I took his ECO 2013 class and found this teacher to be professional,polite,thorough,no- nonsense, but fair. He spends time to explain, he uses relevant and practical examples to help us understand. His tests are straightforward and he does in-depth revisions before each test. I think he knows his material.

Brilliant teacher, he peaked my interest in Economics. Now I am an Economics major. Thanks to him. He also gave me quite a few tips on grammar and writing through his helpful comments on my article reviews.

Cool dude. Loved his examples. His examples helped me to better understand the topics. We did our research on topics during class time. Overall, I like his style. Do your article reviews,attend classes and read and you will be fine.

Taught me ECO 2023.I recommended his class to my brother, but he was not teaching it that semester, he was only teaching ECO 2013. He is good teacher, responds promptly to his e-mails. One of the few adjuncts who are always available to talk with students before class starts.

Good professor, knows the subject very well. Subject can be a little boring but he presents real life examples that help you understand the material. Must READ the book & STUDY to do well on tests, they are a little tricky. 3 tests & final, 3 article reviews, 4th one for extra credit. Does not make your life harder or easier. I liked him.

Lecture notes are not enough to prepare for the test. You have to read the chapters. No math or actual graphing in tests, but you still need to know the graphs in order to answer some questions. Homework is very challenging. He will answer any questions you have in class and does give tips on where to focus for tests.

Test are very tricky. Do extra credit article, they help. Had a B as a final grade and ended up with an A.

I find him to be an excellent teacher. Lectures often run long and become monotonous but it doesn't stop you from excelling whatsoever. His presentations are a great review of the book. I took Summer B and felt that I learned an exceptional amount in the short 6 weeks. I highly recommend him.

good professor +explain well +good powerpoint notes for us to write down. Note: he is boring tho when he lecutres; very montune. he gives a lot of hw!!! but the hw is useful. prepare yourself there are 3 writing assignments that you must pass or otherwise fail. and expect a final exam.

You just have to read pay attention to his lectures. Its not an easy class but he is a great professor at explaining his lecture. Again make sure study he has 4 quizzes and 3 writing assignments. If you study and show dedication you will pass the class.

I don't know why anyone has given this professor a bad review. Class was super easy, online assignments suck but are manageable. He has 3 tests that are all multiple choice like 20 questions or less. Obviously study it's not hard. Lectures are super boring, just read the powerpoints on your own. Current event reports are super easy.

Professor Smith is awesome! He is really down to earth and his lectures are fun if you keep up with the material. DO THE HOMEWORK! You will pass if you keep up with the homework. Did I stress that you NEED TO DO THE HOMEWORK :)?

He is a respected professor, very laid back and if you do bad in your tests or article reviews, he let's you make it up. He will do anything to make you pass. Very friendly and loves to talk about his actual experience as an economist. Food for thought kinda class. He's cool :)

This semester was my second time taking this professor (macro, now micro). It is lecture heavy but there is no other way to learn economics without some examples on the board. I didnt mind the 10 lab hours because it is a blended class and personally, I can barely focus at home. He is funny and caring, no extra credit but study and you will pass.

I did both ECO2013 and ECO2023 with this professor. He doesnt give anything free but if you read the chapters and practice the Cengage assignments you should do well. Did I say practice the Cengage assignments?

WOW!! he is an OUTSTANDING Professor, for those that ACTUALLY want to learn this is your guy. His lectures are fantastic, he explains things clearly. There are three Mini Test's via Lockdown Browser, Three Essay's on Cengage, and a Lockdown Browser Final. Pay attnetion in class, STUDY A LOT FOR THE TEST'S and you should be good.

Be Prepared to read. He makes you want to read though. He makes Economics real. He is very professional. His syllabus is well laid out. If you follow your syllabus , you will do great. He stimulates you to learn and is very interactive.
