to do, as well as what he doesn't want you to do. He's really funny. When you do something that's incorrect or that he doesn't like he gives helpful feedback. Really like this teacher!!!

I really enjoyed Nichols' class, he's extremely entertaining and personable. Nothing was too hard. My one (mild) complaint is that every now and then he goes off on tangents (generally funny, though) that don't really relate to anything and you don't get much actually done in class.

Pretty funny, serious about his job so stuff gets graded. He also gives chances to get your grade up so you better not fail.

Super funny and gets off topic (but in a good way!) I would definitely take his class again. He seems to actually want us to learn something, unlike other teachers. I would recommend him to anyone.

I absolutely love Mr. Nichols and his class. I hated poetry going in and he made it fun, he is very easy going and so understanding. He is understanding, but still gets the respect he deserves. His teaching style is amazing, he always makes sure you understand. I hate talking in front of people but he makes it so much better and makes me not nervou

Mr. Nichols is a great teacher and wants you to succeed. He is very open to questions and is ready to help if you need him. He also gives clear instruction as to what he wants from you when you write your essays. He also gives a lot of opportunities for essay revisions, basically if you do not initially get the paper grade you want, you can fix it!

Very funny, good prof. Does give many quizzes, labs, and papers. If you do the work on time (which its really not all that difficult to do), it'll be a breeze. Amazing professor :)

Covers everything expected in class. Quizzes are over material from class and the textbook. You are provided with feedback over your required essays and the opportunity to correct to receive a higher grade. Mr. Nichols provides opportunity for grade improvement and extra credit.

This class is hard to fail. As long as you do the work, you should pass fine. He gives multiple attempts at revisions and directs you on what to do to pass.

Excellent teacher and excellent class, I learned more from Mr. Nichols than I have throughout my entire time in high school, 10/10 would take again.

I've really struggled with this class, but that's probably because I'm not used to my education being tested by back-to-back, well structured essays. I appreciate that this course and teacher will definitely improve my writing and research abilities. Side note: if you're up for good conversation, Mr. Nichols is more than capable.

Nichols class is very relaxed. I was worried about English class can be very stress filled, but I was never stressed in his class. The extra credit he offers his easy to attain, feedback on papers is clear and easy to follow, and he tries to give students as many opportunities as he can to get a good grade in his class. He is a great teacher.

Really GREAT professor who makes English not so boring. Few essays with exact feedback and ability to correct. Just turn everything in and you'll make at the very least a B.

Hes very willing to help you succeed. Provides great feedback, tells you exactly what he is looking for, and will always take the time to explain in depth anything you need help understanding. Just prepare yourself for lots of left leaning political references in lectures

Really enjoyed both classes I took. Even though English is my least favorite subject, I always liked coming to class and learning about literature because you made it fun.
