Not alot of things to do, but just take notes for the exams. 40% of grade examns, 40% of grade question from book (very easy), 20% judgement, attenence, etc.

This guy was very entertaining and hilarious. I actually enjoyed class and looked forward to going to it. I learned a ton too.

Okay, he's a really cool teacher and makes the class a lot of fun with his jokes and everything, but girls, beware: do not give him your screen name at the beginning of class! He will IM you every time you go online and it gets a little creepy.

The class was easy because he made it interesting enough to remember. He taught our class on Sat mornings and it was never hard to get up and come.

He is an awesome teacher and a great NON CREEPY guy outside of class. (He talks to the male students just as much as the females) ;). I would take his class again in a heartbeat.

He is a cool teacher, makes everything funny. The stories he tells make everything interesting. I never liked going to class before this one. He dresses kind of funky though. Doesn't he own anything that isn't black? I hope I can have him for another class.

I only say the class is easy because of Mr. Park's talent for making the sometimes morbid subject of psychology not only endurable, but fascinating. In today's society, if a teacher tries to contact a student, especially a belly-shirted mtv female one, he is labeled creepy. Nuts to that. He's legit.

He makes the subject of psy fun to learn.U will use the book,so get it. Take notes and go2 class.Watch the movies and write about them.Final paper instructions wasnt very clear.And I agree,he likes to chat outside the classroom and it can get annoying/creepy. Any ?'s just ask.

Dr. Parks is THE man of psychology. I loved his class more than any class I have ever taken before. He keeps it light hearted and funny, but still actually teaches at the same time. I actually enjoyed going to class. I learned more in this one class, then in all my years of schooling. Thanks Parks!

Awesome teacher, wasn't very interested in taking the class when it started I was relieved I actually began to look forward to be going to class. Just to look at him you would think he is a little strange but if you really listen to him he knows his stuff! Go Mr Parks!

I've really gotten to know Prof Parks since I took his class, and he really is a very kind, intelligent, and funny person. His class is a lot of fun and easy to pass. Very nice guy.

Parks is amazing, 1st you don't even think he's the prof. He is down-to-earth and has lots of real life examples to help you learn. I enjoyed his class and found it easy to go to. Tests are pretty easy. Don't really need the book, just study your notes. He gave us a couple take-home exams, too. Long, but not hard. He's sexy too, somehow!!!!!!!

Easiest class i have ever taken and so much fun, class gets very funny sometimes that if you walk in sleepy you'll walk out fresh and smile on your face, always ends class early, likes to take a day off when he is tired. You don't really need a book, he gives notes to you.

He was seriously the most interesting and most hilarious teacher I have ever had! He made the time fly by!!!! I remember everything from his lectures still! If you want a teacher who is passionate about his career and someone who will help you appreciate psychology, this is the teacher to get.

Awesome professor. Very intelligent. Barely used the book. Take home exams made my grade sky rocket. Saturday morning classes always are a drag but he made if fun to be there and we always enjoyed it. If he teaches it during the week take that instead if you can. I don't recommend Saturday morning classes.

Dr. Chris is amazing. He tells stories with each lesson- which makes learning SO much easier. He is FUNNY and outgoing. He is absolutely my favorite teacher at MCC! He gives Extra Credit, and his tests are very easy. I got a B+ and didn't have to try that hard but to this day I remember everything he taught me because of his stories! He's the Best!

AMAZING PROFESSOR. He was hilarious and used examples from his life. He was very easy going and I actually looked forward to going to class! I learned so much in that class, and I would highly recommend taking a class with Parks.

Talks about sex & his addictions alot but he makes learning psych easy with his stories. Take notes off his lectures and you'll ace the tests. I recommend him, he made class enjoyable & as easy as possible.

Dr. Parks was great. He made the boring subject Psyc 1010 fun. It was easy to learn and comprehend. A bit creepy in some ways...but sexy.

took him for psych on a saturday class. he missed a few classes. taught the material very well, to a point where you remember it. to this day i remember his id, ego, super ego demonstration.

Outstanding professors! Christpher has a great sense of humor which made the lectures interesting and engaging. I thought that I would dread going to this class, but I really enjoyed it.

The BEST professor I have had yet. My senior year in highschool I took AP Psychology covering the exact same material and did not understand a thing. Prof Parks is hilarious, laid back, and will relate material to modern experiences. The work wasn't overwhleming, he was very fair and understanding. If you're taking Psych be sure to get Parks.

Prof. Parks was an awesome teacher! I am so lucky that I got to be in his class for Psych. He is a very good teacher and is 100% real with each and everyone of his students. His teaching technique is awesome and he uses some of his stories as examples and it helps clarify if you don't understand the topic that well. He is a great man!!!!

This professor is awesome. He explains concepts very easily and clearly. Teaches through stories in order to keep the class interested, while at the same time being educational. Very funny! I'd recommend this class to everyone!

Okay I love Dr. Parks!! He seriously is the best. This is my second psych class with him and he is the bomb .com. You watch movies, he lectures, and you have to answer a few questions from the book. The tests are super easy. Hes hilarious and if you don't have a sense of humor then don't take his class. You wont regret taking his class!

Dr. Parks is a fantastic professor. He brings real-world experience & knowledge to his lectures. Grades: 3-4 tests (20%), 2 questions for each chapter throughout the sem 40%. Participation/attendance account for another 20%. I didn't like that he doesn't post grades online however easy to keep track of. Would take again 100 times!

Parks has great lectures, he's really funny, and is simple (enough). As long as you do the readings attached with the questions, study for the exams with his study guides, and pay attention or engage in lecture you will be set.

Best professor ever. The lecture is not boring at all, he makes jokes all the time. it is a fun class and a fun professor. No stress at all. He gives the all necessary knowledge so you can use in daily life. He is the best, the most talented. Some people are simply meant to be so.

Amazing teacher, very easy to get an A. Almost never stay the full 4 hours, usually around 3. Explains course material thoroughly, the class doesn't feel very long.

Currently taking PSYCH 1010 with Dr. Park and it's a very easy class. He explains everything in his lectures perfectly and it makes it so easy for you to understand. The grading isn't bad at all, with 20% for attendance, 40% for HW, and 40% for the 4 tests, which by the way are 10 points each with 50 questions. He gives out a study guide as well.

Parks is a great teacher that clearly cares about his subject. It's psychology, so be ready for some left leaning opinions and lessons, but it's whatever. The tests are cumulative, and pretty easy. Come to class, do the exam reviews, study them and you'll do fine.

Dr. Parks is an exceptional teacher, always looked forward to attending his classes. He has a great sense of humor and uses real life experience to make learning psychology a lot of fun. Grading is straight forward, show up to class, do the reading and pay attention and you will have no trouble getting an A. I would highly recommend Dr. Parks.

Very good teacher, tells a lot of personal stories that help you relate to the topic being discussed. Very understanding and clear about what you have to do to succeed in his class. Very cool guy also.

I have taken many classes at Macomb. Parks is by far the best professor! He makes learning fun. Going to class was like going to a 4 hour stand-up comedy.
