Claire is the besttttt!!! She just started & I hope she sticks around forever. I hated science all together and after taking her class I just want to learn more. The learning environment is great! After 2 years at MCC I can honestly say this was the best class I ever took. Not too much HW Tests are straight from what you learn in class. TAKE HER!!!

I took Oceanography with her and quite honestly didn't know anything about the subject beforehand. I ended up learning so much and it wasn't hard at all! Claire's one of the nicest teachers you'll ever have. She makes sure that her students understand the material and will go over whatever they don't understand. I highly recommend taking her!!

I took Geology with Claire and after taking that course with her it inspired me to register for her Oceanography class. She is one of the best teachers i have ever had. Not only does she explain things in a way you can understand and grasp the material, but she makes the class fun as well. She genuinely cares about her students. Best prof by far.

encouraging and extremely patient. has an incredible knowledge of geology and explains things very clearly. great personal stories from her travels, she's done a lot of fieldwork and the pictures&stories are neat. really funny too. she sparked my interest in science like I was 8 years old again. can't say enough good things about Claire.

Claire is the BEST! I hated science entering but loved this part of it leaving. She makes learning fun and she really does know her stuff. She has no problem explaining ANYTHING, her power points are always accurate and she so cool. Eating, cell phones she's fine just don't overdue it. She is a very good teacher and I recommend her to anyone!

Claire is by far the best professor I ever had. She understands the difficulties of students and is always willing to go above and beyond for her students, especially with a smile. I never rate professors, she is the first time I'm on this site. I CANNOT say ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about this professor. I love her. I fell in love with geology. I wish I never had to leave. Tests were decent, just study the lectures + reviews. She gives you MANY MANY times to improve your grade with extra credit. Take her if you can :)

Excellent professor. I never met someone so dedicated and fun and wants to all students to succeed. By far the best professor I have had. This is the 1st time in a while they offered meteorology and after taking her class, she pushed me further into planning to be a meteorology major. She WILL NOT disappoint. I look forward to taking her again.

I took Intro to Geology to fulfill my science req. expecting it to be a terrible class that I just got through. Claire is funny, kind, and understanding. She makes the material easier to understand and far less boring. Not only is she a great professor but she is also an awesome person. Wish I had taken her sooner than my last semester here.

I took her for a 7 week summer class. It was an awesome class. Learned a lot about geology. She is an awesome professor. Takes the time to explain everything and is super helpful. Would definitely recommend her!!!

Great professor. Ive never taken Geology before. She was a great first class. VERY Easy grader. It would take skills to fail this class. Gives a lot of Extra Credit opportunities. I took her 7 week course, was a lot of tests, but normal for what would be in a 14 week course. doesnt use the book, only the lab book.

she is an amazing professor, I don't know how she doesn't have a 5.0. i HATE SCIENCE I REPEAT I HATE SCIENCE but I took her oceanography class and walked out of that class completely satisfied! I got C's on her test and did some hw but attended all the labs & classes and ended up with a B. if you work with her, she will work with you.

She's awesome, passed with a 92%. All the homeworks are from the powerpoints and the tests are based off the homeworks. I don't know how you can fail her class. Easily teaches things, and always is there to help if needed. Fun classes to.

BEST Professor at Mcc. Passed with an A-. Lectures are on Powerpoints. Tests are easy as long as you have notes and the PP she provides a study guide for each test. Easiest A. very fun class. She is very helpful if you have any questions. But when you are in lab she wants you to do your own work and not get answers from other students.

AMAZING PROFESSOR. The best professor I've had at MCC. Very helpful and wants her students to succeed. Her unit tests are hard but study and you'll do fine. 4 practicals and 3 unit tests but trust me you'll know the material. I never thought I would like learning about rocks as much as I do now. Extra credit is given too! Take her!!!! :)

not a science major but dr. condie made science fun and enjoyable! she explained real life concepts about the natural world and got the class interested in the material we covered. lots of extra credit opportunity through earth science club, its very worth it. she wants everyone to learn at the end of the day. 4 tests all based on online textbook

She is a really nice professor, however her tests are EXTREMELY hard. She doesn't really teach in my opinion... She expects us to do labs that are not even what we learned. I do not recommend you take her

I love Claire she is by far one of the most caring, passionate and down to earth professors I have ever come across. I took her 7 week geology course in the summer, and I am not a science person, but she made it much easier. If you don't take her you will be sorry, im glad my cousin and I did. She's truly a kind person and great at what she does.

I loved this class, especially Claire. I thought she was one of the best professors I've come across at MCC. For the most part she's very straight foward, study from the lectures, power points and homework and you will do fine on the tests. You absolutely have to work for it though. She gives lots of extra credit though and that helps alot.

I loved this class. It was ALOT of work but it was a 7 week summer class. Claire is a great teacher and you can tell loves her job. The problem with the class is that some students must of thought it was going to be easy and just complained. There is no way not to do well. She covers all material and test are DIRECTLY from homework and ppts.

Professor Condie is the most genuine person I've had the privilege to meet. She understands that life happens and acts accordingly. Pay attention, complete the assignments, and above all, show an eagerness to learn.

Prof Condie was awesome. An amazing experience for someone like me who was petrified of taking a science course. No the class is not easy. You get what you put in. The class is very lecture heavy but she's fun/funny so you won't mind the long lectures. Theres a lot of extra credit opportunity so there's no reason you can get in the A, B range.

The easiest professors I've ever had. Her lectures are so easy, she makes everything simple for her students and repeats the information so many times that its stuck in your head and the information she repeats is always on the test. She is helpful during labs. Gives out clear review sheets for tests. I 100% recommend taking this class with her.

She's caring.., depending on the day. Get on her good side she will help and respect you. Get on her bad side forgetaboutit. She's very knowledgeable. Gives a lot of work so be prepared to do work properly and accurately because you get scored of each homework offline and online. Now that I know her style I would take her again.

Her class is not a cake walk tho and you do have to show up and pay attention, study, you know the deal. But she tries her best to make a boring class fun and she does. Fully recommend 100%

she will help you with any work you don't understand. A lot of extra credit, lots of hw but it helps you for the exams. You have to study the power points, online hw, and your notes to get a good grade. I didn't study the review sheet she provides for each chapter quiz/test b/c A LOT of those questions were not on the exams. Passed with 94%

My weak subject is science and I got a C in her class. The absolute best!! Without her and Tim I couldnt have passed. You rock Claire!!

One of THE best professors at MCC. Yeah lectures can be boring but she does the best she can to make the class interesting. She is very friendly and caring, you can honestly talk to her about anything. If you need a science class with a lab I highly recommend you take her. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

7 week accelerated summer course. She is a great teacher, really passionate about geology and nature: good hiking/ traveling tips given. She is flexible as long as you are honest, speak up and communicate. Do all the HW, labs, ask questions, show up to class and you will pass! She helps you do the labs and HW. She cares about students.

I enjoyed her class, didn't want to take bio, chem or physics so I tried climate science and it was great. Her exams are straight from the powerpoints and assignments were super easy. I don't really know how people weren't getting As in her class because I found it to be one of the easiest class I have ever taken.

I took Professor Condie for Intro to Geology and I must say it is the best science class I have ever taken. She gives you all the PowerPoints for you to review before the lectures, she gives ample extra credit to boost your grade. Highly recommend her for SCI-155.

She is super nice, helpful, hardworking, and talented professor. She replies to your emails quickly and helps you to explain each and everything. She also give the opportunity for extra credits at the end of course to improve your grade. If you are planning for SCI I55 just take her class, I promise you won't regret. Also, her nature is so polite:)

I can not even express in words how Dr Condie made my semester the best ever! After graduating virtually and completing my first year at MCC virtually.. Dr Condie set the bar HIGH for other profs. and as someone who struggles with w mental health-she gave me something to look forward to EVERY WEEK! Her energy! Her tone! Just gives me LIFE.

Dr. Condie was by far my favorite professor in the entire college. Geology is an interesting class and she is the reason why I love Geology so much. I also took her for Meteorology which was another fun class. Put in a little work outside of the classroom, and you will pass. Please take her!

she's really nice and honestly cares about her students. she just assigns so much homework to the point it's hard to keep track of what is already done; that's my only complaint. she's pretty fair when it comes to grading and is willing to help students out. just go to lab and listen to the lectures and you'll be alright.

Prof Condie is great! She is always ready to help understand the subject and teach you more cool things. Knowledgeable and very sweet. Each chapter has its own terms and methods to understand, and it can be confusing to follow sometimes when lectures are not in person. But I would recommend this professor :)

Professor Condie is a great instructor. I'm not a science major. I hate science but needed this class to complete my degree. She's very knowledgeable and understanding especially when it comes to life outside of class. But it was a *ton* of work so just be prepared and use good time management skills if you want to succeed.

Condie is such a good professor! A lot of the material she covers is hard, but she explains it so that it is comprehensive. She is super nice and thoughtful, and will do her best to help you if you need it. She has office hours in her syllabus which you can access her outside of class time with. I am going to take more classes with her for sure!

Geology with Dr. Condie was genuinely so fun. She is always so willing to help and is one of the most understanding and dedicated professors I have ever met. Even if science classes aren't typically your favorite, she makes them enjoyable and fun to learn. Highly recommend!

Dr. Condie excels in teaching geology. Her lectures, enriched with presentations, videos, and rock samples, are engaging. Labs are hands-on, making rock identification interactive. She brings Ivy League quality to county college. I highly recommend her class!

Professor Condie is great, you will learn a lot with her. The only thing is that, she assigns way too much homework. I was so overwhelmed and I honestly could not keep up. I was taking 3 other classes and this class alone was a lot and stressful. Keep that in mind before considering taking this class.

11/10 professor. Straight forward about what she expects. Just be prepared to put in the appropriate amount of time to complete the material which is disclosed during the first class.

Claire is a good teacher. However, this semester has been difficult for me because I don't understand much of the science material, and there is no study guide to help me prepare for the pre-quiz. The labs are quite easy and enjoyable when working in a group. It's important to note that we cannot use notes during exams.

Claire is honestly my favorite professor. I've taken three of her classes; oceanography, meteorology, and climate science.
