Homework is fair and helps you prepare for the exams. Funny, uses comic relief to make accounting, an otherwise difficult and boring topic, interesting. Extremely willing to help and responds quickly. Relates concepts to real world examples and current events. Participation is important. Overall good professor.

Professor Chris is no doubt your best option for this class at MU. Topic is very boring (I hate accounting) but he makes it much more bearable. Very down to earth and tries to bring humor to an overall dry topic.

Chris is my favorite Accounting professor at Monmouth, hands down. He will help if he knows you are struggling. Accounting is a tough course, no question about it and Chris does whatever he can to make it as bearable as possible. Plus- he's funny, which always helps.

I enjoy going to class and learning from him. He is very open to helping students. I am able to text him any time if I am struggling with homework or when studying for an exam.

You get out early every night.

You will never stay longer than 2 hours in this class. Not strict at all and relays the information in a way that is incredibly easy to understand. Tests are easy too, if you study. I had no prior knowledge of accounting, other than hearing it was impossible, and I actually learned something and enjoyed this class.

He is one of the best professors you can take for accounting. Accounting is hard but he makes it sounds so simple and understandable. Totally enjoying this class. In order to pass this class you have to practice. Once you get how everything works its an easy A.

Very tough grader, but will definitely work with you. Offers lots of extra credit opportunities so take advantage of them. The class is only difficult due to Accounting being a difficult subject in general. I recommend taking him for this course to help understand the subject better.

Participation will help you in this class because he'll provide E.C. a lot of the time. This professor manages to make a hard subject teachable to people who are not accounting majors. We are in a three hour and have never stayed the whole time which is good. Do the homework it will help you understand what is going on in class. I would take him again because he is funny and when you do not understand something he makes time for you.

One of the best professors I have taken at Monmouth. Really funny guy who is great at teaching students and at simplifying concepts that may seem complicated at first. If you put forth effort in doing the homework and study, you can get whatever grade you deserve.

The topic itself is difficult but Professor Raykowski explains it really well and gives people plenty of opportunities to get clarification. He lets you text or email him for help on homework for his class and gives a ton of EC class to people who answer questions in class. Hes understanding and really funny. Classes never go the full 3 hours.

Professor Raykowski is one of my favorite professors so far because he is so accessible if you need help with your work. Although we go through the slides very fast, he gives you his info if you need help at home and replies almost instantly.

I can't imagine you getting a better professor for accounting. Take this class. Just do what he tells you to do, read the chapters before class, pay attention, and PLEASE go to his review sessions, he will go over things directly from the exams. He keeps class entertaining and was almost always let out an hour+ early. (3 hour class)

Professor Raykowski was an amazing Accounting professor. He made the subject of accounting bearable with his witty jokes and humor. He tends to fly through the material, but doesn't mind reiterating concepts. I don't recommend taking an accounting hybrid as I did, but the professor was great overall.

Professor Raykowski is great accounting skills and experience. He is very valuable in teaching this subject. He can be very fun and efficient. I would point out that online classes make accounting much more difficult to understand and to remain focused at all times. I think assignments should be better distributed throughout the semester.
