Professor Massie is a great teacher! He is very helpful and makes coming to class enjoyable. When in class he doesn't stand there and simply read out of the book, he teaches you in a way that is easy to understand. He uses real world examples and actually works in the field so his experience shows in his teaching. I would DEFINITELY recommend him.

Professor Massie provided instruction which was clear and precise. All materials covered in class was on quizzes. Lecture style was easy to grasp and understand. I will take him again.

He seems like a really nice guy and his tests so far have been pretty easy. I'm currently taking him right now and if you just study your notes and READ THE BOOK you'll do fine.

Great professor, super cool

He is very funny and makes psychology even more interesting. Focuses on just a few topics from chapter in lecture. The only way to pass tests with an "A" is to actually read chapters and take notes that you can study from. He does provide a study guide for each test, but there will be stuff on the test that was not on the study guide.

Take his class! I promise you, you won't regret it. He's really funny and inspirational. He has so many interesting stories, sometimes I wondered if he made them up but I doubt he did make them up. I didn't have a textbook, but it would have been very useful for studying. I'll miss him and his class.

He's incredibly funny, and his class is really easy. Make sure you read the chapters before a test. The only problem is that his lectures are a waste of time. All we discuss are people's personal life stories. It will take him sometimes two or three classes to cover ONE thing in a chapter. If you just READ, STUDY, and CHEAT, you'll pass!

Dr. Massie was one of the best professors I have had. His lectures are very informative and when talks about his lifestories or experiences, it's very interesting and funny. As long as you do your work and on time, it's an easy class. He likes to have fun in class, so If you're the more serious type then I wouldn't suggest this class.

Professor Massie is a very knowledgeable man, and he does not read word for word from the textbook. He teaches students how they can apply what they learn in psychology in the real word (since he is a therapist). He makes psychology fun and stress free. You'll either love him or hate him. Took his half semester class, I liked it very much. Due to how long the half semester classes are, I did get a bit tired but I would say it wasn't boring. Pretty easy A if you pay attention in class and read the chapters when he says.

Loved this professor! His lectures are always engaging and interesting, even if a bit long. Make sure you do ALL his assignments though. Forgetting to do one online quiz got me a B instead of an A. Love him. Attendance isnt mandatory, he doesnt even pass around a roll most days, but everything I have learned in this class comes from being in class. You need a textbook to pass this class. All his lectures and test are directly from the textbook. Make sure to read. There are no quizzes or final exam just test. but he said he may do final exams in the future. His teaching style is not for everyone but he always has a large amount of people in his class. He tells stories and is very relatable.

Hes ultimately a nice guy. He comes off a little arrogant but if you connect with him and do your work youll pass. You cant be a sensitive person with him and if you respect yourself and respect him hell give it to you back and thats really what you need.

Dr Massie is literally the goat he always keeps the class involved and doesnt just talk the whole class. Also he has a story to tell for every single term in the book and not only does this keep the class interesting, but it helps me understand it and remember it for a longer time. I honestly think he is the best professor ever! such a great person, as long as you do the assignments and do good on the online tests you'll be fine, the final is to submit a powerpoint presentation, he gives extra credit opportunity at the end of the semester. also he does very well as teaching psychology, he's very knowledgeable.

Professor Massie was great. I loved going to his classes and I sat in the front because I really enjoyed his class. This semester we had to write 4 reflection papers and answer questions from certain chapters. We also did 2 weblink discussions. There were no tests or finals this semester.

I can not express how grateful I am for him, He is so amazing... He teaches you about things that relate to psychology in real life if you do not take his class you are missing out. His tests are easy if you print out his study guides (literal word for word on test). He is also very hilarious and his teaching style is storytelling.

Each and every lecture was engaging and included personal stories to back the importance of each topic. Dr. Massie does give large amounts of work and expects you to read the bits in the book so that he can discuss the topics openly- just be prepared to work for your grade! He also took graded attendance at random so its best to show up to class.

Took his PSYCH1101 class online. Discussions and assignments were well explained and pretty much cut and dry. Weekly discussions that centered around reading, a few video based assignments, quizzes, midterm and which were all taken directly from the book, and an APA style format powerpoint instead of a final in which we chose our own topic.

He's a nice guy and the class is very easy. However, his communication skills are not very good. Other than that, he is fine.

I would take his classes again and again. He is the best ever, Dr. Massie is easy going and makes you love what you read. His discussions are so interesting and worthy. Do not hesitate and take his class.

The structure of his class is easy and straightforward. There is no final exam and the work is really easy. The only reason why I would not take him again is because he takes too long to respond.

Dr. Massie is a wonderful teacher. He asks a lot of his students but gives them plenty of time to complete assignments. He loves his students and the lectures are always fun to participate in. Just remember to keep some personal beliefs out when talking about some points in psychology.

I honestly didn't interact with Professor Massie much. The material was very straight forward and he gave clear instructions. The few times I did reach out to him he responded slowly to emails. This is a very easy class. If you do the assignments weekly you will pass.

He did not give us a final exam as he was more focused on us learning the material rather than being tested on it. All assignments were online & the classes were not hard at all. He does talk a lot and use stories to teach, so if you prefer just straight up learning the material, get a different professor because he talks a lot

I enjoyed his class so much, he keeps everyone engaged and incorporates real life events to his lectures. He wrote his own textbook so homework and quizzes are online, it seems like alot at first but you realize its not as you go on. There is no final. He can be really inspirational and not boring with his lectures

Dr. Massie has been the best professor I have taken his lectures are mostly about stories that connect to the topic we're learning about in class which makes it easier to remember. He hates tests so you don't have to worry about tests only quizzes which are fairly easy if you do the discussions. I would 100% recommend you won't regret it.

His class was very easy. Weekly discussions, we used the cenage online book and work on the MindTap activities, a mini quiz after each activity. No final exam, just a PowerPoint project at the end of the semester.

i absolutely lovedd him as my professor. everything graded was online and he makes it very clear what he expects of us, which has been very manageable and easy as well. he is so funny and really does want everyone in his class to succeed and will answer any questions you have inside and outside of class. i wish he could teach all of my classes lol

Professor Massie's class was very interesting and engaging. He did not make this class stressful at all. There was one discussion and one reflection each week and a couple of review assignments, and he has his own textbook. There was one group research paper and presentation as the final. Do the work and follow instructions, you will get a pass.

Professor Cassie was a solid teacher. Weekly assignments were due every Sunday around 5 and were easy to complete. You do need to buy his textbook, but the lectures were decent. There were only one or two in-class assignments, and the grading was fair and clearly explained.

At first I was a little bit anxious for that class because it's my major. After the 1st day of class I literally fell in love with that class. I love Dr Massie ! He's so kind and funny. He make students very comfortable in his class and know exactly what he's teaching!!!! I would love a definitely retake this class if I was able to!!

Dr. Massie is a great professor. He gives informational lectures and interesting coursework that's kept me engaged in the course all term. All he asks in return is that you participate during class and have the intent to learn. cool guy, even cooler instructor. As an engineering student, I'd take more of his classes for the fun of it
