Mr. Vito is very inspiring!!! It kind of made me want to change my major. Still debating. He's clear with the topic of each chapter. He's always prepared, super young but better than my elder professors for sure! I wish class was not ending so soon, hoping to take another class with him! You'll learn and laugh too!

This professor is pretty easy going but you must attend class for his lectures and group work. In the lectures he gives you a lot of information that will be on the test but the lecture slides do not have that information.

Chris Vito is by far one of my favorite professors at College of the Desert. He is super funny, down to earth, and likes to have fun while he teaches. You do need to come to class in order to pass his class. Take his lectures and listen to him. His energy in class made my 8AM so fun, and I wanted to come to class. Also willing to help with grades.

Awesome! Loved his class would take any class taught by him. Makes class fun and is hilarious. You need to go to lecture because what he talks about is actually on the test. He takes the time to do a review before each test and is willing to clarify anything you're confused about. Show up, pay attention, take notes and you'll pass!

Professor Vito clarifies during lectures what key-terms will be on the exams, so you must be present in class for you can do well on the exams. If you have the opportunity to take his class, do it or you'll regret it.

Really good professor, thorough with instructions and takes the time to help you if you don't understand something. Open for any kind of questions. Not too challenging of a class if you study but attendance is important because he does have give group discussions and notes that may be on the exam.

This course is very well organized. Goes by the syllabus, homework assignments well explained and lectures are entertaining and informative. Group-work gives students a chance to work with others and discuss/solve critical thinking problems. Test are passable if you study notes (from lecture) and read the chapters. Well prepared prepared professor.

The Lectures that he gives are interesting and he explains a lot in class. If you miss class you may miss something that he will put on the test and the reflections that he has you do for homework are important. There is group projects but they are pretty easy and help you with test information. Overall I would take him again for any class.

Best professor I've had at COD. He is one of those professors in which his lectures catch your interest and gets you thinking. Not boring at all, ok amount of homework but none that you break your head over, and a good amount of studying. Overall, somewhat easy and fun, yet learned more than in many other classes.

Prof Vito is knowledgeable in his field and it shows. He does move through his lectures and information quickly so you need to be paying attention. He encourages participation and interaction during his class by involving students in the topics and having workgroup assignments in class.

Very down to earth teacher. He is on the younger side of most teachers I've had. If I needed to take another sociology class it would be with him. I recommend him, makes lectures interesting as well.

I took Soc-004 with him which is Critical Thinking. Critically thinking is not my strong side. I hate having to critically think because it is so confusing. When I took his class and he started lecturing he caught my attention right away. the way he makes you see things changes the perspective of how you saw society. His lectures are the best.

Professor Vito is amazing. He made the sociology/critical thinking class very interesting and fun. He gave us clues on what to study for each tests and adds some extra credit to each tests for every time we showed up in class, meaning that if we show up for 5 classes he adds up 5% to the grade of your test. Really helpful and fun.

Professor Vito makes critical thinking a common thing in every day life after you take his class. He does not force you to think of things, but instead makes it so you ask yourself the questions and debate among classmates, all coming up with different ideas and answers.
