Professor Anahuac is one of the best professors that I have ever had. She really cares about her students and really understands and knows what she's doing. All in all, I really liked how she taught her lectures and I liked how it was easy to follow along and easy to understand. I 100% recommend taking her if you get the chance!

Professor Anahuac's Ethnic Studies class was one of the best classes I've ever taken. Her grading on assignments through Canvas were simple discussions where she also provided the readings for you. Group projects are also her thing and they were so fun. She gives you a week to complete the discussions and if you need extended time, talk to her.

Incredible instructor.The assignments that she assigns are easy. Usually a 5 pt quiz with a discussion board, but it's eas if you pay attention to the class discussions. As long as you study the terms she gives you, the midterm was also very simple. All in all, a great teacher and an enjoyable class. There were also a few group presentations.

The professor is much more engaging than your average instructor. The content is easy to understand and there is not a huge time commitment for work. If you do what is asked of you, a good grade is guaranteed, so it's your fault if you somehow manage to get a poor grade.

She is really nice if you need help with something related to the class she always is able to provide and explain every detail. Don't forget attend the class cause she never gonna post early the lectures, you will see it couples week later, so if you need to do the homework after class you have to attendance to catch everything.

Pretty good and easy course as long as you try, showup, and do your work. There were 3 group projects which is something to keep in mind if you don't enjoy group work. Professor Anahuac was an amazing teacher for ETHS 150. She's well spoken and very engaged in her lectures and with her students. She always has an ear for what everyone has to say and puts the time in allowing the class to have real discussions with each other. Her group activities were fun to do. She always engaged with the class and provided us with so much information on where we really come from and teaching us the history of Mexican Americans. Professor Anahuac, is a very amazing teacher who really cares for there students success. Her lecture are all engaging, and it what you make out of it, so make sure to read. Her reading is not long. You do have to do a quiz and a writing prompt mostly every week. This class is not exam heavy, it aims more to inform. 100 percent would retake it.

This felt more than a class; it was an experience. Professor Anahuac maintains participation and attendance. If you miss class a lot, skip this, but it is worth attending. Professor Anahuac is passionate in her teachings and lectures in ethnic studies. She's an outstanding professor and always helps students when they need it but more importantly to me, is very clear with grading criteria and assignments.

Professor Anahuac is PHENOMENAL. There are not very many professors who care like she does. I took her for American Ethnic Studies. She is very passionate, and CARES about our thoughts and opinions on topics that are generally tough to discuss. Weekly reflections/group work. Genuinely one of the most passionate teachers at the school. She cares about her subject and believes in what she teaches. More than that, it's clear she cares about the students and their education. The waitlist for her class was enormous, and she even took more students in than she needed to just to accommodate more people.

Very passionate about teaching! Homework is just one short reading/writing response per week and an easy weekly quiz (3-4 question multiple choice with retries). You WILL have to do group projects throughout the semester, and the final is a group project, so be aware of that. Relatively easy and very insightful class!

It was very heavy in terms of reading and I wish I took this class in person. Overall the work wasn't too bad but you have to make sure you are consistent with it since she doesn't accept late work. There is no midterm but there is a final project which is a video presentation thing. It was nice how she provides you with all the readings for free.

The coursework is straightforward with a reading discussion and quiz due on Sunday each week. You will have to read a bit, however, the articles are easy to read. Everyone signs in for attendance.
