Prof. Adams was the worst teacher that I have ever had. Avoid the on-line course by all means. She belittles and does little to help. Her expectations are unreasonable. If you earn an A in this course, you will have barely done so.

I took this in high school (4 years ago), and she got upset at us, because she caught hte previous class cheating. She made it hell for us. I pulled off a B, only because she liked me. I still remember how bad this course was.
This is the worst professor I ever had. I didn't learn a thing, and she was very unwilling to help my class. I asked her for my old test to study for the new one and she told me off. Avoid this.
I cannot say anything of value here due to censoring... She is THAT BAD...
I learned nil. Talking with other students who took class online stated everything that my class had variety of on assignments, they had to do all of. Had 12-14 assignments I could choose from and had to complete approx. 8. Online students had to complete all of them.
Maybe if she could acutally speak the class would have been ok. Ive seen small children that spoke better than her, and they stay on topic better also.
5 years of college and she was the worst teacher of all.

She's really nice and her tests are VERY easy, you just have to have a basic understanding of what she's teaching to ace the tests. Only problem with her class is that she has some kind of language all her own, so unless you understand her accent, you may have to try to learn everything from the book. I've taken her twice though, and I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to take her b/c she's so easy, and not to mention hillarious to watch!

She's horrible! She speaks ebonics and has a speach impediment, and she is a physco ****! Don't take her if you can avoid it. She's the worst teacher that I have ever had.. well Don Andrews is pretty bad too but I am pretty sure that she is worse. BEWARE OF THIS TEACHER!

At about half way through the semester she told the class we " had a failure to comunicat ". The calss new this half a semester ago
This is the worst professor I have ever had. I asked for my old test to study for the new one and she yelled at me! Very rude and unhelpful. If you actually have to know about the subject matter for a job one day, take someone else. Take someone else anyway.
Horrible... she was just awful. Very unclear. I took the online class and even reading the entire text did little to help me. Don't even bother- just avoid it!
She doesn't grade things fairly,and you won't learn much from her. the quiz she gave us (she'd say to name a product on our own and draw a certain type of graph), I got a 3 out of 10 wasn't because my graph was incorrect but because the price of the product I named on top wasn't in order from highest to lowest & she didn't specify in the 1st place.
I took the class online. If you stick to her outline and really do your reading, there isn't any need to really have her help unless you need extra clarification. Plus, she beats the only other Economics teacher by far.
Online Class, stuctured with a lot of assignments, but the work was really straightforward. Not a hard class, but there was a lot of work.
I took Micro online for Adams and got an A. To do well in the class you have to put in time and effort. Just read her notes, read and take notes from the book according to her outline for each unit, do the web exercises, email her if you have questions, answer the discussion questions and don't wait to the last minute.
She has the writing skills of a third grader. Her notes, quizzes, and assignments were incomprehensible. She will not clarify. Her exams were frustrating, not because the questions were hard, but because they did not make grammatical sense! She is an insult to the Chatt State faculty. Avoid her like the plague!
great teacher, if you complete assignments and follow directions, you will do well in the class as well as actually learn.
I took an online class and she was very unhelpful. If she even did comment to my questions her answers usually weren't even relevant to the question. I don't know how I got out with a B. Most of the links given for the course work were no longer available also.
She may have trouble speaking but if you really listen and are not so close minded about her differances, and treat her with respect, as a person , you will be able to understand her. She is sweet if you give her a chance.If you need help GO TO HER OFFICE! She will help you with anything you need. Just do the work and study hard and you will pass.
I had her for the online class. When I ask her questions, she never really answered them. She would also say that I didn't turn my work in when I had.
This teacher needs help learning how to speak English. Its not difficult to do well in the class if you pay attention and read the book. HOWEVER, her in-class-demeanor is atrocious. When asked to speak slower and not yell, she responds in a belligerent manner. Overall, Adams is the worst teacher I've had at Chatt State.
Shes a great teacher, but she can be hard to understand sometimes. Just take notes from the book if you cant understand her, and follow the outline. Overall and easy teacher. Her assignments can be hard to understand sometimes, but she always explains it in class the class before its due. So, make sure not to miss that day.
I dropped the class. It honestly felt like she was repeating the same thing every time. Her teaching style is very scattered and not cohesive. She seemed like a nice lady, I just didn't want my GPA to drop because of a class that was unrelated to my major.
Hard to understand, expects you to have an understanding of the terms used in Economics along with graphs,tables,and shifts in demand/supply/etc.
She can be difficult to understand sometimes, but when you get used to her speech she explains the concepts very well. Her tests are on what she says in the lectures, though, so pay attention and study your notes.
I had her about 3 years ago before transferring to UTC and she was probably the craziest and most whacked out teacher I have ever had. But she did know her stuff. All you have to do is study the notes and if you still are having trouble just look it up in the book. It was sometimes hard to understand what she was saying but I managed to pull a B.

Took this class online.. Wouldn't recommend. She might be a little easier to communicate with/get help from face-to-face. With my online class, she was able to AND DID ignore many, MANY important e-mails. I was away with a death in the family and she allowed me to makeup assignments. I submitted them and NEVER got grades for them or responses.
I had a hard time at first with her accent, but after I was used to it I learned a lot in this class and enjoyed it. She knows her stuff and is a great teacher. Listen in class and do the assignments, they help a lot.

Prof. Adams is of little help in teaching. Her course outline is poor and her overall approach to learning is virtually useless. I asked early on for additional resources for learning and was told "just keep reading the online content, that is all you need."

Bad choice! decided to keep the class even after I was told to drop. How hard can it be? Well, if you dont mind teaching yourself sign up.Cant understand what she is saying half the time and all about my econ lab... if you can understand the slur on the due dates. Sign up for online class... do yourself the favor of teaching yourelf. Better off!
She cannot speak and changes topics really quickly without finishing what she was talking about. If you ask for help, she is completely useless and her answer is completely unrelated to the question. She is crazy, avoid her if you can!
Cannot understand a word she says, right? RIGHT?(her immediate "right" she yells ten times because she has no idea why no one answers any of her questions). She is so discouraging I just play on my phone WHEN I go to class.
Taking her online Micro class right now. All I can say is DON'T DO IT! So much pointless busy work and there are like 1,500 required homework questions that are mandatory to take the quizzes after you are finished, and you get ZERO credit for those questions. Plus at the end of the semester assignment 4 turns into over pages of work. DON'T DO IT!
Very difficult randomly adds material to tests not covered in class or online reviews. hundreds of homework questions that do not count towards your grades. Poor wording on test questions. scored a 10% on a 3 page essay because I did not underline my thesis statement and offered more data than required. Reason cited was I did not follow her inst.
The absolute worst professor, that I have ever had the misfortune of taking. She is hateful, snarky and condescending. You can tell by her overall score here and the numerous students. STAY AWAY from this teacher she is horrible!
If you do the work it's easy. She gives her online class a lot of helpful notes and instructors questions. Homework is optional, however I always did mine to help on the quizzes. She responds timely to emails. She's helpful. Basically, if you do the work you will do well. It's that simple. Don't wait til last minute.

I am sitting in her Macro class right now, listening to her ramble.. I have her for Macro & Micro. Micro is SO much easier than macro if you have to take both classes. but hopefully you don't pick her.
I had her this semester for micro economics. I had taken her a year prior for macro and couldn't really follow what she was saying in class so I took it online. She is kind of a quirky lady but she knows her stuff. Even if you don't understand what she rambles about, all of the information on the tests is in the notes. This was not a hard class.
I'm taking her online Microeconomics class now and I am having a very difficult time with it. We were told NOT to buy the textbook, we only go from the instructor notes she provides. The way they are worded, it is almost impossible to gain any real understanding of the subject we're covering. She also doesn't respond to emails.
I sit in her classroom wondering why is she even a teacher? She told us not to buy the book and go by her notes which as useless. I cant even understand what shes trying to teach half the time. Everyone who takes her class has either passed because they got lucky or failed.

She was not the best public speaker but if you studied the notes and payed close attention to her graphs in class, then I think you shouldn't have a problem making the grade.
I am currently taking her for an online class. She gives good suggestions and reminder emails on what to study. She also has good topic checks in her notes and study questions. They aren't the easiest notes to follow, but if you read and answer questions the tests and quizzes are easy A's.
Worst professor I have had in the 4 years I have been in school. Tests can be confusing and wording isn't clear. She doesn't speak clearly in lecture and runs her words together. The only pro is that you don't have to buy a book, she posts notes online that you bring to class. Not worth saving the money though.
Week one we were told not to buy the book and that it would be unnecessary. Come near the end of the class, the online notes begin mention "check the book." A student asked a question and she went off on a 30 minute rant how ungrateful we all were for wasting her time. The character limit doesn't allow me to fill the amount of complaints with her.
She doesn't prepare you for your test and then acts surprised when the class average is a 60. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
This professor is extremely hard to understand. she does not use a text book. she writes notes that don't make any sense at all. The students can't understand 90% of what the teacher says. Sadly she is the only Micro professor at Chatt State.
I'm taking her online class, for which we were instructed not to buy a text book. Yet, her scattered and incomplete notes make gaining any understanding of the topic near impossible. I can understand that these typo riddles and poorly formatted notes would be a decent template to take personal notes over while sitting in lecture..
Took her online course for Economics credits. Professor is erroneous, not very clear, and must be e-mailed for clarification, but she is not mean-spirited and provides most of the necessary materials to succeed. Simple class if you read thoroughly. Didn't even need the textbook - Google provides more than enough information.
I have her for Macronomics(Econ 1010) Tue/Thur. It is horrible. I sit in class and it seems more about Food than economics. Her work on E-learn in very disorganized her quizzes/tests have almost all graph questions with no graphs to reference. She is so vague about everything. finally she hops around and forgets to teach things. I feel I will fail.
I've never made below a B- on anything. I'm not even scraping by in this class. I spend at least 4 hours studying (highlighting notes, ect.)for each test and still only make a 35% or below. She doesn't teach what will be on the test and everything she gives us is completely irrelevant to what's on the exams. Good luck. You're going to need it...
Took Macro first in class and attending class was a waste of time. She just reads her notes which she provides an exact copy of in eLearn. I made a B. The next semester I took Micro online and that is definitely the way to go. Much easier and you can work at your own pace. I made an A in Micro with minimal effort.
This was probably my easiest class this semester. For this semester, there were a total of five exams, four "assignments," and three quizzes, all of which are pretty easy if you read her notes and study. She doesn't require a textbook but writes her own notes for you to follow, which is nice.
She is a very straight forward teacher. She will go over the test the day before but you must pay attention because she does not make it known that she goes over it. Difficult to understand verbally but is a teacher you want to take in person and not online. Not much homework and only 5 tests a semester was not that bad. Need to reread information.

This was the worst professor I've ever had. Whenever I sent her an email about something I didn't understand on the notes, she would just tell me to look over the notes again. I failed all the tests. She just goes over the notes, that she's written, during lectures. I didn't learn a thing from her.
Cinda Adams is one of the worst professors I have ever had. She only reads off of the notes and half of the time she doesn't even make sense. I highly recommend another professor, any professor other than Cinda Adams.

Professor Adams has one of the worst learning environments I have ever been in. Unfortunately, I dropped the class before the midterm due to her awful teaching technique. She expects you to work on this class at least 2 hours outside of class everyday. Her assignments are not that difficult but her test & quizzes are nothing we learned in class.

Professor Adams, in my opinion, hard to understand because of how she talks. She will be in the middle of saying a word and stop then start talking about something else. The fact that I have A's in all of my other business classes and a D in her class so I don't think its just me.
She is very nice and sweet! However, shes a little ditzy and all over. She makes it easy to understand and the class isnt bad. you do have to study her notes to pass, but she does type those out for you! You just have to attend class for the attendance and to get the little bit of side notes she gives out
Cinda Adams is an absolute nightmare.. You cannot and will not understand her. She will not explain anything, she just repeats the same thing over and over and tells you that you are doing it wrong, even if it is EXACTLY like the notes. She is awful and sporadic, veers from the topic constantly. DO NOT TAKE.
Absolute worst professor ever. No clue as to how she has a job as a professor. DO NOT TAKE. She explains how to do the assignment by using notes (which seems straight forward, make your assignment like her example)... surprise, got my assignment back with a nice 67% on it... I did everything she said and she even said it was perfect in class.
I read a lot of bad reviews and was skeptical about taking Professor Adams class, but found that if I studied, asked questions and was willing to use all of the recommended material resources that her class was a pretty straightforward. I have now taken Macro and Micro Economics and passed both with an A - so it can be done!
I can see through muddy water with more clarity than I can understand the way she teaches.
Tough Class
Absolute joy to be in her classroom. She is always in a good mood. Work load is not hard at all, just have to put some effort into studying for the tests. Impossible to understand and follow in class. Her class has slowly turned into a joke, so its easy now.

Often times it is very hard to understand what she means, or even understanding what she is saying. Attendance is not mandatory, but she gives a lot of extra credit for those who attend class. The class is not hard, you just must take the time to learn the material outside of class, because you won't fully understand it from her teaching.
