Definitely a great teacher, very funny and made the material fun to learn. Be ready to discuss the material a lot. The workload wasn't too bad but was still a little time-consuming. Great class!

Mr. Page creates a peaceful and inviting environment. The time flies during his class. Two books were assigned to read during the semester. The final contains one research paper and one in-class essay. He is an intelligent professor with great interest in his students. A lot of group discussions throughout the semester which are fun!!

The class is easy. Since it was a summer class, it went by fast. But he is clear on what the assignments are. If you are confused, he replies fast to the emails. The books assigned are boring, but the assignments for them are straightforward. He's funny and nice, and he wants you to succeed.

Took Professor Page's English 1A class for the fall semester. In a nut shell, he's a great instructor but be ready to work. The semester starts with short stories and poems. See, I dislike writing in general; however, Professor Page made the subject tolerable. When grading he is not biased and gives back positive feed back as well as constructive criticism. I definitely recommend those who are taking English 1A to enroll in his class.

Professor Page is great! Right away, if you dont like working in group projects dont take him! Overall i think he gave about 5 essays? Maybe a few less. Sometimes the book was needed but you could still pass without it. He's very helpful and gives you the option to rewrite essays and visit him during office hours if you really need insight.

Coming into the class I was very apprehensive, but Mr. Page was extremely supportive and instilled a level of confidence in my writing that I haven't had for a while. You will have to read two books which will be analysed in class to help you understand the material better, and write about 4 or five essays.

The best English 1A teacher at El Camino. If you hate English you'll love it after this class. His essays have clear and easy prompts. The only part of the class that might seem difficult is the debate at the end of the semester. If you're like me and dont like speaking infront of the class, i got through the debate saying literally only one word.

Professor Page is FAB. He understands that this is entry level English and has constructed the class accordingly. He has quizzes, but they are more for the purpose of helping you learn the most important aspects of lecture - you can retake them as many times as you want. Essays were all straight-forward, except the research paper confused me a bit.

Professor Page is the best! He gives group project/seminars which is a lot more interesting than you'd think. Although his 5-page essays are rigorous, he gives feedback for you to make up for them to earn bonus points. Highly recommended!!

Chilll and laid-back teacher. Cares about his students and wants them to get a good grade. He won't just pass you just because he likes you, however. You will have to read three books if I remember correctly and write an essay about each. Midterm was 5-page research paper. Final was essay on a movie. No shortcuts but fairly easy grader and caring.

Assignments will be around 5 essays throughout the semester 5 pages, with easy outlines, and brainstorming paragraphs for each essay. The assignments are fun and helpful also the class gets to pick the criteria for each essay! He explains the criteria in-depth for those who don't pick up easily. Overall a very witty teacher and fun to learn from.

He is one of the first professors I've taken on campus and I'm glad because he's probably the most patient person I've ever met. A super relaxed and nice man. There will be papers, about five, but they're not particularly difficult as long as you stay on track. A lot of the lecture is spent working on assignments and he'd circulate around to help.

I took this class during winter break. It was honestly pretty easy. The teacher gives a more than manageable work load. He always allows you to turn assignments in up to two days late and he does not take away points for them being late. He has a clear grading criteria and will proof read your essays. Its an overall easy and quick class.

Easy A. I took his class during the winter (2023), it was easy to keep up with his workload, easy essays and assignments. I had difficulty submitting and emailed him, he got back to me quickly and said not to worry about it. I also missed an assignment when I was sick and emailed him, he said he hoped I go better and to submit it whenever I could.
