Prof Brown was the best. She lays everything on the table at the beginning of the semester. You know exactly what is due and when. She also gives several reminders. She offers her personal time to students as well as plenty of extra credit to insure that students receive the grades they want. Show up to class and you will not regret this professor.

I cannot believe I am recommending an 8:00 am class but Ms. Brown is worth it - she gets to know each student and will know if you are not there - so you cannot miss - but I love her personality and what she teaches - being in class was a pleasure (as she would say!). You get your money worth for sure and you will learn!

I never thought would enjoy or take an 8am class but Ms Brown is well it!! She's an amazing instructor and well organized. Always lecturing but well worth looking forward to class and never gives homework, and you don't even need the book! Have about 2 essays and 4 tests, very easy! I definitely recommend her. Easy AB!

If you listen and read the notes she gives you, tests are a breeze but still highly educational. Her paper assignment is fun and she loves to be involved in your work. Cannot recommend enough.

She could teach anything and make me understand it. She has helped me a lot this semester and was understanding since I had some personal issues. I heard an expression recently and it describes her: "I think this woman eats glitter for breakfast!" - describes her perfectly - I am grateful for someone like Professor Brown. :)

This professor gets to the point with her lessons. She talks really fast but she is very clear and will stop and answer questions if we have any.

In order to fail this class, you would have to give zero effort and try to fail. Prof Brown is full of energy, uses hilarious examples, and is incredibly accommodating for her students. She also has a plethora of 'enhancements' available- these are extra assignments- you do the work, she'll give you the grade.

I loved her class, and before her class, I wasn't that interested in government, but after taking her class, I am more interested in government and politics. Absolute best teacher I have had so far!

She was amazing! Her class always opened up with current event presentations (everyone has to sign up to present). Tip: powerpoint extra credit. The rest of the class was lectures but they were never boring. Three tests. All super easy. You don't really need the book if you print out her notes. The tests come directly from her notes. Take her!

Cindy brown is an amazing professor, some may say she is a easy grade, but with all the information she gives and yet you still pass the test with flying colors.... Well it's just means she is great and really breaks it down. I took her in the morning and she was very energetic and I never had a problem staying awake! Also use her notes to study!!!

Her govt class is amazing! She is so charismatic and outgoing, she makes the material easy to understand. There was one essay but it was simple and not hard at all. The quizzes are over her notes so if you study the notes you will pass the tests. Great professor, her stories are very entertaining.

I took her online course during winter. There were 15 discussion boards, each requires 2 paragraphs long own post plus 1 paragraph long response to another student's post. 2 tests have 27 questions in total, each question requires one paragraph long answer. Also 2 pages essay. A lot of extra credit opportunities. GREAT PROF

This was an easy online government class. The professor understands that you have a life outside of college. You will have about 12 chapters to read, 3 open book ch. test, 12 DB, & 1 paper. You get more points on your DB's (post or replies) if you can create an in depth conversation. Opinion based course. She's always available for questions.

Her lectures are interesting. She tells interesting course-related stories in class as well. Throughout the course, there will be 3 tests (super easy), 1 term paper and class participation/attendance. She also keeps SI sessions every week worth 10 points each. She is very helpful in and out of class.

Cindy Brown is a great Professor. She goes over each chapter with slides that is pretty much from the book. If you take good notes , you will pass her class. She also have an SI session, if you fall behind and need help.

She is an amazing professor, she is really passionate about government !! She is like a real leslie knope( ref to parks and rec). I took her for GOVT 2305 and we did not need to buy the book , textbook online for free. Technically you do not need to read the textbook she goes over the material and uploads her teacher notes. Just go to her lecture.

Her online class is very organized and if you fall behind just communicate with her, she will work with you! TAKE HER! I cant imagine a better professor for Government. There are LOTS of extra credit, so it is easy to get an A (if you do all the work). There are many discussion boards each week (as homework) and about 4 open book tests. If you have any questions on any assignments, she emails you back fast and tells you what she looks for. She is the best teacher I've ever had!!

Took this course online during Summer 1 and got a 108! So easy to get an A. About 4 discussion boards a week but they're opinionated so they're not hard. There is a paper about the death penalty that is easy and so interesting, and 2 tests that are 10 questions but free response/opinionated like the discussion boards! Extra credit is available too.

Take her class! She is the absolute best professor. Her class isnt difficult and she always has an interesting story to tell. Shes very understanding and gives lots of extra credit.

Cindy Brown is an amazing teacher if I could take her for all my law related classes I would her lectures are engaging and interesting all of the material she covers does end up on the tests but she also goes over everything thoroughly and publishes her notes and presentations online you do however need to attend class to understand them

I took this course for a flex term online, and it was pretty easy. It was a sprint to finish course and we were to do 17 discussion boards, 3 exams and a paper. The course didn't require too much time and it worked out fine. Good professor and easy grader. I'd recommend.

Professor Brown should be REQUIRED for life - she will change yours. She tells the best stories. I had my class done online during the Carona pandemic and she does a weekly Zoom Meeting and I feel really connected. So glad we have El Centro and Professor Brown.

I took professor Brown for summer school 2020. I didn't regret, however, there are tons of work ahead. Don't procrastinate , do the work as scheduled or you will be behind easily. I loves taking her class it was very easy. her assignments were ok but as a person she was always happy and always saw the good in things. The best online course I've ever taken. Take this class. You won't regret it. She is awesome, work is easy and structured very nicely. Took the 8-week course, there are 14 discussion boards (very easy, all opinionated), 2 tests, and 1 project over a discussion board topic of your choice. Tests are short answer and easy. This was a normal 16 week course, she only had 1 discussion board due every week, 3 test and 1 ppt project. As long as you do the work, and do good critical thinking on your exams, then you are able to ace this class with no problem :)
