This class has been great mostly because of Prof. Shipley's teaching style. He thoroughly understands the material and communicates it in a way that makes learning painless. Cocky but don't confuse the quick wit with arrogance. He is always ready to help and is flexible in accommodating students. Never without a great smile.

Like most GCC MST instructors... don't expect much help completing the labs, because most labs don't/won't work the way the lab manual says they should and the instructors would rather teach than trouble-shoot computer/network problems that take up entire class time to fix. Also.. the computer hardware isn't even setup right to do the labs.
