He's a great teacher. Chris keeps you interested in the topic and explains it very well. The tests are a bit difficult but reading the text and the notes will help a lot.

Robinson was very cocky. He asks like he knows he looks good. But in reality his skin is messy. Anyway he's tests & h.w. assignments are crazy. I came out with a B when I should have had an A if I understood what he wanted on the h.w.

He keeps class very interesting and he gives you the notes for the test. If you read your notes u should be fine. I enjoyed his class a lot.

I don't know wht class the student that said he was in a fight was going to, but he has never fought with a student! One of his students got in a fight...and if the material wasn't exciting, then maybe you just didn't understand it.

By far my favorite class, so far, this semester. He makes the material fun and relevant.

He's an excellent professor that make you think. Anyone who thinks he sucks thinks this way because they themselves are not "thinkers". It's a shame heis rating is as low as it is. It deserves to be much higher.

Robinson is a fairly arrogant person, but keeps his class entertained. You can get by with a C without doing anything, but an A is possible with a small amount of effort.

I took him a few semesters ago, and my roommate has him now and had him last semester. His classes are interesting, and keep you awake, but his tests are hard because he words things weird. There are also some questions where two or more of the answers may be right. His notes are online though.

I'm in his class now, and it's very difficult. I love psych, but I'm struggling to keep up. He's funny, the lectures are interesting, but fast paced. His test questions (esp. the take-home) were hard to understand. He wanted someone to mention that his fetish is NOT stilettos. I should get bonus!

CHRISTPOHER ROBINSON is great!!!! I am appauled at these rude, crass staements about him. Are you people that shallow to judge a person on looks? He talks in class from experience, he is passionate about what he does and is trying to present it in the most fun way for us, and all yall do is hate.

Great instructor. If you work hard and he knows that you are trying he will be very helpful and you will succeed in his class. Don't expect every professor to just give you an A. He makes you earn it, but you learn so much more this way.

He is easily accsesible and willing to help if you are willing to do the work. just go to his office and he will take the time to help you and explain it to you. He is easy to talk to. He is relaxed and knows how to connect with his students, and class is always interesting.

He is the best professor i have had in my life. His lectures are easy to follow and he uses great examples. He is always available outside of class (if you come to the class regularly). Also, he is sooo HOT. I just cant wait till his class to see him.

Entertaining Lecturer and a darn good one at that! His examples really helped me to remember a lot of the terms for the test. He's an interesting guy in and out of the class as well. Very easy to talk to. Guys, just beware of the fawning females in his classes. =)

His class was so much fun to go to, but you do have to study for his tests. There are around 80-90 questions on each test. He does give out extra bonus points during the semester though. But, you have to come to class to know about them. He's also pretty hot. The more you go to class, the hotter he seems to get!!

His class was very interesting. He is one of those professors that you will remember years from now. His powerpoint presentations are awesome. They help you when you take your test b/c they are so vivid and he encourages you to make them personal to apply to your daily life. He is very humorous. It would be hard to NOT enjoy this class. Im just going to be real... I got a "D" in the mans class because I asked him for it! He is cool and makes lectures interesting, but he is hard and you have to study.If you do not loke applied test,I do not suggest you take him! I had him in Spring '04, but I hear that he has loosened up some now!

Courses I've taken with him... Intro to Psych, Intro to Cognitive Science, Psych of Learning. Currently taking him for: Cognitive Psychology and Human Sexuality. By far some of the best courses I've taken because he is so funny. If you get offended easily, DON'T TAKE HIM YOU WIMP!

This is one of the best professors at UAB. Thank GOD someone thinks for themself! The material is explained in thorough detail in a manner which makes it easy to learn. I recommend this class to everyone! As to the people who think this class is too hard,lol, good luck in higher level courses. Maybe you shouldn't be in the science department.

Dr. Robinson is a wonderful professor. If you are smart and like a teacher who is actually passionate about teaching, this is your man! He knows his stuff and is incredibly funny and helpful. This is one of the best examples of what a college professor should be like! His class may not be a cake walk, but it is well worth your money!

Dr. Robinson is a very entertaining teacher, but needs to leave his sex talk for his Human Sexuality classes. I wasn't offended, but I get the feeling some classmates were. Test are pretty average, being long multiple choice exams, and he often lets you out of class in time to beat the traffic.

I loved him! He was funny, and if you asked him something he didnot know he would make an extra credit assignment out of it. he just doesnt like to be wrong.

Go to class. Sit up front. Do what you can to participate. His jokes may get old, but if you've ever heard a motivational speaker or poor actor he's nothing new. His class is supposedly going to change, if everything goes his way your attendance will be marked and you will have pop quizzes. But you should attend this class and pay attention anyway.

I personally think he is a little obnoxious, but it doens't matter because he is not a bad teacher. The class itself is alright, but not bad. If you want an A in the class then attend every class, and study your material in depth because his tests are conceptual. He is strict as far as cell phones and lap tops, but whatever.

Professor Robinson was great for statistics. I enjoyed class for the most part. The class was easy, just study notes from class.

Very interesting class. Its extremely easy to make an A. just show up and pay attention. You can download all the notes from his website prior to class. read them and make a few notes on them and you will do great. I thought the book was useless, didnt even buy it. But the clicker is important. overall great professor, easy class. highly recommend!

I thought he was a great professor. I found his class to be very interesting & he's very friendly. The tets aren't difficult at all if you simply study. You don't need the book and he even tells you that in class. You do need the clicker thing and you get points from attendance by using it. It's a fun class so don't skip, go and get your points!

Dont be scared of this guy just because you have to have higher brain activity to take his class. True he is kind of a smartass, but that is just because he knows that he is intelligent.Definatley attend all his classes as well as reading the books required. he is so much fun and you will learn more from him in all aspects than you will from most.

He is a great professor, my absolute favorite. He is kinda picky about classroom rules sometimes, but as long as you use common sense he wont have any problems with you. The tests are hard- you need to study the notes and the book, and try to understand the actual concepts. He makes class fun!

The material is hard if you make it hard. He makes it interesting to learn with tidbits that make you laugh. Very intelligent individual. He is trying to use more of the book now on tests and normally quizzes come from notes, but not all the time. Tests are deceiving, easy in the beginning then hard at the end.

The man knows his stuff. He is very smart but that doesn't matter when you are trying to past his text! They are not easy. Their is a lot of theory type question on test so know the material, but if you want a class where it is just remembering stuff this class is not for you

His lectures are entertaining. He thinks he is hilarious, and although it sometimes gets old, it helps him hold attention. His tests are rather difficult, so don't think this will be an easy class.

Funny, entertaining, fairly young. He was VERY helpful. Material is easy but there is so much of it. 2 point quizzes every class. Don't need book, just powerpoint.

If you don't get on his nerves, he will like you and you'll have a good experience. He gives extra credit opportunities and his tests are pretty straight-forward. Covers very interesting material, too.

Awesome professor.

Ive had him for tons and tons of classes and he's been pretty kick ass for all of them. Just show up, print out the hand outs before class and bring them with you, then just look over your notes before the test and you'll be totally fine. He hates the book, but the university makes him use one.

I'm in his Psych. of Learning class now, I must say I've had lots of other classes with him and he is one of my fav profs. I don't understand how anyone could do poorly in his class (unless they don't attend). I've always found his lectures to be very interesting and engaging. I highly recommend him.

Robinson is an amazing professor. He's very intelligent, clear and funny. I don't remember ever going to that class and NOT laughing during his lecture! It was a real treat. You learn so many things that are so useful for everyday life! Make sure you come to class because he takes role, gives quizzes, and bonus points with clickers! EASY class!!!

First, if you think Robinson is bad and hard, you have to be a moron. True, he relates everything to sex and partying but he does it so you remember! i still remember everything from this class because he made dumb material fun and easy to remember. does use the clickers alot! girls, hes a cute one!!

Great teacher! Very interesting so you will never be bored. Not an easy makes you earn your grades but on the flip side he also gives you all the info in class in a clear understandable way. Don't know about helpfulness because i never needed to ask everything was clear and easy. Test are multiple choice. No studding needed just pay attention.

Excellent! He is amazing. So well prepared, and professional but still so fun! Don't bother buying the books. Print the powerpoint and come to class and you'll have an EASY A. There are some crazy lies about him on this site. It's all bull. Take this class. You will learn so much and laugh so hard! Just don't crinkle your wrappers!

Tons of fun! Everyone who has to take a psychology class should take him. He doesn't use the book at all, and all of the material on the tests comes from his powerpoints. His tests are a bit hard, but the class is worth it! Hes hilarious and makes it really interesting! Plus, he's easy on the eyes!!

He's entertaining in a creepy, skirt-chasing kind of way. If that does not scare you off, then you'll probably stay mildly amused - and/or mildly offended - during his classes. My only gripe: it is nigh impossible to make A's on his tests, but making B's is a cakewalk. Recommended, but with reservations about the occasional crass comment.

Very, very lazy - can take him a week to grade a scantron test. Good teaching style but bad tests. Test questions quite ambiguous.

Dr. Robinson is great. I took him for PY 101, 108 & 361. He explains the material very well and he posts all his notes online. Doesn't really use the book a whole lot, most of the material on the tests come straight from the notes. Make sure you study because he sometimes covers a lot of material. He also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities.

I LOVE HIM!!! HE IS SO FUNNY! his tests you must study for but they are straight from his notes, come to class look over power points and you will be fine TONS of extra credit!! =D

I loved this class! It was fun to go to. It consisted of disscussion, but you should still go because it's interesting and he explains his powerpoints. He was really funny which made up for him being late almost every day. Take this class, you won't regret it.

Had him for Human Sexuality... Trust me, you will NEVER want to miss his class. They're epic. Still need to study for the tests thoroughly, but that class was awesome, I'm seriously thinking of taking it again sometime.

I LOVE Dr. Robinson. I have had him for Social Psych, Psy of Learning among a couple of others and every class is very interesting. He will keep you laughing but you will know the material when your done. Go to every class and try not to eat or leave your cell on and you will be fine. He is a MUST take!! All if his classes are good!!

Dr. Rob is HILARIOUS! <3 All of his lectures are akin to watching Jack Black do stand-up comedy. Extremely interesting. Has a vast knowledge of pretty much ALL subjects. Even if I did not receive points for class attendance (quizes) I'd still go for fun!

I take almost any course just because Dr. Robinson teaches it. He has been my favorite professor by far. Yes, you have to work for your grade, but he is very helpful, knowledgable, and interesting.

This guy is great. If you can't get an A in here, you didn't take it seriously. He IS laid back. He IS relaxed in his teaching method. The truth is that this IS a REAL class and if you do not study for the tests, you will have the same results as in any other class. Have fun, but STUDY FOR YOUR TESTS!

Dude is awesome for real. He's very funny and very interesting. He's a bit anal so do not text or crinkle chip bags in his class because he WILL call you out. Tests are all from lecture. No need to buy the book. He lets the students write some of the test questions and if you look on BB for what questions were sent to him, you'll do well.

He is a really fun and entertaining professor. Class attendance is mandatory because he does clicker questions and they are a huge part of your grade. Attendance is also highly recommended since he doesn't use a textbook. Overall, I enjoyed being in his class and would take him again.

Sadly Dr Robinson was FORCED to make reading the textbook worth 25% of your grade. I read but the quizzes given seemed so different from what the book said and the book pales in comparison with his skill so it was really disappointing. I wanted to take him again but cant because my grade wont reflect the work I put in. He was so fun. It's a shame.

Very knowledgeable, very interesting, very funny. I've had him for Perception, Human Sex, Psyc and Law, Personality, Intro (101), and plan on taking Psyc. of Learning. Very easy to make a C or B, difficult to make an A, the way classes should be. Overall very rewarding, his classes remind me why I love psychology and got into it to begin with.

Robinson is an excellent teacher. I've taken his personality, human sexuality, and social psych classes. Textbook is mainly used on quizzes which are normally made by his TA. Very open-minded and fun, and I always look forward to finding another class to take with him!

Dr. Robinson has been my favorite professor since I've been in college. He makes his expectations very clear from the start. I had him for Human Sexuality, Social Psych, and Psych of Learning. His lectures are hilarious and interactive. He's knowledgable and loves learning. If you do your work and study the material, you'll ace the tests easily.

Some sections of the class were harder than others, but Mr. Robinson was always available before, during, and after class to help clarify any questions. A lot of his class was being able to back up how you got to your answer. Memorize the definitions when he tells you to!

I thought he was a great teacher, didn't have any problems with him. The lectures were interesting, and the work pretty easy. He tailored the subject toward the students he was teaching. We're artdesign students and taking psychology as one of our liberal arts, and he made it relate back to what we do. Weekly quizzes, 2 papers, and a project.

Prof. Robinson is my favorite professor and I always look forward to going to his class. He definitely cares about his students. He is my only professor who makes the effort to get to know all of his students. He makes the content of the class very easily understandable by relating it in our own lives, jokes, and stories. I definitely reccomend!
