Excellent prof, down to earth and nice. Clear practical explanations, especially for someone not that great at math! Didn't ever look annoyed at some REALLY dumb questions people asked.

Nice teacher who tries to explain math in the easiest way possible. Make sure you attend the review sessions before each test as the problems are very similar to those that will be on the test. Will let you out of class early 90% of the time when he's done teaching that day's lesson.

This isn't a teacher for those who are head-over-heels in love with math and love a challenge. For those of you like me who can't stand math and want the easiest way out, FIND THIS PROF and make sure you have him. Very very easy, make sure you attend review days before test, it's exactly the same excluding the numbers.

Great prof, but very tough. the class itself was nitpicky but that is stats. Calculator based class but unfortunately the book wasn't.

He is extremely anal but he is a GREAT professor. He does everything so that you can pass. The book is not necessary, because he explains everything much clearer and simpler. He does a review before every test and it is EXACTLY what the test will be about. Had I showed up to all classes I would have got an A. I got a C without taking the final.

Dr. Johnson is an amazing professor. He can explain in 2 sentences what several chapters are attempting to explain. You won't even need the book-yes, he's that good. By far the best stats professor. will tell you in the simply form how to do everything. I highly reccommend him for both stats OSM. THis class in itself is NOT easy. NOT going to find an awesome professor like him.

He was a great professor - math is not my strongest subject but he really made this course easy to understand. If I ever had a problem he was willing to help. Homework was all online, had an online pretest before the actual test & if you got at least 50% he gave you full credit for the pretest. He is very willing to work with students.

Great teacher to have. Goes slow enough for everyone to understand and has a review before each test which tells you the exact type of questions he will be asking. If you want a good grade in stats take this guy.

Great professor! Explains all problems in detail so we understand. Also, if class is over early, then he is willing to stay and help anyone who is struggling with the homework. Tells every question that will be on exams so you will know what to study ahead of time.

He's like a Math Guru! He won't make anything complicated, one concept at a time (as much as you need it repeated). Professor Johnson knows his stuff and he will make sure you do as well, if you put in good effort. The number one professor in my book as long as I've been at CSU.

I have learned so much from this Professor in OSM 202. He will make sure you understand the material . He knows how to make you understand. I wish i had him for other math class. Learn a lot in the OSM 202. Im very confident with statistic.

A must have for business Stats at Cleveland State. Such a great teacher. Teaches things fast and simple, no fuss. He completely prepares you for tests. Always willing to help.

Dr. Johnson is the best professor CSU has. He is very educated and it shows. He explains things very simply and in a way that you can understand; even those of us who cringe at the sight of math. He will teach until you understand. He always said "it's that easy." That makes a student feel more comfortable without a doubt. HES AMAZING.

Professor Johnson is the man. Super smart when it comes to Math. Extremely helpful when it comes to concepts you don't understand. Has a review day before the exam and pretty much goes over it step by step. Take him if you can.

Easiest class I have taken in a while. It is a required class for anyone in the College of Business. Come to class, write everything down, and listen. He does reviews for each test and it is basically word for word of the test, just different numbers. Easiest class and highly recommend him to anyone. His classes fill up fast though!

His class is amazing just go to class take good notes and you'll do fine there a review right before test if you missed a class and that really helps he's funny and makes things relate to real life experiences i have taken him for both bus 201 and osm 202

Johnson is a great professor. Easiest stats related class I've ever had. 3 tests, which can be a little tricky, but go to class and you'll be fine. We normally got out of class really early every day, which was great. He's very clear when he teaches but if you don't understand something, speak up! Lots of extra credit.

He is a very good professor. He might be picky, but he is from the math department. Very clear and will tell you exactly what is on the test. I recommend him for this class because others do poorly with other professors.

He was such a nice guy and very helpful. He takes everything very slow and makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on. As long as you show up to class, you'll absolutely get a good grade in this class. I don't think I would have been able to pass with any other professor.

Amazing Professor!

Clarence is probably one of the best professors I've ever had. In every class, he essentially teaches you how to do every single problem that will be on every test. Step by step. All you need to do is go to class, take good notes and you will be fine. He also lets you out 20 to 30 minutes early almost every single class, which is just awesome.

Excellent at explaining this crazy math VERY well. Lectures only what's on tests. Only downfall is ZERO room for mistakes. Only 4 assignments/ tests. Unfortunately, I dropped the ball for a minute and did not pass. Great instructor for students who suck in math. Review notes/utilize tutors. Go to class! He knows who does not!

By far the hardest class I've ever taken. 4 grades - 3 exams and a homework grade, all worth 100 points. Tests are very hard and he grades with no curve and very little partial credit. Lectures are short (Usually out in 20-30 minutes). He is a great professor, but CSU needs to tweak this class. I'm an honors level student and almost failed.

He is a great professor that helps the students. Gives one question a day for whats on test. Gives many examples and won't move on until everyone gets material. Attendance is non mandatory but if don't go you won't do good. He tells you exactly what the exam is. Only reason it was hard is because of it being Stats. He does great job and recommend

Great professor. He makes sure EVERYONE gets the material not hesitating to answer questions, even if its the same question 10 times. Go to class, he gives whats gonna be on the test so you prepare. He gives homework online that is due the next class after the test. Book is not needed but access code is. Stats is hard but he makes it understandable

If you pay attention, ask him for help and study enough you'll do fine. Just don't skip class or come in late otherwise you'll be on his bad side and most likely fail part of the exam. He's a brilliant professor but very tough.

Statistics is a hard class, but he honestly dumbs it down so well. Class isn't mandatory but sometimes he hands out extra credit to those who are there. Homework assignments over each chapter but gives you a while before they're due. Tests are not hard if you go to class and take notes, although he doesn't take attendance, you should REALLY go.

Overall he is not all that difficult as long as you show up to class and put in the effort. Stats is a difficult class for me but he really helped me to understand everything from his lectures. He wastes no time in teaching things we will not need and always tells his students what content will be used for the short answer questions on exams.

He is a very hard professor but ill make this easy Cons: he grades with a fine tooth comb one little mistake and hell take away points you have to give your undivided attention in class if you have your phone out he will embarrass you pros: all you have to do memorize your notes and you'll do amazing in this class just keep rewriting them

As long as you come to class, the class is extremely easy. He really dumbs down the problem so that one can really understand them. He is always there to help if you need it and is very patient. Never play on your phone in class!

Dr. Johnson's humor isn't for everyone. But he is VERY good at what he teaches. I've taken 2 stats classes with him and got amazing grades. He dumbs everything down so well and makes everything so clear. He expects respect and is the toughest grader you will ever have. But if you show up and pay attention in class there's no way you won't get an A

Professor Johnson is one of the best professors I've had. He takes the time to go through the material at a reasonable pace and is able to explain the concepts very well. He also is very good at communicating what concepts are important to know before an exam, which as most students know can make all the difference.

Prof. Johnson is a great professor under the context that I had him. I strongly advise taking the summer semester version of this class. The workpace is faster, but he doesn't waste any time going over material that you won't have on the test. The subject is difficult, but if you attend the lectures and pay attention, you will do fine.

I've heard mixed to bad things about his online courses, but in my experience in person he gave the exact questions to the test in every lecture (including what number it'll be on the test), as well as being thorough with what he expects on each question. This was pre covid keep in mind, but I would say he was a great professor in my opinion ��

I like him. Hesa little arrogant but knows his stuff. He explains the concepts in class and answers questions when we have them. He tells you whats important to know for tests and offers extra credit. Hes big on being on time for class and clear that you probably wont do well if you dont come to class. Id take him again for another class.

The class is very difficult and requires a lot of time and dedication. Although I love the way it was set up. We had 3 exams and had about a month to complete the homework before the day of our exam. Do not get behind because the work itself is not simple. My class was online so I struggled a lil but Im sure prof Johnson would be a gem in person!

Although he doesn't take attendance, you should definitely attend. He lectures from a textbook he wrote, talks about it in class, and does example questions on the topic. He gives you a total of 3 Exams and homework is due at 11:59 pm on the day of the exams. The first two exams are easier than the third exam don't skip classes for the third exam.
