Great teacher!! Everyone loved her! Almost everyone passed w/a good grade. She told us what questions/answers would be on the test word for word. Very friendly!

She was very interesting for Human Development and provided all the tools to succeed. The information is a lot to learn but everything you will be tested on comes straight from her lectures! I would recommend a recorder. She increased 3 of our test scores by 10 points. Easy A if you pay attention and study. I'll miss her as she was very sweet!!

Ms. Andrews is not only friendly but engaging. Her class was by far one of the most interesting and well taught classes I have ever taken. All of the material is thoroughly covered over an even flow of time. Though there is a lot of information, if you study, you will do fine. Her grading is lenient and her class is laid back and enjoyable.

This class was engaging, intertaining, and informative. Mrs. Andrews really disrcibes everything in understangable detail. She provides study guides, pre/post test, and in class time over test requirements. I enjoyed her so much, that i am going to take her again for Human Development. A++++++

Mrs. Andrews is the best teacher at CTC! Her lectures are really lectures and she uses the PPTs to keep her on track, not to read from. Her tests are a little tough, but if you attend class and study hard, you will do great. I got straight As, but her teaching style helps you learn. I highly recommend her!

She is a great teacher but tough. You must come to class. You must know the study guide before the test or you will bomb it. She definately knows her stuff. You must do the service learning or you will not do well in the class.

I would recommend Mrs. Andrews to other students. The tests are not hard if you study. A lot of material gets covered and this is a class that you will need to study, but if you take it seriously, you will earn an A. I took her class my first semester of college after a five year break from school and received over a 100%. She is tough, but if you study you will easily pass her class.

Amazing instructor! If you show up to every class, print your notes for each chapter, and do the study guide you will pass. You have HW most class days but she grades for completion not accuracy. How can you complain. She explains things in ways that everyone will understand. I wish she could teach all my classes. She's also really cool and nice.

Mrs. Andrews is a no-nonsense professor. She takes her class time very seriously, and if you miss a class, you've missed a third of a chapter. Her class is fairly easy if you put in the effort. As long as you listen in class, do the learning curves, and fill out the study guides, you should do fine in her class.

The discussion boards are the most difficult part about the entire class. You really have to follow the instructions for those or you will get an F. Everything else in the class is fairly easy! Tests and assignments are not bad at all. Plus, she drops your two lowest test grades at the end. I personally loved her and totally suggest her class!

Mrs. Andrews is everything a teacher needs to be, tough but very fair. She reads from power points that connect directly to the textbook and she makes sure you understand the material before you leave the class. Her tests are connected heavily with her lectures so make sure to come to class and pay attention.

Very nice woman with a clear expectation of what she wants. Come to class, do the learning curves, and watch the videos she suggests in her lesson plans and you will do fine. There is a mid semester service learning group project, take charge and be involved to get an A. I made a 91 in the class but only because i studied poorly for a test.

Talks a lot, but is entertaining. She brings up interesting supplementary material, and her homework assignments wonderfully incorporate the ideas taught in class. Mrs. Andrews has been a lovely online teacher and nothing less than pleasant when we met in person. I'm always nervous to take online classes due to the chance that we might have a presentation to do for the proctor event. We took a test and it was as simple as that. Responds to emails within a day (unless it's the weekend)

" This may lead Ms. Andrews' first impression to strike as austere; however, she is one of my favorite college professors. There are 2 proctored tests (I made 100% on both) and 13 chapter tests (she will drop the lowest 2). You earn your grade.

I thoroughly enjoyed Mrs. Andrews and Psy1101. So much I was considering taking Human Development just to have her as a professor again. As long as you show up, pay attention to lectures, read your book and really study for your tests, you will do just fine in her class.

Mrs. Andrews will teach you that if you want a certain grade, you have to work for it. What should do to pass: Pay attention; Complete the study guide before the test (the test is based on the study so don't wander around the e-book). If you want an easy PSYC class to pass, then there is some others. Mrs. Andrews' class is for serious PSYC students

Its honestly easy just pay attention in class and for the love of God do her study guides. She doesn't grade them but you could finish the class with an a if you print out the study guides and use it as guided notes when she lectures. If you know the study guides u will do fine, oh and go to class.. It counts

She is honestly a very good professor but she makes you work for your grade. Homework is posted online and needed to be printed and turned in. Her tests were based on her study guide. To pass: Pay attention, take notes and study. Very good professor to take if psychology truly interests you.

She is very energetic! Which is a quality I needed for my 9 am. Class is mandatory and honestly youll be lost skipping classes. The study guides are literally the test. Quizlet is your friend! Show up, do your hw, and study. Homework you do have to type and then print out, but its for completion.

be mindful of the lecture because her test are lecture based and you can easily get a good grade on the test if you study your lecture notes. She does give a group project towards the end of the semester, although it can be tedious working in a group you actually do learn a lot from that project and the seminar that goes along with it.

Best professor I took while here for dual enrollment. Super nice and easy if you pay attention in class. Had one group project which was very easy. I love Mrs. Andrews. She makes the class fun. If you come to class and stay on top of the work you will do just fine. She has clear guidelines but expects a lot. Do the study guides for the tests and you will make A's. But you really do have to come to class to pass, she goes over notes everyday and if you miss a day you get very lost.

Mrs Andrews is a precious instructor! If she was teaching a class on How to Eat a Serpent in Ten Minutes or Less, I would take it. She's hilarious, engaging, and makes her lectures on an already interesting subject a pure joy to listen to. If you show up and listen, you will pass. She makes even complex concepts memorable. I've always loved psychology but taking it with Mrs. Andrews just made me love it even more. There's absolutely no way should fail or not do well in this class. Great course! Mrs. Andrews is a fantastic teacher who is passionate about psychology. I loved this course and actually had a fun time learning about our minds! There are a fair amount of homeworks (that are all short and are graded for completion), but if you study, use the notes she provides, and put some elbow grease into this you'll be just fine

Mrs. Andrews is amazing. Definitely not just an easy A class, however, this class was interesting that it made learning & studying easy. She goes by the due dates fairly well! If corona hadn't have happened I believe it would have been perfectly aligned with the due dates. She is very caring and only wants you to succeded. I highly recommend.

I took psychology with Mrs. Andrews online, her class is very lecture heavy some weeks I had 5 hours worth of lectures to watch before I took the test that followed the chapter of the week. She uses APA format and your grade will drop for not using proper formatting. but all in all I would take her class again.

I really enjoyed Professor Andrews class. She is very straight up and doesn't give tricky questions, what's on the study material is on the test. Listen to all lectures and follow the PowerPoint at the same time, they go in order & do the study guide, you will pass the test easily. She also gives easy weekly homework assignments to help your grade

Amazing teacher! I loved her personality and her lectures were informative and involved. The class was so easy to pass if you just pay attention and take notes. You have to study to pass but the study guides are easy to access and with them studying is a breeze. Mainly just a lot of vocab, and the homework is super easy just follow the directions.

I did this psychology class online over the summer. There were tests every week, either 1 or 2 of them due. There were no study guides, but we could use notes on the tests. She also used a system to monitor us while taking the test. There were 2 discussion forums. She is big on APA. She responds to emails in a timely manner and is kind and caring.

mrs. andrews is amazing! took her summer semester so we had about 2 lockdown tests per week, however, they are open note. as long as you take notes on the lectures/notes/slides she provides, youll do fine. there are also 2 discussion posts and 1 essay that have to be written, both with clear rubrics and are easy As as well. 10/10 would recommend

I loved her psyc class over summer! There was a lot of material to get through, but her lectures were phenomenal. I got the vibe that she really cares about teaching + psychology. She was quick to respond to emails as well. Would recommend her class to anyone!

There is a mandatory seminar you have to attend and then write a 3 page essay over. She really cares and wants you to pass. Attendance is for a grade! so make sure you're there ON TIME.

Mrs. Andrews was delightful. Homework assignments just about every week, graded for completion. A lot of content to study for exams but its manageable. Her exams were typically 60 questions long and consisted of MC and T/F through lockdown with the camera feature on. There was a paper due before the semester ended based on a Netflix film.

I took Prof. Andrews last semester, and it is one of my favorite classes I have taken thus far at CTC. I still think about her lectures; I highly recommend this professor. You should do fine if you put in the work, stay on top of homework, and be attentive in class and studying for exams. She allowed us to use notes in exams on occasion.

Attendance is absolutely mandatory. Mrs. Andrews is understanding to an extent, but she makes it clear that your mistake means your responsibility. The class is pretty easy to understand, but you need to stay motivated and attentive to pass. It is not an online class.

This class was two days a week, in person one day on screen one day. This was distracting and if I have another class like this I will bounce campuses to be live for class.

summer semester: we had one to two tests each week, and each test was based on a different chapter in the textbook. The textbook was heavily used, be prepared to read a lot. Long lectures, I found the class boring a lot but it was super easy. She responds quickly, she's super nice and understanding, and she drops the two lowest test scores.

Mrs. Andrews is very knowledgeable and kind, she made a very daunting subject easy to digest. She gives a lot of homework and tells you what parts of the topic come out in the tests. Instead of taking 2 midterms, she gives 4 tests which make it easier to read. Listen attentively and turn in HW on time and you'll get a guaranteed A+.

She uses lockdown browsers and is very lectureheavy but she tries to make it engaging which is really helpful. Shes stricts but she will help you out if you truly need it and commnucate well enough.

Very compassionate and kind person! The class is very lecture-heavy and involves lots of note-taking (half the tests are open notes), but nothing was ever too difficult to accomplish. Very understanding and willing to work with dual enrollment students!

She is great! Always had her lectures posted to youtube after class. In order to be successful in this class you might have to go back on youtube to hear the lecture again if you dont get all the notes the first time around. Always responded to my emails within 10 minutes! Props to Mrs.Andrews! Test heavy so STUDY! She also had study sessions!

Professor Andrews WAS AMAZING! It is so obvious she loves teaching Psychology, and that's what makes it fun! Participation matters a lot, LOT OF NOTES every class period. She gives you ALL THE HELP YOU need if you just ask. Lockdown tests, just study her notes and it will be easy. There is many opportunities for extra credit.

I ended up looking forward to the days I had psych with Professor Andrews. Classes were pretty lecture heavy but nothing outlandish and if you missed anything, all the class material was posted in blackboard very clearly. She doesn't accept late work but does drop the lowest two grades and is very responsive to emails!

I am so sad this class is over. if you didnt get an A in this class you didnt study or try. Give study guides for each test. Open notes for Final. lecture heavy with slides, but we also watched videos. you won't regret choosing her. Other professors please take notes.

Her lectures are very clear and provide great insight into the course material. To succeed, I highly recommend studying the class notes thoroughly, as exams closely follow the topics covered in class. She is also very responsive to emails and available if you have any questions outside of lecture
