The whole class is subjective. If you are outspoken like me it can kill your grade. She will give you 60s on papers because she thinks the terminology you used isn't business appropriate. However, if you don't mind sucking up go for it. Don't disagree with her or god forbid contradict her. She's aggressive, be careful if you're shy.

She wants to teach you about communication in the business world yet, she is extremely rude to students. She will belittle you in class. It appears as though she does this to try and "prepare" you for the corporate world, but there comes a point where the insults and belittling cross the line. It's ridiculous that she gets away with it.

Do your self a favor and take another class. She is very rude and don't answer questions. she will always refer you to the book when you have a question and will waste an hour to talk about her self and friends. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS

This "professor" is very rude and unprofessional. We had one test, which consisted of one question, and two presentations. She does not clearly state requirements in her syllabus and is very vague in the classroom. A class in how to motivate and encourage students is recommended! Don't waste your time and money. Take a real professor.

Instead of a final exam, we had a final presentation, for which there were no guidelines. In this presentation, we had to impress the "professor". She rushed us through the presentations, while she uttered rude and condescending comments. Why is she still teaching???

Here's one non-slacker. I completed the readings, the assignments and projects. I (and all other students, as well) received NO feedback on our work and many of us received a zero. She does not provide any grading criteria. I received a C. Now how is that possible with all the 0s she gave me?? At registration, her classes never fill up!!!

This teacher is the WORST! She isn't helpful and assignments lack creativity. She grades the writings rediculously hard and gives no useful critisism. I'm an A student not a slacker and I'm struggling to make a B in this class. I work for top execs and can assure you the way she conducts her class is NOTHING like real world business communication.

This professor is Ridiculous! I'm not a slacker, I complete my work on time and prepare for exams, & I have close to a 4.0 gpa and I never in my life received a 0 on an assignment that I worked and prepared for. She will give you 0's and answer questions with "please refer to the assignment" even if you explain that you have read it a million times

Took her online and I'll I can say is stay away. She makes assignments due at noon (not midnight). Gives horrible over the top instructions and has several group assignments. For an online course there was minimum communication on her part. She posts assignments, and that's it. There is no discussion board to ask her or others questions, and this is a comm. course. She is a tough grader when it comes to assignments who deducts for the most inconsequential things. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS ONLINE. You have been warned.

Be warned- don't take an online class with the professor. you don not get the grade you worked for. Ambiguous directions. Makes it harder for you to succeed even though the subject material itself is quite self explanatory and interesting to study.

She will count points off of your paper for not using a synonym that she thinks would've sounded better. Very interesting professor and class concept...

Make sure to use the tutor she suggest on her syllabus for your papers. She is a tough grader and she won't explain why you got a grade you got. Only 2 writing assignments, One group writing assignment and PP. midterm and finals. She curved the grades for our class.

Dr. Nealy's instructions for almost every assignment were very confusing, not only to me, but to my classmates as well. When I contacted her through email to gain more clarity on an assignment, her response would contradict the assignment or render useless to me. The hardest thing from this course is the professor. She gives you 4 pg instructions for a 1 pg assignment. Super tedious and complicated wording used in instructions. Nothing you ever write or do in your group project is ever gonna be good enough. For a communication class her communication skills are terrible. Skip her and find another proffesor.

Her class is harder than it should be, her instructions don't make any sense. She is big on grammar so beware. 3 group projects and a couple of individual assignments. Keep track of your team members, if they underperform you can let her know and kick them out. Read all instructions carefully.

Professor Nealy is the worst professor I have taken in college. Her instructions are obtuse and unclear. You will fail any assignment if you do not give her exactly what she wants even when her instructions are explicitly contradictory. Send her an email outside her two-day waiting period after receiving a grade and she lowers a grade point.

Avoid if possible. Dr. Nealy's course was incredibly frustrating. Her assignment instructions are often as long as the papers themselves and random highlights throughout make criteria confusing. Her grading is tough, and there are multiple group projects. She allows no late work or make-up tests. No lecture, exam was straight from the book.

She rounds your grade but the professor is still tough. Since this class is required if you have no choice you can take her but you been warned by the reviews below. She also doesnt accept late work. There was 3 quizzes, 3 essay, 1 presentation and 1 final for her summer classes. You will heavily use your book because youll need them for essays.

This is without a doubt the worst professor I have ever taken. She is extremely uncommunicative (ironic for a communications professor) and gives the worst and most confusing instructions I have ever seen. She will grade you extremely harshly and never provide constructive feedback on any assignment. If you can, please choose a different professor.

I took her class online and she was too harsh, her instructions are super confusing and when your try to contact her about it she will give a dry answer with no explanation. you will definitely need the book for this class, the book is a true lifesaver. TERRIBLE PROFESSOR. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER OPEN PROFESSOR. She highlights every little thing in her announcements so its impossible to read. She gave 0s out for the first assignment, with 60 being the highest score. Her syllabus quiz is worth 100 points, and she has a 100 question final exam. Beware at all cost.

This professor will make your life a living hell and find joy of your misery. confusing tons of highlighting and various colors without meaning. The professor wants you to follow her instructions that are pages long and make absolute no sense. If there was a rainbow in hell then that's exactly what Nealy wants you to see reading her instructions.

Do NOT take unless you are detail oriented. She is very particular and detailed. Most of the class would get 50/60 on their assignments. I did well in the class, but I would never take this again. Had group projects and you cannot count on the other team members to be as detailed as what she wants your assignments to be. Hated it.

Do everything you can to avoid this professor. Her communication is horrendous, convoluted, and even grammatically incorrect at times. You cannot ask questions, if you do she will "grade" your email, break it down, correct you, and provide demeaning remarks. Harsh grader, class includes multiple group projects and a final based on the book.

BA3350 professors at UHD all have very bad reviews so there wasn't many options. This professor grades so hard and to top it off there isn't that many grades either. We only had 8 grades overall including the final, 3 quizzes, 2 group projects and 2 written documents. I had no choice but to take her after so many dropped her class. Goodluck!

Unfortunately I got stuck taking this professor and thought maybe the reviews on here weren't true but nope they were exactly true. Her instructions for assignments are so long for no reason and she is a tough grader. Wouldn't recommend anyone to take her class.

Professor Nealy is very difficult to deal with. She does not post your grades throughout the semester leaving students confused. unclear instructions and expectations. Very demeaning when giving feedback, nothing constructive. There are 3-4 group writing projects in this course. She deducts points if you message her wrong.

Gives wall of texts as instructions that are hard to comprehend, and then grades extremely strict. You quite literally have to write exactly the way she wants you to. Very difficult class, as you do not receive any constructive feedback on assignments leading you to being lost throughout the year. Attempting to message the professor is difficult as she threatens to reduce grade. Constantly reminds you that you deserve a lower grade. Final is a 100 questions in which there is no review unless u read the textbook

If this professor is your last choice by all means do not take her. Absolutely no valued feedback on grades. Resorts back to her instruction page, so YOU can figure out what you did wrong. the actual worst professor I have ever had. She gave multiple people in the class 0 for assignments that were turned in just because. When asked about it she would say refer back to instructions and she did not teach one thing, just referred us to the text book. It was a five week course and she had no remorse that a lot of her class was failing.

Absolute worst teacher you will ever have. She wrote 4 pages of ambiguous details for a 1 page assignment. You constantly have to look for course work on Canvas as it is not given up front, but the week that it is due. I've know high school drop outs with more sense. Just goes to show anyone can get a PhD.

This class literally broke my spirit I got a 0 on the first assignment after i read her 4 pg instructions for a 1 pg memorandum. Literally all downhill from there, next assignment was a group project with 5 girls (4 of us got 0s on the memorandum) and 4/5 dropped the class before we even got the grade back it was not worth it i had to choose me

95% of the students in this course were unhappy. The instructions were excessively long yet vague, grading system felt inconsistent and unfair. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to rate a professor. Nearly half the class failed this speaks volumes. I would not recommend this course in its current form
