-Passionate about course material -Wants you to do well -Quite a lot of reading/papers
I've only had Chris for a few classes so far, but he's been fantastic. Hilarious lectures, lots of feedback and absolutely clarity on all the material he presents. Makes grading for papers and final super easy to understand. Offers tonnes of extra credit opportunities.
Great prof. Very caring and knowledgable, and he brings his dog to class sometimes!
If you are not a humanities-based major it may be difficult, but he is very accessible outside of class and will take the time to make sure you understand what is going on. There are two papers, a final exam and participation - and he allows you to choose which paper you want to submit first. Interesting class, and a great environment to lern.
Engaging, knowledgable, and approachable: Dr. Zeichmann makes sure that you have the opportunity to do well in his class. He's personally given me advice on how to strengthen my work, and provided me with sources that he is familiar with to expand my knowledge on the subject. This class is a MUST if you have interest in ancient history.
While there is a decent amount of reading in this class, the subject matter is interesting and is taught by someone who is definitely passionate and interested in this subject. Very relaxed and nice, responds to emails and questions quickly.
The greatest professor I have ever got, and always there to help. Very knowledgible.
Dr Zeichmann really knows what he's talking about, but his lectures aren't structured very well, he rambles quite often. Other than that, pretty great class and incredible content.
Professor Zeichmann is one of the most caring and considerate professors at ryerson. Hes so nice and very fair when it comes to grading. He genuinely cares about all his students and really wants everyone to do well. Make sure you go to class and buy both textbooks!
I recommend this prof and class I don't like history but I am glad I took this course. There are quite a bit of readings to keep up with and lectures can be fast paced. However there are clear guidelines given for assignments so as long as you follow them you can easily do well in course.
Makes a "boring" and textbook course such as Ancient Greece and Roman History extremely interesting for someone who hasn't learned a thing about it prior. He likes participation, and the small group discussions are actually really fun and a great way to meet a few people in the class. I would definitely take this class again!
great guy overall. Wish his slides were a bit more concise and he posted them on D2L but other than that he was great
honestly, he is an okay prof. there are wayyyyy too many readings for this course (around 50 pages per week that must be done to understand the content). if you genuinely like history, take it, but it's not just an easy course you can get through. you have to do the work, and honestly it's boring. he makes it way more boring than it needs to be.
Most ideal prof you can ever have. He was my most favourite prof in all of Ryerson. His marking was fair, his enthusiasm is great, and he teaches well. He also brings his dog often to class. The course was quite heavy in terms of reading, but you should come to class to know what readings were about (most lectures refer back to the readings).
He is a really caring and engaging person. There is a lot of reading, but I enjoyed them! He always does discussions about readings and allows us listens to our comments. He really breaks the era down nicely with historical time periods as well as everyday life/culture. I thoroughly enjoyed! He also brings his dog Luba to lecture sometimes.
Overall he is a great prof but there were WAY too many readings. The assignments are based more on his lectures and the readings he posts. The textbook readings were long and unnecessary. He marks fairly easy. If you are looking for a grade in the 90's beware as he doesn't give grades that high but if you want a grade in the 80's you're fine.
way too heavy of a work load for a 101 class! I'm in 4th year and this is one of the most reading-heavy classes i've had. two discussion posts a week is also excessive, especially because we have to read something completely separate from the course readings for them. he seems nice, just too much work for a 101 elective. his dog is cute tho
An amazing prof!! The course was pretty content-heavy with 2 papers and 2 discussion posts each week but he was SO accommodating. He made our final exam optional and would always give feedback on papers when asked. BEST prof
Literally just participate in the weekly discussion posts/responses and write a decent paper and essay, and you will be able to receive at least an A-. It is an asynchronous class, but he responds to emails pretty fast if you have any questions. I highly suggest you take his class for a lower liberal.
Dr. Zeichmann is awesome. He is really fun, kind and down to earth. This course provides a good overview of each religion as every week you explore a new one. The textbook is actually a really easy read. You will be required to do weekly discussion posts and 2 essays. Toronto is so diverse in religious culture that this course is super relevant.
Fantastic professor who cares for his students and provides great insight through lectures and guest speakers. The course requires you to do a lot of reading and encourages weekly discussions via posts with peers. There are no surprises as the course is well structured and he is available during office hours and via email.
Professor Zeichmann is fantastic. Extremely helpful and passionate - seems like he really cares about the success of his students. Lectures are engaging. The course (REL 101) is great, 2 essays, 1 final exam, and participation - which is weekly discussion posts. These posts can sometimes be a little cumbersome, but doable. Recommend!!
A bit heavy on the discussion. Feels more like busy work than a discussion. Overall good prof
The class and material are very easy but he makes you write 700+ words a week for your weekly discussion post and they're so useless. It doesn't feel like your learning anything and it's just busy work. He is really nice and you probably will get a good mark, but you will hate yourself during the semester.
Great prof and great course, would suggest both. Zeichmann is fantastic professor! Offers an extra credit assignment at the beginning of the semester which is helpful. Worst part about this class is the discussion post. 700+ words a week, plus a detailed response to a discussion post. Lots of work, but not too hard. Easy to get a good grade
Dr. Zeichmann is super passionate about religious studies and it's evident that he wants his students to succeed. There are opportunities for extra credit and he is available to chat about exams/papers outside of class. 4 discussion posts, 2 papers and a final. I would recommend taking in first or second year, not 3rd or 4th bc you wont get an A/A+
Overall the course was great. It was discussion post heavy due to the transition from in person to online. However, they are fairly straight forward and can be done easily within an hour each week. The final essay was a bit tough as you have very limited resources to use to make your point. I would take a course with Dr. Zeichmann in a heartbeat
Professor Zeichmann is among the best history professors at Ryerson. He has a genuine care for his students and that reflects his quickness to respond to emails, and his willingness to take time outside of class to help you. It is by no means an easy class, but a chance to learn about Ancient Greece and Rome from an extremely passionate professor.
He is an amazing professor who really cares about his students. He is super into this topic and it really shows. His lectures are super interesting BUT only take this class if you are interested in this topic. It is no "bird course". There are 2-3 weekly readings, plus 1-4 lectures around 20 mins each and then a discussion post and response
Probably one of the most engaging professors that I have ever had. Course is good, however it is very heavy on reading and writing. Two discussions every week are tough, but it is used as a participation grade so your content doesn't matter that much. Two essays but he marks easily. Just make sure that you read over assigned readings.
Amazing Prof. Knows what and how to teach. His assignments and discussion posts may be course load heavy, but he marks easily for an A. Just do your work and ask questions, hell raise your mark and be attentive. Hes super considerate and understanding. Ill def take him in the future. I learnt a lot from his course.
Fantastic prof. He really cares a lot about his students and has great accommodations in place when needed. Provides all the information you need beforehand to excel in the class. One of a kind prof.
Just finished his HST207 class and I loved it. I'm not a huge fan of history cause they tend to be very content heavy and I'm pretty stupid BUT this was actually a fun class! Be prepared for a good amount of reading (but doable with time management), discussion posts, and 2 essay assignments. Super willing to help and his D2L is super organized!
Dr. Zeichmann is an amazing professor. He is really engaging on zoom and even the prerecorded classes. I'm sure he's even better in person. His syllabus has everything you'll need to complete your assignments. His due date system is also really beneficial to students. A lot of reading, though it's a history class so what do you expect?
Really nice professor. 2 papers, 1 exam (optional), and participation. Discussion posts were heavy and you had to respond to classmates. The papers were easy to do as well, they were not heavy academic papers. The final exam was optional, if you chose not to do it, he would just make the other assignments worth more. No live lectures.
Professor Zeichmann is an absolutely amazing professor. He is so kind and engaging to his students. The class itself has a ton of readings, its pretty easy to fall behind. You are marked on DB post, 2 essays. He is so accommodating and one of the best professors Ive ever had. If you participate in the zooms weekly youll get 100 on participation!
Professor Zeichmann is really passionate and engaging about Ancient Greece & Rome. He is fast to respond to emails. Everything you need is on the course shell. Make sure you post on the discussion boards and attend weekly meetings for full participation marks. There's are a lot of readings, so make sure you're interested in this topic.
Everything about the course I found amazing: all info and grading clearly laid out, all material and assignments visible from day one. Professor was an all-around great guy. The course is definitely a bit reading/writing heavy, but that's normal for a humanities course. If you enjoy learning about history, this prof is for you.
Really great guy. Extremely reasonable and is very interactive with students. He really wants his students to do well and will always help you if you have questions. The class was not too difficult in terms of the content, however be prepared to write a lot.
He is nice and knowledgeable. But a tough grader, so don't take his classes if you are taking it as an elective. Wont benefit your gpa.
I choose this class for my liberal, and I hated it since all the work is essays. people say he marks easy but I think he marks pretty fair. He makes you do weekly discussion posts which is 2 a week (a reply, and a new post), which is a lot!! if your looking into an easy liberal course, I suggest not to take this course unless you love doing essays.
This class is mainly on essay papers with an 2 papers, discussion posts, and optional exam. The discussion posts are a bit heavy with required lengthy posts and responses. The papers were not too heavy.
Prof. Zeichmann is caring & charismatic. The class is interesting & enjoyable if you genuinely want to learn about religions. The exam was made optional & the weights were shifted to the other 2 essays + discussions posts. You can get away with not reading the textbook. He provides flexible deadlines 6+ detailed feedback. His dog is also adorable.
Had to write LOTS of discussion posts and was very heavy on reading but otherwise, this class is great and very insightful! I love this prof, he's super chill and funny and we had great discussions in class, not to mention his dog Luba is the cutest thing ever!!
Words will never express Dr Zeichmann's place in my heart. He is an amazing professor who is engaging and incredibly caring. He genuinely wants his students to do well and is always willing to help you on your assignments. DB posts were the worst as they were due weekly and heavy, but assignments were easy.
This course material was not interesting at all. We went over very basic truths surrounding religion. The tests and modes of evaluation did not reflect anything that was discussed in class. The professor also refused access to the course material.
They're really nice and his lectures are super interesting. Does not give students access to powerpoint slides so definitely take lots of notes. Marks fairly and provides a clear rubric for what he wants from the essays.
Hes a great professor, he even brought his dog to class. Unless ur a history major his stuff is hard to understand, he often went off on tangents. Heavily weighted 2 essays, exam, participation. u memorize dates. Dont take this as an elective. Watch a couple vids on youtube abt rome and greece if u have no interest in wars & dates this isnt for u.
A great guy, but a stickler when it comes to teaching. Won't upload any slides, lots of reading, and your participation mark is based on his gut feeling. Has a passion for the content but rambles. Will mark 50+ 2000-word essays in a day, so no real feedback on them. Doesn't appreciate effort, expect to get between a 75-85. Doesn't believe in 90s.
The material could be overwhelming at times, but I genuinely loved going to this class. Definitely hope to have Dr. Zeichmann (and Luba of course) again in the future.
Stressed me out more than my mandatory courses. Did not give lecture slides and gave heavy readings and lectures. Participation was graded strangely. Hard to follow if you don't know much about ancient history. He's a nice guy and the exam was easy, but stressful as it was 40% of ur final grade. Names 2000 battles per class that you wont remember.
Dr. Zeichmann's class was really interesting and he is very knowledgable and passionate about the material. Definitely requires good notetaking as he does not post slides but the exam was pretty easy and the essays weren't too bad. Overall great prof with the bonus of a very cute dog, Luba!
Overall Dr. Zeichmann is a pretty good professor. He is extremely nice and will often give you tips and feedback on your papers. His lectures were often a bit dry, but he's a super chill guy. This course has A LOT of readings, so make sure that you are interested in the topics. Also, make sure to do all the discussion posts, they were an easy 20%!
Amazing Prof. He is super understanding and kind. Definitely would take a class of his again! I would not suggest anyone who has minimal understanding of Ancient greece and rome to take this unless they are up for a challenge! I went in with a decent amount of knowledge and still felt lost sometimes.
He's nice and helpful but there are way too many readings and so much writing, it's also lecture heavy. I felt as if the essays we had to write didn't reflect what we learned in class. Don't take this expecting an easy course, you're gonna have to do a lot of work.
professor zeichmann is a fun guy (with a lovely dog) but idk i didnt love this class. his grading criteria and assignment guidelines are ridiculously vague and i feel like he could've included more content in his slides (esp for such a broad, interesting class) but he's nice and always there to answer questions
his lectures or the course itself isn't even bad, its just his syllabus is annoying. I have to dig and search to find a due date. there also was never an exam review given. he also never gave us any quizzes or a midterm so the exam catches you off guard. not too bad but would never take him again.
i dont really get the good reviews. professor is incredibly vague about everything! nothing is clear, not his expectations, not what he wants for assignments, absolutely nothing about the exam (which is wroth 30%!!). i dont think its fair at all. he's nice and all, but idc he needs to do so much more.
This is not a class to take if you want an easy A+. He caps a lot of things at ~85% and doesn't like to give much higher. Super kind person, curved the exam, but I guarantee you will struggle to get an A+. Marks papers really hard.
Genuinely sweet guy, caring and passionate. Participation is very important, so be diligent, and the assignments are a little more constrained; so follow the instructions carefully.
Best prof ever. I enjoyed going to his office hours. He gave me all the feedback I needed for my essay and helped me when needed. The content was very interesting and had me thinking about it all. 10/10 would suggest taking this course.
Professor Zeichmann was great. I would definitely recommend taking notes and ensuring to do the readings - as the only "test" is the final exam. The other assignments are very separate from the exam so if you don't keep up with the other course material you're stuck cramming at the end. Lectures are good, lots of discussions and such. Fair marker!
Dr. Zeichmann was awesome and he's very clearly passionate about the subjects they're teaching. This course was pretty reading-heavy (at least for me). He really knows how to engage with his students. Also, he brought their dog to class and she's the cutest little thing.
Dr. Zeichmann is very passionate about the subjects he teaches and really wants his students to succeed. This man will give you every chance to pass his course as long as you follow his instructions and actually do the work. As a bonus, he's a really nice, down to earth dude that doesn't have an ego.
took it last year hybrid online and in person, was very engaging during lectures and really taught it like he cared a lot about the subject. was a fun class overall, and was a fun prof.
I am not a religious studies major, took this as an elective and best decision ever. Super easy, and grades based off of completion (as long as your get a 70% or higher) you pass with an A. He is super caring, would def take again
Prof Zeichmann cares deeply about learning, not just memorizing facts and regurgitating information. He revises your essay for you before a final grading, offers extra credit opportunities, and is deeply knowledgeable about the subject matter. I would take any course by this prof, even if I don't care about the subject matter.
Dr Zeichmann is an amazing Prof, who is super passionate! Took REL 101 last year and it was by far the best course I had. He cares about his students and offers really good feedback for essays, and does really helpful prep for the final. He cares about his students and genuinely wants to hear your opinions and perspectives. Overall a 11/10 prof!
This prof is amazing, would highly recommend taking Rel 101 with him. He is so nice and needs you to do your best in his course. The course had a lot of assignments, i wouldn't say they were hard, but needs a lot of work and time.
I took this course as an elective and i'm glad i chose it!! He does opt-in grading so if you completed majority of the weekly reading notes and the in-class reading assignments in the tutorials and passed then there should be no reason to not get an A or B. Overall, great prof def would recomed taking this class if you want an easy A.
Professor Zeichmann is a good professor overall. He gives you the opportunity to get the mark you want, and work isn't that hard. He is easy on his students and doesn't put pressure on them.
hes the best prof i've ever had, and a wonderful human being as well. he was very understanding of my personal circumstances and made my life 100% easier. i hope nothing but success and happiness for this man and his adorable dog WHICH HE BRINGS SOMETIMES
The opt-in grading made it confusing to calculate progress throughout the course. Definitely need to do the readings and attend lectures/tutorials to receive a good mark but the course content is quite interesting and prof does a good job with slides and content altogether. Also brought in guest authors which was a cool experience.
Very intelligent, cares about students and interesting course content... And he's really cute :)
Amazing prof and the grading system for this course is really refreshing. He helps look over your stuff so dw too much and try to follow his advice for a good grade. I think even in other courses the grading would be clear as he makes sure of it himself.
Pass or fail course. He is an easygoing prof, is really nice. Brought his dog on the first day which is fun to see. Would recommend taking him. Overall an amazing elective to take.
Dr. Zeichman is an amazing instructor! He is a very quick grader, which is refreshing as other courses can take 2+ weeks. I thought he was an excellent public speaker and his lectures were intriguing and engaging.
Prof. Zeichmann is a really charismatic, down to earth guy. If you participate in class you'll do really well. His assignments are challenging, but in a way that makes you think and develop a better understanding of the world. Plus he has a cute dog.
GREAT professor! Very knowledgeable and respectful of all religions. MARKS SO FAST, next day. Doesnt seem to give above 90 for major assignments, but its easy to get full marks for small ones. Exam was easy if you study. Gives extra credit for coming to class sometimes. Can be a bit rude in his announcements. got mad ppl didn't come to class.
Dr. Zeichmann is a wonderful professor! There is a lot of reading in this class but they're quite interesting. His lectures are well structured and he clearly outlines his expectations for the assignments. If you put in the effort, do the work AND attend his lectures, you're guaranteed to do well. I highly recommend his class.
All Dr. Zeichmann cares about is that you do the readings and participate. Grades are based on reading notes each week, and in-class writing assignments which are easy if you've done the readings. Exam was optional.
Easy A+ if you do the work and engage in discussions. Although it is easy to do well, and Dr. Zeichmann gives several opportunities for extra credit, you will learn so much! A nice break from more difficult, demanding classes yet still gained a ton of knowledge from this class. Assignments were marked within a day or two. Highly recommend! :)
Very interesting discussions and Dr. Zeichmann is clearly invested in his classes. Feedback could at times be harsh and did not quite answer emails.
He is the best professor I've had and it is only my first year! As long as you do your work you will get a fair grade. Dr. Zeichmann is easy to talk too about work or assignments and is very clear when lecturing. I absolutely recommend this professor and I am blessed to be taking a course of his next semester!
I loved him so much. He was so nice and respectful, and very open to feedback. Honestly hes an amazing guy and super good prof not much else to say. If youre interested in religion take his class I learned so much.
Amazing prof and I would definitely take another class of his if I get the chance. FASTEST marker ever, like he marks within 0-2 days of submission. Clearly very knowledgeable on various topics of religion. Probably the best prof I've had so far.
Prof Ziechmann was a pretty chill professor, as long as you did what was expected. Do the readings, hand in your notes, pay attention in class and you're good. Even if you missed class it was fine because he posts the slides and all you do in class is discuss the readings. Grading system was cool because it was opt-in
He is such a nice prof. He cares for students and makes courses interesting even though I had no idea anything about religion. He is a fair marker for the essay and gives clear guidance. I learned a lot of writing skills from this course in my first year at the university, which was helpful.
Dr. Zeichmann is nice, understanding and approachable. You're given a due date with and without feedback, without being a week after the original due date. Good professor if you struggle with load management. Discussion posts are weekly and a bit harder; otherwise, it's easy. The final is optional. Take a class with him, you won't regret it.
Prof Zeichmann has a way of engaging with everything a student says when they raise their hand, very impressive skill. Quite inviting, and fair marker. Lots of assignments, but the more you do, the greater chance you'll have of an A-grade because it's do opt-in grading. Only con: participation is important, it makes the him AND the class better.
Great lectures and very accommodating. He is very approachable in class and outside of class. His assignments are pretty straightforward if you follow the requirements and not hard to do well on. His final exam is also very straightforward if you go through the lecture slides and pay attention to the words that he writes on the board during class.
My fav prof ever !! The last class he brought his dog Luba.Very fast grading btw
Such a great and funny professor that seems so passionate about their lectures. Always open to providing feedback and helping his students. Readings and assignments were done on an old version of a text so it was difficult to follow along at first but the assignments are based on your interpretation of them. Overall great prof, would take again!
He's very kind and his classes are very engaging.
One of my favourite professors I have ever had. His lectures are incredibly engaging and he is passionate about everything he teaches. Normally, people are turned away if they are being graded on participation, but it was extremely helpful for this class; hearing everyone's insights helps to clarify content if you do not understand! Love him!!
One of the best profs at TMU. Funny, passionate and kind. There is no way to fail this class as you choose your grade. Weekly readings and note taking, short writing assignments in tutorials (mandatory attendance), Essay instructions were very clear and fairly marked. Take the exam only if you want to boost your mark. Overall, great professor.
An amazing professor. Doing well in this class is easy if you attend lectures. He is heavy on attendance but gives extra credit to students who do attend. Everything is graded for completion except for the final exam which he makes super easy. The exam is worth 40% but the questions are fair. You can do well even if you study at the last minute.
Good prof overall. His dog Luba makes lectures worth staying!
this course was very easy to do well in and the professor is generally very helpful and interesting during lectures
Great lecturer! Very engaging and funny. He genuinely wants his students to do well. Assignments are lowkey fun and easy to do well if you put a reasonable amount of effort into it. He also grades them very generously. The 40% final exam was fair. I even recommended the class to others and I am also taking REL 100 with him too.
Your professor's favourite professor
He used a opt-in grading scheme of how many assignments were submitted. Do the weekly reading notes because it will help you write the manifesto so much easier. There is a lot of grade flexibility, and the overall content was very engaging and interesting to learn about. We had guest lecturers who wrote some readings come in as well.
He is very informative, and his lectures are amazing. You can get an A easily just by completing everything on time.
I've now taken two courses with him and I believe he is genuinely one of the best profs at TMU. He genuinely wants you to succeed. This course has opt-in grading, so you decide your grade depending on how many assignments you do and how much extra credit you receive. The textbook and films we have to watch were really great too. 10/10 recommend
Great prof and amazing lectures. I would definitely take a class with them again if I could.
One of the best profs at TMU. Lectures are very clear and informative. His class is very engaging and fun. He is an easy grader, and as long as you submit everything on time, you'll surely get A.
The course material was interesting, but feedback occasionally felt unclear or based on misunderstandings. Parts of the experience were unnecessarily difficult in ways that could've been avoided with clearer communication.
Great prof basically gives free 100 for just doing the assignments properly great guy, wants you to do very well.
One of my favourite professors! He appreciates participation and engagement with the readings. I found it easy to get full marks on assignments. Just commit to the work, participate as much as possible, and show interest. He is accommodating, respectful, and understanding as long as you show that same level of respect – and he has earned it!
Very easy to do well, just take the time to read his criteria and tip documents and you'll pass each assignment. Opt in grading with option to submit late for a lower overall mark. Hilarious, kind, definitely particular but considering how lenient he is, I can't blame him. Just contribute, even small amounts! Super fun and interesting class imo.
You will do well in this course if you put in the time to read and take notes. Dr. Zeichmann offers interesting course materials and has clear expectations.
would not take again
prof's actually awesome, super chill and knows their stuff. but fr do NOT try to use AI for anything, he'll catch you in 2 secs. trust me lol.
Best Professor Ive ever had in University, felt more like a friend. He doesn't really do live lectures and his recorded ones aren't too long. We have weekly meetings for 1hr which is way better than 3. Workload wise, there are weekly discussions and 2 big essay assignments which are basically your midterms and a final which he made optional for us.
Easily one of the best profs I've had at Tmu so far, very chill and feels like a friend is teaching you, not a prof. Very engaging lectures and very helpful at breaking expectations down. I wish there were more Profs like Dr. Zeichmann at Tmu. Anyone looking to take a class with him you won't regret it.
Absolute Legend Enough Said
THIS IS SUCH AN EASY CLASS. and the prof is funny and nice. if his lectures weren't at 8am they'd be so fun to attend. all the assignments are a pass/fail grade but the MANDATORY weekly readings are incredibly tedious. ur able to skip some tho and still get an A. good prof, would take again.
I loved this prof!! His class is an easy A if you do the work. He is strict about AI and will report you to the AIO right away but he's an easy grader. As long as you do the reading notes and show that you actually read the assigned reading, you're good. Show up to tutorials but lectures are useless. It's a low effort class, take it if you can.
Goated Prof Easy Marks
Super chill, but very serious about AI use. Grading system allowed it to be fairly easy to obtain an A provided you participate in class. A fairly easy grader and closer to end of year he gave extra credit for showing up. Readings could be a lot, but not all were mandatory for a good grade. Overall a great professor and would definitely take again.
he is the best!!
This was an opt in grading class, so it is an easy A as long as you do the work. I highly recommend him as he was an easy marker and attendance was not mandatory. However, if it was low then he sometimes would give us extra marks. Dont use AI because he will report you to the AIO.
He's a nice guy but his marking scheme is confusing and he doesn't stick to it. I got extra credit and did extra work however it was not applied to my final grade which was very confusing. The choose your own grade was interesting but again, the guidelines weren't very clear as you often got extra marks but he didn't say how those would be applied.
The way he marked made no sense. He said it's “choose your own mark” and offered extra credit work but then wouldn't specify how much it's worth and based my overall work on god knows what… if you want a good mark do not take his courses!! Literally the only class I've ever got below a B in
ABSOLUTE GOAT! minimal assignment and easy to get 100%. Go to class and will get extra credit. no midterm, final exam is light and straightforward.
His lectures were absolutely amazing and his feedback on assignments was always helpful! He is strict about AI use which I agree with lol just do the assignment yourself and you won't have any problems. Attendance isn't mandatory but he may give bonus marks for participation.
The best professor at tmu. Doesn't matter what program you are in take a class with him for an amazing grade and insightful and necessary life lessons. Deserves a 5/5.
literally the best professor at tmu.
