Very difficult class. Professor is extremely knowledgeable. To get a good grade you would need a tutor- but he grades aon a huge curve- GREAT CLASS

Great teacher! Curves the grade and gives major extra credit on the tests. Always allows for a possible 130 on tests. Easy A because you have a 30 point leeway!

He is a good teacher. He likes you to ask questions and will go over a problem until you understand. He wants you to learn and he will go what needs to be done to get it through to you. He is organized and clear. Great teacher!

I LOVE HIM! HE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY AND USES FUNNY EXAMPLES TO HELP CLARIFY CONFUSING POINTS. HE OFFERS PLENTY OF EXTRA CREDIT, GRADES ON A CURVE, AND WILL WORK WITH YOU UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS.

He's very, very helpful! He stayed after class on more than one occassion to help us out whenever we needed it. I enjoyed his teaching style - uses humor to help us learn. He's a great person, & he offers extra credit throughout the course.

Awesome teacher! Take 10 minutes to understand his accent before each class. He is very nice and has a great sense of humor if you listen closely. All homework and in class tests are hard but they make the final a piece of cake. Would definately takegain

He is one of the easiest math teachers I've had!! Mr. J. is the bomb! He even gives homework which counts towards your grade making it easier to get an A. Extremly recommend him!!!!!! The tests are really easy too!!

Ok,I hate math, forever and for always, so much so that I almost failed this class(I got a C tho), however, I think that Mr J is a good math teacher. He explains pretty well, and if math is a good subject 4 U, take him, if not shop around first and then think about this teacher

This teacher is just awesome, he is very helpful, his tests were good, and he is so patient. Do the homework, and you will definitely pass this class with no sweat. If you do good in the class, count on an easy final exam! :) Good luck!

Definetely recomend this teacher for anybody who is not lazy He is very easy going, simple, down to earth guy. Takes his time to help anybody who needs help I got an A in his class without a problem, but i did my homework and attended classes And i had a D in math in high school (7 years ago)!!!!

He is a very sweet man and knows his math, just not very clear when teaching! He does care about his students and if you ask for help he will help! If you don't ask then you better go to the learning center! I've found out though the HW is nothing like the test and the test are very challenging for the most part! Nice & Smart man, can't teach.

mr. j is the coolest math teacher. he pretends to be really sarcastic and mean, but he is such a sweetie. he has an accent, but you get used to it. he really cares about people, and if you try hard and do your work, you'll get a good grade.

Mr. J is awesome. He really is a sweetie. I dont know why some people think he is mean. He really isnt. Just do your hw and read each section and you should get @ least a "B" in the course. RECOMMENDED.

This man is awesome. Mr J comes from a family of teachers and I guess it sure rubbed off on him. He is a great person and is always willing to help. I guess the years of teaching is what makes his great. Highly Recommended.

Prof J is a wonderful professor. You're on your own on homework, so make sure you work on problems. Exam is only easy if you listen and learn and get to know the material very well. Overall, Prof J works with students effectively with a warm heart. He's funny too!

KIND OF HARD TO UNDERSTAND BC OF ACCENT, VERY COOL PROFFESOR, HAD VERY GOOD TEACHING TECHNIQUES. NO HOMEWORK, ATTENDANCE NOT EXACTLY COUNTED AND ALWAYS LETS CLASS OUT 15-20 MINUTES EARLY. JUST MAKE SURE YOU DO WELL ON THE TESTS [WHICH ALWAYS HAVE 20 EXTRA CREDIT POINTS] SINCE THATS THE ONLY THING YOUR GRADE WILL CONSIST OF.

loved teaching style...homework is not mandatory neither is attendance! understands students and will help you if you ask...wants you to pass the class...gives extra credit on every test...i made an A! very good teacher..and very funny too! always lets you leave 10-15 minutes early!

Awesome Professor! He takes time to explain problems. Uses great analogies at the right time that help you understand the subject. He is funny and cares. Mr. J is an excellent teacher. So good that I'm giving up Sat. mornings to take his next class. He explains everything! He is willing to keep going over it until it is understood. His test are hard but he gives you a study guide. DO THE HOMEWORK-it isn't for a grade but it really helps! Tests make up the grade-do the study guide everytime!

he is awesome!! i took him for intermediate algebra over the summer. hes a good teacher who knows what hes doing. reviews are just like the test and hw helps alot. hes a nice guy who lives to teach you math basically. if your not the best at math take him because he will help you alot!!

Professor Jadonath is a great math teacher! He's passionate about the subject and teaches you math related to real life applications. Very through and explains all examples. I highly reccomend taking him for Algebra. His tests are very fair and he reviews the material to get your prepared. He's a great teacher and wants you to learn the subject.

Hands down, Professor Jadonath is a great math teacher. He cares about the students and the learning in class. He's always available to help when asked and he's a fair teacher. I have never been strong in math and he explains everything in detail to make sure you understand before you walk out of the class. I highly recommend him!

you got to be a straight idiot not to pass, this professor is a great guy, willing to help if you just ASK, homework is not assign BUT helps if you do it. test are fair and he goes over all the material before he hands it out.

I took this class after being out of school for 9 years and found it very easy if you do the work. He doesn't require homework, but it helps a lot. I found mathlab reinforced what he was teaching us. He did go at a fast pace, so if you miss a class, you miss a lot. But if ask him to explain something he is more than willing to stop and help.

He is very strict. Sometimes i dont understand him in class. He is very complicated..

Excellent teacher

This class was easy for me because I'm great at math, but for most this class may have been moderately difficult. No homework though and he offers about 18% of extra credit on every single test. The final grade is composed of 4 tests, thats it. I got 112, 104, 88, 112. He pretty much gives you a 15 to 20% curve, so aim for a C and you'll get an A.

I have no idea what people are referring to when they say they have trouble understanding him. He speaks perfect english but with a little accent which doesnt make understanding him hard at all. He's fast, his class isn't easy but it isn't extremely difficult either. Don't buy the book! Gives extra credit on EVERY test. I was glad I took him!!

I really did like his class...no homework & extra credit on all his test. He goes fast so pay attention, don't need the book but you can use it to practice, do labs, but if u don't like math then don't take him you might feel lost; overall nice guy!

nice class. Lecture and take notes. Dosen't collect homework. Tests vary, mix mulitple choice and show your work. Nice man, great smile.

He is a very good teacher but he moves at a fast pace. There is extra credit on every test and he has a thorough review sheet he goes over and hands out prior to that test. No homework at all. Just pay somewhat of attention and you should be fine. Seriously. Its pretty easy.

This is by far the best math teacher on campus. I've taken him for two of my math classes because he is so clear, and easy to understand. I wish I could take him for everything. Attendance isn't mandatory, and he gives you a study guide before each test. If you do the study guide then it's impossible to fail the test. TAKE HIM!!!

OMG BEST MATH PROF BY FAR THAT I HAVE EVER HAD! No homeowrk and the you do not need to buy the book...he give out study guide that are just lik the test..and revirew prior to the test...has extra credit on all the test...TAKE HIM!!

GREATEST MATH PROF. EVER!! I have never received an "A" but I did this time. No book, no attendance, no homework. Gives reviews, 6 tests + a final. (You don't have to go to class but you prob. won't get it if you don't)

Mr. J is an excellent professor. He always provides bonus questions on tests to pad your grades and answers questions clearly. His lectures are occasionally hard to follow, but he always reviews material multiple times to make sure everyone understands. Highly recommended for College Algebra!

Best math professor ever!

Mr J is a very easy professor! I took him and really enjoyed his class. Attendance is not mandatory and he does not give HW, lab time is mandatory however. He goes over materials fast so if you miss something either go over it on your time or go to the lab for assistance. Didn't use textbook and gives reviews. Got an A! Will take him for MAT1105

If you read most of the ratings you would understand that Mr. J is by far one of the best math teachers out there. Take his class. You will definitely learn. He rewards effort and is willing to help anyone who needs it. EXCELLENT PROFESSOR!!!

Hard class for me but i think Mr. J is a great teacher. Doesn't require homework, but you really need to do for practice. My Math Lab focus on word problems, his lecture does not. DO THE LABS if you can it will help boost your overall grade and when you take test you won't be surprised with word problems. Study guide for each exam!!

I had Mr. J in high school, and let me tell you, he is the ONLY reason I passed Trig. He genuinely cares about his students & was always willing to work with me on grades. You'd be lucky to have him as a professor. Mr. J is the man!

GREAT TEACHER!! Looking for an easy A, this is the class. He does not give homework but expects you to do the lab work and the lab homework. I did not use the book all semester and got an A. No need for the book as long as you do the lab. He explains everything in detail. I wish he taught College Algebra because I would definitely take him again.

I HATE math. I was really dreading this class but am so glad I took it. Study guides are key. If you go over them and show up for class (even though attendance isn't mandatory) you'll pass. I got in A in the class. There's a ton of extra credit on each test. No homework or quizzes, only 7 tests (including the final). Take him if you can!

Best Teacher!! he shows logic behind simple math functions which I never thought existed before. He made learning simple and easy and spends extra time even after the class to make sure his students understand the concepts. I wish I can get his for all my other math classes. Plus, he gives no HW and lots of extra credits in quizzes.

The fact that im taking another class he teaches pretty much explains it all. He is a great math teacher, fast paced, but has a great sense of humor that keeps your attention. As long as you attend every class , take great notes and pay attention, theres no way you could receive lower than a B.

He is a nice , funny teacher. His tests are based on the study guides . If you cannot score well on the tests, you are not practicing the study guides (review sheet) enough. EASY A. Highly recommended

He is a nice professor but your grades were based on tests so if you failed or didnt do so good on at least to of the test you were screwed or ended up with a C. no homework, no quiz but you really have to study for the test and he gives you a study guide which sometimes help.

He repeats himself a lot, hence the clarity. He makes sure you'll understand what the topic is, and often refers back to previous lectures. There are 5 tests, no homework. The tests are taken from the study guides he provides. Do the study guides, get an A. I have an A.

There are 6 test including the final. There is no homework but if you go to class it is an easy A. He is very good at explaining new concepts and gives a lot of extra credit on the test. He gives a study guide with all the answers and the test are very similar. This class was a breeze.

Mr J is a great teacher. He goes over a lot of stuff my pass teachers did not. Also very funny and kind.

His tests are an exact replica of the study guides. Don't even have to bother going to class if you know the information on the study guide. He gives so many bonus points for people who just do what they're supposed to. I have a 97 in the class, and my last score was a 116% if that tells you anything. (and I hate math). I love Mr. J!!

The professor definitely knows his stuff. Teaches everything so easy. Take good notes of his examples. The study guides, are the test, if you can do everything in there you will do great. No homework required. But the more you practice the better you will be. Built in extra credit in every test to help you out. The final exam is accumulative.

Mr. Jadonath is a great teacher, if you go to every class and participate you should be fine. If you don't understand something you can ask him after class and he will explain it to you, very patiently. His grading is based on about 7 tests so make sure to do EVERY study guide he e-mails you before the test for a guaranteed passing grade!

When he teaches, I feel inspired because he tries to show how it relates to the real world and why it's important. I took him a few semesters ago and he is still one of my favorite math professors. A lot of people may not like that he doesn't assign homework, but I do. Since we are in college, I feel that professor should not have to baby sit us.
