Extremely easy class! Gives lots of homework, quizzes, and tests, as well as chances for extra credit. If you do all the work, and do OK on the test and quizzes there are so many points that it’s almost impossible to fail. I passed with an A overall.

Took Zarske over summer and for the first time EVER-enjoyed math! Definatly take Zarske if you have a hard time getting through class, Cindy makes it really easy because she is so organized and clear. Expectations made VERY clear at the beginning of class

Took Cindy's class over the summer and loved it. Math is not a subject anyone wants to take but she made it all clear and easy. extremely easy class. she kind of teaches the class as if we are in elementary school though. very organized and takes a lot of time explaning things. exams are super easy and its pretty impossible to not pass with at least a B.

Everything is layed out for you, and if you do bad in this class, it's because you are careless. She even give you cheat sheets for all of the tests. Lectures are very clear and helpful and there are no surprises on the test. I hate math but I love this class. Oh, and she is H-O-T!

Cindy approaches math using several different tecniques, so no matter what learning style works best for you she will cover it. She is also really nice, and allows notes for the tests. I would recomend her for any level of math that she teaches.

She was one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She is very clear in her notes and if you don't understand what she is talking about, she is more than happy to help out. Tests are fairly easy, you get to use a half sheet of notes (both sides) for the tests and for the final you get to use a full shee (both sides). GREAT TEACHER!!!!

If you really struggle with math, this is the teacher I would reccommend. I'm not a math person at all, and I got an A! Awesome teacher as you could probably already tell. I have always hated math and failed at it...I still hate it but I passed with flying colors. A lot of busy work but a lot of extra credit available all throughout the semester. Lets you make up one exam, all quizes are group quizes and are impossible to fail aslong as your there for them. Can either do HW on mymathlab or from the textbook. She tries to make you understand everything as best as possinle. good math teacher.

Math is my worst subject, but Cindy made it much easier for me. She gives her students the option of using either the textbook or mymathlab for homework. Also she counts time doing homework on mymathlab or the tutoring center as alternatives to the mathlab. She does qroup quizzes and goes over the answers before you turn it in.

Professor Zarske is the best math teacher in the world!I came in with 0% of confidence to come out with 100%. She provides reading sheets to prep you for the lessons,you can use notes on EVERY exam, and quizzes that you will be graded for,however she goes over it at the end of class to make sure you'll have A's on all your quizzes! Math 40 Hybrid. Dont take this! She gives you these reading worksheets that focus more on you pulling your hair out trying to figure out how she interprets the text with fill-in-the-blanks rather than doing math. However, she does care about you learning and is very helpful. Its just that I wish she focused more on just math.

OL Not an 'easy A'; I feel like I earned it. It wasn't difficult, though. Heavy note-taking, seems like a pain, but it gets you to learn and counts for points. Online HW was easy and had help. HW/Tests had 3 chances, but she opened up another try at the end of the semester for everything. It's like she wants you to get an A. RECOMMENDED TEACHER!

Took her Math 100 class online. I got an A but I worked hard for the A. You have to print out reading worksheets and fill them out for every section and you turn half of them in at the mid-term and half at the final. You get three chances on tests and she keeps your best grade. You get to use notes at the midterm & final. Great teacher!

I took her online class. Best online class experience. Received emails every Sunday telling us what was going be due for the week. She is extremely helpful and quick with email responses/math problem q's. Final and midterm are taken in class and add up to be 700 points (most of grade) but as long as you understand the HW its an easy A

I took her Math 100 online class over the summer and it was fantastic. I'm not a big fan of math and was a little intimidated to take it online and for summer school but she's very clear about what needs to be done and is in constant contact with the students. Expect to fill out Reading Worksheets (basically takes place of in class notes) for each section, online homework and tests, and a midterm and final. Awesome class, awesome teacher!! Highly recommend!!

I took her hybrid math 60 class and she is by far the best teacher I have had in my entire life! No joke. She does a very well job teaching. She teaches using baby steps. That's what I love about her. She explains detail by detail. If you have any questions she is available in her office and is willing to help you. BEST MATH TEACHER EVER.

Took Zarske's online Math class and loved it. Online textbook is included in the website subscription and was easy to use. Easy class as long as you keep up with the homework and group assignments (which aren't as bad as they sound). Online quizzes and tests were easy to take and you get multiple tries. Great experience overall.

I have never understood math, i got an A in my final mandatory math class because Prof. Zarske's online course is incredible. She simply wants her students to learn. I have always struggled with Math. It's my most least favorite subject.. well until I was lucky enough to get into Zarske's Hybrid Class. She was so helpful and gave you so many opportunities to get extra credit after the midterm I had 104.7% There are a lot of worksheets (which most are optional) but take advantage and do all of them (xtra credit)

I took Ms. Zarske's online class, which has an in-class midterm and final. You can retake the four online exams up to three times and even work on the online homework after the due dates, though you loose "on-pace" points if it's late. The textbook is online, but I did better with the hard copy. I'd definitely recommend this class!

I first took Mr. Zeller & failed his class but Cindy's class is really easy if you do everything she asks you. The pg of notes you take can help you on your exam. I took her hybrid class, an it is the EASIEST math class i have ever taken. if you are not good at teaching yourself, think about taking an in-class course, but hybrid was perfect for me. she is great at explaining and very willing to help when its needed. it was seriously the least stressful class of my semester.

I took the hybrid class and it was the easiest math class I have ever taken, and I absolutely hate math! I'm ending the semester with a 97.4%! Do all the worksheets because they count as extra credit, do the online homework on time, and use your cheat sheets she lets you use for the exams wisely. I recommend her a 100%!

GREAT PROFESSOR! Hybrid class was super easy. As long as you come to class and do your homework you will do just fine. Allows 1 make up exam. cheat sheets, and formula sheets are allowed for all tests. It is impossible to receive anything less than an A in her class!

Really chill teacher. For the hybrid class we did all our homework online, reviewed homework in class and took group quizzes that were impossible to fail, and a total of three tests and a final. There was an optional test make-up date at the end of semester too. Definitely worth going to school on Friday, class was insanely easy.

Loved her class. I took hybrid, and it was so easy. Online homework takes about an hour each week. For the tests you can use a page of notes with a formula sheet. I don't love math, and I got 102% in the class... Zarke is a great person who really cares about her students. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

Didn't like taking a hybrid course, but it turned out OK. She's really great! If you need help, go to her during office hours and she'll help you understand. Exams aren't multiple choice, but she allows a "cheat sheet" and gives you a formula sheet. Homework and worksheets are due every week, which she gives extra points on if you keep up with it.

She's the best teacher I have ever had. She made hybrid course so easy. Im not a math person but because of her I ended up looking forward to the class and the tests. Easy to get assignments done. She's very helpful. Met once a week. gives team quizzes super easy. The study guides are same as tests. Allows one page cheat sheets. take this course!!

Zarske is a great prof. She's clear on what to expect from the class. Do the hw & her worksheets and you'll be ready for the examsfinal. She provides exam review sheets which are practically identical to the exams. Team quizzes are helpful when you have Qs. I'm not a math person AT ALL, and I'm ending the semester wan A! Study and you'll do fine!

She gives so many extra credit opportunities so there is no way you cannot pass this class! Every week you have a quiz, which is pretty much a group quiz! 2 exams, and the final and she will even let you re take your lowest exam on the last week of the semester! I ended the class with an A, all thanks to E.C and the cheat sheets she allows on tests

I took Professor Zarske for two semesters. I have never been a math person and have always struggled. Professor Zarske was so helpful beyond words, she is always there for you and will never make you feel stupid like other professors. She truly cares about her students. Make the effort to attend class, do ALL your homework. It'll be a breeze.

Each class consists of short lecture, group work (which I usually hate, but helped out a lot), and a 5 question quiz. She gives extra credit almost every week, usually about worth about 20 points. This is the first time EVER I actually understood a math class. Its somewhat a lot of work since its a hybrid but it's manageable! If you're looking for a good math teacher she's the one! I even re arranged my schedule to take her math 100 class! (She even lets you use a not card durning quizzes, and give lots of extra credit!)

Cindy is the best math teacher i have ever taken. This class requires a lot of time to be put into homework but its worth it. I've never really understood math until i took this class. The only thing i didn't like is that the 2 tests she gives are worth over 500 points each and can easily drop you letter grades from an A. Taking her for Math 100!

This class is not hard whatsoever! she is a sweetheart and wants you to pass. You need to go to class and do all assignments. Its kind of a lot of work, but we are college students time management is key, right? offers extra credit pretty much every homework week. The 4 test is based off unit reviews and weekly activities and allow one cheat sheet.

I took this as a hybrid class and found it to be fairly easy. The teacher is engaging and informative. She explains well and makes the topic easy to understand. A bit "group work" heavy for my taste. I wish the in-class explanation had proceeded the online work. It would have made doing the homework easier.

Really good professor! Final and Midterm are the only tests, and there are few quizzes but she gives a practice quiz the week before and the quiz looks exactly the same. A lot of online and packet work but if you can manage it all its a really good class to have if you want to pass

wow, best math teacher I have ever had in my life. I took her math 100 hybrid course. it was annoying because the program was $104 but it provides your textbook and you do online homework so to me it was worth it. she is really nice AND LITERALLY OFFERS SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT DO ALL OF IT. SHE EVEN LETS YOU RETAKE AN EXAM THAT YOU DIDNT DO WELL ON!

After a 13 year absence from a math class I jumper back in and got a 95% in her class. Shes a super sweet professor and very helpful. I really enjoyed her. You actually learn. While you might work hard at the beginning of the semester, the end is usually calm.

Took the Math40 Hybrid class (1 meeting day, most of work done on ALEK's). I've never been great at math, but her organization/ the ALEK's system was SO helpful. She also offers SO much extra credit opportunities. As long as you keep up on your work in ALEK's, you'll 100% be good. By far the best math professor I've ever had.

Phenomenal teacher!! Ive always struggled with math but her system is by far the best and most organized. Fair grader/test study guides/online-color coded notes/graded HW through Cengage or book/replaces low test grade for cumul. final grade if higher. We went from meeting face to face to online due to COVID-19 and she was really understanding about the whole situation. Zarske is an overall great Professor! Like any other math class, gives lots of homework. Homework is usually due by the next class (reasonable amounts.) Never really finished class notes in class, so you have to go back and fill them in yourself. Study guides are completely RELEVANT to exams. Use them! Allowed 1 exam retake & dropped 3 lowest quiz.

She talks a lot and doesn't have good taste in tutors (my HT is a mess), but her class is pretty easy for people who aren't good at math. A lot of class time is spent going over assignments that people didn't understand, so the communication is good.

She never took things too fast and I came in with zero Trig experience. Always answers questions and explained problems step by step. This class was a huge help and I can't recommend her more. Use the study guides! Absolutely prepares you for the exams. Gives lots of feedback to your quizzes/exams on where you went wrong.

Wow, what can i say? Ive always hated math so i wasn't expecting much with professor Zarske. Her teaching method is so clear and she is so helpful in class and online. She really loves math and wants you to pass. One project i had such a fun time doing it i showed all my friends/family. But be a good student. But dont skip class/neglect hw.

I'm terrible at math and dreaded doing this class but Mrs. Zarske makes it very easy! It's important that you attend class because she does part of the packet with you in class. You also get multiple tries on the test if you're a worried test taker like me which is a huge plus.

She explains problems thoroughly. Attending class is mandatory. There are weekly packets for HW but she goes through them during class. When it comes to tests, if you don't do well for the first time, you can take it again up to 10 times. She also set it up in a way that you only retake questions that you get wrong. I've never met a professor that makes math so easy and bearable to take. Math courses are not easy to do. Professor Zarske works with students to make sure they understand concepts well and creates a very positive and productive environment. Absolutely loved this class! I took the hybrid class so we only met on Fridays but this class was extremely easy and Professor Zarske does a great job at teaching. For exams, she has example questions on canvas which I found extremely helpful and she also gives students 10 attempts for each exam incase you feel you did poorly on your first attempt.

Her class is very lecture-heavy and quite easy. If you get lazy then you will not get the grade you deserve. If you do her study guide then the class is really easy. The study guide is basically the test so just keep on practicing that. I found her lectures less informational but the videos she gives more informational. Take her class for an A

The professor is so sweet and super organized, she made the class comfortable and I enjoyed studying in her class. She offers extra credit if you attend the HT session with Megan, which will help with your quizzes and exams. The actual exams are 90% similar to the review exams so make sure you try doing or at least understand the review exam.

Great professor for math, although her lectures weren't the best she provided other videos which greatly helped in explaining concepts. She has a great system of offering extra credit for attending tutoring sessions and her exams are easy and what you'd expect after studying the study guide. And she was very friendly!

I had a great time in this class. We only got together on Fridays because I took a hybrid course. Over the course of the semester, there are three tests. What I appreciate about her class is that we receive online exams before taking the written exam in person, and they are quite similar to the in-person exams. She is so kind and helpful.

3 tests plus 1 final, tests offer 5 points extra credit. Tests are like the study guide besides one or two questions. It's a lot of homework and outside work, plus online lectures you watch before class. Drops two lowest quiz scores. Overall, I had a good time in her class, but I learned more from watching videos rather than in class lectures.

Professor Zarske is absolutely incredible. If you are prepared to work hard and actually learn, then Zarske is perfect for you. You won't be taking the easy way out, but she helps you so much. I grew up having a hard time with Math, I was very stressed out knowing I needed to take Math again. However, Professor Cindy made me change my mind about Math. I LOVE Math! Prof Zarske's course was very easy to follow along with, and everything you need to know will be available to you. I never once had to email her about questions. I took the online summer course, and it didn't mark me wrong for answering homework incorrectly, and it would give problem examples, and also unlimited attempts!! But only 2 for the exams!

This professor was amazing! She was super sweet and actually cares about her students and their well being. She is open to giving you extensions on assignments if you communicate with her, and she'll help you succeed in the class anyway possible. Overall, she helped me understand the class and it wasn't to assignment heavy.

I took her Intro to Stats class and omg she was AMAZING so many opportunities to get EC and the way she runs quizzes u get two tries one on ur own and the second time as a group!
