Scattered at times but very nice. Very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help you get a good grade. So far I am enjoying the class immensely. (Be prepared for a lot sexual education DVD's which can be cheesy and uncomfortable here and there.)

Shes a wonderful teacher, and I still talk to her even though i took this class fall 2010. She genuinly cares about her students and always has a good story to tell her classes wish i could take her Psych 2 class

Such an amazing teacher. She gives out study guides that, if you do, will earn you 10 pts extra credit. Tests are easy; she will give out extra points there too. She really tries to allow everyone to get an A in her class. Just don't text in class or be late! She sometimes gives out participation points so it would be in your best interest to go.

Nice professor with a lot of enthusiasm for her subject. Very easy if you attend class. Her tests are quite easy if you read the book or review her slides (which she posts online), and she gives out 10 points extra for every test study guide you do. Just make sure you attend, because she gives out a lot of in-class points to keep people attending.

Great Professor! Very friendly and approachable. Exams were easy and asked basic questions. if she didn't agree with the Publishers answer to an exam question she would accept multiple answers or drop the question. Take this class!

So far the best professor I've had. She gives a lot of points and extra credit. Don't miss a class unless an emergency. She gives points for you just showing. Read the text and do her study guides and you'll do great on the test. Very fast with grading. She talks really fast, but her lectures are interesting.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Dr. Walker has a well and thorough knowledge of her profession. She's the kind of teacher that will change you to become a better person. Homework and assignments are fair and they will teach you more than you'll know. She's very nice, very professional, very caring and always strive to help her students!

One of the best professor out there. I took her class for Psy 2 and she is awesome. Just do the study guides and you get 10 extra points. Show up for class because she gives 5 points for just showing up. She is passionate about the topics she teaches. Even though, she talks really fast, but she is hilarious.

Million dollar smile, attitude, and humor. She loves her students and the assignments you turn, so she can read them. She is very knowledgeable in her field and helps students who truly need it. Enjoyed coming to class every time because of her lectures. Do the Study guides because its extra credit for the test. she drops your lowest test score.

I highly recommend taking Dr. Walker for any psychology classes that she offers. She spends quality time going over the subject and truly shows passion for it. The tests are relatively easy if you complete the study guides and turn them in for extra credit. Go to class, don't buy the book, complete study guides, study and that should be an easy A.

Great teacher, tough class but definitely worth it. Dr. Walker will do just about anything to help you pass her class. Her lectures are very informative, but rather lengthy. A lot of extra credit opportunities and always willing to work with you.

great and funny teacher. i like how she's a therapist so when giving out examples, she uses life situations and not just made up ones. very passionate about psychology. she doesn't like cheaters so don't cheat. gives out extra credit so take advantage of that. overall just a great teacher!!!

BY FAR THE MOST AMAZING TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD! Truly believe in you and cares. She knows it's going to be hard but will do everything she can to help you! Very open minded because shes a therapist. Love her! But so many quizes although they do help on test. Don't bother taking notes in class she talk fast lol but it's a good listen!

I love Dr. Walker!!! She is such a sweet person and genuinely cares about her students. She gives lots of extra credit: 10 points for study guide, 10 points for going to events on campus, 5 points for just showing up. Her class is super easy. Just come to class, do the online reading (you'll get 25 points), do the study guide.

I am going to try to take all of my psychology classes with her! She is hilarious and I always look forward to her class. Her lectures are amazing. Super fun, but don't take notes because she talks way too fast lol. Just review the powerpoints by yourself at home. She puts them online. I highly recommend her!! She's the best!

She is an amazing psychology professor! Her lectures are informative and she includes a lot of personal stories that make everything interesting. It's very easy to maintain an A in this class. She gives so much extra credit and doing the study guides adds an extra 10% to your exam score! There are only 2 essays and the rest is online assignments

She is the funniest little lady. She gives out MUCH extra credit! There was only 2 essays in the class, and she is such an easy grader too, should be an easy A in this class. She does not cover all criteria on tests. So, if you need to take notes to learn don't take the class. Homework is where you will learn because she gets off topic a lot lol.

Very understanding with students if you are stressed out! A lot of simple assignments that includes being nice to people. Easy points! One essay, but it's simple. Also need to volunteer, do it early and get it out of the way. Homework and textbook are all online too! She's very talkative and shares stories. Overall, I would take the class again!!!

Dr. Walker is an amazing professor and individual. She is super sweet and extremely caring of her students. 4 exams (drops lowest test score), connect assignments, and two essays. She is a amazing professor. Her lectures are everywhere because she gets really into the topic. But it is really helpful because you could remember what she compared the topic too. And tons of extra credit. There is no way you could fail this class.

Dr. Walker is so sweet, loving, helpful and caring. In her online class it's mainly just 3 easy assignments due each week. No exams, besides one midterm and final. She provides extra credit. Responds to emails most the time right away. She is very pretty and understanding. So far I have an A and there's no way not to get an A. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best psychology teacher. Shes super nice, understanding, and caring for her students. You can tell she wants everyone to do well and will be willing to work with you and also gives lots of extra credit. Her lectures are never boring like with other teachers and her class is overall an easy A. I highly recommend.

Very caring and energetic, has lots of experience in the field of psychology, her lectures focus on clinical experience, covers textbook material, and is very caring about students grades and needs. Her lectures are inspirational. Grading for tests follow the textbook, attendance in clinical group assignments, and textbook homework.

Must take! If you have any questions about the material, she will respond to you the next day. It was nice waking up and seeing my question was answered. answer a question once a week, mid/final, 4 group discussion, and 14 chps of work (80 questions each chp). Chp work is easy and everything is done online.

One of the kindest people I've ever met. Empathetic, and lives by her code of mindfulness to all people and herself. She's a therapist, too, though, so as much as she can be kind and forgiving, she can be strict on accountability and laziness. Overall though, she's one of CCC's finest (not that it's a small pool).

I absolutely loved Prof Walker! She has great lectures, is very friendly and even tries to get to know all her students and cares about their success. Can't wait to take another one of her classes.

The best professor ever! She gives lots of opportunities for extra credit and wants her students to do well. She tries to engage the students in all lectures. As long as you pay attention in class, do the connect homework, and DO THE STUDY GUIDES there is no reason you shouldn't succeed in the class. Only three exams (one is dropped) & 1 paper.

Mrs. Walker is great! You will love her class. She continues to be my favorite professor to this day. Her lectures are great, she has powerpoints, and the textbook reading material is actually interesting.

she is a very good instructor and she makes everyone read the text by using a smartbook which is her homework and a big part of ur grade there is no quiz or test the only midterm and final which is a big test but not really hard to ace it only thing is the discussions every week which require research and a valid source she is picky on grading them

Dr. Walker is the best teacher Ive ever had. Her lectures seem lengthy, although they are not boring. She has a wonderful sense of humor and makes lectures easy to learn from. Homework is online from a textbook and extra credit is an opportunity before every exam.

Ms. Walker was my first professor of the day, at 8am nonetheless. She is happy to be there and happy to teach. I still visit her office hours when I can, and she is more than happy to have a convo with you at any time. Definitely a wonderful person but a great professor.

I took Walker for PSY 2, 16, and 5. She gives easy assignments that you always get full credit on and she gives study guides for extra credit. She's very passionate about psychology and she always tells us to be "humble & kind." Taking her for 3/4 semesters at CCC was very enjoyable, I would've taken her for all 4 of my semesters if I could've.

This teacher is very amazing at her lectures, she keeps them interesting and focused. She does provide you with the study guides and allow them to use them on the test. I enjoyed taking this class.

Professor Walker was the best professor I've had at community. She is outgoing and very intellectual in her field. She treats students equally and respectfully and is very caring towards all her students. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Walker's Psy-2 online course was quite enjoyable. I'd very much recommend her class. It was also fairly interesting. Most of the work was available from the start of the semester, they just also had due dates that coincided with the mid-term and final. There was also a research paper and discussion topics that we had plenty of time to complete

I loved taking Professor Walker's class! I feel like psych is an easy class to get people engaged but she goes above and beyond to get you really thinking about the material you just read. Assignments are super easy and her grading VERY fair. Made me wish I was a psych major!

Sweetest teacher ever. She loves talking and interacting with her students. She is a fairly easy grader and assignments are very easy. They consist of one paper, discussion responses, three sentence responses to videos, and a one question quiz for weekly attendance(can retake it if you get it wrong). She's very caring and understanding. Love her!!

Enjoyed her online class! She's very understanding and easy to communicate with if you have questions. grades quickly, so you can fix assignments if you turn in early. 3 exams, 1 will be dropped plus mid and final. No essays. Small quizzes for participation, discussion boards. Mcgraw-hill connect reading with questions at the end of each chapter.

Probably one of my fav classes I have ever taken. Dr Walker is truly as sweet and kind as they come. Class was super easy, small weekly assignments and 1 question attendance quizzes. All exam questions were online. Only thing is a diagnostic final paper, but she explains exactly how to do it. Take her!!

Walker is really passionate about her subject. Her class load is pretty easy and she spends a lot of time on office hours. She is very helpful and gives feedback. I did take her class all online (Covid) and it was easy but quite a lot of technical issues.

She was very clear on grading criteria and is always there if you need help. I really liked the way her class was structured. She makes it so all of the assignments for a module are due on the day of the test, so you will have to self-pace. Assignments were relevant to the test and the homework followed the textbook.

Dr.Walker is incredible I have taken two of her classes because she really does care about her student's success! Her classes fill up very fast I would definitely suggest registering for her courses they are engaging and very informational.

Had this professor twice, and was amazing both times. The lectures always get off-topic but are nonetheless interesting and fun. Dr. Walker is the most understanding professor, always willing to offer support. Had 1 paper that wasn't too hard, and a lot of time is given to write it.

She is an awesome, energetic, caring teacher. Class was very engaging. Only reason she's not rated as a perfect 5, is when we got to certain units, she "corrected" the "outdated" textbook by pushing her own worldview.

Dr. Walker is a great professor, she actually wants her students to do well in her classes. However, she is a fast talker and engage discussion in the class. So sometimes it takes up lot of time in class, and jump over some lectures, which you need to go over it on your own time. Overall, I like her.

She does a good job of making sure the work is not too challenging. She also really does try to take care of her students with extra credit opportunities, whole class extensions (not personal) if she spends too much time lecturing, and taking feedback from students. If you put in any effort you will not fail and her lectures are interesting.

She made the class enjoyable. She followed through with what was on her syllabus and there were no hidden surprises. She's responsive and communicative. The level of difficulty and the workload and exams were more than fair. I would recommend this instructor.

I loved taking her class! Fair grader, everything is repetitive, must participate in discussions, all exams can be taken more than 1 time. A lot of reading but very easy A.

I took Professor Walker for Psy-2 and Psy-33, The work she gives is very fair and manageable, she allows 3-5 attempts per assignment and your highest score is kept. Exams also have more than one attempt if i remember correctly, highly recommend.

I love Professor Walker and I loved this class, but my only issue was with McGraw Hill. The assignments took so long to do, but they did help. The tests were so easy and she gave whole class extensions if she took too much time lecturing. I did get annoyed towards the end on how behind we were, but I think I was just done with the semester. Easy A.

If you are truly interested in psych and applying it to the real world, this is the class for you. Tests are curved, and you almost have to try to do poorly. Review Kahoots give half of the answers and the Quizlets give the other half. If you like structure, this may not be the class for you, expect to be behind. She's awesome. Loved this class.
